Moons turn! Heres the boy also 7ft tall like Sun

He is a nocturnal species compared to those of his current flock, he was found as an egg and taken in

Due to evident differences he was bullied a lot when he was younger, he was the biggest crybaby around until he got tired of it all and decided to become the bully to get ppl to leave him alone, this led to him bullying Sun since he was also very sensitive, anxiety, and would cry often, it continued for maybe a few months until Eclipse steps in and quite literally smacks some sense into him, it was also verbal to dw lol

It takes some time but he ends up befriending Sun and Eclipse and both him and Clips become Suns protecters until hes able to protect himself as well but they still baby and tease him often

Evident differences in the Moons species compared to Sun and Clips are, different wing shape for silent flight (Sun makes a lot of different noises with his like a pigeon) darker color palate, alot of iridescence, slightly different canines, and of course a different sleep cycle

Little fun thing Feral sketch out and i colored

Tari is much more buff than in the usual au’s here for the pure fact of her work, she is a researcher who focuses on mythical creatures both “wild” and “civil”, she tends to be out in the wild often and also built up the muscle to help with dealing with bigger and more likely stronger creatures, plus gotta hold the large baby creatures if need lmao

Her scar was from a baby sphinx that was brought to the facility after being found to be orphaned, it was very skittish and nervous but she managed to coax it out of its hiding place to give it a check up, unfortunately another coworker startled it and it got a good smack on her face, it was apologetic and from there she pretty much trusted her to do check ups, she saw it as win-win the little one trusts her and she got a cool scar out of it lol

As to how she ends up in the boys little hidden village, she had befriended Freddy, a werebear, who was looking to go back home after adopting Gregory, so she decided to tag along, get out of the big city and get some potential research so she why not go along. The village “chief” is pretty much just female green dragon that can shift between human, antho dragon, to large dragon, that is the protecter of the forest, decides if shes a friend of her old friend Freddy, than she can stick around

Moon was the patrol who brought them in and also just to mess with him she tells him Tari can room with him and the other 2 during her trail period, if she passes they can find her a place of her own after that. Moon was obviously not happy but had to go along, drops her off with Eclipse and lets him set her up in their place and then show her around town and as well as any potential jobs she can help with and is interested in.

Eclipse startles her with his massive size on accident lol, she was distracted waiting for him to come down (they live in a large tree house) and when she turned to look at him when she hears him land she did NOT expect the large towering figure sdjknfl

The other glamrocks are involved here as well! Chica’s appearance is slightly different, no feather on the arms, their textured like her legs but they have feathers coming off the sides (like a velociraptor) she is another patrol… everyone is scared when shes looking for info because she will chase you down to get it

Roxanne is one of the dragons guards and warriors and shes built like the classic hunching werewolf, Vanessa is also part of the dragon guard

Monty we still haven’t decided but hes well known as the crocodilian who swears hes a gator lmao, his game design is clearly a croc 😭 his snoot is croc shape not gator no matter how much they try to say it isnt ddsjkfnkn

I have to acknowledge the fact that it’s rare to find another musician you can trust in any musical situation. The guitarist in my bands LEMONPiG and Moth Moon, Justin, is the best guitarist I have ever had the pleasure of making music with. Improvised music (such as the recording above) is such an incredible form of magic when you are locked in with another musician in an almost telepathic way and you trust the decisions you both will or could make to feed off each others energy. Even when moments start to feel chaotic trusting you will find each other and reconnect makes for special musical moments that otherwise can not be written or sometimes even replicated. There are very few musicians that I can trust to perform improvised music with but I have been so lucky to have had a few in my life. Justin tops that short list for me. I am often floored by the improvised music we are able to just let pour out of us. “How the fuck did we do that?” and “How is it even possible we were on the same page in that moment?”, are questions we find ourselves excitedly asking each other. It helps that I’ve been playing drums for 20 years and he’s been playing guitar for 25. It helps that we have been playing together for almost 5 years. It helps that we have a lot of similarities in music taste. It helps that he is just an incredible musician. His talent and creativity gives me a huge advantage to experiment and trust that those experiments will land in a coherent way. And even if the experiment doesn’t land perfectly I trust we can find a way to make it work in the moment and push forward without falling apart completely (which still does sometimes happen). We have our first show book for both bands in late June and I’m nervous but so so so excited to share these projects with friends, family, strangers.

A child that lives near to the marshy forest where Sun and Moon live and often ‘gets lost’ and visits them

Lives with her dad, Cason

She didn’t actually see Moon (or Sun’s humanoid form) until after a couple visits when she begged them to let her see them so that she knew they were really real (even though she knew they were she was starting to have doubts when no one would believe her),

She gives them salt and helps them break into the house occasionally

She loves animals and tends to get along well with them

Keeps tons of random things in her pockets and sometimes gets little gifts from Sun and Moon (that they totally didn't steal)
