Wg Episode idea and possible future rp idea for you and @erraticeris Mindful Manners Summary: A new female villain dressed up like a Victorian nanny causes trouble in Fair City. She proclaims herself to be a "person of justice", but her actions only cause chaos and she is too stubborn to believe she is in the wrong. Her name Miss Manners. She has mind control powers that only affect kids under the age of 16. Miss Manners believes every child should behave like well mannered and responsible adults, like their parents. So any child she finds "misbehaving". She hypnotizes them to act more like their parents would. She stubbornly believes all parents are the best role models for their children. She targets the villain kids and hypnotizes them to act like their parents. ex. Tobey acting like his mother and Victoria acting like her parents. (Eileen is affected too, but I don't know who her parents are so that is up in the air.) Wordgirl and Amazo Lad try to intervene to stop Miss Manners because you can't mind control children lady! Miss Manners sees the heroes' actions as "misbehaving" so she hypnotizes them as well. "You two should really act more like your parents!" Miss Manners cackles. She and the citizens are stunned and shocked when Amazo Lad and Wordgirl start stealing their favorite stuff and committing other crimes as well. Miss Manners had no clue their parents were criminals. (Carrie is still a cat villain in this episode.) So Fair City is in trouble. Featured words: Behavior and Imitation

Who are your top housewives
Tumblr media
Oooh that’s hard. Top five faves in no particular order gotta be
1. Nene Leaks, icon of icons like what would the internet be without her
Tumblr media
2. Guerdy Abraira, she’s such a vibe I love her like that’s my friend Guerdy I know her
Tumblr media
3. Eileen Davidson, she has such a classic RHONY old white woman who is kinda classy kinda trashy loves her wine and gets a little messy when she’s had too much vibe and I miss it. Also this iconic moment right here.
Tumblr media
4. Garcelle Beauvais, I enjoy seeing her storyline w her kids it’s such a breath of fresh air between Kyle and Dorit’s boring ass lives. I think she’s also rlly coming out of her shell on the show and I think she could rlly deliver some drama if the white women weren’t throwing micro and macro aggressions her way every two minutes 😩
Tumblr media
5. Candiace Dillard Bassett, now I was not always a candi fan (I was raised by if you talk shit and get hit don’t go crying to your mom) BUT she reads like no one’s business. She also knows what the gig is and films w Ashley and the others even if she doesn’t like them or has issues w them like she shows up to do her job and on Potomac that’s everything
Tumblr media
Honorable mentions: The grand dame Karen Huger, Kathy Hilton (she’s insane and I need more of her on tv like more of her bullying Kyle), Phaedra Parks Esquire (I’m living for her on the traitors), Kim Richards, Kenya Moore, the Countess Luann, Sonja Morgan, Lisa Vanderpump, Meredith from SLC, and of course Miss Sutton Stracke
Honestly I loved early Rinna like circa were ppl doing coke in your bathroom era 😩

Ask game #48 and 50 for Severus :3333
Oooh! Asking some tough (for me!) questions!
48. Scariest moment of their life
Hm… he’s had plenty of moments of terror, from the moment in the Shrieking Shack while Voldy was discussing the Elder Wand and the pieces of Dumbledore’s last plans were falling into place and apart, finding Draco torn open by Sectumsempra at Harry’s hand, going to plead for Dumbledore to protect Lily (et. al), pleading for Voldy to spare Lily…
Still, I think the moment of purest terror, a fear that comes with clarity rather than klaxons, was the first time he set foot in the Shrieking Shack and encountered Remus Lupin twisted out of his own normal bones into the werewolf.  It would’ve been a moment in which the knowledge would’ve hit him like a ton of bricks, as cold and real as an iceberg in the path of an ocean liner, that Sirius Black (et al.) wanted him to die, that his life meant nothing to them at absolute best.  Perhaps because he didn’t receive support afterwards or an action he could take to “fix this”, because the Marauders continued to treat him with violence (SWM happens after the Whomping Willow incident after all!), it is the moment of terror that continues to afflict him.
50. A memory they’ve blocked out
The look on his mother’s face when Tobias Snape discovers that his son is magical.
Maybe Severus tells himself that he was too young to remember, surely two and a half, maybe three and change, is too young to have concrete memories!
But he remembers the look on his father’s face, the shock, the fear, the betrayal, the fury.  Severus remembers the first time his father looked at him as though there was something wrong with him, something unnatural and unknowable and thus unlovable.
He does not, will not, cannot, remember Eileen’s expression.
It could not be his mother, with a face contorted by the furious-cowardly impulse to blame the truthful child for knocking the world down, in the mirror over Tobias’ shoulder.
(The mirror cracked and shattered, raining slivers of glass upon the already horrified father. What ill luck came to stay at Spinners End on that day!)

Heyo!
How do you think Castiel and Dean would react to meeting Steve and Bucky and vice versa? Who would get along with who? Who relates to who better? For the purposes of the ask please pretend neithers gayness has been REDACTED
Oooh hello there! What an interesting question! For the sake of this answer, I will put Steve and Bucky into a universe that's closer to the spn universe than the mcu universe, because putting Dean and Sam in a universe with aliens and stuff feels too much (I also don't care about the mcu universe as a whole). So Steve and Bucky's story is kinda the same but just without the whole non-earth side of the mcu lol.
Sooo... Dean would WORSHIP Captain America and the Howling Commandoes! American heroes that fought against the nazis? I also imagine that when Dean grew up - the 80s - a lot of, you know, 80s-style badly made animated series, campy action movies, figurines and toys about the Howling Commandoes would ba made, and those would be totally up Dean's alley (not Sam, who would tease Dean for being so obsessed with something that Sam would see as cringey lol).
I'm not saying that Captain America would be Dean's first crush, but like. Super strong warrior type with blue eyes? I mean.
I also assume that pop culture between 1945 and when Steve was found and came back would totally hide/erase any hints of queerness that sources about Steve and Bucky's lives might suggest, but Dean is a smart bean and would se the subtext and the unspoken eroticism of the whole devotion between brothers in arms. So he wouldn't be exactly surprised when Steve's queerness would come to light...
Cas would be jealous. Trying to hide it but not succeeding much. He would warm up to Steve eventually, I guess, but it would take him a moment :p
On the other side, I think that Steve and Bucky would warm up to Dean faster than to Cas (who is kind of an acquired taste... well, he doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve like Dean does, and it takes time to get to know the real him). Dean would be familiar with 30s-40s pop culture and army culture due to his crush special interest in the era, so Steve and Bucky would find him funny and likeable albeit a little starstruck/with rose-tinted glasses about those times he's learnt so much about through cinema and tv (see Dean meeting Eliot Ness), but Dean would be so earnest about it that they would just find it adorable. (For the sake of this argument I'm assuming they meet in circumstances where they'd be able to genuinely connect and not be hindered by emotional baggage.)
If they really got to bond and open up with each other, then Cas and Bucky would relate so much to each other. Both brainwashed and manipulated and used by the villains, both broken through the brainwashing thanks to their love for an American boy with a giant heart and little sense of self-preservation and determination to sell... Of course this would happen only after they'd see the other as worthy of trusting with their emotional vulnerability.
Basically if the circumstances of their encounter allow for really getting to know each other and opening up to one another, they would all adore each other, in slightly different ways depending on the way each would connect to another.
Technically Sam would have potential to connect to Steve and Bucky too, but if both couples are open about their being a couple, then Sam would simply be the straight brother of one of the guys lol. Then again, if Sam hangs out with them also with Eileen, then Steve and Bucky would adore Eileen (who doesn't) so Sam would get a chance to hang out with the group too. But I think that Steve and Bucky would vibe more with the queer dudes, it feels more realistic lol.
You all are welcome to share your thoughts on the matter!!

which of ur bloodborne favs if any would do drag. and who would be best at it
Oooh this is surprisingly tough.
I think most of them would take a shake at it (apart from Gehrman he’s too scared it’ll change him or something ((he helps make the outfits though)).
Weirdly enough I think Micolash would be really damn creative with his ideas and executions. He creates these actual mindbending dresses you have to sit down after looking at. Lozza wouldn’t be half bad at it either but he wouldn’t go in hard enough- too tame.
As for the drag king side of things, I think Addie would rock it ❤️ and of course Eileen as well!

How much difference would you say Lily's family had vs the Snape's working/class wise?
oooh this is something i've kind of answered in this post, but it also says a lot about what i think about lily (at least canon!lily) in general.
in sum, i don't think lily was middle class (in british terms, which in american terms means well-off), and that there wasn't much of a difference between what her family's social situation was and snape's. severus' family was mired in poverty, meaning they probably lacked access to food, water and medicine constantly. they had a house, but it likely lacked indoor plumbing, especially given the type of houses prevalent in industrial working-class towns like the ones it seems cokeworth was based on. (rowling never really confirmed it but it seems cokeworth shares a lot of similarities with the Black Country). tobias likely worked at the mills while eileen stayed at home and kept house.
there's a little bit of difference in that the evanses are located on the other side of the river, which is a bit of a metaphor. it's basically saying they were better off, but honestly, in my mind, it's the same working-class town, so the ones 'better off' may only have had just the slightest advantage, in that they had just enough money to scrape by day-to-day, but never enough to save. cokeworth would have also been a dingy, dismal place to live in especially at the height of the industrial revolution, and i doubt anyone would stay there if they had better options. i hc mr evans working at the mills too but probably in a different position. mrs evans may have also been working at odd jobs like washing clothes to help bring more money in. this would have left the kids to their own devices majority of the time and explains how lily and severus met and had enough freedom to stay friends as children.

I don't have a full chapter done yet for my AUroulette2023 but I do have 1600 words so here's 500+ words from my Silent Hill Fairy Tale AU (Silent Hill and Bluebeard)
"Really, Henry? The murder house?" was what woke Lisa from her sleep. She stretched out her senses, the rest of her fellow dead waking as well.
"You gave me our budget, and unless we want to stay renting that shitty apartment, this is our best option. It's cheap, close to campus, and, crucially, your creepy stalker isn't here." Mary and Maria rose, [words]
"He has a point, Cynth. Plus, since this wouldn't be a rental, both you and Henry could set up studios. No more going to campus when you get hit with inspiration at four am." Cybil moved forward and pushed the door open, wincing when it moved far smoother than she expected and hit the wall.
"...right. and that noise was just the wind, then? Someone left a window open?"
"They did just finish a reno in the last year and it's an old house. With the pressure difference from us coming in and the fact that the floors probably aren't fully level, I'm not surprised a door popped open. Besides, you won't have to share a washroom with me or Eileen anymore."
Mira barked and bolted down the hall, followed shortly by Laura and Angela.
"Yeah, okay."
"They're finally selling the place," Lisa said to Mary as they followed the others out into the main room. "I didn't think they ever would."
"Look at us," the elder ghost said. "Look at how many of us died here. I am not surprised that my family has chosen to sell the property instead of accepting more death on their shoulders." She shook her head. "And no one has spent more than a half-year living here since Cybil died."
Cybil was their newest, killed by the same man who ended Lisa's life, who had killed others, when she came to question him. A last act of a desperate man, one that, this time, he couldn’t cover up.
After all, there was nothing subtle about shooting a police officer five times on the front step, in broad daylight.
Since then the house was viewed more as a curiosity, as a spectacular for ghost hunters to flock to. New owners meant the ghost hunters would be turned away or arrested if they were caught breaking in, and they wouldn't feel as much a spectical.
-
"Ha! Take that, dad," Henry said, grinning at the keys he was holding. "Said I'd never do anything with my photography and now I'm part-owner of a house."
"Murder house," Cynthia reminded him, plucking her key from his hand. "Really, really cheap murder house."
"Personally, I prefer murder home," Eileen said, taking her key as well. "Oooh, I'm going to stitch that."
The three had pooled their left over disposable income and hired some other broke college students to move them in, which meant they had time to properly explore the house and pick out their rooms before the van arrived.
"Dibs on the sunroom," Cynthia called. "It's going to be my studio."
"Go for it," Henry replied, looking curiously around the pantry. "This could work for my darkroom—"
"No chemicals where we eat!" Eileen shouted from the front of the house. "Find somewhere else for your spooky room. There's a shed in the back?"
"Just because you've watched too many horror movies—"
As the three bickered and laughed, the cold, cool feeling that overlay the house began to fade. Maybe, everyone thought, just maybe, this will be good.

eileen, mary, jess and 8 <3
8: share a car with, share a bank account with, share a cake with
oooh okay. i’ll share a car with jess because we r both college girls and i want to get to know her better and we would play loud music and bond over sam. also she is the love of my life EDIT i misinterpreted the question but my answer is the same we would get the cutest car together and drive everywhere together anyway
mary shares the bank account as long as we’re in a position where she cares about me so that she has incentive to communicate about it and be considerate. she seems frugal and pretty methodical and i think that’s good when it comes to finances and would help me be the same
eileen and i will have the cake. it’s important to have cake with a cake person and eileen is so clearly a cake person. and sharing food is about community and joy and eileen just is those things. it would be nice

hmmmmm
recommend me some books?
(go wild with it)
💕💓💗💝💞💖💕💓💞💖💕💓
Oooh hello anon! 💖💖💖
(i'm pretty tired and i've forgotten every book in existence so...)
The Falco Series by Lindsey Davis, if you read the Roman Mysteries as a kid, it's kinda like that but for adults (also funnier, darker, and weirdly more lighthearted) if you didn't read the Roman Mysteries then it's about this private investigator in the ancient roman empire solving mysteries, it's a perfect balance of humor and gruesome murders. There's like 20 books in the series.
The Chronicles of Faerie by O. R. Melling, (idk how easy this is to find cos i had Problems finding all the books) YA, Irish faerie mythology, doomed love, bittersweet endings, the first 3 are linked but follow different characters the last brings everything together, I just love the vibe of these books.
Goddess of the Hunt by Shelby Eileen, poetry inspired by the greek goddess Artemis, about growing up, nature, and being aroace.
She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan, (i know i talk about it a lot) adult fantasy-historical retelling, what if the founder of the Ming dynasty was a girl, plus a whole load of Gender, messy queer relationships and everyone is very morally grey and kinda a dick. Emotionally devastated me, can't wait for the sequel.
I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen, childrens picture book, very funny, chooses violence, i laughed so much when i read it in the bookshop. I don't own it. This is a tragedy.
Also recommending These Feathered Flames, Jeeves and Wooster, Legends and Lattes, Sabriel, Loveless, and Frankenstein.
I hope one of those piques your interest, happy reading!

So you have named your car 'Baby' too then? 😂 Oooh, this is too good!
Well, in all fairness - you probably gave Karen Wheeler more attention than she'd gotten in a decade, so all in all, I think you did a good thing.
Honestly think it would've been worse if you had slept with her
I used to play DnD when I was younger, but I prefer World of Darkness. No, not World of Warcraft, a whole different thing!
Do you and Eddie at least get along regarding music? I mean, I gathered you listen to Metallica, so ...
Yes I named her my Baby!! Geez everyone always finds that funny. *rolls my eyes* her actual name is Eileen. And no not after the psycho. I kept getting asked that so I call her baby— it’s off of Keith Richards song if you must know.
Ah poor thing. Yeah it woulda been baaaaad.
*frowns* uh I don’t know the difference any way. The fuck is world of Warcraft?
Eddie and I are buddies actually. We swap shit all the time. He’s pretty fun to hang out with. And spar with he’s a scrappy skinny S.O.B.

Oooh what did u not like about bwway? I thought it was her best written novel but cwf is still my favorite rooney
To me it was trying to do too many things at once. Alice is obvi a proxy for Sally and that’s fine but like I’d prefer essays from Sally on fame than emails from Alice to Eileen on the topic. The conversation was interesting but Rooney making it fictional took away from anything profound she could’ve been saying because now it’s not really something we can talk to beyond saying “I don’t like Alice much” and I suppose maybe Sally doesn’t like Sally much so I can’t judge that but idk. Then it was trying to make us care about the love stories and I actually liked Eileen x Simon but Felix and Alice didn’t even seem to like one another tbh and Rooney needs to stop just saying “this person is bi” as a character trait because like idk what that added to Felix ever at any point. I also haaaated those chapters that talked about “the woman” before revealing the characters because it wasn’t clever or interesting - it was wanky. And not in the Joyce way.
As I’ve said with the song stuff tho you can love BWWAY tho idc it just wasn’t it for me.
But of course it was well written, she’s Sally fucking Rooney.
