I don’t know who needs to hear this, but wanting to leave a relationship because of your partner yelling/shouting/screaming at you during arguments, that is a perfectly fine thing to do (re: leave the relationship)

You don’t need them to be physically abusive. Even if you think they aren’t being verbally abusive to you, you being uncomfortable with how they talk to you is perfectly adequate for walking out the door (especially if you have expressed that concern to them and they have not or refused to understand).

Coming from someone who grew up in households filled with screaming, shouting, and yelling, trust me when I say it will make your life so much better without it
