Wait, but what will this mean for the numbering system? Like, realistically, creating two Doctors is probably just a way of giving one of them a happy ending while the other goes off and continues having adventures that people can enjoy watching. But, theoretically, what will happen if they regenerate?

Let's say Fifteen regenerates. Then the new one is Sixteen, right? But then what if Fourteen regenerates afterwards. Is that then Seventeen? Is it 14.5? Or 14 Version 2? 2!15?

Worse, what if (again, theoretically, cause it's not like they're gonna dot his please don't do this) Fourteen and Fifteen regenerate at the same time? Who would be SIxteen and who would be Seventeen? Or would they both be two different Sixteens?

Or is either Fourteen or Fifteen actually a new One, considering it's a brand new branch?

So. I have this thing where I see faces in things that categorically shouldn't have faces. Walls, floorboards, lamps, tires, trees, bagels, the surface of a porcelain bowl...I'll see them staring back at me with eyes and mouths that look vaguely similar to a human. But just...a little off. And if a piece of toast were to start talking to me, I probably wouldn't be surprised at all.

Nobody I know in town has the same issue I do with reality. They don't see the faces. They don't know that a thousand eyes follow them wherever they go. And they don't see this giant fucker yawning above them every day:
