My boy Meech. Finally I decided to at least sketch him, but he's been sitting in my head since last year. He's a shaman, probably has anger issues. Yes, he likes extinct predators, why do you ask?

also i know how these bats look but i haven't found any official concepts or images or anything about bats in oddworld so i had to improvise

Honkodora, we should go on a hike someday! I know a few well-hidden routes around the Highlands because of all of my deliveries and ingredient gathering. And there are plenty of herbs along the way because not that many people pass there!

The surface of her workspace was positively littered with scraps of notes written in haste and half crossed out, as well as several pots holding overgrown plants she had been attempting to prune. Though she loved her work, it required getting her hands dirty...and so the space in which she did so did not lend itself to a neat and tidy process either.

She pursed her lips looking at her notes. A low huff worked it's way out as she took stock of the few bits of dried dittany and knotgrass that hung above her. She was running low, and did not have nearly enough for the salve she was trying to concoct to get rid of ...certain new accessories.

Not that the sight of them didn't give her a small and satisfied smirk each time she caught a glimpse of herself, but they were making it slightly difficult to wear hats and it WAS the middle of winter. Plus, she so often was lost in the woods, she did not want to risk being mistaken for an actual deer.

She remembers Meech's offer to go hiking and immediately tosses the notebook aside to pen him a response.

As always, I am in. I'd love for you to show me these hidden routes...you know I'm always curious. This comes at the perfect time....I'm running short on supplies so the sooner the better. And of course, I will always jump at some time with my fellow herb nerd. It's been much too long since we've stretched our legs out there! Let me know when and where, and I'll meet you. And for Merlin's Sake Meech, if you're going to call me Honkodora at least put the ' the most wonderful and prettiest' in front of it when you do.

On his way to the greenhouse, Demetrius has to make a stop by a small sleeping puddle of a teal niffler on the floor. The poor creature looks so blissfully full after lunch that the nap in the sun by the glass-stained window must seem like heaven for the little thief.

'Aren't you adorable?' chuckles Meech to himself and sits down for a minute. With a frown after some careful deliberations and a hesitant hand, he reaches out and softly pets Nosy's belly. Yes. Meech assumed as such: the niffler is in a food coma.

A few more soft pets follow before Meech gets up to go and feed his sweet sweet cabbages.

As the sunbeams streamed through the glass-stained window, Nosy basked in their warmth, his plump belly rising and falling in a contented rhythm. Oh, what a day it had been! All the treats he had acquired, the treasures he had snatched, the mischief and mayhem - it was almost a bit too much for a humble little Niffler like himself. But only almost.

The stolen goodies, which he would later share with his partner in crime, were tucked safely in his belly pocket, and slowly, like a gentle wave, exhaustion washed over him, and the little menace succumbed to the allure of a deep slumber. 

Blissfully unaware of the approach of the gentle giant, the Niffler was sleeping safe and sound, with dreams filled with flickering flames and tantalising shiny objects. A soft chuckle broke through the haze of Nosy's dreams, but he paid it no mind as he rolled himself into a tiny, snug pile of teal fur, seeking even greater comfort.

The gentle touch on his belly startled him momentarily, but the sensation was so soothing that he couldn't resist purring softly in his sleep. The Gryffindor's presence was but a fleeting interruption in his dream world, quickly forgotten as he surrendered once more to the enchanting allure of sleep.

Dear Wren! I keep hearing that you have a kitty cat named Egg. I've never seen her/him around despite petting Charlie on more than a few occasions. Are you hiding Egg from us? What are they like?

Why, I’m not the one that’s been hiding her! Hellendil is entirely at fault! I’m sure someone in the Ravenclaw Common Room can attest, he’s the one that has been monopolising her attention all this time 😹

Followed by series of Egg’s purring, demanding for some attention to be shed upon her immediately.

Oh, Meech! I think you would be charmed by Egg. She’s an absolute angel with whiskers, an avid explorer of the castle and will try to climb you, especially someone of your stature!

I have found a pretty sturdy-looking broom handle! Some old lady I ran errands for at Hogsmeade heard me talking about my broom and I ended up exchanging my pay for a handle… She said her granddaughter had gone through a similar situation to mine (ahem, burning the broom partially) but she destroyed an opposite end =D

I have already reconnected both salvageable pieces. I think I would've been a good muggle, I can fix pretty much anything! Wish I was as good with magic. Oh, magic, it dissipated in both broom parts, as we presumed it would. You mentioned something about some charms we could try to put on it so that it flies? I'm absolutely garbage at stuff like that but you mentioned something about doing some research. I swear to Merlin, when my fellow beater accidentally threw that bludger at me during the practice the other day I was sure my broom would just shatter at the impact… They are too good of a beater, wouldn't want to be on an opposite team receiving such a blow!

I'll find somebody to borrow a broom from till mine can fly, so no rush!

yay!!! i think you solved the hardest part. i talked to sebastian, and he gave me a stack of books to read about the flying charms, and now that i've gone through them, i am pretty sure that i can....... fix your broom's flying abilities?!?!

i'll see you down in the common room later-- but maybe we should go out to the grounds, just to be safe?! might tug seb with us....... just in case. he's more talented with his wand than either of us, i think.... er.... yeah, that's a good idea.
