I hate how some people's mentality is set that Nancy Drew is all about Locked rooms, keys and hidden staircases. (And henceforth the hate the show gets saying it's off the charts, or nothing like books) When it's so much more!!!
It's about a team... FRIENDSHIPS; a non blood related FAMILY that they never asked for. It's about family bloodline, the past, and secrets linked to it. And most importantly, it's about LOVE. Unconditional love that is worth sacrificing oneself so that that other person lives. It's about souls that are tangled for eternity.
So, don't just say Nancy Drew show is not book based, just coz you can't understand it.

Hey guys, so I may be late to this realization/it may be common knowledge, but I just was looking on the fandom wiki page, and saw the ND book name that KEY is based off of (‘Diamond Deceit’), so I clicked on it to read more about it, and then as I read, I saw the original publication month of the book. Y’all, it was published in May! The game’s coming out in May! That may not mean anything, but I thought it was quite fitting.
Also, could we have figured out the release month of the game that way, or did HER not plan that and it was just coincidence? On the other hand, I wonder if the game’s been ready to go for awhile and they’ve just been waiting for May? 🤷🏼♀️😅

I'm currently working my way through Nancy Drew, Geronimo Stilton, and Backyardigans again, and I gotta say - this is great.

I'm gonna say this in the loosest most bastardized way that I can, but I absolutely adore how ghostwriters will absolutely abuse the fact that Carson has his own law firm as an excuse for him to do whatever the hell he wants.
Although there is some amount of "wiggle-room" in real life with lawyers in Carson's position, I know it's not even remotely close to being accurate but Carson can get away with it because he's just that good of a lawyer and he owns his own business.
He is technically a criminal prosecutor. But also a defense attorney whenever he feels like it. Or Nancy asks him to do it because he will do anything for her. Sometimes if he's bored he'll look into real estate law or if Nancy asks him to do it. And then also estate planning, environmental law, animal rights, business, immigration, employment, medical malpractice, and anything else a general practice attorney would do without actually ever calling himself one because he does have a specialty.
The ghostwriters were really like, "Carson Drew can do whatever the fuck he wants because he's Carson Drew" and that is fantastic.
And now you know why Nancy is the way that she is

Next fairy in the lineup is Nancy Drew! At least my modern interpretation of her, with an earth fairy design. And mismatching eye colors because why not?
🔍The Fairy of Mystery 🔎 Equiped with a magical magnifying glass that is basically the Lense of Truth!
Do you think she deserves a better form?

Getting geared up to read some Nancy Drew books since a friend of mine gifted me a bunch.
A few years back I read The Secret of the Old Clock, so I’ll jump back in with Book 2- The Hidden Staircase by Carolyn Keene.
