So, I did some Rivendell-based incorrect quotes doodles a while back. Presenting:

Thranduil is in town for a visit and Glorfindel happens to be showing him around.

Erestor will find a way to make an overworked Elrond listen to his advice.

A semi-newly returned Glorfindel gets ready for his day.

#As for why Glorfindel wants to know how petty he can be to Thranduil? Not sure on that one #If anyone would like to propose an answer I would love to hear it! #I like to think I'm funny with these - it all started with doodle 3 because I couldn't not draw Glorfindel with that incorrect quote #And then it spiraled from there. Haven't posted any drawings because of this.... My eldest asking me if I can finish her bracelet.... . . Rant ahead... I've had sad experiences 🤣 with DIY bracelets. Waaaaaaay back in elementary school when kisses (air fresheners) and cheap junk jewelry were our thing, the nylon strings became quite the trend. It's similar to the loom band thing though it wasn't as big.. it's basically macrame using plastic. Anyway, peddlers would park their wares of nylon strings arranged by color and you can make bracelets or purchased ready made ones. They would teach a girl or two the pattern and those girls would teach their friends... SPOILER: I didn't have friends, apparently lol. No one taught me the pattern or gave me a bracelet 🤣 when I asked one girl to show me, she said it was too complicated to teach😅... End point, I learned to do it myself and some girls gave me their rejected strings... I never learned how to lock it properly, though so I just end up with this weird bookmark in a strange color combo that could've been a bracelet... thankfully, the trend faded. I did have a friend but we bought matching beaded bracelets. Thanks, @iheartmaye for being a friend to a loner like me. I did have other friends but realized I was much closer to the guys (Charles and Lawrence - 5th and 6th, JP -6th, Raphael 3rd-4th grades)... Marielle was my only friend bahahaha. Met BiJeh, thankfully, 2nd year highschool... Loisa as well... More guys, my now hubby, and Gabe. Radjes. 3rd year St. Jerome, the whole section seemed like a really chill family... Sometimes your mind wanders while drawing characters hugging and you wonder: "What if Glorfindel ended up back in Valinor again, talked his way into going back to Middle Earth a second time, and then he decided to smuggle Ecthelion back with him?"

This was followed up with: "It would be funny if they were really bad at it."

Please accept some Tron doodles set once again in some universe in which Kevin Flynn decided that maybe this whole 'people can be digitized' thing should be shared and brought Alan (and Lora, and Roy) in to help him. (Thank you to @graedari for allowing me to use her wonderful grid armor design for Flynn!)

I've got some description and some close-ups under the cut, because why not, right?

These doodles are featuring:

Flynn secretly watching the (non-lethal, totally friendly competition) grid games as they were intended to be. I kinda like to imagine the grid games when all was peaceful were kinda like the games in the Tron Evolution Battle Grids game (the Wii game, if anyone else had that) where anyone could compete and all was friendly. Flynn would totally sneak into that from time to time so he could watch without drawing attention to himself -- or maybe he was competing and is watching while waiting for his next turn.

A full reference for Alan's grid armor, further demonstrating my inability to draw Alan without his hands in his pockets. (It really wasn't intentional, I just keep ending up with reference photos of him or people standing like that, somehow.) But I thought it was fun to remember how I took inspiration from Tron's Legacy design, Jet's design in Tron 2.0, and Alan's regular outfits to make him a grid outfit.

Story-time in Rivendell with Uncle Glorfindel! Elladan and Elrohir absolutely love going out adventuring early and listening to stories of old when offered the opportunity.

(Hopefully Glorfindel chose something more appropriate than the balrog story, this time.)

This piece is intended to be a panel of a comic that as of yet lives in my head, but it stands on its own (and I'm impatient), so I thought I'd share this as it is now

Sam and Jet thought it would be great fun to make a tank-shaped rock pile. Innocent enough, Tron thought, so why not let them do it?

Oh, how wrong he was.

Turns out, two child users have just as much power as Flynn, and this absolutely includes giving function to a tank-shaped rock pile. Tron will be having words with Flynn later for being left to deal with this.

This started out as a doodle of Elrond, but then he looked lonely on his own. And so like the reasonable person I am, I drew him the rest of his immediate family instead of sleeping

Sometimes you look at the Band on the Run album cover for a second too long and you get ideas... Ideas like continuing your drawings of Glorfindel being really bad at trying to sneak Ecthelion out of Valinor and back to Middle Earth with him.

In this attempt, we have Glorfindel and Ecthelion deciding that their inexperience with boats means nothing, they can totally row a boat* back to Middle Earth themselves. And then they promptly got caught.
