I hate how so many shops now on Etsy just take general product images from other stores and use them in their store front so you have to scour the reviews hoping someone’s posted pictures so you can see images of the ACTUAL product.

And you never really know who the original producer/maker of the item is when there’s 5 other products with the SAME EXACT IMAGE all from FIVE DIFFERENT SELLERS

I bought weighted stuffed animals for the first time in my life and it’s making me kind of crazy. One of these is also lavender scented and I can heat it in the microwave so it’s warm and it arrived on the first day this fall it’s gotten super cold & dreary and I’m on a new plane of existence rn

It's all done! My giant crochet Lapras!! It came out to about two feet long and I'm very proud of it :)

(Pattern is by 1UpCrochet on Etsy, it's made for worsted weight but I used blanket yarn)

#my art #crochet #pokemon #lapras #literally i love it soooooo much #it is wonky. you cant tell much from the photo but it is #ive never used blanket yarn so it was a challenge. the pattern isnt super difficult but the thick yarn makes it harder #if you make this pattern with blanket yarn there are some minor adjustments that need to be made #it comes out longer than intended if that makes sense #but i highly recommend it i love my lapras so much #also. the pattern on etsy is listed as nessie to get around copyright of youre looking for it #i didnt want to link it because i dont know if that still kicks it out of tags but if you want a link dm me and ill send it #i love my lapras. never making another big one #i broke a needle sewing the belly on. it was a struggle

gave in and actually bought a pattern for the amigurumi i was trying to free style and holy shit this is the the nicest crochet pattern i've ever followed. it has a few new techniques for me but i feel so nice and cared for that my stressed out last minute christmas gift making is actually fun and relaxing!
