Encantober Day 2: Siblings

Based on an incident referenced in one of my fics.

“Pepa, it’s my turn to ride the rocking horse,” Bruno informed her.

“No!” Pepa pouted, gripping the handles tightly. “I’m not done yet.”

“Mamá said it’s my turn,” Bruno said smugly. “She said you need to share.”

Pepa stopped rocking for a second. “No,” she decided, leaning forward and starting to rock again.

“Mamá,” Bruno called down the hallway. “Pepa isn’t sharing, even though you said she needs to share.”

“Tattletale.” Pepa stuck out her tongue at him. “Now I’m really not going to share.”

“But you’ve been on it for so long! You remember what mama said: five minutes per turn for each of us,” Bruno protested. “You’ve been on for way longer!”

Pepa ignored him, rocking more insistently.

Julieta, who had stayed quiet until then, spoke up. “Pepa, how about I let you play with my doll and then Bruno can have a turn on the horse?” She offered the doll she was dressing up.

Pepa shook her head. “I don’t want to play with a stupid doll. I want to ride the rocking horse.”

“But mamá said-“

A dark storm cloud appeared over Pepa’s head. “I don’t care what mamá said, I’m staying on the horse.”

“Pepa, you really should share-“

“No!” Pepa shrieked. Thunder rumbled overhead.

Julieta eyed the storm cloud nervously.

Meanwhile, Bruno went up to the horse and pushed Pepa off the horse. Satisfied to see it unoccupied, he took her place.

Now on the ground, Pepa started crying, accompanied by a downpour. “No fair!”

“Are you hurt?” Julieta fretted, checking Pepa’s arms and legs for bruises. “Looks like you’re a little scraped up. I can make you some tea, let’s go to the kitchen.”

“I’m not going anywhere.” Pepa crossed her arms defiantly. “I want to get back on the rocking horse.”

“Well you can’t,” Bruno gloated, sticking his tongue out at Pepa in turn.

“I can’t?” Angry, Pepa shoved Bruno off the horse and got back on.

Recovering quickly, Bruno yanked Pepa down on the ground with him. “No, you can’t.”

Lightning flashed dangerously in the cloud, now hovering over all their heads.

Julieta’s eyes flicked up to the light show, biting her lip anxiously. “Guys, maybe we should all do something else,” she suggested timidly.

“No!” Both Pepa and Bruno screamed at her in unison. A small tussle ensued where one would manage to climb on the horse and the other would remove them.

“Mamá said, you can’t ride it anymore,” Bruno insisted, slightly out of breath from his efforts. Finally, he pushed Pepa off one last time.

It seemed like it had worked. Pepa glowered at him. “I’m not letting you ride the horse!” She yelled frantically. Suddenly, a lightning bolt arced down from the cloud, striking the rocking horse.

The three children stared at it in horror. Where there had been a wooden rocking horse now stood a charred husk. Only the reins were still distinguishable, a dull red against the blackened ruins.

“Pepa, what did you do?” Julieta asked softly, covering her mouth.

“If I can’t ride it, neither can you.” Pepa reveled in her victory in preventing Bruno from riding on the horse.

“Great job, Pepa, now none of us can ride it,” Bruno groaned.

That thought hadn’t seemed to occur to Pepa just yet. She went up to it, inspecting the soot-covered horse warily. “It’s ruined…” With that realization, Pepa began to cry loudly. Raindrops splashed over the area surrounding the children.

At that moment, Alma appeared in the doorway. “What’s going on?” She questioned, surveying the room. Bruno was fuming. Pepa was sobbing. Julieta appeared torn between helping her brother and her sister. And in the middle of it all stood an extremely burnt former rocking horse.

“Pepa ruined the rocking horse with her stupid gift just because she didn’t want to share,” Bruno complained.

Pepa’s eyes narrowed. Fists curled, she lunged towards Bruno, needing to be restrained by Julieta.

Alma rubbed her temples, sighing. “Ay, mis hijos, what am I going to do with you?” She murmured to herself. Addressing the children, she said, “Go to your rooms, all of you.”

Julieta nodded begrudgingly, accepting her fate.

Bruno gasped. “But I did nothing wrong!”

“Nothing wrong?” Pepa scoffed. Her lower lip wobbled as she cried.

“Yeah, nothing wrong.” Bruno doubled down.

“Rooms, now!” Alma raised her voice.

Startled, the children obeyed; Pepa and Bruno scurrying to their rooms and leaving Julieta alone in hers.

Alma left the room and leaned against the wall, letting out a deep breath. Raising magical triplets was going to be much harder than she thought.

I present to thy, my contribution to the Pacific Rim x ROTTMNT crossover on Twitter/IG/Tumblr!

I imagine they work in two pairs; Raph and Leo pilot a mech called the Hamato Fighter while Donnie and Mikey pilot another called Metalhead! So have Chaosduo for now, not sure when I'll do Raph and Leo heho

◇ Donatello ◇

Alongside Mikey, Donnie pilots the jaegar known as Metalhead. He was the one who made all the blueprints and features of the mech, and participated in constructing it as well. He favours logically assessing the situation first and concluding what kind of kaiju they're fighting before he decides to make a move. Sometimes he tends to go overboard, but he doesn't focus on completely killing the opposing kaiju unless it deals or has dealt harm to himself or his brothers. He likes to take any remaining remnants of the kaiju to research and examine in his lab, often tinkering and messing around with pieces of kaiju skin or flesh, much to his eldest brother's chagrin.

Although cold, sarcastic and brutal, he does care for his brothers and is especially protective of his co-pilot and youngest brother. He will do anything it takes to keep him safe. Of course, he blames himself after Mikey got significant nerve damage during one of their missions, and is currently hellbent on finding the still alive kaiju that caused it in the first place.

☆Michelangelo☆

The self-proclaimed 'wild card' of the tag team, Mikey pilots the jaegar Metalhead alongside Donnie with as much enthusiasm [and dread] as the next person. He enjoys kicking kaiju butt and yelling random catchphrases while he's at it, his favourite being "Dr. Delicate Touch sends his regards!". He was the one who put stickers all over their shared mech, as well as a few splotches and specks of paint. He enjoys accompanying Donnie in his tests regarding the pieces of kaiju they find and even helped him make breakthroughs that eventually helped fighting against newer kaiju. He prefers analyzing the fighting and behaviour pattern of the opposing kaiju and calculating an ambush or surprise attack before going for the charge.

Being the youngest he often finds himself constantly babied and overprotected by his older brothers, who worries over him not being able to protect himself in the midst of a battle. He can do so just fine though, having exceeding expectations multiple times. After gaining nerve damage in a recent mission however, he started to worry the same for himself...

♤Metalhead♤

Equipped with multiple weapons and thick armour, the jaegar Metalhead has proven itself a worthy enemy to many a kaiju. It has a retractable chain-like weapon that resembles a kusarigama and a bō-like baton that can deliver quite the shock to it's opponent, both figuratively and literally. It's thick metal coating allows it to withstand heavy blows from it's foe and deliver them back. Two of it's three arms are chunky, allowing for scale-crushing blows and punches to be delivered with ease, whilst the third arm is lighter and clawed, articulated and able to twist in order to hold back anything from behind. The third arm is operated by Mikey, and the second by Donnie, whilst the right arm is operated by both pilots. Metalhead also has big lights on it's shoulders and torpedo missiles kept within hidden compartments of it's armour, alongside a shell-like covering on it's back, which houses numerous missiles and serves as defense.

Although robust in size and well-equipped to deal with more difficult kaiju, it's 'shell' restricts mobility, requiring the mech to move upto the knees to be able to bend. It's third, clawed arm is lighter than the other two, making it easier to break or damage.

[Notes: I am not good at designing mechs, so you will see plenty of flaws! Also, the length of the kusarigama and the amount of volts generated by the baton is completely wrong, I just added them to look smart imo. The chains' length is three-fourth of Metalhead's height and the baton can generate enough electricity to stun a Catergory-3 kaiju!]

Ok this is getting scrapped so I just added colors to make it more idk nice on the eyes I wasn’t happy with it and after A few days of tinkering with it I just gave up, so take what is done 😔✋💌💌

Raph and Dragons go together like PB&J. Uhh, lore stuff, blah blah. The dragon that mentors Raph is the reason why Hamatos have ninpo. It all leads back to the divine creature. It gifted the first Hamato its power when the human proved that it was pure-hearted

reason why it would ask them for such power. The first Hamato was gifted with all of the dragon's powers, but to make sure no human held such power alone again, the dragon made it so that only one of its powers would ever be inherited by one person, split if siblings were born.

Beastly Ninpo is the most powerful of them and the most rare to inherit. It's so rare that only two Hamatos have ever gained its power: Raph and Karai, blah blah. Raph has to prove himself before the dragon agrees to train him.

Batfamily Shenanigans:Head-canons Pt: 1

Bruce eat Peanut Butter from the jar and it drives Alfred mad. Has a kid it was the only thing that calmed Bruce down after his parents,but as an adult he still does it.

Bruce cannot cook in the kitchen, but he can grill just about anything and does it with minimal effort.

Dick, Bruce,Alfred,Steph and Duke are right handed. While, Babs, Jason, Damian, and Kate are left handed. Tim is ambidextrous. Damian hates it.

Damian is vegetarian, Dick and Babs will try different restaurants with him and some of Dick’s new favorite takeout is a vegan and vegetarian Asian restaurant in Uptown.

Alfred prefers Earl Grey over any other tea.

Tim got his GED,at first the he didn’t want to tell anyone but Damian found his mail and told him he was proud. But threatened him if he breathed a word to the others.

Duke sometimes get overwhelmed during the day patrol and other bats sometimes will randomly come by to check on him.

Bruce to his credit was still getting hang of being a father with Jason and Dick. Tim was more of a partner at first, but later on he became his son. He really got improve and do better with Damian. He’s still trying but at least that counts.

Jason does have the white tuff, however after speaking with Talia and Damian he learns it’s not a result of the pit. And it’s actually Vitiligo.

Stephanie is actually allergic to eggs, put loves them so much that everyone just carries Benadryl. Cass keeps her EpiPen.

Duke is the best swimmer out of his siblings.

Kate does not like desserts, she doesn’t have a big sweet tooth. Bruce however is a Cookie Monster.

Babs has had LASIK however she still wears her glasses to not strain them while looking at monitors all the time.

Alfred the Cat, loves Tim’s room more because of his window. It gets the best sunrises and sunsets, he enjoys the warmth from it.

Ace prefers to set at Bruce’s feet in the cave. Bruce enjoys his company.

Cass and Dick have dance classes together in the ballroom. Dick is surprisingly good at Ballet.

Jason will eat his siblings leftovers. Tim will get him half his PB&J and Jason will devour it in seconds.

Talia used to make food with her mother has a little girl and did the same with Damian. He tries to teach Bruce some of his favorite food. Poor Bruce isn’t very good at it but the enjoy the bonding.

Cass can identify which of her brothers is the closest by their scents. Dick has a vanilla and cedarwood smell,Jason smells like Grapefruit and Amber, Tim smells like French lavender, Duke has a grapefruit and Patchouli scent, and Damian smells like cinnamon.

Barbara likes when Cass and Damian make her handmade jewelry over being bought stuff. She wears a gold locket Cass gifted her everyday. And has a ring and charm bracelet that Damian gave her for birthday. She never takes these off.

Tim is allergic to shellfish.

Bruce cannot stand strawberry jam, he prefers grape much to Alfred’s horror.

Stephanie will stack plates, silverware and cups like a server. It’s habit she got from her Mom and hates leaving a mess for Alfred or any other server to clean.

Jason has smoked from time to time. But will snap if he sees his little brothers do it. Jason will Mother Hen them to death.

Alfred is the best marksmen with long ranges guns, Jason is the best at versatile shooting and Barbara is the best firearm shot.

Cass,Steph are the same height, both are an inch taller than Tim, Duke is to inches taller then them.

Tim and Damian are the artist of the family. Damian prefers classic art, like oil paintings, pottery, and marble sculptures. Tim prefers modern art, photography, stone sculptures. Diana takes them to her art gallery on the weekends.

Bruce is the slowest to text back, Jason and Damian ignore texts if they’re not emergencies,Tim emails the fastest, the only good testers are Steph, Duke, and Barbara. Dick will ignore your text and FaceTime you to ask you to repeat the question instead and Cass prefers a phone call.
