A relatively new addition to the cast of Duck Duck Goose, this is the malevolent and ill-tempered Little Bo Peep!

A ruthless little girl of blood and wool, she’s got a thin patience to those that oppose the goal of the sheep. She’s got quite the arsenal around her— a widespread flock of friendly looking little lambs that are much less cutesy when in battle. With relentless little manic sheep that are spotted all over the place, the sheep are spoken to have a vendetta against canine-kind and all things wolf-related, as they’ve grown tired of being thrown around and hunted so mercilessly by all the real big bad wolves of the world. When prey becomes predator, a leader is to be crowned to remind of the motive— and this is where Bo Peep— a girl perfectly fit for the job— comes into play.

Little Bo Peep is the human protector of these wooly little animals, and she’s been crowned to represent what they want— revenge; against all who have ever feasted their chop and harvested their wool. She’s uptight and snobbish— a total brat far too spoiled beyond repair. She makes the utmost perfect host for controlling, frolicking alongside the flock as it continues to flourish and grow. The sheep and their leader are the living proof not to trust all things cute and cuddly. In fact, they’re all proof that trust is a fragile virtue granted and destroyed— all you have to do is look into the gaze of Bo Peep the wrong way and you’ll find yourself with wool over your eyes!

Special thanks to @pazam, @menthum-mint and @shroingushour for some help with ideas for the finalized design! I had a little bit of trouble making her outfit a little more interesting initially, haha!

#HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER #she’s one of several planned antagonists actually #It might be somewhat hard to tell but she’s supposed to be like. little kid sized. she’s a child #the sheep with her are just. very small as well. lamb sized even. #They’re a real ‘quantity over quality’ type deal because what they don’t have in strenghr they do have in numbers #Like they don’t really have too much strength to them aside from some oddly differences compared to normal sheep #like these guys are smaller and way cuter and come in different colors #but it’s when they’re in large groups it becomes harder to manage #they’re surprisingly very widespread. they basically cover a lot of ground. they sorta know what they want and so does Bo Peep #Usually Bo is always seen with at least one sheep close by her side #she does use the scythe offensively but only should it be needed to #most of the time she sheep keep her guarded and make sure she won’t need to #And of course it’s also worth mentioning that like. Slashers who meet a to-be victim whos just putting glitter on things

A to-be victim who has a room full of posters of serial killers and slashers

Imagine two of Bo's worst nightmares. Glitter. And sparkles. Combine them. Put them in a room and that would be your bedroom. And worst of it all...Posters of him and his brothers in every single corner. He was speechless...

"...What in the—? What is this place ?! Hell ?!"

As soon as he was in, he wanted to leave. Only to discover that the door was locked and he had now glitter on his shoes and his hand. And then, you appeared with a whole bucket of glitter in your hands. And Bo started praying.

Him : "Whatdya think yer gonna do with that exactly ?!"

You *devilish smirk*

Him : "Oh no, you don't ! Get the heck away from me !"

…Bo couldn’t get all the sparkles out of his hair for weeks.

...Wow.

Jason was surprised and impressed. A full room dedicated to him and the slashers. He hadn't expected it. He didn't really mind though. It meant you knew about him and weren’t scared.

Him *smiles* : "Do you want some help ?"

You *handing him a full bucket of glitter* : "Sure ! Put them everywhere. And you can help take pictures of the others for me."

He was more than happy to help and you ended up having a good time playing with glitter and stalking the other slashers. Jason may not really care about glitter and sparkles, but he’d be happy to spend time with you.

The Penny Brothers love glitter. It is something fun and colourful for Penny. He would help you decorate the whole hospital. He’d even be thrilled to meet a fan and see all the posters you have of them. It would mean that you are as crazy as him and you would get along just fine. Penny loves crazy people.

And for Pennywise ? Pennywise sees it as the perfect torture. Those little colourful flakes are impossible to remove from clothes or hair and when people receive them in their eyes…It means atrocious suffering and temporary blindness. So, of course he’d love them.

Brahms was ecstatic when he learned about the new patient who loves glitter and sparkles. He wanted to be your friend before he even met you. He stayed away for a while and only showed himself when he was sure you were what he thought you were. When he saw the huge posters of him, he got flustered. But, he got particularly excited when you showed him your collection of pink and purple items covered in glitter. He immediately felt like he had found someone who understood him.

It wasn’t long before Brahms started walking around proudly with a glitter-covered mask. And he didn’t even care about the others making fun of him for it, because there was you.

Norman knew from the start. He first rent you a room and when he took a look through the peep hole—he was immediately blinded by the brightness in the room. But, he was flattered by the posters.

Let’s just say that Norman found it endearing, but he isn’t a really big fan of glitter and sparkle—especially on him. It means more cleaning. But, on you ? He’d find it adorable and would gladly run the vacuum every day if it meant he got to see you in those very pretty and original outfits of yours.

Norman *smiles* : "Very cute, my little monster. Very cute."

Freddy : "FIRE IN THE HOLE !" *uses a literal canon to make the whole place sparkle*

Freddy loves chaos. You would just give him an idea to cause more trouble and make the whole hospital swim in glitter. Fortunately, the staff and the other slashers are used to it by now.

But, it doesn’t mean they like it all the same.

Random nurse *after she got covered in green glitter* : "…FREDDY ! Y/N ! Come back here !"

You and Freddy *cackling while running away*

Barry LOVES glitter. He lives for it. He wants each of his outfits to have a sparkle to them. And he’d design all sorts of clothes for you.

Barry *screams when you get out of the dressing room* : "YES ! Absolutely nailed it ! Twirl for me, darling. Yes. Thank you. Absolutely gorgeous."

Vincent did take you as an inspiration for his new piece. He took some of your supplies to cover his new wax statue and at the end, he offered it to you. It was a wax statue of yourself and Vince waited anxiously for your opinion.

Vincent *fidgets nervously*

You *smile widely* : "I love it !"

He was really ecstatic and gave you a hug. He really wanted you to like it.

Why I think Russell Adler is going to make a comeback in COD 2024

WARNING⚠️: Contains spoilers for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Disclaimer: This is all just speculation on my behalf of course. I've just tried piecing stuff together for fun because Russ is one of my fave BO characters even though he's a bitch but i need more Adler content stat. <33

Let's get into it peeps. HEAR ME OUT.

Buckle up. Gonna be one hell of a ride folks 🤪

We'll start off with some random/background info.

Russ was born on February 12th 1937 so that would make him 53/54 in the Gulf War era. This actually isn't that old because if you think about it, Woods was about to turn 51 in 1981 during the Cold War campaign. What's a few more years?

We last saw Adler in action post-campaign in Warzone 1.0 cinematics but we've been kept in the dark about Adler's whereabouts post-1984 (after being brainwashed and killing Stitch LOL).

This meanie in a beanie wasn't forgotten about, oh no. He appears in the new cinematic intros on startup for both MWII (2022) and MWIII (2023). See below:

I personally believe Adler was a great addition to the Black Ops roster and is essentially the new Black Ops 'cover boy' now. Would be such a shame and a missed opportunity not to include a character like him in the upcoming COD. One who is morally grey, does whatever he deems necessary to get the job done - a bit like Cpt. Price in MW. Got the COD fans riled up about him brainwashing and pulling the trigger on Bell too - he's already got the spotlight in both a good and bad way.

Now, let's explore my main reasoning as to why I think Mr Shades 2.0 is most likely coming back in late 2024...

Here are some of the campaign missions that will be featured in Black Ops Gulf War. Obviously, this is subject to change, however, going off what we have, look closely...

I took the following snippet from this official article.

From this, we know there will be a huge focus on the CIA and who's a CIA clandestine special officer? Mhm, you guessed it - Russell Adler.

Now, according to the events of BO2, it's evident which characters have the possibility of returning out of our original BO trio - Jason Hudson, Frank Woods and Alex Mason.

💫 Alex is presumed dead after Frank shot him so he's out the picture in '90/91 until 2025 when they canonically meet again.

🪵 Woods would be in his 60s during this time too so I'll let you decide whether that's too old for him to be in GW.

Edit: Woods got SPAS-12'd in the kneecaps on Dec 20th 1989 by Raul Menendez so uh...yeah

🧊 Hudson died on Dec 20th 1989 at the hands of Raul Menendez.

➡️ Gulf War being a direct sequel to Cold War and what that could mean 💉

That brings me onto the rest of the safehouse crew. Since GW is a direct sequel to CW, it would make sense for some characters to carry over if possible:

We, as the player/Bell, get to choose whether Park or Lazar die (or both lovebirds) in 'End of the Line'. It's highly unlikely they'll return unless the devs make one decision canon maybe.

There could be a chance we see Sims again given his bond with Adler (Da Nang etc.), his age (late 40s in GW) and his status (alive).

That leaves the man himself, Russ. Everything from his age to the fact he's CIA and was the deuteragonist in COD 2020's campaign just makes sense for him to have at least a lil cameo or even a larger role, don't you think?

📱Finally: Hints from official posts 🔎

This post from Call of duty's official Instagram account kind of sealed the deal for me.

Oh lookie - they dropped syringe-lover's famous line in a zombies post. Why would COD just drop it so casually like that without a reason and years after CW came out? They could've said absolutely anything else but no, this was purposeful.

How he's only in one game is beyond me. Won't get a character like him ever again. Seems like a cliché war dude at first glance but dig a little deeper into the details of the CW campaign, peel back the layers and get into his psychology and WOWZERS.

Am I delusional? Most definitely.

But the possibility he might be returning...that little bit of hope is enough for me and i won't shut up about it.

This will age horribly if he isn't in GW. Forgive me for feeding your delusions too in that case. Please?

@moony-ghoul’s post got me thinking about a farm au where the ghouls live in a big farmhouse in the countryside :3

they grow crops in the fields and have a herd of cows, a herd of sheep up in the nearby hill, horses in the stables and a big ol’ chicken coop. they make their living by selling their milk/butter/eggs to the nearby town and every day dew is up before the sunrise to milk the cows. he and mountain pass each other and share a quiet, sleepy conversation and a kiss when they pass each other on their way to their respective tasks (dew to the barn for the cows, and mountain to the stables to ready the horse and cart for his daily milk run)

aeon has a soft spot for the chickens so rain and cirrus are teaching him how to take proper care of them. he was entirely horrified when he first learnt that he needs to feed the chickens their own eggshells along with their regular pellets and kitchen scraps

aurora has a soft spot for the sheep. she’d stand up on the hill and watch them for hours if she could. she trained the sheep dog herself and everyone calls her “little bo peep” whenever they see her coming back down to the house. sunshine bought her a shepard’s staff as a joke but aurora LOVES it and refuses to visit her sheep without it

since aeon’s taken over the chickens, rain decided the farm needed bees and now he’s got a few hives going. they sit just outside the kitchen windows so whoever’s working in their can open the window and hear the gentle hum of the bees while they cook. cirrus helps rain harvest the honey when it needs it and they both take great pride in the labels they designed. they’re working hard to convince mountain to take some of their jars on his milk cart rounds to see if he can sell some in town

aether’s a horse girlie <3 he grooms them well and makes sure their coats are shiny and pretty and that they’re all healthy enough to be pulling the farm machinery in the fields

sunshine’s self-imposed daily talk is going around the farm making sure everything has water. that includes the animal’s water bowels/troughs and that the collection of houseplants, the vege garden and the fruit orchid. she has a collection of watering cans but her green one with flowers painted on it in her favourite

swiss works the dairy room. he takes the milk from dew in the mornings and keeps some as milk (making sure he’s run it through a milk separator before he bottles it), some he churns for butter and some he sets aside to turn into cream

cumulus loooooves the wheat field <3 if no one knows where she is, the first place they look is there. she finds it calming to stand in between the furrows and watch everything sway in the wind. she’s the one who drives the battered old truck down to the flour mill a few hours away and brings back bags filled with soft flour (she sells most of it, but keeps a few bags for the farm so they can use their own flour in their baking)

speaking of baking and cooking, they all share the responsibilities of the kitchen depending on who’s done what that day but they all have things that they’re the go-to to make it. cumulus and her breads are renowned throughout the land (no seriously, she’s had people come to the farm asking to buy her bread) and she gets so much joy from carving little designs into her sourdough loaves and seeing how they turn out once they’re baked. cirrus is the BEST at making omelettes and she has a special knack for knowing which eggs will have double yolks in them. rain is surprisingly good at barbecuing/grilling and cooks roasts fantastically well with the perfect seasoning and melt-in-the-mouth deliciousness. aether the king of baking will bake so many sweet treats and they’re all soooo tasty and addictive. he’s mastered almost everything but they got a new stand mixer for their kitchen and he has No Idea how to work it so he mixes everything by hand. luckily, aurora knows exactly how it works so sometimes she and aeth will tag-team in the kitchen to make things faster. they also love decorating things together and aurora is fantastic at plating their dinners up so elegantly. aeon can cook curries and rice and that’s IT but no one else can get the rice cooked quite as well as they can, so no one’s really complaining. dew and mountain are the best at cooking warm comfort meals and soups in the winter so if neither of them are busy and someone is in need of a little extra cheering up, they’ll make the person’s favourite comfort meal to keep their spirits up and remind them of how much they’re loved. swiss and pizzas OH MAN. he can do all the fancy spinning tricks with the pizza dough and they always come out of the pizza oven (he and aurora only finished building it a few weeks ago) perfectly cooked through. he loves preparing pizza nights for everyone where he’ll prepare the dough and toppings on the massive kitchen table and let everyone roll their own dough and choose their own toppings before he puts them all in the oven and calls everyone to their meal when it’s ready. sunshine is the queen of soups and salads. she can whip together a soup or a salad out of practically thin air and they’re always so tasty and pair perfectly with whatever else is being made for dinner that night

they all help out with everything (both in the kitchen and with tasks around the farm) especially when it’s time to harvest the fields and it’s all hands on deck to get everything done, but in my mind these are their main tasks/favourite things to do around their little country farm <3

CG Kitana w/ Babyspace Regressor Mileena MK1 Hcs

💙 Before Tanya became Mileena's main CG, Kitana was Mileena’s main CG (and still kinda is)

🩷 Mileena mostly regresses to a toddler headspace

💙 But, especially after she got Tartak, she began regressing very younger

🩷 When Mileena first started baby regressing, it's was almost always negative 

💙 Either her new disease threatening her, or her Mother's words, or the rumors the People would spread

🩷 She'd end up incredibly small, fussy, and clinging to her sister for comfort

💙 Kitana stuck with her during this time, gently shushing her cries, holding her closely

🩷 Kitana knew the risks of what could happen if she was near Mileena while her Tarkat was acting up

💙 When this happened, she'd swaddle Mileena in a very specific blanket bought just for these occasions, and lay at least a body next to her in bed

🩷 If we ignore canon and Tarkat isn't spread by touch, Kitana will gently shush and rock Mileena as the poor baby cries over how her body hurts

💙 Luckily, overtime, her regressing to babyspace became less negative and more her having an extremely tough day and regressing super small

🩷 ^ Especially after she became Empress, people are big meanies sometimes >:(

💙 Mileena is usually a very good baby, but sometimes she likes being a brat!! >:)

🩷 She'll be snuggling up to Kitana’s side one minute, and then chewing on one of her sia’s the next minute

💙 Unfortunately (luckily) Kitana’s a big meanie and will put all their weapons onto high spaces

🩷 Mileena really likes comfy onesies and Kitana likes spoiling her loved ones (so she has like, a thousand and one in every color <3)

💙 Mileena doesn't really care about her hair being done

🩷 But Kitana loves putting her sister's hair into cute styles (adores tieing bows into her hair too)

💙 Luckily, they can settle this very easily

🩷 By that I mean thar Mileena will sit on a comfy pillow on the floor and chew on her chewie ring and watching her favorite show while Kitana does her hair

💙 Mileena will screech is Kitana tugs too hard, no ifs or buts (also finds it funny, but will pout instead of giggle)

🩷 Because of Mileena’s teeth, Kitana and her spent hours trying to find a good chew ring for her (it was trial and error for a long time)

💙 Mileena use to grt super fussy and cry in Kitana’s arms everytime one of her chewies broke

🩷 Mostly because her chew rungs are her comfort objects (she can't use pacis because of her teeth)

Y/N's POV:

"I miss Jude. Not Jude. I miss what Jude used to be. Even if we weren't anything but cuddly friends, I miss when he used to talk to me. I can't believe he's pretending like nothing happened. I gave him my whole heart, and he just took it and smushed it into a billion pieces. And now he has the audacity to bring these girls that he's fucking with to the hang outs I PLAN. I can't not invite him. That would make it so awkward, but the least he could do is not rub it in my face." I'm laying down on my bed on my bed, my head hanging upside down from the end as Phoenix sits on my desk chair, scrolling on her phone while listening to my rants.

"I swear, if he brings someone here I'm going to kill him." She tells me. I've decided to invite my girls and their boyfriends to my apartment for some games and drinks. No more that 10 people. And of course with that, comes Jude. He's, without fail, brought a different girl to our hangouts, which is fine, but since this is a more intimate event, it would be to purely prove a point to me.

I simply sigh at Phoenix's statement. "You need to get hot tonight. Make him realize what he's missing. You need to wear and do everything you know drives him crazy. His lil' whore is gonna show up in a skimpy dress, hoping to turn him on, but you know what makes him tick. That'll show him what he's lost." I feel a gear click in my brain. I'm the person Jude talked to about all of his girls, and what he likes in them.

Phoenix has been ready for the past 15 minutes and I'm getting ready. I have my hair up in a half up half down ponytail using a claw clip. I have my hair curly. I deck myself out in some gold and the necklace that Jude gave me in middle school. It has a 'j' on it. I leave the chain hanging on my neck and put on a white lacy choker.

"Really? Jude is into Little Bo Peep?" She asks me, raising her eyebrows at me. "Hey, Little Bo Peep is finding her sheep. Leave her be." I tell her, pouting and clipping my earrings. Phoenix comes up to me and squeezes my cheeks and shakes my face side to side. "You look adorbs." She tells me, slapping my face lightly. I hit her hand away and start cat fighting with her. We start laughing together as we hear the doorbell ring.

"Hello!!" I say, pulling Jane and Josiah into a hug. "Come in. Come in. Make yourself at home." I tell them. Jane helps me set up some things in the kitchen while Josiah and Phoenix move the table and couches in the living room to the ends of the room, making space to dance. Over time, people, including Phoenix's man, start to filter in. Everyone except he who shall not be named at his arm candy for the night. "Y/N, you really outdid yourself." Alex says, taking a bite out of some cheese and ham filled crackers. "Well, I did just assemble them, but thanks." I tell him, giggling. My happiness is quickly interrupted by a very familiar voice. I look over to the door where I see Jude and his girl of the night. I beautiful blonde girl, wearing a dress that leaves very little to the imagination. Jude takes his round greeting everyone and introducing his new girl. As I watch them walk up to Phoenix, Jude having to greet her because she's his best friend's girl, she quickly says some sly remark to Jude while wishing the girl luck. I suppose Phoenix and I have the same narrative about her, an innocent girl who doesn't know what she's getting into.

"Let's play a game!" Phoenix announces loudly. She quickly grabs some glasses, tequila, and an empty bottle. She seats us all in a circle, her sitting to the right of me and the left of her boyfriend. "Are we really playing spin the bottle?" I ask her. "No! We're playing dare or dare." She says. "Dare or dare?" Jude's blondie asks. "Yes, dare or dare. Truth or dare gets kind of boring since your man is such a pussy. He only chooses truth." She says. Jude's girl starts nudging him and laughing along with the group. She immediately stops when she looks at his face, his jaw is clenched and he's staring dead at Phoenix, while saying something to her. This poor girl. (we're a girls girl here+nate jacobs type beat)

"Okay, Y/n. Your turn." Milly says, passing me the bottle. I spin it and it lands on Alex. Now he gets to give me a dare. I look over to Jude and he's looking as mad as ever. Phoenix grabs Alex's face and whispers something in his ear. "Umm...Okay? Kiss her or take a shot." He says, pointing at Phoenix. Alex and Phoenix have a relatively open relationship. "Oh. Umm. Sure, why not?" Phoenix was my first kiss anyway. Once she found out that I still hadn't had my first kiss yet, she decided to help me out. Phoenix nudges me and points at Jude. He looks even madder than before. His girl is trying to comfort him, but is just getting pushed off.

Phoenix grabs me and puts me on her lap. She starts kissing me. I don't feel anything since we're just friends, but she is an amazing kisser, I can't lie. I walk into Y/N's room and slam the door shut while Emery follows behind me. "Jude, I'm sorry." She says. What is this girl on about? "Why are you apologizing?" I ask her, annoyed. "I'm just sorry you're upset. I wanted this to be a good night for you. I don't know what you're upset about, but I'm here for you-" She rambles on. This girl talks way too much. I need to shut her up. I grab her by her shoulder and push her onto her knees. I sit down on the edge of her bed and take off my pants and shove my dick in her mouth. She's gagging and spitting around it. That is fucking disgusting. I hear Y/N laughing outside. She looked so beautiful today. She knows exactly what I like and she took advantage of that. I’m not sure if you can tell from how I write this but I don’t go to too many Halloween parties XD I really liked writing for Bam early on in his Jackass career in this one, but yet again I like writing for Bam in general. “Come on, Bam! One couple’s costume isn’t gonna kill you.” Rolling your eyes at the sound of your boyfriend groaning, you smeared on white face paint in the bathroom mirror, the sink below you crowded with containers of various products. “Its fuckin’ stupid! I mean,” He reluctantly peeled himself off of his spot on your bed, walking to the bathroom to squint over your shoulder at your reflection, “A ‘Bampire’? Really?”

You turned to him, your faces so close you swore you got makeup on him, “Yes. It was either that or Lamb Margera, and I didn’t feel like being Little Bo Peep. So there.” Not to mention, you thought he’d look adorable in the whole cape and puffy shirt getup. Planting a peck on his cheek, you went back to your makeup before you felt his hands snake around your waist as Bam leaned in towards you, mumbling against your neck, “Fine…but on one condition.” God, it was so easy to get to him. You nearly giggled as he continued, his teeth grazing your skin, “I get’t bite you tonight.” Oh, there was no way you could say no to that. “Alright…” You feigned annoyance, “Just not too hard?”

A Halloween party the two of you went to would be a good way for you to meet some of your boyfriend's new friends, you thought, gazing out the window as you drove along dim streets. As of one month prior he was a tv star, which you still hadn’t gotten over yet, but all you knew about what he did was the new and progressively grosser injuries he came home with. When you imagined his co-stars, you pictured a room full of cool extreme dudes that wear lots of baggy jeans and listen to edgy music.

So when you opened the door, you were kinda surprised. “Hey, sexy!” A man who could have been the real life Tarzan clad in the tightest patent leather playboy bunny costume, complete with satin bunny ears and black high heels, grinned at your boyfriend, leaning against the doorframe. Woah. You couldn’t deny, this guy pulled it off. Talking over the loud music, you chatted with him and Bam for a while about the show and how well everything was going with the show- they might even be getting renewed another season in a few months! Oh, you were so excited to hear you leaned over and planted one on your boyfriend’s cheek. He rolled his eyes childishly, keeping up his tough guy exterior as you giggled. Suddenly, with your arms wrapped around his shoulders, something caught your attention from the corner of your eye- a rainbow blur followed by a fireball from the far side of the marble counter that lit up the dim, crowded room in a hot orange glow before, just as quickly, flickering out. You could hear Bam, and everyone else at the party, cheering for the guy in the multicolored clown costume as he landed with exaggerated bravado. One the applause died down, he made his way over to you and Bam, grabbing a couple beers from the fridge. Your boyfriend grinned, taking one from him, “That wath, like- theriously gnarly dude.” As much as he tried to downplay the lisp, you really found it kind of cute, but he’d kill you if you said that in front of his buddies. Bam threw his arm around you, “Thith ith Y/N. ” His huge pupils almost looked like a part of his clown makeup as he fist bumped you, speaking with a voice that sounded like he gargled tacks, “Hey, dude! Wanna beer?” Before you could answer, one was already in your hands, but it’s not like you would deny a beer from a clown. Bam chuckled as the clown left as soon as he arrived, “And that wath Theve…”

The party buzzed hotly around you, just so many people doing so many substances- a hotbed of sweaty activity. Not really listening to whatever you were saying to him at this point, Bam glanced over your shoulder, eyes widening as he gestured to someone just out of your line of sight to come over. A few moments later, you felt a broad shoulder brush against your arm and you turned. God, he looked straight out of one of those old westerns, especially with the way he tipped that black cowboy hat as he smirked, leaning down to you and drawling sweetly, “Howdy.” God, why does your boyfriend have so many hot friends? You chuckled as Bam took to introducing him, “Thith ith Johnny, n’heth probably the cooleth dude here bethideth mythelf.” Johnny chuckled, cracking a crooked smile, “Aww, you flatter me.” Thinking of something, he turned to look towards the living room, “Hey, me’n the fellas are settin’ up ‘Pin The Dick On The Jackass’ over there. Wanna join?”

That’s how you ended up holding a brass tack with a giant red construction paper penis dangling from your hand. You nervously stared at the bubble butt in front of you, not wanting to stick Chris and probably give him tetanus. “C’mon, c’mon- just do it!” He giggled, looking back at you with an unexpected level of giddiness. Somebody get me a beer!” You couldn’t help yourself but to smile a little- these guys know how to have a good time.

“Really? A couple’s costume? Cute.” Ryan stood with his arms folded, leaning against one wall on the sidelines of the action. Bam rolled his eyes, “Oh yeah? N’whatre you thuppothed to be? Evel Kinevil?” Propping his helmet up on his hip, Ryan turned to him, grinning, “First off, I’m a motocross dude. Second of all,” He pointed to you in the center of the circle of people, “Y/N’s hand’s gettin’ pretty damn close to asses that aren’t yours. ‘You gonna do anything about that?” Ryan knew to play on Bam’s jealous streak concerning you, bored and wanting to see something happen.

Johnny gazed into the water of the big tin bucket, “Jesus…if you’re that bad with your mouth, I’d worry for Y/N…” Yanking his head up, water dripped down Bam’s forehead as he shot a glare at the cowboy, “Yeah, tho I’m gettin’ the damn apple!” It had been five minutes. Dunn chuckled, his teasing from earlier seeming to have done its job in making the party more interesting. You found it kind of cute to watch him frantically searching around for an apple, the fangs stuck to his teeth in no way helping him bite one. After what felt like forever, he whipped his head up, water spraying everywhere as he emerged victorious with the crisp apple wedged firmly in his teeth. “Alright dude!” Steve came up all smiles, patting him on the back with a gloved hand, leaning in, “By the way, I totally pissed in that water.”

“Are- are you theriouth?” Bam received a nod. Laughing, Steve got punched in the arm by your reasonably pissed off boyfriend (no pun intended), leading you to imagine this sort of thing was pretty routine for them. Gross. You could only wonder what other bodily fluids have been on him. As he stormed off to the bathroom, you felt a familiar hand grasp yours, leading you away from the hot crowd. Oh. Oh? Ducking down a dark hallway, you trailed behind Bam, not even thinking about how wet his hand was as the liquid dripped down your fingers.

Closing the door behind you, it was like you had just stepped into your own little world away from the chaos of the party. He turned his head to the side, spitting the fangs out in the sink before dipping his head and closing in on your neck. You held your breath, but he seemed to hesitate for a second, watching your tense reaction with a smirk. He was playing with his food. Finally, after what felt like forever, you felt his teeth sink into your flesh.

You let out a whimper, not even noticing when the unlocked door to your side creaked open. Hell, you didn’t even pick up on it once the snickers started pouring in, too consumed by the purple, throbbing hickey Bam was presently biting into your neck. It took Chris leaning in, asking, “Hey, can I get one next?” To shake you out or your trance, whipping your head around at the crowd as they childishly giggled and gaged in mock disgust. Your face somehow turned redder than before, but Bam didn’t seem to be bothered in the slightest, chuckling, “How much’a that did you guys catch?” Johnny grinned, leaning against the door jamb, “Just enough.”

If these magic paintbrushes could make portals and butterflies (and food, courtesy of Wakko) it only stood to reason they could make other stuff, right? Stuff like clothes for a masked ball.

It was Dot’s idea. She grabbed her brush and painted a brand new ballgown onto the wall of their tower. It was a soft pink with lace trim, patterned with tiny daisies on the sleeves. The whole dress shimmered like it had been coated in glitter. All in all, it was a dress that screamed Dot Warner. Giggling, Dot bounced right into the painting.

There was bright pink light, and Dot was suddenly wearing the dress. With a flourish, she painted a diamond tiara for herself and placed it on her head, grinning. 

“Not bad if I say so myself,” she said proudly, hands on her hips.

“Faboo!” Wakko agreed, giving her two thumbs up. He looked at his own paintbrush and pouted. “Hm...” A lightbulb appeared above his head; Wakko snatched it down and chewed it absentmindedly. 

“Any ideas?” Yakko asked him.

“I think...Oh! I got it!” Wakko painted all over himself frantically, leaving trails of blue light everywhere, flashing across their room and completely hiding Wakko from view.

When the glowing faded, they were greeted to an odd sight: Wakko wore a bonnet like Little Bo Peep; his suit was two sizes too big, patterned with flowers, butterflies and hamburgers. His tie was an offensive shade of neon green.

“Ta-da!”

“No,” Dot said flatly. Yakko bit his fist to keep from cackling. A tiny choked laugh escaped despite his best efforts.

“Aww...” Wakko sulked, but Dot grabbed him and painted over his...Um...Ensemble. 

“It was a good idea,” Yakko lied, lips twitching as he still fought his laughter. “Just, uuuuhhhh...A little bit much, bro.”

“It was hideous,” Dot huffed. “I simply can’t be seen in public with you looking like that.” 

The outfit Dot summoned for Wakko was more fitting for a masked ball: a midnight blue suit (she’d even painted tiny stars all over it that shone like the real ones in the sky) with a silver tie. To appease Wakko, she painted him a big red badge shaped like a lollipop. 

“Ooh!” Wakko grinned at his reflection in the mirror, bouncing in place. “I like it!”

“Your turn, Yak!” Dot turned to him with an excited gleam in her eyes. “You wanna impress your ‘friend,’ right?”

Yakko was not blushing at the thought of the toon-boy they’d met, no sir. The strange, bumbling and incredibly sweet guy who let out a loud “Hyuk!” when he laughed and readily agreed to help Yakko, Wakko and Dot search for clues about their parents. He’d been the one to invite them to this ball in the first place.

“I’ll find you later,” he promised.

“But we’ll all be wearing masks,” Yakko pointed out.

Their new friend’s grin softened. He took Yakko’s hand and said, “I don’t think there’s any chance of missing you, Yakko.”

Yeah. There was that. Man, crushes were weird. Exciting, but weird.

Smiling, Yakko turned to the mirror and got to work. He tried to imagine the very best outfit he could, remembering all the fairytales he and his little siblings had read over the years. He thought of all the illustrations of balls and banquets, and let the magic paintbrush do its job.

The light was almost blinding but, when it faded, Yakko was wearing a brand new outfit: a long purple coat patterned with gold, black slacks, a soft lavender shirt and a black tie with tiny flecks of gold on it.

Smiling, Dot tapped her paintbrush against his shoulder, and his coat suddenly glimmered like her dress and Wakko’s suit.

“There,” she said happily. “We all match.”

Yakko grinned and pulled Dot and Wakko into a tight hug. They were getting out of here. They were really leaving and, this time, they weren’t coming back. They’d never have to see this tower or Salazar again. 

Maybe they’d even find their parents after all.

And, as soon as Yakko saw that boy again, he could finally ask his name without fear of Salazar hurting him. 

“This is gonna be the best night ever,” Yakko promised his siblings. “Just you wait.”
