but keep them in NYC - just a strong horseriding community where the stables are on the outskirts and the horses are a welcome regularity in the city.

miles has long become a fixture of brooklyn with his horse, spider. and she is beautiful, a black snowflake appaloosa whose lighter speckles seem to shine almost chestnut in direct sunlight; appreciative whistles often reserved for impressive sports cars follow in her wake as she clops down the sidewalks. spider probably knows the streets of brooklyn better than anyone, has a propensity to nuzzle the heads of children and teasingly nip at the hoods on unsuspecting passersby—and even, if the rumors are to be believed, is no stranger to stopping the occasional crime under miles' expert direction.

she's loved, he's loved, and there's an unspoken truth that if anything were to happen to either of them brooklyn would go on the charge in their name.

hobie's not from brooklyn, or nyc. he ends up in the city out of necessity when a friend's couch opens up and he can make an escape from his past. so when he spends his first weekend there walking around to get his bearings of this new place, he's stunned by the number of horses that seem to just...blend in. there's relatively little reaction from the crowds, they seem to navigate around the horses like it's second-nature, and hobie is intrigued. where he's from, seeing this many horses means needing to make a trip out to the countryside.

where he's from, the people with horses within city limits only belonged to cops. not freely in the hands of new york city residents.

he wants to know everything about these horses. eventually, he gleans from someone who didn't take one look at his spiked vest and narrow their eyes where the stables are, and hobie doesn't wait, he goes that night to check it out. get a better glimpse of what this club's about, check out the horses on his own time, and—

sue him. that pretty speckled black horse looked like she fell in love with him just as much as he did. it's not his fault that the padlocks on the stables are rusty enough to break easily, or that she was all too willing to be led out to the ring and mounted by someone with zero riding experience. nor is it his fault that when she reared up onto her hind legs that hobie didn't know where to grab on that wouldn't hurt her, and thus fell off onto an arm that apparently is just as easy to break as a padlock.

it is, admittedly, his fault that the first thing he did when the fuming owner stomped up to him the next time he shows his face at the stables was ask for the horse's name, the guy's name, and his phone number, in that order, before thinking to apologize.

(uncle aaron knows something miles doesn't know, he's sure of it. bc he otherwise can't figure out why his uncle would offer hobie a chance to join the club, as well as offer miles up as his partner.)

((the first thing miles does is throw hobie a shovel. if nothing else, at least he's going to be off cleaning duty for awhile.))

A/N: We need to keep things nice and balanced between the fluff, smut and angst.

5. “Don’t you ever do that again!”

Peter doesn't take as many risks as he used to before you were married. He still gives it his all, of course he does, but he's not reckless when he fights. There does tend to be an ocassion where he will act like that still, come home with injuries, a bloody nose and such but he tries to keep those to a minimum to not worry you. He faces your wrath for those before, and he would rather fight a hundread more enemies then make you sad, angry and scared for him.

Miles already knows to be careful when doing hero work but he is also a bit of a show off. He makes it a habit to visit you after and one night he shows up in a pretty bad state, unable to go home. You call his parents and make up an excuse that he fell asleep during movie night, all the while he's groaning with an ice pack on his ribs. While laughing about a joke he made his ribs hurt even more so you have to kiss him to make him stop, and to comfort yourself. While his injuries will heal he needs to promise to be more careful, one Spider-man already died in this universe, and your boyfriend won't be next.

Gwen lost someone imortant because she wasn't paying enough attention. You bet she gets pissed off when she sees you jumping head first into danger. But she doesn't just yell, she starts crying while patching up your injuries because she can't handle the thought of losing you. It ends with you being the one who is holding her in your lap, kissing her cheeks with bruised lips telling her how she's your inspiration for doing what you do, you don't regret it and a few injuries, big or small, won't stop you from being her best partner.

Miguel downplays his own injuries but goes off when he sees you put yourself in danger. He's a big guy, he heals pretty fast too but you, fully human and so damn hardheaded. How can he not tell you to take it easy from time to time. You laying in bed with a fever from a venom that you took instead of him. Venom, something that's already in his blood, reckless as hell. Every kiss that he gives you is like the last, his hands fast as they check you for injuries but really gentle, like you'll break in his hands.

Hobie hums a song while you patch his injuries trying to soothe you, his fingers tapping on the bed, foot moving along with his hums. Not a single note back? Why are you so upset? His life isn't in danger or anything, he' ll be fine. Or you can kiss it better, that's an option. Anything, just cry okay? He's proud of the work he's doing, risks are part of it, but its worth it to make a better, safer world for the two of you, and everyone else of course.

Pavitr has a hard time keeping his groans of pain to himself but he doesn't wanna worry you any more then he already has. He wraps his arms around you and pulls you to his side, whispering that he's gonna be okay eventually. Until then he will take it easy so don't yell at him again, he knows he should have been more careful but at times his body moves on his own without thinking. Kinda like when he kisses you, only more painful.

Spiderman bf x Sanrio Gf all the way. He made you binge the spiderman movies with him. He likes all of them, but specifically Spiderverse movies with Miles?? Yeah its over for him. You guys have matching spiderman x Hello Kitty inspired bracelets that he is NEVER seen without. He also loves to quote shit from the movie, even if it's corny and makes you side eye him.

Like....Ok Baji. But it's cute. He just adores Miles Morales and you fuel his spiderman addiction like he fuels your sanrio addiction.

He likes when you play in his hair. He relaxes with his head in your lap like a cat, and if you play with his hair long enough, you'll send him to sleep. By the way, he's the type of boyfriend to suddenly surprise you by just randomly leaning all of his weight onto you...Beware of that.

He loves your hair. He's pretty good at detangling, but he can't get the hang of styles. He comes over to hang out and bother you whenever you do your hair though. Or he visits you at the hair salon to bring you food. The same with when you get your nails done at the nail salon. However, if he isn't with you when you get your nails done and you don't tell him that you got them done, give him one to two business days to notice. In his defense, he's way too wrapped up in your presence and making eye contact with you to look at your nails.

Lots and lots of food dates. If there's one thing that boy can do it's eat. Also, while he does like to be romantic for you, you two find adventurous and interesting dates better than static restaurant dates. Im talking things like axe throwing, rage rooms, laser tag, arcade's. Things of that nature. Baji loves having fun with you, its when you smile the brightest.

The type of boyfriend that likes to snoop around your room. Not in an intentionally invasive 'trying to catch my partner cheating' kind of way, but he thinks you and all the stuff you have are interesting. He's always asking you what something is, poking at the books on your bookshelf, comparing your eyelash curler to mideval torture devices ect. He'll also place your plushies on your head, and he probably has tried to wear your bonnet at least once..

When he starts acting up during Toman meetings, they send him to you LMAO. Either to your house, or over to wherever you're sitting/standing at the time. They like to joke that when Baji hasnt gotten his daily dose of you, he starts tweaking and acting worse than normal, so they get you to remind him to be on his best normal civilian behavior.

Baji is proud of his ranking and involvement with Toman. He's proud to show you off to all his friends, and he likes to see his lover and his friends mesh so well. It makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. However, in times that tensions arise, he's a little more cautious with you. He's certainly had a nightmare or two that something happened to you. He's even given you his Toman jacket with his name on it to wear whenever you have to walk home from school if he isn't there for some reason to walk with you. He wants everyone to know that if they mess with you, they mess with him. And forgiveness is automatically ruled out if someone so much as lays a finger on your head without your permission.

He likes to eat your chapstick/lipgloss??? He immediately pounces on you whenever he sees you reapply, especially if he recognizes the little tube with his favorite flavors. He'll kiss you all over, but paying specific attention to your lips. He might even nibble on your lips. Not even in a sexual way, but it's like candy to him and you have to shove his face away if you want any remnants of your lip products to remain on.

It's the same when you wear cocoa butter. He learned from past experience that unfortunately, your cocoa butter lotion does not taste as good as it smells, but that doesn't stop him from occasionally biting you with his sharp ass teeth whenever he's bored or you aren't paying enough attention to him. He just does it to annoy you at this point, but never enough to actually hurt you.

He's the type of boyfriend to say 'no' when you ask him to do it, and then immediately do it. Also says shit just to mess with you.

"You know I went to juvie once? I gave two guys there a concusion." "Seriously? What'd you go for?" "I set a whole apartment complex on fire." "....Are you lying?" "yeah"

He will occasionally bring you flowers, but more often, he prefers to bring you other interesting trinkets. He doesn't like the idea that his proclamations of his love (the flowers) end up dying. So he takes to getting you other things. Plushie bouquets, lego flowers to put together, origami he made forced chifuyu to help him make ect.

He takes the sidewalk rule seriously. He doesn't want you get hurt at all, and he also stares down any guys that are up to no good. He's 10000% ready to fight for you.

However, if its raining and your hair is in a protective style, he's definitely gonna try and move the umbrella/pull you out in the rain to mess with you. He's like an orange cat that requires to cause mischief....constantly. He likes play fighting with you, and OCCASIONALLY will let you win. He tries and act like he isn't ticklish himself, but if you tickle him mid wrestling, its almost a certified win for you. He's also down for any tiktok trend you wanna try and film with you.

All in all, He's definitely an orange cat kind of guy. Whenever you tease him about his little k-9's poking out unconsciously, he WILL blush. But honestly, its one of the cutest things about him. He's a very physical boyfriend, and loves to roughhouse. Whenever you're not around, he gets pretty restless and bored....He's also more prone to getting in trouble. Even his mom notices you keep him in line. It's kind of cute.

Hi Mars! I really like your work and I especially love your comics ~ they each have the perfect amount of intense and gay af moments, which are important qualities that I look for in the webcomics that I read! 🤣☺️

Another thing that I love about Long Exposure and Ride or Die is how cinematic they are, and that particular aspect is truly a testament to your talents as an artist!

My question for you is have you ever thought about what either comic would be like if they were adapted for film or television, and would you want them to be live-action or animated?

AHHH OHH GOOD QUESTION

if Long Exposure were live action, i'd want it to feel like this:

very moody lol. think Chronicle, Short Term 12, King Jack (all of which were inspirations)

if Ride or Die were live action, i'd want it to feel like this:

dramatic and dark (neon noir?) but with big moments and action highlighted by intense color. and a mix of practical effects and cgi for the horror elements. thinking like, Drive, Baby Driver, Watchmen (tv show), Bullet Train, and Candyman (2021).

NOW, IF THEY WERE ANIMATED....

surprising no one lmfao i would love if ROD or LE looked anything like spiderverse!! it's a big style inspo for the ROD comic as well

to add onto that, ENTERGALACTIC is another spiderverse-esque styled movie that i love the look of. if you like spiderverse i recommend it btw, esp if you're looking for something more adult oriented

there aren't a ton of cgi animated movies/shows i like the looks of admittedly, so that list kind of ends with spiderverse and entergalactic. BUT!! in terms of 2D animation, captain laserhawk would probably be the first thing i point to for animation inspiration if ROD or LE were to be TV/movies. i'm a new big fan of bobbypills animation.

for ROD specifically, i love the animation (esp the car animation) in Chiaki's Journey, a series by the Line Animation studio. it's BEAUTIFUL!!! i'd absolutely die happy if an animated ROD looked anything like it

special bonus shout out to this love death and robots episode directed by Robert Valley (who's also behind Motorcity)... I don't know if a full LE/ROD series/movie would fit in this style, but i DO LOVE IT SO MUCH so i thought it was worth mentioning lol

A/n: I’m sorry Most of these are either short cuz I didn’t know what to put for them or come across as a carbon copy of the other in due to me not knowing what to put there instead🤣

Miles sympathises with you wholeheartedly.

Trying to find a healthy balance between being a nurse -an intensive and highly demanding profession- and being a hero was definitely a challenge that had detrimental affects upon one’s mental and physical health.

Miles would affirm you with his words of praises and encouragement all the while holding you tightly, wilfully being your personal pillow/recharging station that often times he’d catch you fall asleep against him because his presence was that warm and comforting to you that it lulled you into a peaceful sleep.

Miles deeply admires your dedication to saving people not only as hero but also within the medical field. But he often does worry that you work yourself to the bone trying to find a way to perform both tasks without having them overlap one another.

There do come days where it all becomes a bit too much as your body grows sick and tired of your constant negligence and choose it’s way of rebelling by refusing you any sort of mobility of your limbs. Your mental state also tanks which only made your want to move even harder as you didn’t even have to willpower to make it so.

Miles would be a major source of comfort during these moments as he would remind you of all the achievements and accomplishments you’ve made during your tenure as both hero and Nurse. He’d probably have his music on as background noise whilst he’s taking the time and effort in making sure you’re as comfortable as possible.

Things he most often says are;

‘You have done so many amazing things and your only just getting started! How cool is that?!’

‘You’re an inspiration to not only the people you save on a daily basis but your also an inspiration to me as well that I even made art about you. Here, take a look!’

‘Don’t beat yourself up over this, you always get back up and hit them twice as hard because that’s what my y/n does, for my y/n ain’t no quitter, they’re a fighter.’

‘Bad days come to pass because the better ones always remain.’

‘Rest, I’ll take over from here.’

‘You’re not alone in this because I’m not going anywhere, I’ll be right here to catch you when you need me to.’

Pavitr would, If you let him, smother you in affection and cuddles but to the right amount so it doesn’t cross the border where it could potentially get annoying.

Which with Pav, it never does because his hugs and cuddles were the best and yet to be topped by anything or anyone because they are superior.

Plus they brought you warmth and comfort that you can’t help but bury yourself into his neck after a shit day in hopes of forgetting all about it as his hand rubs your back soothingly whilst also fighting the urge to just fall asleep then and there.

Also this lad would just spoil you with small gifts as to show his appreciation for you even though he does so quite eloquently enough with his words and his actions that this was merely the cherry on top.

Due to Pavitr being more able to read people then most, he’d notice the indicators within you that told him you weren’t feeling your best and he would make sure to take you to his favourite places within Mumbattan in hopes that it’ll help you by even just a little bit. After all he’s aware of the concept that fresh air and a change of pace were beneficial to a better mental health, and all he wants was for you to feel better, even if it was by a little that would mean a whole lot to him.

Hobie would want you to have a change of scenery from the hustle and bustle you subjugate yourself to on an daily basis to somewhere less noisy and loud within any aspect.

Sure it’s not his kind of scene but for you and how much work you put on yourself just to come home, looking as though any minute you were going to collapse? It was worth seeing you gradually become more relaxed and at peace to the point you fall asleep against his shoulder and he has to carry you back home.

again Hobie didn’t care since he knew how much sleep you missed out on and would not hesitate to get you a few days off if he feels as though you workplace was taking the piss out of you by thinking you were expendable.

He ain’t having none of that shit when it came to you.

Hobie wasn’t about to let you work yourself to the bone and not get a single thanks nor your flowers for busting your ass.

You tell him that it doesn’t bother you as you were doing what your job entails but Hobie more or less your backbone within these sorts of situations because he didn’t want you being taken advantage of just because you were ‘hard working.’ Not to say you aren’t but Hobie was more then well aware that this was often the excuse given when some shit stain wanted to offload their work onto someone else for personal gain.

It was always the ones who worked the least or didn’t work at all that got the appraisal and the promotions.

So Hobie would always and I mean ALWAYS praise you for everything you’ve done for he doesn’t believe you hear it enough for his liking.

Also he’s great with advice so when the days were particularly rough, he’d probably drop a bit of sage advice in regards to any aspect that you were finding hard to cope with like; ‘while the aspiration to save everyone is admirable; it’s unrealistic. For you’re setting yourself up to traverse down a road where instead of pointing out the problem, you are made to believe that you are the problem. Instead of trying to save everyone, focus on saving one person at a time for that one person could be someone else’s everything.’

Being the absolute secret sweetheart that he is, Miguel would try and help take the weight off of your shoulders and make your life a whole lot more easier by performing small acts of service that he knows you’ll greatly appreciate.

Even if it was the minuscule things such as; making you your favourite beverage, setting up a relaxing bath/ shower. fluffing up the pillows, smoothing the creases out of the duvet, cooking your favourite food since you always tell him that one of the things you always loved coming home to was the smell of his cooking. Hell do it all if it made you happy.

Miguel defiantly pampers you on the days where you felt more fatigued from your dual jobs. He doesn’t want you to do anything for you’ve already done enough to warrant yourself some much needed rest.

He lives to serve his beloved and would reject your requests to help him by planting kisses to your lips until you ultimately accept his pampering with little to no complaint.

If you were in the spider society, he’d give you time off because he’s the boss and all and if you were to go against his request for you to take time for yourself, he’d threaten to double it even though he was seriously considering it with how obvious tightroping two jobs was negatively effecting you.

Miguel doesn’t want you to overwork yourself but will overwork himself…what a hypocrite.

Soft Miguel is only soft with you.

WHEN MIGUEL O'HARA first met you, he saw in your eyes the kind of look he once had. An unbridled rage, towards the world, or towards yourself, he couldn't tell. But he did know that the anger, if untrained, could destroy you.

It is the year 80077, an anomaly has been seen in your universe, an additional problem to your already dangerous world. Spot, as you've identified, is not human, at least not anymore. Living in a world ruled by artifical intelligence with only 0.8% of trueborn humans existing, you aren't exactly bothered anymore with non human villains.

But 4 years since you became the remaiming human population's Spider-droid, you've yet to be met with one like him.

You would've caught him, of course, if you weren't distracted by a random multiverse hooe opening itself up in the middle of the underground wiring lab. The stupidly large looking spider-man did not hesitate to fling a badly designed watch towards you after a 15 minutes argument between the two of you gave Spot time to enter another spiderverse.

You would've flung the watch back at his face out of spite if you weren't curious to know where the road might lead you.

"That rebellious streak you have is going to end up costing you your life, you know?" The spider-man tells you after you're done insulting and cursing his whole family line. "I should hope so, because the only way I'll go down is with my head up high."

He rolls his eyes, muttering a 'cliche ass' under his breath before the two of you appear in the large headquarters.

You ignore the rapid spider-people around you, not wanting to betray your awe in front of Miguel. When another door opens for him, a much quieter space reveals itself to you.

"I don't like half of people we're about to meet either but I'll expect you to refrain insulting any of them in more than two languages, the only reason we're all here us because the fate of the mul-" "-multiverse depends on us, yeah I got that in the first 10 speeches you manage to give on our 1 minutes ride." You're pleased with the tired sigh leaving him.

You could see a few teenagers hanging around Miguel's desk, but what caught your attention was the dark skinned pregnant women making her way straight to him. "You should've called for backup." Her voice booms as she nears you both.

"Didn't need to, I had her." He says simply, nudging his head towards you before flinging himself upwards to his table. "Who the fuck opened dress up games on my tab?" You hear him yell, eyes directly at a man with a baby strapped to his chest.

You take a quick look at all of them before zeroing down on the girl, your eyes connected, and you sensed she was either uncomfortable or afraid of how your eyes are squinting on her. "Spider-droid, is what most people call me." You say, eyes still directly on her. "Droid? As in robots?" The big eyed looking teenager next to her asks.

"-And, who is she exactly?" The afro haired women ask, eyeing you up and down. A small crowd then began to form in front of you, Miguel then, finally has the curtesy to come back down in between you and the spider-people. "A spider-person. He responds with a sarcastic air in his tone, making the blonde with pink strands scoff aloud.

"Do you like, fight robots?" Miguel snorts at him, and you glared at Miguel. "Depends, most of my populations are robots, rather than trueborn humans."

The blonde opens her mouth to ask a question you already knew coming, you cut her off before she speaks. "I would be considered, a full human, if it werent for-" You wave your steel made left arm up, flexing the fingers, earning a few gasps and hums of understanding. "-this."

The silence came then, even Miguel seemed to be suprised, not taking notice of your arm before. "I-" She starts. You raise your brows at her. "I'm Gwen." You laughed, a short but unhelpable laugh. "Nice to meet you, Gwen." That has seemsed to snap Miguel out of his subconscious. It seems that man is allergic to social interaction that is anything but necessary.

"We can't let you go back for a while, I'll have your unierse supervised for any signs of Spot returning, but I have a feeling I know where he's going next, and I want you in." Your eyes snap at him and he gives you a look that challenged you to deny him. So you say nothing.

"Good. Penni, I want you to show her to the weaponary room, see if she can attach anything to that steel arm of hers, it'd be useful." Penni, who you just noticed exist, smiled widely, and you notice her gigantic robot-pet looking friend.

Before eitner of you moved, Gwen speaks up. "I can take her, I-uh, I need a new...new-uh, gun?" Miguel's eyes widen as he asks, "New gun? You need a new gun?" His voice in utter disbelief. "For backup, its handy-" She defends himself, resulting in him just waving her off, eyes shut in frustration. "Oh for fu- fine, whatever." He leaves in a split second away from you all.

Gwen and you watched him fly himself up his table before finally looking back at eachother. She's staring at you the same way as before, mouth open, confused.

You raised a brow in question and she just looks more confused. "Gwen." You speak. "Yeah?" "Will you take me to the weaponry room now, I don't bite, I promise."

Her mouth shuts close, and she lets out a wide eyed nervous laugh, shaking her head. "Right, the weaponry! I definitely um, remember, where it is!" She says, moving to walk in front of you as you follow her steps closely.

Your pace quickens until you're next to her, you notice she seema more relaxed than a minute ago. You were used to fear, and cautionary. You were raised by those standards. When your parents had died of mercury poisoning, you've taken their place in a fast succeeding company of scientific research at the age of 15, only a spider-droid for a year before the occurance.

All the tragedies that has happened to you, all to lead you here, in a building full of people who are just like you, yet nothing like you. When Miguel had told you of this, you almost tamed some hope of finding kindred spirits, but time and time again, you fall back into the hands of fear, and cautionary.

"We're here." She squeaked, making you flinch out if your daydream. "You gonna get your gun?" You ask jokingly. Gwen lets out a short laugh. "No, I don't think so. But um, I'll show you in." She offers, walking you in the guns and shooters section, the bulletproof suit vests' right next to it.

"I already have lasers, I don't think I'll be needing a gun either, or anything Miguel thinks can make me better." You explain, looking around the room. You see Gwen nods her head, eyeing your arm. "Well, If you want to take a shower instead, you can use a room im staying in here. How do you shower with that?" She asks. You give her a small smile, putting down a revolver you've been holding, back down to its place before turning to leave the room. "I take it off."

She was silent for a while, until you hear her mumble "Goddamn." As she walks behind you.

-Having a crush on you-

-Now I feel like he would act like a very nervous lovesick fool around you. He would definitely stutter a bit when talking to you cause you're just so pretty! and handsome and gorgeous and... He could honestly go on forever.

-I also feel like he would ask Uncle Aaron on how to impress you before the events of into the spiderverse (R.I.P Aaron, you'll be missed :() He would definitely try to follow his uncle's advise but ultimately fail cause you might think it's cringy or something. PLEASE- He would definitely try that one scene with gwen in Into the spiderverse, where he goes like "Hey" and puts a hand on your shoulder.

-Ganke would unfortunately have to deal with his lovesick ass. Miles would talk about you so much that Ganke kicked his ass out of the dorm for disturbing his sleep because he talked so much about you. You guys know his sketchbook? Miles would definitely use you as an inspiration to draw a lot.

-Miles would draw you A LOT. You in every single view, in every single outfit you wear, etc. So don't be surprised if you managed to take a look at his sketchbook and see a bunch of fucking drawings of you.

-Would definitely make playlists for you guys to listen to when ya'll study together. And let me just say- Mans got some good taste. He would definitely pick songs that make him remind of you. He would also get some songs you like as well! He would definitely ask you what your music tastes are or what artists you listen to.

-I feel like Miles would do like research on what you like and dislike, just so he could talk to you. Miles would freak out every time you did something adorable or hot.

-Now after the events of Into the spiderverse and he has become spider-man. As Spider-man, if there's any danger where you may be lingering, he might save you first. Miles's heart would break if you got injured. Miles would probably guilt-trip himself about your situation. -I feel like Miles would confess to you by texting you romantic music lyrics. If you liked him as well, Miles would freak out like, "W-wait? You like me too?! Uhm- Well I like you as well! So....does this mean we're dating now-? So uh date this friday or after school?"

-On the other hand, if you didn't feel the same way, Miles would play it off or be understanding like, "Oh I see....But can we still be friends tho?" Or "Oml, I just wanted to see if you knew the lyrics or not-". Either way he would be heart broken. (BUt let's not focus on the rejection part:))

-Dating Him- -I feel like he would be such a sweetheart but oh so shy. He's still young and he's got a lot to learn. He would be kind of awkward since you're his first relationship (and probably his last).

-Kisses with him are definitely quick at first, but he starts to kiss you on the lips more. But his favorite place to kiss you is probably your cheeks and forehead. He probably gives you quick pecks. I don't think Miles is all that comfortable with PDA, but he will hold your hand and give you pecks.

-If you're a civilian, he will definitely try to rescue you from any danger. If you also know his identity, expect to come through your window every night, with flowers in hand ofc. Ya'll would definitely do the iconic upside-down Spider kiss.

-But if you're also a spider-person, he would be ecstatic but also very worried. What if you get hurt badly? What if a villain kidnaps you? what if- Just reassure him that you'll be fine and give him a kiss. I mean- What's better than fighting a villain with partner who's also a spider?

-His friends would definitely know about you, whether you're a spider-person or not. Why? Cause he gushes so much about you. Gwen sometimes fake gags just because Miles is so lovestruck. Peter would tease him and say, "Ah...young love" with a proud grin. Pavatir would tease you two about being so in love with each other. Hobbie would tell them to cut it out and maybe give Miles some advice. And ganke already knows it:)

Rooftop dates are kind of common in your guy's relationship. After a long day of fighting crime, you and miles just wanna cuddle together on a rooftop and watch the stars. You guys would definitely have study dates and help each other out. You and Miles would make playlists for each other and listen to them together.

-If you're an artist as well, Miles would want your opinion in his artwork or his graffiti. Maybe do graffities together! Even if you can't do it, Miles can teach you! if you want to do it ofc. Miles would be respectful if you didn't want to show your art to him. But if you did show him your sketchbook, he would be complimenting you despite of your art style. Miles and you could give each other tips on how to make your art better.

-His parents would LOVE you, especially if you call them Mr or Mrs. Morales. (I swear- I was so shocked when gwen called them by their real names-). His mother would love you that you're making her son feel so loved. She would invite you sometimes for dinner and such. Miles is so glad that you're getting along with his mom. His dad definitely appreciates you that you and Miles are happy with each other.

-If you speak another language, he would definitely try and learn and maybe teach you some Spanish too. (If you aren't already familiar with the language and know how to speak it). His petnames for you would consist of some Spanish names like, Mi corazon,(My heart), Amor (love), Mi vida(My life) ,Mi alma (my soul), Mi amada (My beloved) and so on. (Trust me- I don't speak Spanish- So I hope I didn't say anything wrong over here-)

Sure you know about the entire Beanhead artstyle, the stuff people been booeing and hating back in 2015-2021-today due to its minimalistic look and repetitive use in most media. Anything to say regarding that?.

My explanation/rant got long haha (under the cut)

Like I get it, it's very prevalent nowadays, but every era of tv animation has a ~style~ that a good chunk of mainstream shows fall into. And if you reaaaally look at the entire catalogue of shows that have come out in the past decade, there's actually a good amount of variety. The problem is most people are just looking at the 5 most popular shows that are out at any given year.

And the reason for these styles being pushed is because they ARE appealing. Appealing to kids. The demographic of most of these shows. I think people forget that focus testing exists. Kids are the people who are streaming these shows, watching on cable and buying toys (or rather their parents). Networks aren't gonna cater to teens/young adults/a much smaller demographic who likely know how to find and watch the shows they like for free. And as much as it may seem like online fandom has an impact, networks won't notice unless it's reaaally benefitting them monetarily.

I understand that people may not like this style, and that's alright, but I take issue when creators and artists are attacked for it. Most of us don't even draw in the style of the shows we work on (ex. i work on big city greens, but draw mostly anime-esque stuff on my own time). I don't speak for all of us but I don't think it's a stretch to say that a good chunk of us would LOOOVE to pitch stuff or have shows with more variety in style. But at the end of the day, most of the stuff on mainstream tv is "a product" to be sold. It sounds cynical, but it's true, and networks are usually gonna play it safe and pick up stuff that has a winning formula, and part of that winning formula at the moment is this particular style.

I think people also fail to take into account that animation is hard lol. Simple designs mean easier animation. Most American studios unfortunately do not have in house animators and animation is done overseas. Because of this storyboards are hardly storyboards anymore. They're cleaned up key poses so that there's less room for error when shipping everything over. Those errors being hard to fix because 1. a lot of the time there's a language barrier, 2. it takes a long time and 3. it's expensive. Every artist on each end of the process is already overworked, so any way to make the process easier is ideal.

If people want to see different styles in animation, they gotta support the stuff that's different and trying something new! And support it more than the kids and said kids' parents who are being catered to. That means streaming said shows (legally), tuning in on cable, buying merch, etc. I know it's a lot to ask for, and not everyone, understandably, has the means to, but a lot of the time, networks/studios/companies see everything in black and white. If a show is not a complete success, then they will assume the problem is because it's not following that winning formula I was talking about earlier. Trying new things is a risk in their eyes.

It's not hopeless! Just look at Spiderverse and its impact on the style of animation we're currently seeing in feature/movies. Us artists WANT to do different stuff and make inspiring work, but we need that viewer support!

Hello! As a new spiderverse writer, I’m looking into writing for Pavitr but I don’t know how to go about it. I don’t want his sole personality to be that he’s Indian (maybe implications here and there but not overdoing it) so if you happen to have any advice please help. I don’t want to disrespect the culture.

hi anon! i think when you do mention the culture it should mainly be to do with the environment (if you're writing it in his earth) and ive got a link to a lovely guide here! mentioning in passing as things are happening is usually what i try to do. just a very subtle reminder that "by the way, he's in India!" and then move on with the story

if you want advice on what not to do, don't be like his comics where all he does is complain about mumbai traffic 😭 i can assure this boy loves his city and the traffic isn't his problem anyway when he can literally swing... try avoid clichés and jokes that have been said a million times like yes we know chai tea is tea tea by now!

if you want to write dialogue in one of the many languages spoken in india i personally don't recommend using translators... they're not very accurate especially for long phrases is all im saying 😭 i only include short phrases or words and not very often (usually terms of endearment or address) its not that big of a deal if you dont! i usually look on language forums or dictionaries though and see what translation pops up the most often

and about other personality aspects to focus on i like writing about his perfectionism sometimes as a flaw! i think he's also very playful and somewhat cocky but very much loves and cares for his friends and family. if you're stuck for ideas reading other people's pav fics / headcanons for inspiration could help!

“hey, kid, loving the cosplay— but can you get out?”

you shot your wrist at the ceiling and pulled yourself upside down to dangle, so you lay hanging like some spider. you eyed someone— a kid, probably about your age and dressed in the masculine version of your (custom made!!!) suit, holding their hands up and facing the slimey monster you were fighting. “damn,” you chuckled, pulling your back up to crawl on the ceiling, “i didn't know you could summon my lookalikes, villain I wish I knew the name of.”

“me neither,” your arch nemesis of the week responded, a tang of confusion in their own slime muffled voice, “i just thought you cloned yourself.”

“do I look like— nevermind.”

you had crawled up close enough to sling yourself in between your clone and mr. worship-my-calamity-causing-asshole, placing your hands on your hips, “dude, does it look like this town is big enough for the both of us?”

the spiderman you were frowning behind your mask at just tilted their head and shrugged. “i don't think it speaks,” the monster chimed in, before you shot a web at its mouth without glancing at it. ripples of slimey goo echoed in the room, causing a shudder to pass through your spine. “yeah, looks like it.”

then, it scoffed. “you're on my earth, girl.”

“your earth?” you laughed, “dude. are you high? take the kiddy costume off and go home.”

“if this was your earth,” the spiderman just sighed, throwing a beeping device at the monster, “you'd know that the slime cannot be shut up with your webs.”

you scoffed, turning around to face mr slimey, who had your web mouth muffler sliding down it's chin. “dude, he's perfectly silent—” before he blew up in your face. you blinked, turning around to the spiderman with twitching eyes.

“did you just kill him?”

“yeah, not your earth.”

“what the hell, dude!”

the spiderman pulled off his mask to wipe the slime that was covering the eyes, and you thought to yourself, “what the fuck?”

the dude was a god.

you blinked, eyeing him up and down, tingles in your head as he bent below to pick something up, his loose, overgrown hair falling before his eyes. and you shuddered, making him look up towards you. “like I said,” he cracked his fingers, a scowl on his features.

“I'm beomgyu, this earth's one and only spiderman.”
