Been running lots and lifting/ resistance training lots over the past few weeks but been terrible at posting it.
This half is gonna be rough since I don’t know how to run in elevation at all and it’s like basically a trail race. I did my longest run ever last Saturday at 8 miles but I don’t know if I can actually break 2 hours especially in this kind of marathon because where I live has no elevation and is at sea level. So I’m trying to get some hills and speed work in??? Idk just trying to feel ok about this as I’ve never actually “trained” for a race distance before and I’m topping out at only 20 miles a week because there isn’t enough time with work and trying to keep up with resistance training and avoiding injury to do more miles per week!!!
