God Adventure
My God Adventure where God once again proved to me that nothing is impossible with Him
I had a God Adventure yesterday and learned first hand how amazing of a Navigator God is. I had flown all day from 10am for 9 hours, two different flights. Both my flights, I had to find my way and I followed the signs and asked for help and was able to easily find my departure gates. My second flight touched down in France. God can take faith the size of a mustard seed and do great miracles with it. Mountain-moving faith does not need to be big, because God is big!
Friend, no matter the size you think your faith is, it is more than enough for God to work with - because God is mighty, all-powerful and so great. “You do not need a GREAT faith, but faith in a GREAT God” (J. Hudson Taylor). If you have faith in God, He will do what you can't do in your own strength. Our God is MIGHTY! Amen! 🙌

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalms 62:5-8
While talking to oneself is generally frowned upon, there are times when it is a good idea. One of those times is when you are discouraged and feel like giving up. There may not be anyone available for you to talk to and share the load. Reminding yourself where your hope lies is a good thing to do!
David faced many times of discouragement. Here is what he learned to do:
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. 1 Samuel 30:6
You may get discouraged, but you don't have to stay discouraged. Remind yourself to wait on God and encourage yourself in the Lord. Remember all the times he came through for you. Know that he is your foundation and your wall of protection. Know that help is on the way!

The Scroll with Seven Seals
1 And I saw on the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne a scroll, having been written inside and on the back, having been sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to break its seals?”
3 And no one in heaven, nor upon the earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the scroll, nor to see it. 4And I was weeping loudly, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll, nor to see it.
The Lamb is Worthy
5 And one of the elders says to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has overcome to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God having been sent out into all the earth. 7 And He came and took it out of the right hand of the One sitting on the throne.
8 And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls being full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they are singing a new song, saying,
“Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals,
because You were slain,

*God Still Cares*
🪴📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈🌴
Perhaps you're at a place in your walk with God where you feel He doesn't care anymore.
Perhaps you feel that things are not working out and God is distant.
However, I have news for you this morning.
God still cares.
He has never stopped caring.
God still loves you.
Regardless of what has happened with you, God thinks about you.
_"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!_
_If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: When I awake, I am still with thee" (Psalm 139:17-18)._
And His thoughts are good towards you.
If you are keeping your distance from God because He longer cares, it's time to get back with Him.
I'll leave you with a verse:
_"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you" (1 Peter 5:7)._

1 (To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.) Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

Pulpit CommentaryVerse 34. - Wait on the lord (comp. vers. 2, 5, 7; and Psalm 27:14; Psalm 62:5; Psalm 130:5; Proverbs 20:22). The injunction is repeated so often because of man's extreme impatience and unwillingness to "tarry the Lord's leisure" (Prayer-book Version of Psalm 27:16) trustfully and confidently. And keep his way. The way in which he would have them walk - the way of righteousness (comp. ver. 3). And he shall exalt thee to inherit the land (see ver. 29, and the comment ad loc.). When the ungodly are cut off, thou shalt see it (comp. Psalm 52:5, 6; Psalm 91:8). Doubtless with some satisfaction. As the "ungodly" spoken of are employed in watching for an occasion to "slay" the righteous (ver. 32), these last can scarcely witness their removal from the world by God's providence without a feeling of relief.

Waiting on God for deliverance during affliction is closely linked with holy silence. "Truly my soul waiters upon God: from him cometh my salvation" (Psalm 62:1). The Hebrew literally reads, "My soul is silent."
Hope fills the afflicted soul with joy. Hope brings such consolation that the afflicted soul can smile even when tears run down the face. This is called "the rejoicing of the hope" (Hebrews 3:6). And hope never produces more joy than in affliction. The sun paints the beautiful colors in the rainbow on a watery cloud. "Rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations" (Romans 5:2-3). Glorying is a rejoicing which the Christian cannot contain within himself; it comes forth in some outward expression to let others know what a feast he has inside. The springs of comfort lie high indeed when joy flows from the believer's mouth. And all the joy which sustains the suffering saint is sent in by hope at the cost of Christ, who has prepared unspeakable glory in heaven. Should we pity ourselves for the tribulations we go through on the way to Christ's glory?
While troubles attack with oppression, the gracious promises anoint with blessings. Hope breaks the alabaster box of the promises over the Christian's head and sends consolations abroad in the soul. And like a precious ointment these comforts exhilarate and refresh the spirit, heal the wounds, and remove the pain. Paul says, "Hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Romans 5:5).
Faith and hope are two graces which Christ uses above all others to fill the soul with joy, because these fetch all their wine of joy out of doors. Faith tells the soul what Christ has done and hope revives the soul with the news of what He will do. But both draw sweet wine from the same source–Christ and His promise.
