Jasmine Al Ghul

A while ago the perfect assassin was born, she was Talia's daughter but Ra didn't like the rebellious look in her eyes, they were claiming for destruction and he knew that she would do nothing but destroy the League as soon as she could.

So he rejected her as the heir, something Jazz grew to resent. When the twins Danyal and Damian were born, one was clearly weaker than the other, considering that he was born without breathing and was only saved at the last second.

This made Ra make his decision: Damian would be the heir and Danyal his shadow. But Danyal wasn't interested in killing, no matter how much he was punished for refusing, he wanted to see, to explore, to learn. Everyone could see it.

Because Damian was spending more time on heir training, Jazz devoted herself to taking care of Danyal. She tried to teach him but the boy kept refusing, failing over and over again in the most simply things, Jazz hated him.

Until she stopped hating and became fond of him, feeling a kinship because of their grandfather's rejection. Danny taught Jazz things she had never considered (love, stars, a new interest far away from training, find the meaning of life simply by living) and she made her decision: she would save the boy.

Jazz escaped with Maddie Fenton (one of Talia's students) seeing she wantes to save them too and could pass as their mother, she took Danny with her. She couldn't leave him in that place, she wouldn't forgive herself.

Of course, Damian grew to resent his younger twin for taking their sister away. Blaming him for being weak, why did Jazz leave him behind? He could be a good little brother too, he was better than Danyal! In everything!

So I touched on this on someone else's post but I'm sorry why is Talia always homophobic.

Her dad is old as fuck and bi as shit. Same with her she probably slept with Selina to get back at Bruce. Ra has seen entire countries fall and built more. He would not care about race, sex, or who you go to bed with.

He respects power and intelligence which can be found with anyone no matter who they are.

DC X DP fic idea: Phantom's number 1 fan

Danny is used to his classmates cheering for him. Well, he's used to them cheering on his ghost side, but it's the same thing.

He's a small time celebrity in the eyes of Amity Park youth. Almost everyone as Casper High adores Phantom- even the A-listers.

Ironically enough, the A-listers are some of the few who claim to be in love with Phantom. Even Dash, after the quarter back publicly came out.

Almost all of them still pick on Danny, even now as seniors. He never quite fit in even after all these years. Still pushed into lockers, mocked by classmates and deemed the number one loser again and again.

He stopped trying to fit in years ago when he became a halfa and focused on being a hero. He's gotten better now, as ghosts are less likely to challenge him. Apparently, being able to beat Pariah Dark in single combat spooked many spirits.

He instead focuses on worldwide natural disasters. With the new power to create portals to the Ghost zone as a shortcut to any part of the world, he could jump to emergencies as simplyas walking through a door.

He took some field medic lessons from Frost Bite and was on his way.

He started with search and rescue during a Tsunami. Then earthquakes, tornadoes, and even lightning storms. His parents knew and were proud of him every time Phantom appear on TV. His friends encouraged him to pressure a medical career. Danny was seriously considering it.

No one besides those he loved knew he and Phantom were one in the same.

Life was good.

That is until one stormy night when Tim Drake came knocking. The other 17-year-old stood on his porch drenched to his socks, clutching a really well taken photot of Phantom and a manic glint in his eye.

"Can I have your autograph, Danny? Im your number one fan!"

Before Danny could even think of a response, Drake tilted forward, smacking face first on the ground.

If you were to ask Tim what was he thinking ge would say " I wasn't"

See, Tim had been one of the first Phantom rescued from the giant Tsunami that Riddler had unleashed on Gotham all those years ago. His heart had been the ghost ever since. And much like all other puzzles and mysteries, it didn't take Tim long to connect Phantom and Fenton.

Seeing as Danny Fenton wanted nothing to do with the Justice League or to join any other hero team he left him alone, admiring him from afar.

Then the mission Ra al Gul happened.

He had been running on fumes, and in Tim's sleep-deprived mind, the thought of stopping in Amity Park on the way back from a mission to ask for his long-time hero and crushes autograph was the perfect idea.

So he landed the batplane, switched in civilians and knocked on the door with his heart in his hand. And the three stab wounds on his back, his broken rib and black eye.

Thankfully Danny was willing to drag him inside for medical aid.

Kon: Yeah but getting My Timmy to not talk to crazy assassin cult leaders is something you have to build up to, yaknow?

Bruce: Unfortunately. What would it take to have this behavior move up the priority list?

Bruce: Done.

The family still lives in the Wayne manor, but it has been renovated to become larger with Arabic style architecture.

The batcave is no longer there, replaced by an underground Al Gul base, with only one batsuit to display. Damian keeps it as a showcase. A trophy that Ra's once told him to win.

Surprisingly Damian buried Bruce next to Thomas and Martha Wayne. The Wayne graves are still where they were originally. Still intact. (Damian tells his servants to tend to it)

The Riddler

Platonic? Joker. Do not associate with that buffoon, you're HIS friend. Zsasz it's mild disapproval because of his weird bullshit. Croc because of some past jealousy issues, but he'd get past that.

Romantic? hoo-boy. Lowkey he gets a little jealous of a lot of his peers because despite the image he wants to put out there, he is so self-conscious and petty. Might end up getting a little shitty about it unintentionally if it's too much time spent with them. Definitely something that would need to have a sincere conversation about how that's not okay but also you're the person he wants.

Penguin

Platonic? Perhaps some of his more charismatic peers, but it would be really easy for him to get past it.

Romantic? His "pretty"/charming peers- i.e. poison ivy, Riddler, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn. He wouldn't get to a toxic or shitty point with it, but you might notice him grumping about and getting self-deprecating. It's happened before, you know. Someone using him and then hopping to someone beautiful as soon as the better opportunity arose.

Mad Hatter

Platonic? Zsasz, eugh. Does anyone like him? A lot of that is because Zsasz is possessive and plays for keeps. More worried Zsasz would do something rather than you not being his friend anymore. Black Mask because Roman thinks Jervis is "goofy" and "ridiculous" so Jervis would worry you think that too.

Romantic? No one and also everyone. If it's any of his faithful comrades, he's actually really chill about it. All of you are friends! Especially Jon. If you wanted to kiss Jon, it's alright as long as Jervis is also there. Strangers though? He's hissing, hackles raised and draping his body over you until he's established they aren't trying to steal you away.

Scarecrow

Platonic? Music Meister simply because Clarence is a fun time but not like. A pain in the ass like some others in the gallery. Joker he'd genuinely consider fucking that man's day up.

Romantic? Jonathan isn't really the romantic jealous type. He could joke around about it, but genuinely he's older, been through a lot and if you wanted to leave him, you would. He would get possessive if one of them hit on you, though. Edward might try it just to get on his nerves so he has to straighten that shit out.

Victor Zsasz

Platonic? No one.

Romantic? You're his. He doesn't think of it as jealousy. He thinks of it more like... disliking other people trying to play with his favorite toy. It sure fucking looks like jealousy, though. He wonders if you'd be opposed to him carving his initials into your hip? No? That's fine. he'll definitely be carving someone if the others don't back off, though. Particularly that Scarecrow fellow. Too much psychobabble.

Killer Croc

Platonic? He's not crazy about that Black Mask. Way too much of a rich prick.

Romantic? Ra's al gul because of how well-spoken he is. Worldly. Who wouldn't want to be with that guy besides the whole weird pit thing? To a way lesser degree, Bane sometimes? Bane is his friend so it wouldn't get awkward or anything but the guy is incredibly intelligent AND just as strong. Makes you feel a little lacking sometimes.

Harley Quinn

Platonic? Joker. Fuck that guy. Straight up tells him politely to fuck off, you don't need his bullshit. Gets mama bear protective as your friend. Ra's al gul also kind of creeps her out.

Romantic? Joker. If it came up, she would make it very clear she's not jealous of you, she's jealous of him- There's no feelings for him anymore but she'll be damned if he gets his claws into you. She knows how he can manipulate things. Bane if only because she kind of thinks he's hot.

Poison Ivy

Platonic? Joker. Fuck that guy. She'll make it clear she disapproves and probably threatens him if he gets too chummy. Black Mask but mostly because of how he dislikes Harley.

Romantic? Joker. After everything with Harley, she'll murder the clown if he tries getting some level of closeness to you while you're in a relationship. Mr. Freeze because there's something so charming and alluring about him. Sensitive. Maybe to some extent Selina only because she's so beautiful.

Two-Face

Platonic? Harv doesn't like Riddler much and hates Joker even more. Snakes in the grass. Harvey doesn't mind Edward but is in agreement about Joker.

Romantic? This might come as a shock but- Penguin. They actually find Oswald charming and enjoyable to be around to an extent, so if you were to get a little too friendly, they might need some reassurance. Riddler again with Harv specifically because of his charm and looks.

Black Mask

Platonic? Harley Quinn. She's way too fun and bubbly, he'd be paranoid about her turning you against him.

Romantic? Again Harley Quinn, same reasons. Poison Ivy since she fucks with people's head plus attractive. Catwoman and Riddler because of the looks department. Anyone who looks at you longer than a minute. Maybe if he put a collar on you or a tattoo, people would get the fucking hint. Or fuck you high up in public where they can see. That'll teach them.

Mr. Freeze

Platonic? Poison Ivy. They've had some run-ins before where Pamela got a little too Close and then got stabbed in the back so he'd definitely be jealous and on edge that she'll do it to you.

Romantic? hahahahahhahahahha. Look, Victor has a LOT of issues in the romance department. The truth of the matter is, he gets easily jealous because he's had the greatest love of his life ripped from him without warning. It doesn't make it okay or healthy, but it is a truth. Almost everyone on the rogues gallery barring perhaps Ra's and Zsasz are potentials for stealing you away. He doesn't get a certain way with you, obviously you're not the problem. It's everyone else.

Ra's al Ghul

Platonic? While there isn't anyone in particular he's jealous about, per say, he might wonder if you prefer the company of the more... lively personalities such as Riddler and Mad Hatter if you spend a lot of time with them.

Romantic? Where Edward plays up his swagger and confidence, Ra's actually has it. Why should he worry? You would be a fool to leave him. You would be a bigger fool to cheat on him, for both you and a hypothetical lover. And despite it not being a fear of his, he makes it clear he would find out should the topic come up.

Bane

Platonic? Doesn't feel a need to be jealous over compatriots. He doesn't own your friendship. Will disapprove of Joker or like. Condiment Man or something. Idiocy.

Romantic? Penguin because he recognizes the threat that man could really be if he wanted. Poison Ivy because of her immense allure. Doesn't get super jealous, but definitely casts some side eye if people get too close.

The Blood-Dripped Crown

(Medieval Reverse Robins/Background information)

Part one: The Kingdom of Shadow bird

Before there was the kingdom of Shadow of Birds there were two separate kingdoms Fallen Shadow ruled by Ras al Gul and Rising Bird Ruled by Thomas and Martha Wayne. For many years these two kingdoms had been at war but it came to an end with a treaty and agreement still unknown by most. Due to old law, Talia and Bruce were forced into an arranged marriage to bind the kingdoms to each other. While it was his duty to marry Talia, Bruce told her he would break off the engagement if that was what she wished. She declined and the two were married and thought it was not in the plan they fell in love.

With their marriage, the crowns of each kingdom were passed down and the two kingdoms merged into one with Bruce as the King and Talia as the Queen. They ruled together as Partners hoping to ensure unity among the new kingdom. However, relations were rocky as the two former kingdoms divided themselves. Ras's Former subjects were called Fallen Shadows and the others were Rising Birds. Fallen Shadows were seen as harsh and gloomy while Rising Birds were weak and foolishly optimistic.

Fallen Shadow had been an assassin Kingdom with each of its subjects trained in the art of killing since birth. When the two Kingdoms were joined Assassins trained a rift among the people and noticed from the eyes of the world. So Bruce put in place a Kight regimen consisting of people for both former kingdoms. Ras disapproved of how his daughter and son-in-law ruled his old Kingdom, demanding that they reintroduce assassin training to the whole kingdom. When they refused he announced that he would reestablish the kingdom of Fallen Shadow taking any who had wished to Join him. While any Fallen Shadows did accept his invention most stayed loyal to their Queen even if they disapproved of the King. Ras took the ones who would join him and moved on leaving Shadow Bird even more divided.

With the Kingdom barely held together all eyes were on Bruce and Talia. As Royals, there was a lot of pressure for them to conceive an heir, especially with relations among the subjects so rocky. Talia soon became pregnant and gave birth to a son named Damian. With the birth of the prince came the unity that Bruce and Talia had fought so hard for. It may have not been great but it was there. Over the years the bond would grow until they acted as one kingdom sadly this would all come to a halt.

Seven years after the birth of the prince Ras made his move attacking one of Shadow Birds alleys. The battle was brutal. most of the defending kingdom was slayed including the King and Queen. The few survivors were taken in as prisoners, one of them being a young prince that Ras planned to raise as an heir.

Bruce and Talia knew they had to put an end to Ras's rule or they would lose their own kingdom. So Bruce got his Knights ready for war but Talia knew they would be highly out manned so she went to her people and asked them to use their former training. Talia led the charge and after a blood-filled battle, Ras was captured. He was blinded and banshee from the kingdom and his subjects returned to Shadowbird along with his heir whom Bruce took in as his own. Those who had returned were looked upon with suspicion. Rumors spread among the kingdom and the unity of Shadow Bird was once again rocky.

Blob ghosts and the Lazarus pits

May be subject to change as I just woke up.

So before I go into the study of Blob ghost's relation to the pits I should probably analyze the pits themselves.

Taking a note from various theories, I'm gonna go ahead and say the pits are natural portals to the GZ. But since these don't close I'm gonna do a step further and say these are the pores of the infinite realms!

Portals that open in the GZ but they close SLOWLY, making it seem like they don't close at all. And while they're closing, excess ectoplasm pools around it, making the pits we know today!

And of course, the longer the pits were exposed to negative emotions and various contaminants, the more dirty and corrupted it became.

The solution? Blob ghosts! The feeder fish of the ghost zone! There are dozens of them in every pit!

Now about the blob ghosts, is that they adore helping people and ghosts alike. Hungry ghosts? Free snack! Sick ghost? *vacuum noises*

So when this random human fell in, looking sickly? Free roomie!

And that's how Ra's al gul found 'immortality'. Although what the blob ghost really did was get rid of whatever was ailing him and replace anything that needed to be replaced.

The more Lazarus pit baths he has? The more parts get replaced by blob ghosts. He'd probably be 80% blob ghosts by the time he realizes this fact.

So what about Jason?

Well if my Intel is correct, TECHNICALLY it wasn't the pits that revived him at first. It was someone more or less punching someone with enough power to essentially revive Jason! (I think it was super boy??? I can't remember??)

But Jason was a zombie at that point. No core, no ghost. Until the dip into the pits where Johnny 13 got yeeted back into his old body.

And a body suddenly gaining a core? At least a year after death? The body would attempt to reject the core! And that's where the blob ghost comes in!

Making an ectoplasmic vein and nervous system, the blob ghost wraps around Jason's core and got comfortable! :)

Danielle is NOT Anastasia's Clone

I have a drabble about this that will end up on AO3 at some point, but here's the concept.

Anastasia al Gul is an actual DC character that is Damian's twin sister and who doesn't exist in most universes. Danyl was the true name of Damian's twin, a secret just between the two of them. Damian meets Dani and almost goes nuclear at the thought of Ra's cloning his dead twin. Elle is insulted because her dad is way cooler than Robin's twin sister could have ever been.

In this verse Danny was a full ghost haunting Amity Park who happened to befriend 3 teenage outcasts. One of them being the daughter of the town kooks who was willing to take the others on a brief tour of her parents lab. The portal resurrects Danny as a half ghost and the future Team Phantom gaslights, gatekeeps, girl bosses the entire town, including Jack and Maddie, into believing the Fentons have always had a son. Since a ghost's appearence is strongly dependent on self image, Danny gets to be a guy without worrying about hormones or surgery and it somehow sticks when he gets his human form. However, he is still genetically female hence Elle being a girl.

I like to think Damian and Elle meeting is due to her coming to Gotham to give Aunt Jazz's new boyfriend, Jay something, a shovel talk. There is much yelling, some brief rational talk courtesy of Jazz, a DNA test, louder yelling and much confusion. Danny arrives in the Batcave to find himself face to face with his twin brother for the first time in almost a decade only to find Damian is shorter than his clone-daughter.

As it turns out Danny was worse at keeping track of time in the Zone than he thought and is now almost 5 years older than his twin.

The more I learn about Damians family the more bewildered and impressed I become. How many ladies are in this family?! Like canonically? Its starting to sound like Ras has a small army of Amazon-ish warriors and wanted a male heir due to sheer sexism.

How would Ras take this anyway? Would he be transphobic and keep referring to him by his dead name or would he consider it a "blessing from Lazarus" or whatever?

I'm on the blessing side because I might know nothing about transition surgery but it sounds like it would be expensive.

It will take some time for them to accept the friendship. Ra's and the reader have parties, movie nights, and shopping sprees. Pinkin participates in sporting and racing events. Everyone out there thinks they're relatives. Ra's is protective of the reader. Damiana begs the reader to pay attention. They spend fun times by training with the reader.

Yesterday, on July 24th 2022, veteran character actor David Warner passed away from cancer at the age of 80, which he had been diagnosed with 18 months earlier. He will be missed.

It's Anger Management except Talia Al Gul learns of the Ghost Portal and sends Jason to investigate, after he finds enough information he sends it to Talia. The League of Assassin's then abducts Madeline and Jack Fenton with the end goal being to have them build Ras a better yet transportable Lazerus Pit based on their Ghost Portal designs, Jason is left an unknowing Pawn and is abandoned in Amity Park to take the fall. Jazz pulls a Hail Mary, which Vlad actually comments about, and psychoanalyes Jason.

It takes some rehabilitation, which Vlad uses the time to search for Madeline and Jack in the meantime, but Jazz is able to bring Jason "Robin #2" Hood out of the shadows of his impromptu rebirth. Jason all but latches on to Jazz as a result

I assume this is around the time Jason is part of the League of Assassins?

I think it would be interesting seeing her work him through the whole situation. Depending on the canon you stick with - or if you even stick to any canon at all - he could be deeply brainwashed/catatonic or consumed by revenge to think clearly.

Honestly I don't think Jason would "latch onto" Jazz, on the principle that he has always been a very independent kid due to his life circumstances; but would at first stay so he could lay low in case Talia came back to tie loose ends (aka kill him) and then enjoy his stay so much he won't mind delaying his next steps, whatever they may be.

It could be interesting if Jazz, Danny and Team Phantom manage to get some of the ghosts' help to fight anyone that comes after Jason. He is one of them (Team Phantom) now, they protect their own.

This sounds fun! A nice scenario to explore a younger Jason befriending Jazz and Danny and maybe some 'high school sweethearts' romance with Jazz!

DP HC - Ambient Psychomagnotheric Residue Theory

I just saw a picture that really fits with my hc of Ambient Psychomagnotheric Residue.

It appears to be by @menta-art.

The fact that it looks like this suggests that something bad must've happened there... possibly multiple times... & the emotional residue in the area hadn't been purified or filtered in a long time, leading to the negative emotions caused by whatever happened to fester there & become a sort of spiritual rot.

Which is usually the reason why places without specific ghosts or spirits haunting them become haunted.

It's basically what I mean when I talk about how natural portals are necessary as they filter out used up ambient emotional & psychic energy so that things like this don't happen.

Like, you know how some places just instill you with a feeling of dread or hopelessness at the scenes of murders or great, tragic battles? It's due to a portal not having opened in the area in a long time or in the case of a huge & particularly tragic battle or multiple tragedies over a long period of time, not enough portals have opened there to fully purify the area or even keep up with the level of tragedy.

And, if this residue remains for too long, it can fester & become what the Japanese refer to as On'nen (怨念) or Malice. On'nen is a feeling of unresloved hatred, malice, grudge, & resentment that can make ordinary spirits furious & evil ones even more so.

If it remains like that longer & grows, it can further process itself until it manifests into an ever purer form known as Miasma or Shōki. Shōki being a sort of harmful, malignant spiritual pollution. It is never a good thing when this happens.

Anyway, it's extremely likely that places like Chicago, Gotham (especially places like Crime Alley & Arkham Assylum), Bludhaven, Salem, the concentration camps of the Holocaust, prisons with bloody histories, & places where frequent executions took place, are known to have a lot of really bad spots.

Lazarus Pits being in the area also tends to exacerbate the situation if said pits aren't cleaned regularly or has been purposefully corrupted such as is the case with Nanda Parbat's Lazarus Pit. It having been suffused with a complex, dark, necroturgic energy via multiple blood sacrifices & dark animantic (soul magic) spellwork in an attempt by an ancient evil necroturgist to create beings that he could control, but were more durable than living humans & corpses.

Not to mention the isomorphic blood bonding ritual that made him & his kin all-but immune to these effects. Thus allowing them to use said pits as an artificial fountain of youth & 'healing.'

The dark necroturgic & animantic curse upon the waters is supposed to steal the soul of any corpse not related to the warlock & make them his puppet while said souls are used as the fuel for the continued enchantment.

As one might guess, Ra's Al Gul is a descendant of this warlock. The Demon Head originally found it upon reading his great grandfather's journal about it.

He's always wondered; if the pit was supposed to keep members of his family alive & young, why had his great grandfather died? The truth is that prolonged exposure to the pit waters causes a warping of the mind that eventually leads to a type of insanity that reduces one to something not unlike the Joker if he were also a rabid dog.

The warlock had either realized what was happening early on & decided to have his fun while he could & accept his natural death (if with a fallback so that he could come back & continue his reign of terror) or he was reduced to little more than an animal & was put down by someone when he attacked them. In such a case, he would've entirely forgotten that he could use magic or any other form of defensive measures other than attack, attack, attack!

Or, maybe the warlock has a sickly son or daughter besides Ra's grandparent that he regularly put into the pit in order to sustain them, but the frequent use of it eventually lead to them going feral, so he had to put them down. As such, he knew to just accept death (with a back up as mentioned above).

Going back to the spiritual rot thing, most places in Gotham & Bludhaven look like this at least to a degree.

Something similar can happen in places where a lot of good things happen, but in the reverse direction. This is partially why places like churches & other sacred places often fill one with a sense of peace or calm.

If you walk into a church & you feel a fear or dread that is unrelated to your personal concerns regarding the safety of your soul due to committing sins, then it's very likely that that particular church has experienced more tragedies than joys or miracles.

Though, whether it's due to external troubles or internal corruption is something that you normally can't just know unless either you investigate or you are spiritually gifted. In such a case as being spiritually gifted occurs, some are able to better discern the nature of the negativity. Whether bad things happen here because of outside forces, thus giving the place a more sad or frustrated atmosphere, or if bad things happen here because of internal forces such as a serial murderer for a pastor, thus giving the area a much deeper sense of fear & dread with an edge of maliciousness.
