Bugs in a bug circus? It's more likely than you'd think. More info under the cut.

So fun fact, Lampry was actually raised by a traveling miinu circus, and I finally got around to designing some of the troupe.

Peaberry is a transfem Peacock Spider who runs the show. She's boisterous and can dazzle a crowd, but she also runs a tight ship and can be a stickler for perfection, making sure everyone knows their routines so every show runs smoothly.

Picasso is a laid back clown who is nurturing and caring to the other members of the troupe. She's always trying to put a smile on people's face, while also making sure they are drinking enough water and taking breaks.

Singh is the oldest of the troupe and has a way with animals, and practically has a sixth sense with them. Don't ask him if he samples from them.

Ela and Eli are a brother and sister pair of acrobatic click beetles, always trying to show off and out compete each other.

After the German advance on 30 November 1917 during the Battle of Cambrai, the British counter-attacked on 1 December. 4th Battalion Grenadier Guards attempted to recapture Gonnelieu, just south of the Péronne-Cambrai road, south-west of Bonavis, which had fallen to the enemy the preceding day. During this action, Acting Captain G H T Paton commanded the support company. The attack failed but it prevented the Germans from advancing out of Gonnelieu. Meanwhile to the south, the British mounted several cavalry attacks south of Gauche Wood towards Villers-Guislain which had also been captured by the Germans the day before. One of these involved 2nd Lancers (Gardner’s Horse), 5th (Mhow) Cavalry Brigade.

They came under very heavy fire and were soon pinned down. Lance Dafadar Gobind Singh volunteered three times for carrying the messages over open ground under constant fire.First, he carried a report on the position to Brigade HQ and brought back the reply. He then carried another report back to the HQ but was refused permission to return to the front. His regiment eventually completed a successful withdrawal after nightfall.

Gobind Singh received the Victoria Cross, the highest British and Commonwealth award for gallantry in the face of the enemy.

How would one interject Battle Cat Jinx into an Arcanes setting?

She couldn't be cybernetic (I think she's cybernetic in her lore) so would it be... "realistic" to have Powder's genetic code altered like what happens with Warwick?

Like. Powder gets kidnapped off the street one day by some of Silco's goons, thinking she's a homeless orphan because she was digging through the junkyard by herself, and taken to Singh as a test subject.

But rather than turning her completely into a giant cat her ears become catlike, she grows retractable claws (is that what cats have? 🤔) and now has a tail and catlike tendacies.

Like with Warwick. Singh believes that she dies during one of her procedures and just dumps her body off somewhere, where she wakes up disoriented and confused because her memories are all over the place.

This would be where Vander finds her, he searches non-stop for his youngest when she goes missing, he takes her home and gets her looked over by a healer/doctor but everyone is confused AF about her appearance and they can't get any answers from Powder because she can't speak due to injuring her voice box.

I might chew on this concept a bit more and post a more coherent concept some other time.

Baba Buddha (6 October 1506 – 8 September 1631) was a prime figure in early Sikhism. He was born in 1506 in the village of Kathu Nangal, in Amritsar. As a child, while grazing cattle outside his village, he met Guru Nanak. He asked Guru Nanak many questions regarding life and death, such that, at his young age, Guru Nanak blessed him with name Buddha, as he spoke as if he were a wise elder. He was one of the earliest Sikhs of Guru Nanak. He performed the formal coronation ceremonies of five Sikh gurus; Guru Angad, Guru Amar Das, Guru Ram Das, Guru Arjan, and Guru Hargobind.

Religious Studies Term Of The Day: Singh

Hey everyone. Happy Saturday. Today I wanted to look at the last name “Singh” and it’s spiritual importance to the Sikh people. Singh is an Indian last name best translated as “Lion.” Many people in India or of Indian inherit this last name from their parents. Sikhs, a religion originally from the Punjab region of India, will have this last name more than any other group because they attach spiritual significance to the last name. In fact, typically, any male child born into the Sikh faith will be given the last name Singh. This was a tradition that Guru Gobind Singh, who called forward the panj piare, the Lovely Five, and started the Khalsa with many new distinctive factors, including changing his own name and the names of the panj piare to Singh. This was to emphasize their loyalty to the guru and their willingness to fight as lions to protect him, or it as the current Guru stands. The implies that faith is so important to the Sikh people, so much so that it is their identity through and through, but of course individual tastes may vary in this communal tradition.
