Chapter 21: The Tickle Community Flags

Luigi and Mario head home from their dinner with their family. Mario learns about the tickle community flags, while Luigi learns how to be honest about what tickles he desires.

They are back! This fanfic will talk a slight bit about the fetish community, but only about the flags. And I promise that this time, Luigi doesn't have an opinion on the whole thing. He's just neutral, and that's how it'll stay. I hope you enjoy.

After they got home, Mario and Luigi plopped themselves onto the couch for a few moments. “Gosh…What a night…” Mario muttered breathlessly.

Strangely enough, Luigi didn’t respond to his brother. In fact, the only answer Mario got from his brother was pre-recorded laughter coming from Luigi’s phone.

Mario turned to look at Luigi, immediately recognizing the laughter. He leaned in to look at the video, and started laughing softly as he watched the funny video of Uncle Arthur and Uncle Tony tickling the hell out of their Papa. “I always knew Papa was ticklish, but…not this ticklish.” Mario added.

Luigi giggled. “I know, right?! Makes me wanna get him back for all those years of him playing the tickle monster.” Luigi admitted.

Mario chuckled. “I might just offer to help you.” Mario added.

Luigi looked at Mario with surprise. “Wait, really?!” Luigi reacted.

“Well, yeah. Revenge was bound to happen eventually, right?” Mario added.

Luigi chuckled. “True…”

Mario turned to look at Luigi. “You said you had flags to show me?” Mario asked.

Luigi nodded and hummed, pulling up the picture for the ticklee flag. “This was the flag I was gonna show you first.” Luigi admitted as he showed his phone to Mario.

Mario looked at the picture and smiled. “Usually the colors mean something. What do they mean?” Mario asked.

Luigi chuckled and looked at Mario. “The dark blue and turquoise colors are supposed to represent trust and security.” He said. “I don’t know which represents which, but I do know for sure that the yellow line in the middle represents laughter.” Luigi added, pointing to the yellow stripe in the middle.

Mario nodded and smiled as he scrolled down. “What about red and pink?” Mario asked.

“The red and pink and yellow flag is the tickler flag. I think the red represents excitement, and the pink represents playfulness.” Luigi admitted.

And the blue, turquoise, yellow, pink and red flag represents switches?” Mario asked with a smirk.

“Y-Yes.” Luigi replied.

Mario smiled and pointed to the Tumblr. “Who’s @your-fav-loves-tickles?” Mario asked.

“Oh! They came up with the flags. They also used to upload these pictures of characters with their respective flags on it, stating that ‘this character is a [blank]’.” Luigi explained. “For example: “Freddy Fazbear is a lee.” Luigi explained.

“Is that confirmed?” Mario asked.

Luigi shrugged his shoulders. “I think Tumblr deleted their account, sadly…” Luigi admitted.

Mario clicked his tongue. “That sucks…” Mario muttered.

“But the flag post has been reblogged so much through the community, that…no one has forgotten the creator.” Luigi added. “We can’t open their Tumblr anymore, but we know their name.” Luigi mentioned.

Mario smiled and clicked the back button on Google, and tilted his head when he saw them. “Is this…” Mario turned Luigi’s phone to show him the light purple and dark purple striped flag with feathers on it. And beside it, was a dark blue and black striped flag with red feathers on it.

Luigi hummed. “Right, that’s the tickle fetish flag.” Luigi replied.

Mario hummed. “Fetish flag?” Mario asked. Luigi nodded his head. “Yup. Some people like tickling for different reasons. Some people like it for innocent reasons, some people like it for sexual reasons.” Luigi explained. “And some people like it for both.” Luigi explained.

Mario looked at the flags. “So these lee, ler and switch flags don’t represent both sides?” Mario asked.

“Nope. The NSFW side has its own set of flags.” Luigi told him.

Mario nodded his head and looked up [tickle flag] on his own phone. “Which flag do you go by?” Mario asked.

“The switch flag.” Luigi replied. “What about you?” Luigi asked with a smile.

Mario looked up at Luigi. “I’m not really part of the community.” Mario admitted.

“But you’re an ally.” Luigi added.

Mario chuckled. “I guess…but…” Mario muttered.

Luigi smiled. “That counts, Mario. Just like with the LGBTQ+ community, we need ally’s just as much as we need members.” Luigi told him. “In fact, in this community, we’re in dire need of ally’s.” Luigi added.

Mario smiled and clicked something on his screen. “Switch flag: printed.” Mario said as he got up.

Luigi watched as Mario got up off the couch. “Printed?? For what?” Luigi asked.

Mario smiled. “For representation.” Mario told him. “You deserve a tickle pride flag on your wall.” Mario told him.

Luigi smiled brightly and got up off the couch. He ran to the kitchen, grabbed the scissors and removed some pieces of tape while Mario took the paper off the printer and cut out the switch pride flag. Placing it upside down in front of his brother, Luigi rolled the tape pieces up and placed the tape pieces onto the back of the paper, before putting the paper flag up onto the wall. “There.” Luigi said, smiling as he looked at the wall.

“It’s perfect.” Mario said with a smile. “But…One more thing:” Mario taped something else up on the wall. “There. Now it’s perfect.” Mario said before crossing his arms.

Luigi looked at the wall and blushed deeply upon seeing it…It was the purple feather from back when they were at the daycare. Luigi sighed and rubbed his arm as a wobbly smile grew onto his face.

Mario giggled. “Did I put you in a lee mood?” Mario asked.

Luigi whined and covered his mouth. “Noooo.” Luigi muttered.

Mario smirked and leaned in. “You wouldn’t happen to be lying now…would you?” Mario asked.

Luigi uncovered his right eye using his fingers, and looked down. “.....Maaaybe…” Luigi muttered next.

Mario giggled and wiggled his fingers at him. “Tickle tickle~” he teased.

Luigi squeaked and covered his eyes again, shaking his head. “Nooohohohooo.” Luigi whimpered.

“Tickle tickle tickle~” Mario teased again, bringing his fingers closer to Luigi while wiggling his fingers slightly faster.

Luigi let out a few squeaky giggles and doubled over slightly, bending his knees while he slightly curled himself up like an adorable hedgehog.

“What’s another tease…Oh! Coochy coochy coo~!” Mario teased, poking Luigi’s right side.

Luigi squeaked and uncovered his face, curling away from the finger before giggling from pure bashfulness. “EEEheheheeee! Mahario nooo!” Luigi begged.

“Okay.” Mario replied, stopping. “But what about the ears?” He asked, bringing his hand up to Luigi’s left ear.

Despite the visible need to move away, Luigi pushed through and let Mario’s finger tickle against his ear. “Swirly-swirly-swirly-swirrrrl~” Mario teased.

Luigi let out many squeaky giggles, snorting occasionally. “Heeheeheeheehee! *snort* Nuhuhuhuuuu!” Luigi giggled.

“Ooohoho, but yes!!” Mario then did the unthinkable: He started scratching on the back part of Luigi’s ear…

And Luigi squealed super loudly and curled his neck, before giggling all hysterically. “HAHAHAhahahahaha! Whyhyhy thehehehere?!” Luigi asked, skittering away and holding the back of his ear.

Mario chuckled. “Because someone mentioned they liked being tickled there.” Mario reminded him. “Someone I happen to know very, very well…” he added.

Luigi bit his lip and looked down. The difficult part was…he had a point. He had a big point. He had told Mario on Monday night that he loved ear tickles. And…he was going to either regret saying it, or be thankful for saying it. Or maybe a mix of both…who knows.

Luigi let out a breath. “Okahahahay.” Luigi replied.

Mario stopped tickling. “Okay what? Okay ‘that’s enough’? Or ‘okay I want more’?” Mario asked next.

“The…the second option.” Luigi admitted.

“What was the second option again?” Mario asked, acting completely oblivious.

Luigi whined and audibly groaned. “Mario, Stoooop!” Luigi whined.

“I’m not doing anything! I’m just asking you to clarify what you mean by ‘the second option’.” Mario told him.

Luigi grunted and covered his face. “You suck.” Luigi muttered.

“Like a vacuum?” Mario teased.

Luigi couldn’t stop the laugh that left his mouth. “No, like a leaf blower.” Luigi replied.

Mario laughed a bit at that. “Well, I don’t know how else to explain this: Tell me what you want, and where you want it.” Mario told him.

“Ihi wahahant more tickles…on my ears.” Luigi told him.

“Very well!” Mario walked up and started tickling his right ear gently with his fingers. “Ear tickles coming right up.”

Luigi snorted right away and tilted his head towards the fingers, giggling and showing off his dorky, toothy smile right away. “Ohohoho gohohohosh! Hahahahahaha!” Luigi laughed.

Mario smiled and tickled around the crevices and folds of Luigi’s ears. “Coochy coochy coochy coo, Luigi~!” Mario teased. “Listen to that perfect little Lee-uigi laugh!” Mario teased.

Luigi could feel the warm blush on his face heating up upon hearing that. Baby teases?! AND nicknames?! Why must he do this to him?! What part made him start teasing in this fashion?! Was it the fact that he lied before?! Is his brother looking for an apology from him for lying to him?!

“Yohohohou’re beheheing uhuhunfahahair!” Luigi reacted.

Mario smirked. “Oh I am, am I?” Mario teased.

“Yeheah!” Luigi replied rather confidently considering the circumstances.

Mario shook his head. “If this is unfair…” Mario then laid Luigi down onto the floor and gently placed his hand onto Luigi’s cheek to keep his head turned to the side. With his head effectively immobilized, Mario started dragging his finger very slowly around the folds of his ear. “Then THIS must be SUPER unfair.” Mario added in actuality.

Luigi started wiggling his limbs around and giggling in short spurts as he struggled to cope with such slow, overwhelmingly evil tickles. To make matters worse (or better), Luigi’s head was being held down in a position that limited his movements from the shoulders up. So even if he wanted to shake his head, he just couldn’t. The fact that Mario had the palm of his hand flat against the cheek with his fingers on the facial muscles surrounding the ear…it was something only a skilled tickle community member could possibly come up with. There had to be something he wasn’t telling him. Because no person ever masters a skill in a week! How can someone outside of the community know so many tickle strategies in so little time?!

“Ihihihi’m sohohorryhyhy.” Luigi admitted.

“For what? You didn’t do anything.” Mario asked next.

Luigi looked at him. “Yohou’re not-” Luigi moved Mario’s hand away from his ear. He tried his best to keep talking despite his face being pushed down somewhat. “You’re not mad that I lied to you earlier?” Luigi asked.

Mario tilted his head. “You lied to me? When?” Mario asked, genuinely forgetting. He removed his hand from Luigi’s cheek, letting Luigi turn his head back forward.

“Wh-…” Luigi looked up and bit his lip. “When I said I wasn’t in a lee mood…and then you said ‘are you lying to me’.” Luigi admitted.

Mario chuckled. “No. I’m not mad about that at all.” Mario admitted. “I know that you lie when you want to be tickled.” Mario said. “You…You seriously thought I was gonna be mad at you for that?” Mario asked.

Luigi bit his lip and nodded his head. “If you were mad…then I might get tickled more…” Luigi admitted.

Mario chuckled and closed his eyes as he shook his head with a smile. “Luigi…you wanted ear tickles, right? That’s what I was giving you. Do you want me to continue? Or do you wanna go to bed?” Mario asked him.

Luigi smiled and turned his head to the left side again. “A couple more minutes…then I can go to bed.” Luigi told him.

“Hear you loud and clear!” Mario placed his right hand on Luigi’s right ear. But then, Mario moved Luigi’s head forward so his head was straight. With the head straightened out, Mario placed the left fingers on his left ear and started to skitter. “How about I do both ears this time?” Mario asked.

Luigi jumped and started letting out squeaky giggles with snorts in between. “EEEheeehee! *snort* Ohoho- *snort* Ohohoho gohosh! *snort* Heeheehehehe!” Luigi giggled.

“Which ear tickles more? The right?” Mario tickled the right ear only.

Luigi snorted and covered his mouth instinctively, not wanting Mario to hear his snort. “MMMHMHMHMHmhmhmhmmm!” Luigi let out a muffled whine.

“Hey!” Mario tickled his fingers onto the skin right behind the ear. “No covering up your laugh. You know this.” Mario ordered as he booped his nose.

Luigi squeezed his eyes shut as he uncovered his mouth. “NAHAHAHA!” Luigi cackled. When Mario moved his right fingers back onto the right ear, He went back to calmer laughter. “Hahahahaha! HEheheheheheee!” Luigi giggled.

“Alright, good. What about the left?” Mario asked, tickling his left ear alone with his left hand. “Does the left tickle more?” He asked.

Luigi snorted yet again. “HAhahahahaha! Kihihindahaha? Ihihi thihihink?” Luigi replied.

“I see.” Mario replied.

Luigi did all he could to not cover up his mouth. He didn’t want the secret spot to be tickled again. Not yet, anyway. But when I say it was hard, it was REALLY hard. To the point that Luigi’s laughter sounded slightly strained, and not entirely freeing. And it didn’t take long for Mario to notice this. He stopped his hands. “You look like you’re struggling. Do you want me to keep your hands out of the way for you? Or do you want to be allowed to cover your mouth?” Mario asked.

Luigi looked up at Mario and thought for a moment. “Just…I think I want to cover my mouth.” Luigi admitted.

Mario nodded his head and straightened Luigi’s head. “Let’s give this a try.” Mario told him as he started to flutter his fingers on the ear.

Luigi giggled and started snorting almost right away. “HEhehehehehe- *snort* HAHAhahahaha! *snort* Gahahahahaha-” Luigi finally covered his mouth and continued giggling while muffling them with his hand.

“So cute…” Mario teased. “I can’t wait to tell Peach about this tomorrow.” Mario teased.

Luigi uncovered his mouth. “Wahahahait- Ahahabout whahahahat?” Luigi asked.

“About how adorable you are!” Mario replied. “Buhuhut- shehehe knohows thahahat.” Luigi replied.

“So you admit it?” Mario asked with a chuckle. “You admit that you’re cute?” Mario clarified.

Luigi whined and covered his face, growing more and more embarrassed. “Mmmhmhmhmhmhmm.” Luigi muffled.

Mario smirked and poked his belly button. “You didn’t answer me.” He told him. Luigi screeched and covered his belly, doubling over and laughing. “You admit that you’re adorable?” Mario asked again, grabbing his shoulder and poking his side repeatedly.

“Nohohoho!” Luigi replied, pushing Mario with his one hand as best he could. “Ihihi’m nohohohot!” Luigi told him.

Mario chuckled and poked Luigi a few more times before stopping. “There. You got your fill for the night?” Mario asked.

Luigi chuckled and nodded his head almost like a shy puppy. “Yeah…” he replied awkwardly.

“Alright. I’m gonna shower and head to bed.” Mario told him.

Luigi nodded and got himself into his PJ’s. “Sounds good.”

While Mario went to get ready for bed, Luigi hopped onto his phone and decided to do some fanfic reading while he waited. He checked up on any fanfictions from his online friends, and began to reply to new DM’s from his online friends. A lot of the posts he was seeing were posts about dealing with lee moods on their own…and how lonely that can get. And while he understood that…he felt really lucky in that regard. Lucky that he could just tell Mario about the tickle community. Lucky to have someone who can tickle him when he’s in a lee mood, and let Luigi tickle him when he’s in a ler mood. It felt…comforting for him…but almost unfair in that aspect. Because not everybody has a twin sibling that’s a member or an ally of the community.

Speaking of ler moods…reading all these stories had ended up stirring up a ler mood inside him. But…even if he wanted to act on it…he would have to wait till morning to do such a thing. Mario had to sleep. And frankly, Luigi should be asleep too. But he still couldn’t let go of the daydreams of tickle fights with his brother at 12am.

One hour turned to two hours. Two hours turned to three hours. And Luigi was still awake due to the overwhelming tickler mood. He could imagine himself making Mario laugh and cackle with just a few pokes to the ribs, or cackle thanks to a few skittering fingers in his armpits. Gosh, even the idea of poking in Mario’s belly button made him want to smile.

His imagination was going haywire, and he was struggling to stop it. The thoughts were driving him crazy…and the idea of waiting for morning was making time go way too slow. He could feel himself getting unbelievably antsy. He couldn’t sit still. The silence of the room was killing him…

Not able to take much more of this, Luigi quickly pulled out his phone. He pulled up a certain profile on Tumblr, and clicked the anonymous asking area. He started to type something into the message area, and checked it over. Then, he added his usual trademark hat emoji, before sending the message. Maybe someone in the tickle community would be able to help him out during this overwhelming, desperate ler mood.

Only one way to find out.

Official Fuck Raphael/Hope Appreciation Post

Okay, so this is probably going to upset people but I don't care. I'm real sick of this "Raphael is so hot" BS. Like, firstly, that man is MID at best. Secondly, are we not gonna talk about the fact this man is a certified abuser in every sense of the word? Like, sure he's sweet-talking and clever (most abusers are imo). Newsflash: real monsters are rarely people you find unattractive!!!

What really grinds my gears is that you can stumble on Raphael making a deal with a literal child re: my sweet baby Mol and people are like, "but he's hot though". You can walk through his fucking house filled with all the poor bastards who never stood a chance making a deal with him, stuck forever being punished for their "sins", and people will be like, "Omg, my little cringe man" like??? (Holy god, that whole quest fucked so hard with my religious trauma.)

But if not the BIGGEST fucking red flag for this public adoration of Raphael is how he's treated Hope. It's like to them, she doesn't even exist!! Like, my girl has been stuck in that House of Horrors for gods know how long, still refusing to give into his charms and his sweetly worded promises of power (unlike Korilla, who gladly abuses her sister for Raphael). And Hope helps you because for once, she finally sees a way out. The personal notes kept by Raphael on Hope's torment that you can find throughout the house are difficult to read: he tried to break her in the most insidious of ways. He was physically, emotionally, and mentally abusive to her, purely for his pleasure. Purely for the reason that he finds it amusing that he can literally torment Hope in hell.

I get that we don't have to morally approve of every character we like! For comparison on liking "bad" characters, say what you want about Astarion -- He's not a great guy! He's done some pretty bad shit! BUT he was FORCED to do all of those things by Cazador. (Also, kindly fuck the Cazador apologists, seriously.) Astarion's jaded selfishness is not who he really is, which is slowly revealed when you show respect for his personal autonomy and literally the smallest amount of kindness, whether or not you romance him. Raphael, on the other hand, wants to hurt people because it feeds into his "Daddy Mephistopheles didn't give me enough attention" superiority complex -- and tbh, that's just fucking pathetic.

The REAL OG who you all should be praising is Hope.

She has been tormented for centuries. She has been victimized by her own flesh and blood for her abuser. She has been shattered and ground down into her smallest pieces until there's almost nothing left… and yet, she hopes. She hopes for freedom. She hopes that her sister will return to being the person she so fondly remembers from her childhood. She hopes she can trust you, in spite of everything she's been through. Not to mention, when you do free her, Hope is literally one of the most badass companions you can have to help you win that fight! (For all these reasons and more, she reminds me a bit of my other fav girl Karlach.)

The reason Raphael delights in torturing Hope is because hope is a dangerous thing to have when all seems lost -- and that's the entire fucking point. This scared shitless little man sought to bend Hope to his will because her persistence/resistance threatened him, and by the gods, she is my favorite NPC because of that.

As someone who has been abused, by other people, by insidious ideologies, I can never ever, ever side with someone who so clearly mimics the very things that tried to break me and kill what remained of my hope. I see myself in Hope. Her indecision, her fear, as she dares to believe freedom is a possibility. The way her dialogue is delivered (much kudos to her voice actor) directly mimics that same scared voice in my head that second guesses myself, that worries I am not enough, that my abusers were right, that I wasn't ever deserving of happiness or being alive -- and then that same scared voice cuts through it all and screams to survive out of spite, to live happily as the best form of revenge.

Again, I get that we don't have to morally approve of every character we like! I totally understand it -- but I also want you all to expend some critical thinking as to perhaps WHY so many people are fawning over a man who is so clearly is a thinly veiled piece of shit over a woman who dared to challenge him, suffered for it, and emerged victorious.

Hope is fucking amazing. She is a gods-damned survivor. She is fury and vengeance and sorrow and joy all at once. She stays in hell to help the other souls tormented and abused by Raphael. She asks that you visit her some time. She strives to create a home of out the house that was her prison… and truly, I hope every day to be more like her.

Shane/leah? Tell me more! They are my two favs, but i've never thought about them as a couple.

Okay SO my affinity for Shane/Leah is a fairly recent thing (I fully credit @coolcoolglasses and @floopthecooper for fueling this particular fire and brainstorming with me haha).

My relationship with this ship has been a month-long slow-burn enemies-to-lovers kind of situation. My initial gut reaction of "eh that would never work" quietly progressed into "oh wait they might be cute, actually" and then into "oh NO! i'm invested!!"

So, reasons why I think Shane/Leah would work:

"Hello, neighbor. We both live outside of town. Does that mean something?" (from Leah’s dialogue). They're both a little introverted, and a bit non-conformist, and they both moved to Pelican Town to escape their old life. While that doesn't automatically make them kindred spirits, it's not nothing.

Leah is the sort of person who's willing to sit with someone in whatever they're going through, instead of trying to fix them or cheer them up, and that's what Shane needs. He doesn’t need a savior, he needs support.

Bonding over nature/animals. Leah talks a lot about how much she loves farm animals, even before she's interested in the farmer, and a good portion of her high-heart dialogue is along the lines of, "Oh, gosh, a farm sounds so nice, I love farms! Wouldn't it be awesome to have help on your farm? Maybe me??" Leah would absolutely jump at the chance to help take care of the animals on Marnie's ranch, is all I'm saying.

Narrative parallels. Leah's arc is partly about finding the confidence to present her art to the world, which involves a huge level of vulnerability; Shane's arc is about a lot of things, depending on how you slice it, but vulnerability's one angle.

Also, not to project all over Shane (read: absolutely to project), but an important component of my mental health recovery has been "hope"— not hope as a feeling, but hope as an action— as buckling down and trying, even if you're scared or tired or aren't feeling positively about it. You know all those "going on my daily stupid walk for my stupid mental health >:(" memes? To me, that has recovery!Shane vibes. He's grumpy about it, sure, but that just means he's gotta do it grumpy.

And Leah's arc is chock-full of Hope As An Action. Being an artist is a constant struggle of "this thing I am making will not turn out as perfect as it is in my head, and I will make it anyway." Leah often expresses uncertainty about her own level of talent, but she puts herself and her work out there in spite of that, and she gets stronger and more self-assured the more she does it.

What they value in a partner. Leah values someone who's okay with simplicity, who's straightforward and honest (which Shane generally is, when he's not putting up a front to push people away). She also wants someone who will believe in her and respect her, and I think Shane would not only respect her unique traits, but admire them. Having a goal you're passionate about in the first place is awesome, but being willing to fight for it? That takes guts.

I think Shane values honesty, steadfastness, and realism, but also needs someone whose realism is cut with hope and determination instead of pessimism. Also, per earlier discussion, he needs someone who's willing to sit with him at his lowest points instead of trying to fix him. Someone who's independent and can offer support, but who's also good at setting and respecting boundaries.

(Also, while we're on the topic of Things They'd Appreciate About Each Other, I do think Shane would appreciate that Leah is capable of breaking him in half. Like, he passes her chopping firewood on his way to work one day and goes "hope this doesn't awaken anything in me" lmao)

They have similar senses of humor. They both have dry sarcasm vibes to me, with a side of terrible puns. I'm not elaborating on this at all, I just think it's true.

Consider also: Leah hanging out with the ranch family. Found family tropes! Coming over for meals, bringing over a hearty soup when the ranch fam gets sick, coming over to sketch the chickens. (If doodles of Shane end up on her pages more often than the chickens do, well…)

I tend to headcanon Leah as having been through the wringer a bit re: her own mental health post-Kel, so while her situation does differ from Shane's, she does understand facets of what he's going through. And when she needs to vent about Kel, or needs time to process something that's triggered her, Shane's in a similar position— even if he doesn't fully get it, he can still empathize, make space for her, and also sometimes get angry about it with her, which she finds oddly validating.

I can talk about this for hours but I will stop here!!

The main difficulty I see in them getting together is that Shane tends to rebuff people, and Leah would take his "leave me alone" at face value because boundaries are important to her for Personal Reasons (i.e. Kel-related trauma), so they’d need some sort of contrived circumstance to force them to interact with one another long enough that he lets his walls down a bit…

Once he does, though, they'd get along like a house on fire, and I have a giant cardboard box full of contrived circumstances that I'm itching to use on them :)

my Scooby Doo opinions:

• i don’t like Guess Who. i’ve only ever seen 1 episode in full (the first one) and i thought that was decent. but i don’t like the rest of it after seeing some other clips from the show so far.

• i think the Loch Ness Monster movie is underrated. maybe not AS underrated as other movies but i don’t think it gets talked about enough in the fandom. also it’s one of the best DTV movies

• my opinion on Scrappy is that i am indifferent to him but i think his design is cute. that being said, i love and support all of my mutuals who love him and i will ALWAYS back them up 100000% no questions asked.

• the artstyle for Be Cool definitely fits the tone of the series well and it makes sense that it was used for that series. also i think Velma’s voice fits that series and that version of Velma well too

• Wendy Airs should come back one day and i think her relationship with Daphne in high school should be explored a bit more. i think we should see some flashbacks of them together when they were in high school and how they play a part in the present maybe

• Dapper Jack Rogers is one of the best characters in this franchise and is one of the best members of Shaggy’s family

• the Where Are You Now special was bad and i didn’t care for it

• i hated straight outta nowhere i thought it was bad. i couldn’t even get through the whole thing i had to skip scenes. and it’s NOT because of courage or anything related to him (i have respect for the Courage characters) it’s just a me thing.

• ALL of the gang members are the heart of the group because each and every one of them have so much love for each other as individuals and as a group, the group wouldn’t be what it is without any of them, and they all bring something equally important to the group.

• i’m so tired of crossovers ESPECIALLY Batman crossovers. i don’t have anything against Batman personally it’s just i think we need to stop with the crossovers for a while.

• we don’t need a 3rd James Gunn live action movie

• we don’t need a 3rd season of SDMI. the series is over and has been over for the past 10 years. there’s nothing left for the story, why would it get a 3rd season after all this time?

• people in the fandom need to stop getting mad for the wrong reasons or about things that don’t matter. i’ve seen this happen with some Scooby accounts that use to be my favs on instagram and it’s SOOO annoying.

• the 13 Ghosts series had one of the best and most interesting plots in the whole franchise. am i biased because i am a 13 Ghosts stan myself? NO!

• Scoobynatural was awful and one of the worst Scooby specials ever made.

• the Daphne & Velma movie is the only live action movie i liked

7. Who would make up your crew dream team?

You know, this is something I've thought about before (shoutout to @fancy-a-dance-brigadier for always asking the real questions lol) - but I could never quite find an answer I was satisfied with! Because I don't think taking all my favourites and smushing them together works, they just aren't as interesting together as mixups between characters who have bigger ideological differences. Like, he might be my fav captain but I don't want to choose Sisko over Janeway and Picard, I want to see him interact with Janeway and Picard, you know? So here's a sort of half-cooked, this-would-change-every-time-you-asked-me answer:

Captain: Ben Sisko First Officer: Michael Burnham (I wanna see them interact!!) Chief of Operations: Data Chief Xenoanthropologist: Chakotay (I know this is not an actual position in Star Trek but it should be!! The dude who makes sure dealings with alien cultures are being handled with respect, basically) Chief of Security: La'an Singh (trying to mix and match here) Chief Science Officer: Jadzia Dax (ft. Harry Kim always giving her ideas) Counsellor: Deanna Troi (ft. trainee Ezri Tigan) Chief Medical Officer: Julian Bashir (ft. Kes starting graphic and unhinged conversations about autopsies with him) Chief Engineer: Geordi La Forge (ft. B'Elanna on staff. Drama!!!) 23. Favorite tropes?

Character's past comes back to haunt them. Character is forced to confront their inner demons in a way that blurs the line between imagination and reality. Member of an alien society seeks asylum. A peek into the world from the "outsider" character's eyes. Two people from opposite sides are forced to spend time together (and the guest character SLAPS). Captain is out of commission and the unlikeliest people are forced to step up. Oh no the holodeck isn't shutting down and the only way we can save everyone's life is to LARP through this thing fully committing to the bit. Here is a spacial anomaly that makes everyone act weird one by one (either revealing important hidden truths about the characters, or just letting the actors have too much fun). ALL of us have to go back in time together for some stupid reason (and it's amazing)

27. What do you wish they had handled differently?

SO many potential answers- but since it's always on my mind, I wish they'd followed through on the thread of Jem'Hadar dissent. In 'The Abandoned' we find out they're genetically engineered to (rapidly) grow very strong, be dependant on drugs, and loyal to the Founders while demanding no individual rights, which frames them as tragic victims. Then we get a Jem'Hadar character who not only broke free of the Dominion's hold on him, not only expresses but also acts on the dream of freeing his fellow soldiers- and a lead character (Julian) risks his career for him! Sisko tries to get through to them in 'Rocks and Shoals'. They're so clearly complex beings with unique thoughts & personalities & feelings & needs, and are constantly fighting this inhumanely imposed programming that tells them they're just killing machines who live to serve their masters. Even in lighthearted episodes like 'One Little Ship' we see conflict between the Gamma and Alpha Quadrant soldiers, for example. We could've had this be relevant to the Dominion War's resolution! We could've had a defector Jem'Hadar as a recurring character! We could've had Julian finally make that breakthrough & help start a Jem'Hadar revolt!! It could've been so much more interesting (and so much less racist)

33. Whose twitter feed would you most want to follow?

My first instinct was Dax, but I'm leaning more towards Jake Sisko- I feel like because he's the son of a Starfleet officer (but not in the service himself) he'd have absolutely zero fear of authority & he'd just post the most savage things about prominent Starfleet officers and blow up incredibly unflattering pics of all the admirals lol

Otherwise, this blog is where I reblog stuff (sometimes with commentary), talk about my favorite fluff ships & series info, post the rare fics I complete, and sometimes even talk about life!

My main fandoms are Pokémon (most common), Undertale/Deltarune, Ace Attorney, Fire Emblem, and Splatoon (mostly for Pearlina content), but occasionally I'll talk about other series that interest me. Under the cut for post-shortening's sake.

Most of my ramblings are pretty much just character headcanons/interactions, but at times i like to focus on world-building/larger theories, and I'd love to connect with other people with those interests in my fandoms (especially Pokémon SWSH and SV!!)

Nemona (Pokémon S/V): She has so much passion and energy for battling!!! She genuinely just wants to connect with someone even though she's so misunderstood!!! Also, she can't handle exercise. I feel you, girl.

Hanamaru Kunikida (Love Live! Sunshine!!): I'm not much of a Love Live fan anymore, but I still love Hanamaru so so much. She is sunshine and light and sweetness and a bookworm and she gets so much joy out of enjoying food and spending time with her friends. A comfort character of mine.

Noelle Holiday (Deltarune): She's such a nervous little dork who's actually just a freak (affectionate), and honestly that is peak young lesbian representation.

Kris Dreemurr, Ralsei, Susie (Deltarune): Please ask me to rant about them individually. I love all of their writing.

Pearl Houzuki (Splatoon): I live for her gremlin energy. Yes, even the eating mayo straight from the bottle. I also admire the fact she managed to pull Marina.

Marina Ida (Splatoon): They really did make the coolest, prettiest hacker girl who loves anime and manga and said "make her fall in love with the scrungliest little squid".

Ashe Ubert (FE3H): He's just a little guy!!! A little fella!!! Love his voice acting, his love for books, cooking, and honor, and his tragic backstory. Poor boy.

Ibuki Mioda (SDR2): Is Danganronpa a great series. No. Did Danganronpa give us the most beautifully chaotic lesbian I have ever seen and then cruelly rip her from my hands far too soon. Yes.

Personal ships!

Hop/Gloria/Marnie (Pokémon SW/SH): Hop/Gloria is my main focus, just because I think their high energy (in my headcanons, anyways) play off of each other really well. I also like Gloria/Marnie for sunshine/serious. I also like Hop/Victor. I think about the Sw/Sh characters a lot.

Nemona/Juliana (Pokémon S/V): After 君と雨上がりを and Biri-Biri, they're canon. But also, you can't just ask someone to be your best rival like that!!!

Pearlina (Splatoon): They were literally built for each other. They are perfect. I will pull out a thesis on the Octo Expansion and Splatfest dialogue. Do not make me do that.

Caspashe (FE3H): Three words. Gay cat dads. (I also like Casphardt.)

Edeleth (FE3H): Yes, I'm basic. Speaking of basic:

Wrightworth/Narumitsu (AA): Like I said. Basic.

I'm watching a Legends playthrough, so ramble about some legends characters!! Anyone of your choosing (ha-)

Hgvhvgvgvcg Chosens am I right?

Oooooooh boy, I haven't thought of legends in a while. So much so that I feel like I don't have a lot to say right now. Maybe when I finally get to Zero's playthrough but for now, I'ma talk and Adaman and Irida :)

If anyone has seen me when Adaman was released, you should know that he is my fav. I love him. He hits every box for me design wise, and he has a goddamn leafeon, my favorite eeveelution. Then I saw him in the game and I loved him even more. He's a sweetheart! There's many things I wish to explore with him- his clan not entirely seeing him as their leader just yet, rather than their little Adaman. Not entirely a bad thing, they are a family, but when you notice how some of his own members don't fully listen to him or confide with him, it kinda makes you wonder how he feels about it.

Irida I never really disliked at first. I was more curious than anything if I remember correctly. I don't exactly blame her for being cautious- I feel like that's the right thing to do really. But she hasn't been malicious either. Then as we got to see more of her, I really started to love her character. I always pegged Irida as someone who was trying too hard to be an adult- even if she is one herself( fun fact, I honestly just saw Irida as 18 when playing through the game. That still could be the case but I'm guessing she was a bit older than I thought? I dunno, Gamefreak rarely gives us ages for anyone). I feel her problem is the opposite of Adaman- people respect her as a clan leader, but bc of that, the familial connection is kinda thin. She's Clan Leader Irida, but not Irida, you know? I think she used to really lean into that- Clan Leader Irida, I mean- bc she wanted to be a good leader. I know she takes her role and traditions very seriously! But it comes at the cost of her kinda being....alone? At least that's how I see it. Palina, someone she used to be very close to, now treats her coldly, and we don't know how other clan members really treat her. With respect surely, but outside of that. Like you gotta wonder how lonely she feels about it all, truly.

All in all, I really like these too! Their banter is funny and the implication is that they boned, causing Perrin in the future. Implication, of course. Bc Gamefreak just loves being oh so vague.

Oh! And in my au, Adaman and Irida are the first real Chosens. At least, for now. We'll see what other legends games have to show. But I will say their type of Chosen and modern type of Chosens look different. It's a bit more rough and unpolished than how they are in modern times. A tiny bit more personal? Though that could just be bc Adaman and Irida worship Dialga and Palkia respectively.

Oh ho ho so much to analyze. You weren't lying when you said the analyzers were going to be fed.

I like going chronologically through the chapter, so starting with Jack: The two of them have been close for a while now. With each moment they spend together, they grow closer, the bond strengthens. So it makes sense why they would be having this conversation now. Why it would be up on the roof with Jack that Wilbur decides to admit that his mindset is changing.

The parallel between Jack and Niki is insanely interesting to me. It's just that, a parallel. They're two separate people, and Jack cannot replace Niki. That's not what he's doing at all. Wilbur has so much history with Niki, and a lot of unresolved guilt over having to leave her behind. The narrative doesn't focus on the guilt itself very much, just his memories of Niki, and I think that makes a lot of sense. He's already got so many things going on in his life, especially after that fight with Tommy. He can't really afford to let himself feel guilty about Niki - but his thoughts wander to her all the same

Which leads me to Jack, who serves as a distraction (amongst other things). Not just a distraction from Niki, but a distraction from everything that's going on. Wilbur's constantly in a sort of mental fog. His thoughts are so loud, he's always so anxious, he's thinking too much at once and it overwhelms him. But not with Jack. Jack is the distraction - he clears away all of the anxiety, and lets Wilbur speak clearly and rationally. In the rest of the fic, stars!Wilbur resembles c!Wilbur from Pogtopia. He's paranoid, snappy, and his logical thinking gets twisted into something sinister. When he's around Jack, he starts to resemble President Wilbur. The man who spoke clearly and commanded respect. That's how he comes off to me

All because Jack isn't an asshole to him. There's a lot that goes into Jack's character and how he's earned Wilbur's trust. But ultimately it's a mutual respect where they both understand and appreciate each other. Something similar to what Wilbur had with Niki

aaa yes you get it! jack is in no way a replacement for niki, but he's a parallel to her! they're two separate people. wilbur has so much history with niki, and so much guilt like you said. but wilbur literally can't focus on his guilt right now because he's dealing with so much other stuff, so that's why we get more emphasis on the memories and missing her.

jack is a distraction exactly like you said. he can't solve wilbur's problems, but he can give him some space to breathe. if niki was around, she could help wilbur figure out where he's supposed to go and what he's supposed to do. jack isn't a politician, so he can't do that. but he serves an equally important role by distracting wilbur enough to let him get some of the fog out of his head. it's so interesting to me that you compare wilbur with jack to president c!wilbur, because while the similarities to pogtopia!wilbur and stars!wilbur were entirely intentional on my end, I didn't intend to shift stars!wilbur's behavior to l'manberg!wilbur's when he's with jack at all. it just sort of happened, and I actually really like that

yeah that's exactly it. it's mutual respect. jack was never an asshole to wilbur just for the sake of being an asshole. he's not a doormat and he'll get pissed at wilbur if wilbur is a bitch to him, but he treats him with respect. very similar to how he and niki worked.

BEING EDITED AS THINGS CHANGE Thank you anon! I wish I knew who you were to say sorry for taking so long but I have most of the people I mentioned in your last post. I've talked to most of the people I mentioned in my post and have been talking to most of the others and getting their opinions on the matter. Some of them have not told me much yet or are even planning to RP with my oc! Which is pretty cool. I'll start with @hellogreyeyedathena:

Judith: The way Sigurd interacts with Judith is like a mischievous colleague would treat a new hire. Lots of pranks, hijinks, and all that crazy jazz. Over time she might come to respect him a lot more and come up with really clever pranks. At one point she'd probably trick him into thinking his tattoos are moving on their own while he's showering with her psychic powers and changing his perception of reality. She'd also find out that if she causes him to go off into a flight kind of mode, he'll probably leave a trail of destruction after he runs through the shower doors and streaks through a forest trying to run. Judith would take note to make sure he's not gonna break anything when she does it again. Also, he has to clean up after he's done being pranked. At first, she treats him like he's a bit of a joy to toy with since he's a bit of a himbo and even slides in cheeky under-the-radar flirty insults at him. Also, he's got a special relationship with Walter once we meshed both our AUs and speculated on how he'd react to Sigurd giving a reformed dark Walter blood freely and kinda teasing him. At some point, he rough-houses with Walter and gets hung upside down by his ankles. Walter then basically takes up his offer on blood and gets a few tastes in and is definitely "playing with his food". Their relationship from there on gets intimate in a way (I think?), which kinda surprises Judith but nonetheless is amused Sigurd doesn't mind though, if anything, Sigurd likes playing with fire>:3! Judith would tell Walter not to play with his food, though to be fair she probably found it more titillating than anything. One time Sigurd had probably annoyed her and that one example is when she sends him to the clown dimension for calling her "Judy" by accident. Don't worry he doesn't get hurt and it's not anything evil. (she really hates that one and Sigurd really hates clowns. Don't worry tho he brings his sword or knife with him next time if he gets sent there again). Apparently, Judith doesn't mind that he rubbernecks every now (his libido and hormones are out of whack because of his condition), and then since she likes to poke and prod at people bc of her flirty and trollish nature. Honestly, Sigurd likes to dress provocatively sometimes so he returns the favor.

Aside from that they basically become friends and whatnot. Though Hans is a bit protective of Judith but eventually trusts Sigurd to be around her. Walter would totally be the same way. Would this relationship ever get romantic? Judith is in a closed relationship with Hans and Walter so it is not very likely.

Overall though it's mainly a fun, friendly, yet mischievous relationship from what I can tell.

Now it's time for @neet0 and her OCS!

Mika: This dude is a himbo too so they'll get along. But at first, Mika is distrustful and intimidated by him. Not because of his strength, but rather the fact that he's with Seras and they seem pretty close, in neet0's words he'd be thinking, "What's he got that I don't got?" it's not jealousy but it's a sense of something like a tug of war, a game, sport. Mika's never been able to have a serious relationship and still approaches it like a fling whereas he'd view it like a hunt. It would basically turn into a competitive relationship with him to try and see if one can win over Seras. Mika trying to win Seras' love and overcome Sigurd's place fair and square. In a twist, Sigurd just asks if he wants to join in on the relationship with him, Pip, and Seras because Seras told Sigurd she wanted to take on another lover if he was ok with it.

Thankfully, Sigurd is and knows that Mika wanted to give that love to her as well. Mika accepts and basically bearhugs him on the spot. They keep having these competitive bouts to outdo each other but it's all fun and games. They up the stakes too, whenever Sigurd loses, he willingly shares blood with Mika, forming a bond between the two and bringing them very close. If you watched Mika drink his blood you'd see that he'd grunt and blush, since he was willingly and lovingly giving blood Seras and Pip start noticing and is happy to see them coming closer together... though she's also curious. She could sense the bond between them and found that it was a lot like her romantic bond with Sigurd. She starts hatching a plan to get them even closer together... and she's sure the results will be very titillating. At this time Mika starts opening up about how his master, Ales was dying and that he feels so afraid of being alone or listless after one of the days Sigurd is training Mika to be a warrior like him. Sigurd comforts him and opens up about when his oldest brother died in his arms and tells him that he'll never be alone again since he's got the girl of his dreams and him as a friend (spoiler alert they aren't just bros) and then feeds him a larger amount of blood, nearly passing out until Mika pulls himself away, looking into his eyes, their psychic bond growing deeper and deeper. Sigurd had to admit to himself that he was quite charming, for a friend of course. Oh also Pip catches them and laughs (He knows how this ends up ;) ).

They have a pretty good bromance and things are alright, till one day Mika and Sigurd do a race down a hill when they finally have another "Hold my beer" moment when Seras wonders aloud which one of them would win a race (she totally eggs them on btw, she sees the chemistry like the mad chemist/therapist she is) like they always do and both of them fall down the hill on the last stretch and end up in a tangled mess, stumbling to their finish line, till suddenly, Mika playfully tackles him and they end up looking into each other's eyes. A blood-red pair of eyes meeting fiery hazel eyes. It was all that competition play leading up to this sweet citrusy explosion. They didn't just reach the finish line, they went FAR beyond it.

Pip was probably being a good "chemist assistant" with Seras as they watched it go down.

They'd be making out on the grass, Sigurd rolling Mika over, hands on his chest, the whole fruity buffet, and more was happening on that field. Sigurd even bites his lip and gives him a french kiss with his blood, like how vampire bats do that when they bond together and help each other survive (bc vampires and vampire bats have similar instincts to an extent IMO). Then they'd both look up to see Seras blushing and just enjoying the sight of her two favorite himbos making out, "just doing bro stuff" and then probably joins in on the fun to seal the deal. The four of them probably end up on a bed together, happy at how all this transpired. Mika wasn't going to be alone after Ales died, Sigurd and Seras made sure of it.

(I went really long for this because Sigurd and Mika had serious and insane amounts of chemistry)

Ales: Sigurd finds him shady at first and disagrees with his methods rather than his compassionate intent. Sigurd would come to understand his motives for being a bit sneaky but finds him to be spineless in some of his actions. He thinks he should've been more honest and forthcoming to his daughter, Lily, and Alucard but eventually, he somewhat understands this too. He hears about how he's dying too. Sigurd finally breaks down and opens up to him and how his brother died and in many cases, his older brother helped raise Sigurd. Ales also help comfort his past trauma and gives him closure with his special abilities. Even if Sigurd was largely disgusted by the shady tactics, he still saw the kind and caring vampire behind them. Ales is happy that Sigurd and Seras are acting as Mika's anchors in this whole debacle of him coming to terms with the fact that his death is coming soon. Sigurd would miss him for sure. He kinda reminded him of his father in a way.

Lily: She's good friends with him overall. At first, it was a bit complicated because she was distrustful bc of his past and how she thinks he might treat her friend Seras. So she's shy and standoffish a bit when she finally interrogates him when they meet for the first time. And yes he's tied up when it happens, at least until Seras finds out and lets her know that he's her boyfriend and is a good dude that treats her like an independent woman and respects their relationship's boundaries (personally that's from me bc I think it'd be funny). Lily then profusely apologizes, though he says it's ok and that he understands why (Sigurd is chill af at this point). Lily becomes pretty good friends with him as well and starts asking some questions about his condition/curse where a Varcolac bit him and infected him, Sigurd explains the details of his curse to her since he knows she won't tell anyone else. Varcolacs as a monster species is even a mystery to vampires in a way.

Sophie: They're basically casual buddies. She'd find Sigurd's relationship with Mika, Pip, and Seras VERY titillating. Probably has popcorn and watches it unfold.

Overall the characters have positive experiences and are really interesting to navigate through as my oc. I was most pleasantly surprised by Mika because it seems they had spontaneous chemistry and were very loving and just had that nice spice. The best kind.

And now for @rotten-hearts-sharp-teeth oc's Barret: They're pack mates for sure. Total bromance and all that. Like they'll be roughhousing like brothers at random. Not too complicated as a relationship and it's fun. Sabine: She's just like his mom to him. A bit flirty but nothing insane and she's just like that one friend's mom you know that you really appreciate and love because they give good snacks and are just sweet all around. Even if she pinches Sigurd's cheek harder because he's strong and wants to let him know she can handle herself and is pushing him harder. Overall she's the pack mother and Sigurd respects her for it. Maybe she'll accept Seras and Pip into the pack too if he can bridge the divide between the werewolves and vampires here.

None are romantic but still very enjoyable nonetheless.

Here's what I learned about @ofwraithsandwords' oc!

Djamilah (aka DJ)/Ibrahima: It's... complicated? In the beginning, they definitely don't take Sigurd seriously, at all. Then DJ probably gets to know him more and finds out that he was once a slave then DJ would probably have empathy, though is very aloof about it. Like imagine your dog that's trying to get you to take it outside and is growling, only to not want to go outside once you open the glass door (I have this happen with my dog all the time lol) but you know they still love you... you guess. Not necessarily in a romantic way but more platonically and in a friendly way. BUT if it did get romantic/spicy, he'd not be on top... at all. @ofwraithsandwords and I did delve into it and I said that she'd definitely have him in a dog collar after basically talking about how she'd brush his hair and scratch behind his ears if they felt like messing with him/doing that out of whimsy (take that as you will). DJ is very impulsive and dangerous but I and @ofwraithsandwords believe they'd at least be friendly to a comfortable extent. Though Sigurd would be intimidated by her power. Sigurd would have to get used to them and DJ would probably teach him about how her powers work and all that. (the oc goes by any pronouns bc gender is not important to them, author's words not mine) I love this dynamic a lot because it's unpredictable, much like DJ is in the story that @ofwraithsandwords wrote, which is fitting since they're a larger-than-life character and fit so well into the chaotic setting of the au and Hellsing itself. As for the others I mentioned I'll edit the post when we're done discussing about it or rp'ing.

How I Feel About This Character:

Candace: P obvious but I love her to pieces. I think she's been misunderstood by a lot of the fandom and if you don't like her, you're wrong. I really relate to her as an older sister, and as someone who genuinely feels at times like she's not good enough for the people around her.

Jeremy: Only blonde boy I respect /j. No but as a character he's such a sweetheart, and I really believe he loves Candace with all his heart. Also Mitchell Musso as his VA? Could not have done better tbh.

Stacy: My underrated fav, I would die for her. She is my favorite recurring side character, I love her dynamics with literally every single character, and I will forever be salty at the fact that she was not utilized more in the show overall.

Romantic Ships:

Candace: Canderemy is the number one, but Candace/Stacy and Candace/Vanessa are close second and thirds. Also am fond of Candace/Stacy/Jeremy where Jeremy and Stacy are for the most part platonic but just both dating Candace and very chill with it.

Jeremy: I really only ship him with Candace tbh. We don't really see enough of his friends to see any potential chemistry between them.

Stacy: Actually love her and Coltrane together, I think they're cute. And obviously as a secondary I ship her and Candace. I also think she and Jenny would be a cute couple, but like...a casual relationship.

Brotp:

Candace: Candace and Stacy, full stop. But if we're not talking the other teens, I love??? Her and Buford's relationship, I think it's hilarious. She def considers him a little brother but like. Significantly more obnoxious than her own (in a loving way)

Jeremy: Jeremy and Stacy, brotp for life. I LOVE their stupid little scene in CATU in the fuckin Slushy Dawg truck like come on

Stacy: See above lol (but also her relationship with Phineas and Ferb, 10/10)

Unpopular Opinion:

Candace: I like the idea of her becoming a lawyer. I know a lot of people rejected it because it came from AYA (ew), but it just makes??? So much sense for her character. Like trying to prove people wrong, finding evidence, research??? It's just right up her alley, it WORKS.

Jeremy: I like Jeremy and Candace together. I'm like...stunned that's an unpopular opinion in parts of the fandom, but I genuinely think he's a great boyfriend and that he and Candace have the healthiest relationship in the whole show (and one of the healthiest across all media tbh). I don't understand the people who don't like him, I really don't.

Stacy: Stacy is a more fleshed out and well rounded than almost any other recurring character in the show and the people who think she isn't haven't paid attention.

One Thing I Wish Had Happened:

Candace: I kind of wish, just once, she had been able to show her mom something the boys did (and not have it backfire on any of the kids). It's something that I think would have brought a little bit of closure to the show as a whole, and I really think Candace deserved to be believed after all that time. She also deserved an apology from her mom for all the things she said about her tbh.

Jeremy: I wish we could have seen his relationship with his band members more. I know he's obviously not one of the main characters, so we got to see him through Candace more often than not, but it still would have been fun to have a Jeremy-centric episode in a similar way we did to Stacy.

Stacy: I mean.....we've heard me rant about the Perry and Stacy plot more than I'm sure anyone wants to admit, so I'll pick a different one lol. But I wish we had gotten to see more of her heritage in the show. There were small little bits thrown in, like her eating with chopsticks, but it would have been nice to see Stacy take Candace and the boys to like...idk a cultural Japanese event in town or something. Very plausible within the realm of the show. And it would have made up for the.....hmm. the song in SBTY that like...looking back on is p cringe.

so i decided to reread pomegranate ink bc i just love it way too much, and I FORGOT HOW FUNNY TULLIA IS, i literally love her sm omg she’s definitely one of my fav characters that you’ve written (along with friedrich from SITH!)

i completely forgot how WHIPPED yuta is for the mc & im absolutely living for it omg. the way he was so protective over her during the goodwill event & literally went batshit crazy bc she got hurt had me wanting to scream /pos

i also love how supportive noritoshi is! instead of making him a toxic partner, you made him trusting and supportive and it’s so refreshing. other authors may have gone with the cliche & made him toxic, and i’m so glad you didn’t. how he acts so sweet to the mc and wants her to be happy despite their situation is so endearing to me. it shows that he cares sm abt her platonically & i adore their friendship <3

AND TOGE!!! i love how he’s been a shoulder to lean on since the beginning! he’s helped the mc out sm & he’s such a reliable friend to her. their friendship is also one i adore. & toge & tullia are so cute, i hope they get together soon!

i’m loving tanvi’s character so far!! you rlly have such a good way of incorporating ocs into the story where they’re not just randomly thrown in. and you always find a way to show their importance too! i can’t wait to see more of tanvi in the future! she seems so sweet & i feel like her & tullia would get along so well.

i’m interested to hear what you would do in regards to when yuta comes back during shibuya. like, would the mc stay in tokyo & meet the first-years & participate in the goodwill event or would she go with yuta overseas? it’d be cool to see her interact with the first-years though!! especially nobara, i feel like those two would get along despite nobara’s headstrong personality! i also think her & yuji would be good friends! thinking abt how gojo wanted to set her up with megumi would be funny in regards to those two meeting for the first time LMFAO. i definitely think megumi would respect her like he does yuta & i feel like she’d be like a protective older sister figure to him or maybe she’d remind him of tsumiki in a way?? i just like theorizing! :D

MC will stay in Tokyo when Yuta goes overseas!! She’ll probably have a more background role because otherwise some plot points simply wouldn’t happen (ex during the exchange event she would be left to fight Todo as they’re evenly matched and she’s beaten him before) but she will be present for most major things. I think nobara would definitely look up to her the way she does with maki, and I think the MC would probably love the fact that someone thinks she’s strong HAHAH. I do think she would like yuji a lot as well!! Honestly she’s a pretty friendly person I think she doesn’t really dislike anyone (except for naoya). I can see yuji and tullia getting along very well though! And as for megumi…I think gojo would constantly be third wheeling or indiscreetly spying on them anytime they try to talk so that might make it hard for them to be super close but who knows lol.

I’ve been doing pretty well recently, just been super busy which is why I haven’t written anything in so long. I watched the new AOT ep with my family today which will hopefully motivate me to update SOMETHING soon hahaha.

Proud Reject (Part 1)

I’m literally blind my eyesight has deteriorated further everything’s blurry the day starts in bed & ends like that too no sunlight no connection with the outside world no one to talk to just my phone and my thoughts & loads of tears… that’s how everyday begins and ends. Its not self imposed, this happens when you are isolated by people. I can’t type but I wanted to write this… I love this mini story or script more than my next book even though the book’s more interesting but out of personal choice I like the story which I’ll be sharing tomorrow more than that, it’s not on any professional level it’s just something I would’ve discussed with a friend and laughed ie. if I had friends, something started that particular “topic” and I couldn’t help wondering… what if?

My heart was in my mouth again cuz I received a reel on FB which had his friend Aditya (he was either pretending to be him in 2016 or he himself inspite of being engaged was interested idk) they were dancing like most tv ppl and I got another panic attack… my mother was already torturing me, I woke up with high fever I still have fever headache it’s been there since a week I’m getting wheezing due to continuous crying and I realised that he wants someone famous to make such videos too. Someone rich and famous like that. Even in abroad there’s no pressure, over there all those celebs (who are are much more popular) even the ones in their early 20s when they make videos that too just one or two out of fad, they film it on their cheap phones they don’t care about the blurry quality they are not trying to sell it, they just don’t care about all that and those who are of my age (still nowhere close to Aditya, he was older than Harsh also) some of them, even if they have all those pics that I personally like (with their boyfriends - trekking or at the lake, casual everyday candid shots) they still find it hard to cope with social media and they eventually take a break from it, had they been in my position they too would’ve ended up like this out of all that pressure. I can’t keep up with your life. Few things that I’ll like to share before starting with my story, A - the sketches I’m sorry if he was hurt. I had not made them, my book wasn’t like Rupi Kaur’s either it never had those intimate doodles. I think my mother stalks me (I don’t want to write about her publicly but I have to share all this please don’t judge me by her) and she has taken advantage of a lot of things and also challengingly said “Did anyone come to help you? Everyone hates you and no one pays attention no one cares, everyone wants you to die and you will die alone like this” she has also told me a lot of hurtful things related to that guy, taking advantage of that as well and and the problem is (my hands are cold n numb lifeless rn) I can’t convey my feelings directly through some app or something so I have to rely on these public posts NO MAILS he ain’t some God or Celebrity (being a celebrity means being celebrated not deprecated) I’m not some groupie or teenager to mail my fav celebrity crush and he doesn’t belong to any boy band. What’s in it for me? Will I be rescued from my mother or helped with my health issues which started DUE TO HIM? Or is he just gonna sit there reading my mail, getting happy with all the validation after which he’ll ignore it. Am I that? Hahaha I’m not into human worship. We are more focused on our lives… especially those like me in my position. She has told me several times that I’m a “sl-u-tt” for being in LOVE or for falling in love. She also came up with the forcer tag even thought it was torturous for me and I kept crying and saying STOP stop stop cuz for us as girls rape or force is worse than murder, I never wanted him to marry me just to take responsibility for his actions I never wanted to punish him with myself and I always respected him and I’ll continue to do so I’m not his fans to write cheap comments like I saw in that dancing video (they were writing about his shirt). That tacky shirt made the whole video even more disturbing, and I didn’t see the entire thing I was in the middle of a panic attack, I just saw one shot then I died. After that I vomited, my pressure was falling rapidly and I kept crying for days cuz you know what right… (25th Oct) anyway I never shared this (one more reason/aspect) like that Chote Pandit tells Ruhaan or Ruh Baba “Aap par aise chichore kapde jajte nahi hai” I was like aah that is what they call it… anyway haha but I don’t want anyone who is being an “eye candy” for other females on television, they come and hit on him in comments that too cheap comments. Yes everyone’s doing it but that’s why we are so depressed and you are anyway not with me I don’t even get a fraction of your day or time.

My mother used that word force several times (she has said other unimaginable offending things too) cuz I was crying and it was triggering me, she said it because I wanted him to say something (but we weren’t even discussing that) for talking or communication cuz I just wanted his OCD to break. It started within 24 hours and not how you might think we met on 2nd Oct then 2 years later 2nd April and I know that we all feel jaded to text sometimes or keep the conversation going, we might not feel enthusiastic anymore after that initial excitement or whatever but it wasn’t like that, if it would’ve been that I wouldn’t have even taken so much stress. We’ve all done that at some point in our lives, internet makes us lethargic, we also get addicted to more exploration or finding new people to talk to… we feel like we can do better or take our time to choose whoever’s the most ideal for us, but his case was totally different.

At some point we would all respond or say something maybe after a week or even after getting let’s say - reconnected after losing contact or reaching a temporary impasse. We wouldn’t hold on to any grudge or some kind of a “promise” he swore never to talk to me, there was nothing to be mad about, he just decided that we will never have any direct contact his parents also said “We don’t want to keep any talukaat (contact) particularly with your daughter” he kept liking my pics BUT not replying to any of the texts (when he started liking my photos religiously I texted him on FB messenger because I thought maybe my texts weren’t getting through and I wasn’t receiving his due to some glitch but he READ those FB texts and still didn’t respond) and even after that he was liking the pics then when I told him “Are u feeling sorry for me, why do you keep liking the photos, is it the BB pin what you wanted, I even gave you a reason that too it was all funny and I gave it the very same night as soon as I woke up in the middle of it I gave it” he removed me from the list after that. I am getting wheezing I can’t get overwhelmed I had shared the exact thing which I told him when he was asking for my pin (long ago) I can’t keep reiterating everything everywhere. He then kept blocking and ignoring my real account but speaking to the fake ID

The coincidences and those premonitions in my dreams had already started which made me more curious about his behaviour so I tried talking to him but that fake ID like I said was for my school friend who was also stalking me with her fake ID. And I would not see his stories or anything, I was playing her Snapchat story but his was queued so it started playing by default where I saw that training session. When I tried speaking to him using my real acc… he not only blocked me AS SOON AS HE HEARD MY NAME (like I said he wanted no “direct” contact between me and him) he also made his account private. He made me feel like a stalker, I had already started getting panic attacks and I had stopped watching TV it has been off since then (2015 Sept) I tried moving on in Aug itself but I told you what happened over and over again, same old story repeated heartbreaks… cuz they only wanted girls like me as a call girl and according to them only pageant winners or models, fair and rich or extremely famous girls even those with notoriety (nothing worth all that attention) who were out of their league were all meant for dating. I never wanted to get on such terms with her but she would keep torturing me (she had thrashed me ruthlessly even after getting fibromyalgia several times cuz I have no one in this world to support me or tell her anything) she has in fact told me a lot of harmful and offending things (out of gloating) “Dekho kuch aur kabhi koi nahi mila iss aurat ko yeh akeli hi reh gayi” and laughed (I was 25) I’ve been getting addressed as aurat or woman ever since I was 12. I was told I should’ve drowned during 26th July floods and never returned from school I would sit on the stairs with my heavy bag famished and parched everyday after coming home for 2-3 hours cuz my mother would not leave keys for me, and then get tortured at home for another one hour, I would keep telling myself one day someone will come and all this would end but I ended up being bed ridden because of whoever came and it continued for many more years to come, all my youth and adulthood.

I even wrote a letter and clarified/acknowledged that it could be one sided while also sharing my feelings for him cuz I thought he would also cut down on his expenses because his brother was jobless like mine. That’s why I hate today’s generation they ruin everyone’s life along with their’s but I’m from Gen Z I’m actually younger than his younger brother it’s just that they are always like that, they have no pressure or expectations. I poured lots of love in that letter for this part but he hated me and then he had that stage show with her which broke my heart and I never gave it and my mother also was about to hit me again cuz she secretly read that (it had nothing which could’ve made her that livid or furious not even like a proper I love you or anything) she just said “Stop trying to look great or good” I saw the Devil’s numbers so I’m guessing it was him you had read my mind when I was telling myself that it was all wrong, I shouldn’t have ever tried being ideal for someone like that when he was already well off or rich or good looking he never needed love like me that’s why he never even understood anything, I don’t know why his house looked like that or if like ppl say Gujjus actually hide money but it was all deceptive, he was already too good he never needed love he was in a way better position. Two of them in their 40s made a misogynistic video where he was liye talk throwing her around and getting abusive and for some reason that was supposed to be funny and then that guy that “actor” he actually slammed her head against the wall in real life cuz he was having an affair) the fortune telling app said he wants someone “talented” to make those reels and earn money ummm seriously? You are going to hold auditions and another Swayamvar for this? You actually need talent for such stupid ass videos? Really? 😂🤣🤣🤣 He reminded me of my dreams (ironically the Devil not him) and he’s right here so if he is “rejecting” me for these reels like overage teenagers then even I will say - I want some NRI who stays abroad and who will take me away from all this (I gave examples of so many famous celebrities from MY age group all these ppl making videos are older, those celebs they don’t do all this and even if they do it cuz it’s a fad now it’s shot on blurry pixelated quality for fun not money and some of them they take all those cute casual pics and use Instagram like a digital album like some of our Indian Bollywood celebs and that’s it, they don’t turn this into a career that too most of it is just for attention) so yeah he’s right if he’s rejecting me for that especially after I’ve become conscious I don’t even look good so yeah I’m not suitable for the camera I have become agoraphobic I haven’t left my room since 2017 I’ve become bed ridden and he is still thinking selfishly about his own life then I also want a rescuer an actual hero who will take me abroad because why is he even staying India? Just got fame right? You hardly get anything here, we needed something for our living room and bathroom some important fixtures and even there there’s literally no choice or even proper functionality. If you see the state of our roads or the air quality outside you’ll literally feel like shifting there… it’s getting worse day by day, we hardly get any quality product here, prices are getting hiked and unlike abroad there are no alternatives, I keep getting cheap ads from “homegrown businesses” in India who are busy making Sx toys, the land of superficial Kama sutra and Chappis or pervs what else do you expect? Indians don’t need beautiful cosy homes or designer spaces (that too in a budget) or other things such as good quality food or air or any kind of consumption like that cuz they are only good at fcking and having kids. Our population shows that there are literally no brains here… my head is paining.

Karate? Pork chop? Use pepper spray…?” At the risk of what? Incurring their wrath & getting acid thrown at our face? “You can’t ask for a raise?” They sometimes pay more to men cuz they are the sole bread winners in some families and at times single girls and boys BOTH are given a smaller paycheck. There are places where they do add more zeroes for men but even after bringing up that topic things haven’t changed for us… next “Why can’t you work during your pregnancy why take a maternity leave? You are a woman we are strong invincible we don’t need that, how old fashioned? Why take an epidural? Why Caesarean? Why can’t you juggle work life and kids both? Why have children? Too primitive? Why can’t you have kids? Too ambitious? (Well there are several other reasons) Why be a homemaker? Why become a working girl? Be modern we don’t work 9 to 5… Why can’t you just party, booze and smoke and then grow your own weed, sell it & become an entrepreneur… like a female Pablo Picasso… why can’t you? Is it only for men?” All these pseudo feminists will immediately ask these things, the moment you talk about being deprived of emotional, physical or financial security which is like the need of the hour right now for females they’ll start asking such nonsensical questions that you’ll feel like pulling a trigger in your mouth instead of answering them. But what I meant to say is that is what rejection is for us. We have no hope left and our future becomes uncertain and scary. Speaking of wanting to move somewhere abroad… I would’ve probably stayed back if I had someone here, you stay for people you love… I have no one to keep me here, they actually all want me to die they are waiting for that. No one cares about my life or me…

Considering everything that I had to hear… (my head is paining so please ignore all the errors/typos) and how people have behaved with me especially him and my mother, I don’t want that forcer chaser tag anymore so if you are ready to accept me only then you can approach or if you want be friends then I’m also cool with that but don’t be fickle like him, if you are not sure then either stay away or be honest… if you don’t want me but still want to be around and if you are okay with risking your integrity although I’m very good at keeping secrets then we can have a half open marriage like I had suggested earlier. I had written all this long ago…

Girls like me who are considered “untalkable” can only dream of a platonic relationship… in my dreams sometimes I have someone by my side holding my hand when I feel like I’m dying during those convulsions or tremors and violent jerking/twitching throughout my body, I get wheezing too and even my heart muscles go through that; having said that in real life it involves romantic feelings minus intimacy and it’s unimaginable to think that someone would like us, we can use the other house mates alternative which again considering how he has made me… ugly and all and how much my mother hates having me around, I feel it would be difficult for someone to put up with me in the same environment, she keeps praying for my death cuz she “cannot stand me” (just like the guy I loved the most) and ego would want to hang around? I always wanted to be with him, watch TV, shop together, put my arm around his neck, talk, do fun things like sharing those interesting or unbelievable bizarre stories (well I have a lot now) build our home, decorate it and spend our life together, now that life is gone along with 8-10 years of my youth, I could never be with him. When they create characters like us on screen they show us like psychos, one sided forcers, they do cover these things like watching tv or preparing breakfast but we are still shown as some creep who is forcing someone to be around & craving for their presence, fighting for their time and attention. They depict us like those psychos and we end up feeling more scared 😱 hence we never talk about this. Speaking of mutualism, well maximum of these stories start off as not only mutual but also with loads of attention from the opposite side, they lure you and then humiliate. Also, who would want to watch TV with me? I can crack jokes and make you laugh if you want to be House Mates, you won’t get bored and if you aren’t like my mother then you’ll even get used to my appearance and it won’t bother you after some time. Platonic is where you can watch movies or tv together, as house mates we can use the living area as a common room apart from that we will have our own space where we can stay separately, My head is paining a lot and I have a lot of fever so I’m gonna continue the funny story tomorrow…
