SAINTS OF THE DAY (February 17)
The Seven Holy Founders of the Servite Order were seven men from the town of Florence who became bound to each other in a spiritual friendship.
The Seven Holy Founders are Saints Bonfilius, Alexis Falconieri, John Bonagiunta, Benedict dell'Antella, Bartholomew Amidei, Gerard Sostegni, and Ricoverus Uguccione.
They led lives as hermits on Monte Senario. They had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
On Friday, 13 April 1240, the hermits received a vision of Our Lady.
She held in her hand a black habit, and a nearby angel bore a scroll reading "Servants of Mary."
Mary told them:
"You will found a new order, and you will be my witnesses throughout the world. This is your name: Servants of Mary.
This is your rule: that of Saint Augustine.
And here is your distinctive sign: the black scapular, in memory of my sufferings."
They accepted the wisdom of Our Lady, wrote a Rule based on Saint Augustine and the Dominican Constitutions, adopted the black habit of an Augustinian monk, and lived as mendicant friars.
The men founded the Order of Servites, which received the approval of the Holy See in 1304.
Servite, a Roman Catholic order of mendicant friars — religious men who lead a monastic life, including the choral recitation of the liturgical office, but do active work — founded in 1233 by a group of seven cloth merchants of Florence.
They are venerated on February 17 because it is said to be the day on which Saint Alexis Falconieri, one of the seven, died in 1310.
All seven were beatified on 1 December 1717 by Pope Clement XI. They were canonized by Pope Leo XIII on 15 January 1888.

We’re celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day in a big way, with one of the largest known deer: the Irish Elk (Megaloceros giganteus)! It was originally discovered in bog deposits in Ireland. This megafauna could weigh up to 1,500 pounds (680 kg) and its antlers could reach an incredible 13-ft- (4-m-) spread. Once ranging from western Europe to China, this animal died out some 10,000 years ago. However, at least one population, living in Russia’s Ural Mountains, managed to survive until about 7,770 years ago, long after the end of the Pleistocene.
See the Irish Elk up close in the Museum’s Hall of Advanced Mammals! We’re open daily from 10 am-5:30 pm. Plan your visit.

Decided to finish this one for Valentine's Day, but got it ready too early so I decided to post it anyways, maybe I will make something new for Valentine.
COORIER is based on the Luzon Bleeding-Heart (Gallicolumba luzonica) mixed with a Mailman/Delivery Courier
It has the ability Overcoat as a reference to the phrase “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds” often associated with the postal office

There are a lot of adults going to church today who are going to be Pikachu-face surprised when they get to judgment and are handed a millstone to place around their necks because of how unsafe they've made this world for children.

SAINTS OF THE DAY (September 29)
The three Archangels — Michael, Gabriel and Raphael — are the only angels named in Sacred Scripture and all three have important roles in the history of salvation.
Saint Michael is the "Prince of the Heavenly Host," the leader of all the angels.
His name is Hebrew for "Who is like God?" and was the battle cry of the good angels against Lucifer and his followers when they rebelled against God.
He is mentioned four times in the Bible — in Daniel 10 and 12, in the letter of Jude, and in Revelation.
Saint Michael, whose forces cast down Lucifer and the evil spirits into Hell, is invoked for protection against Satan and all evil.
In 1899, Pope Leo XIII, having had a prophetic vision of the evil that would be inflicted upon the Church and the world in the 20th century, instituted a prayer asking for Saint Michael's protection to be said at the end of every Mass.
Christian tradition recognizes four offices of Saint Michael:
(i) to fight against Satan;
(ii) to rescue the souls of the faithful from the power of the enemy, especially at the hour of death;
(iii) to be the champion of God's people;
(iv) to call away from earth and bring men's souls to judgment.
"I am Gabriel, who stand before God." (Luke 1, 19)
Saint Gabriel, whose name means "God's strength," is mentioned four times in the Bible.
Most significant are Gabriel's two mentions in the New Testament:
1) to announce the birth of John the Baptist to his father Zacharias;
2) the Incarnation of the Word in the womb of Mary.
Christian tradition suggests that it is he who appeared to St. Joseph and to the shepherds.
Additionally, it was he who "strengthened" Jesus during his agony in the garden of Gethsemane.
"I am the angel Raphael, one of the seven, who stand before the Lord" (Tob 12:15)
Saint Raphael's name means "God has healed" due to his healing of Tobias' blindness in the Book of Tobit.
Tobit is the only book in which he is mentioned.
His office is generally accepted by tradition to be that of healing and acts of mercy.
Raphael is also identified with the angel in John 5:1-4 who descended upon the pond and bestowed healing powers upon it so that the first to enter it after it moved would be healed of whatever infirmity he was suffering.
