'Ain Samiya goblet
In a tomb at Ain Samiya, close to present day Ramallah, Palestine, a silver cup from the Middle Bronze Age I (2300-2000 BC) was discovered. It is known as the "Ain Samiya Goblet." It shows a double-headed god planting crops with an animal body and holding parts of a dead serpent with two male figures. The scenes are said to show a draft of the Enuma Elish, the babylonian creation epic, and the victory of Marduk, the patron god of Babylon, over Tiamat. The goblet bears similarities to modern representations of the Babylonian captivity, such as the Khafaje plaque, and exhibits evident Mesopotamian influences on Proto-Canaanite culture.

As a general rule I recommend not owing favours to someone who tells you how nice your blood smells.

7, 38, 42 for an OC Of Your Choice.
7: does finch have any unusual fears?
jackals, or anything related like dogs or wolves, put her on edge at the very least. jackals are considered bad omens in her culture, and it doesn't help that she's never met a canine that seemed to like her.
38: what are sami's dreams like? do they have any recurring dreams/nightmares?
boy do they ever. uh. the cloning process that created them also included a "subjectivity override," which is a polite way of saying a bunch of memories from their genetic donor's brain shoved into their own, in order to expedite making them a functional human person. they semi-frequently have dreams involving bits and pieces of these memories they've never actually experienced. not a good time for them.
42: can senya speak multiple languages? if so, which do they speak and why?
she was taught common as a child, largely against her will, although seemed to innately understand infernal as a tiefling. she's also picked up sylvan in order to understand the fey, given she's had more than enough trouble with them already.

Samiya Vs. Claudia - First Strike

Character Claudia Synderson, Samiya © @CentaurWorks
On a fateful evening, Claudia caught a glimpse from her eye a familiar figure. Giving chase, she slowly creeps up and her and discovers who she is. Samiya, known to a very rare few as a figure that changes others into genies, and the one that changed Claudia into the genie that she is today. In a fit of rage and as she moves into an allyway, she goes to strile her, to inflict pain for making her being a genie slave for more than a century. But when Claudia connected her hit, she soon learned quickly how out of her league she was.
This is probably one of the few times I end up creating an image but not really all too thrilled with the end product. Like several elements feel off from what was in my head. I think it's also evident that I'm not too use to action-related images. But this is a better step-forward compared to the previous tries in the past. I also really like how I was able to do the shading this time around, adding more experience towards a cel-shaded style. If I can just keep working on this, I have a feeling I can make better action scenes within my artwork.
