Anakin was crying when he told Padme that he genocided the Tuskens. He told her he hated them but he also hated himself.
Star wars is a tragedy because every time you watch it, you think maybe in the back of your mind " it could have been otherwise".Anakin was brilliant and had the potential to be a great person but ended up being one of the worst ones. And he knew it too deep down in his heart but suppressed it as Darth Vader.
Yoda said once you go down the dark path, it will forever dominate your destiny. Anakin believed that there was no coming back. Of course, both omitted the power of love, a power both predictable and unpredictable at the same time.

It’s all ‘is Tech alive this’, ‘is Tech alive that’. I’m still waiting to find out what happened to this icon.

I’m rewatching Mandalorian and wow I love how this show de-villified the Tusken raiders/sand people.
They’re still portrayed as a brutal group, and their attacks and killings aren’t ignored, but The Mandalorian gives them layers that were never shown in the movies. We get to see them conduct trade, protect each other, and struggle with the more dangerous aspects of the desert. They have a rich history. They have their own sign language. They have pet dogs. And suddenly they seem like people instead of monsters.

It’s a great reminder that just because you can’t see someone’s face, doesn’t mean they don’t have one. Which I guess is fitting for a show with a main character whose face is always hidden.

I thought it was the Teamsters or the mob… Never would’ve thought it was the sand people!

I'm slowly making my way through all of the 3rd Life vids and I'm currently watching Ren's series for the first time. Hearing red-named-Scar threaten Ren over the enchanter is genuinely scary, especially because you can hear the smile on his face as he's threatening Ren.
"Ren. I've sweetened the pot for the enchanter. I will not kill you or your...partner. And I will give you a friendship coupon for the enchanter."
"So, friendship coupon and no death."
"He's on the payroll! Disposable, as some would even say."
Terrifying, I love it.
