Nicky Nichols in an Age Gap Relationship Headcannons

You first came to prison when you were in your early 20s.

A minor crime you thought, but it ended up being a long-ish sentence.

You wanted to keep to yourself, but the resident prison lesbian, Nicky, had just broken it up with Lorna and was looking for a rebound.

Nicky didn't think anything at first when she started flirting with you. You were just a hook up.

But after hooking up, something clicked within Nicky, and she became yours.

At first when Nicky realised the age gap, she felt warry.

5 years wasn't much, but it was still something.

Sometimes talking about an event that happened or a tv show that was on when she was younger would have you looking at him weird.

Other times her references didn't land, or you'd bring up something that she had no idea existed. But that was just being in prison for 2 years prior.

But for most things, the age difference didn’t matter. It just made Nicky protective of you.

It wasn't long until Nicky became infamous in the prison for being almost too protective of you.

When you got your work assignments and bunks, Nicky pulled some strings with Luscheck and Caputo to make sure you ended up in both her bunk and electrical. Surprisingly, it works.

Nicky was nervous to introduce you to Red, but Red ended up loving you slightly more than Nicky giving the Nichols warnings not to "fuck up this relationship."

Nicky always leaves a space for you at mealtimes, and if you so much as 5 minutes late she is looking all over the prison for you.

One day in electrical you ended up cutting your finger slightly on metal. This made Nicky go mental at Lusheck claiming that he should have been watching over what you were doing.

"It's fine, Nick." You tried to reason, it was a small cut, but it hurt light hell.

"No, it's not, you're bleeding!"

Nicky ended up taking you to Gloria that day, given that she can do some "voodoo magic shit" to help heal your cut.

All round, Nicky wants to make you make sure your loved and appreciated in the world. She will constantly give affection to you, marking her territory so that no other girl tries to. And it works.

She all yours, and your all hers.
