The Hap Sídhe

Common pixie-like spirits. They're good-humoured and incredibly curious, despite being shy.

Travellers may see regular butterflies and ignore them, unaware that they're being observed by the Hap Sídhe. Especially lucky travellers might get to see them up-close, only once they've proven their good-nature to the fairies, after which they're extremely friendly.

Seeing the Hap Sídhe is a sign of good fortune and happiness.

Toilette de courses. Jupe en faye vert Nil, sans garnitures. Tunique en cachemire de l'Inde de même couleur, ouverte par derrière et se croisant, sous une agrafe tenant à une chaîne d'argent. Grande poche-portefeuille carrée, placée très-bas. La tunique est entièrement bordée de trois lacets d'argent. Corsage avec basques, retenu par une ceinture de cuir vert, incrustée d'argent. Les lacets d'argent simulent un capuchon pointu et des revers repliés sur les manches et les basques du dos.

Toilette de promenade. Jupon en faye, nuance tourterelle foncée, garnie d'un large volant plissé que surmontent par derrière plusieurs rangées de grands plis. Tunique en livonienne, nuance tourterelle plus claire que le jupon, se boutonnant sur le côté. La garniture se compose de plusieurs biais de faye pareille au jupon et d'une frange treillagée des deux teintes. Casaque pareille à la tunique. Le devant de droite forme un angle très-prononcé, qui croise largement pour se boutonner. Plastron en faye de même teinte que le jupon; manches pareilles au corsage avec sous-manches pareilles au jupon.

Ensemble for the races. Nile green faye skirt, without trimmings. Indian cashmere tunic of the same color, open at the back and crossing, under a clasp holding on to a silver chain. Large square wallet pocket, placed very low. The tunic is entirely bordered with three silver laces. Bodice with basques, held by a green leather belt, inlaid with silver. Silver laces simulate a pointed hood and folded cuffs on the sleeves and back peplums.

Walking ensemble. Petticoat in faye, dark dove shade, trimmed with a large pleated flounce topped by several rows of large pleats from behind. Livonian tunic, dove shade lighter than the petticoat, buttoning on the side. The trim consists of several faye biases similar to the petticoat and a trellised fringe of both shades. Coat similar to the tunic. The right front forms a very pronounced angle, which crosses widely to button. Faye bib of the same color as the petticoat; sleeves similar to the bodice with under-sleeves similar to the petticoat.
