So it recently came to my attention that all of this current anti semitic narrative about Israel is based in Cold War Era Soviet propaganda. I found it in an essay, and I ran it by someone who I think lives in Russia, and they confirmed it. Are you aware of this? Do you know of any other resources I can read up on it?
Fascists want to kill the Jews, Communists want to make it that Jews never existed. The Soviet empire spread antisemitic conspiracy theories through "progressive" and "revolutionary" groups worldwide.
Long history of Soviet antisemitism
Account from a Communist Romanian defector on how this shaped Soviet foreign policy, especially towards the Arab world
Angela Davis embodying revolutionary politics and antisemitism
Death-level antisemitism from your typical online tankies (who also hate trans people and people with disabilities, btw)
Other historical examples

Howard: Should war come, Mr. Stalin, where is it most likely to break out? Where are the war clouds the most menacing, in the East or in the West?
Stalin: In my opinion there are two seats of war danger. The first is in the Far East, in the zone of Japan. I have in mind the numerous statements made by Japanese military men containing threats against other powers. The second seat is in the zone of Germany. It is hard to say which is the most menacing, but both exist and are active. Compared with these two principal seats of war danger, the Italian-Abyssinian war is an episode. At present, the Far Eastern seat of danger reveals the greatest activity. However, the centre of this danger may shift to Europe. This is indicated, for example, by the interview which Herr Hitler recently gave to a French newspaper. In this interview Hitler seems to have tried to say peaceful things, but he sprinkled his “peacefulness” so plentifully with threats against both France and the Soviet Union that nothing remained of his “peacefulness.” You see, even when Herr Hitler wants to speak of peace he cannot avoid uttering threats. This is symptomatic.
Howard: What situation or condition, in your opinion, furnishes the chief war menace today?
Stalin: Capitalism.
Howard: In which specific manifestation of capitalism?
Stalin: Its imperialist, usurpatory manifestation.
You remember how the first World War arose. It arose out of the desire to re-divide the world. Today we have the same background. There are capitalist states which consider that they were cheated in the previous redistribution of spheres of influence, territories, sources of raw materials, markets, etc., and which would want another redivision that would be in their favour. Capitalism, in its imperialist phase, is a system which considers war to be a legitimate instrument for settling international disputes, a legal method in fact, if not in law.
Howard: May there not be an element of danger in the genuine fear existent in what you term “capitalistic countries,” of an intent on the part of the Soviet Union to force its political theories on other nations?
Stalin: There is no justification whatever for such fears. If you think that Soviet people want to change the face of surrounding states, and by forcible means at that, you are entirely mistaken. Of course, Soviet people would like to see the face of surrounding states changed, but that is the business of the surrounding states. I fail to see what danger the surrounding states can perceive in the ideas of the Soviet people if these states are really sitting firmly in the saddle.
Howard: Does this, your statement, mean that the Soviet Union has to any degree abandoned its plans and intentions for bringing about world revolution?
Stalin: We never had such plans and intentions.
Howard: You appreciate, no doubt, Mr. Stalin, that much of the world has long entertained a different impression.
Stalin: This is the product of a misunderstanding.
Howard: A tragic misunderstanding?
Stalin: No, a comical one. Or, perhaps, tragicomic.
You see, we Marxists believe that a revolution will also take place in other countries. But it will take place only when the revolutionaries in those countries think it possible, or necessary. The export of revolution is nonsense. Every country will make its own revolution if it wants to, and if it does not want to, there will be no revolution. For example, our country wanted to make a revolution and made it, and now we are building a new, classless society.
But to assert that we want to make a revolution in other countries, to interfere in their lives, means saying what is untrue, and what we have never advocated.

The Jewish Museum in NYC refused to have me lecture there or even do a book signing. They told the employee who’d floated this idea: “No. The book is too Jewish.” He was distraught and came to see me. Gently, I told him that what they meant was that the book was not “politically correct.”
About a month later, what I said at a grassroots feminist conference held at Barnard caused a near-riot. I was lecturing on a completely different subject for a group of African-American women who loved every word I said—until an agent provocateur asked me about “the humiliation at the checkpoints.” I told her that I opposed apartheid and that Islamic countries are the largest practitioners of both gender and religious apartheid, as well as practitioners of slavery.”
The place went wild and I had to be escorted out for my safety.
I lost most of my left-wing feminist colleagues. Those who did not choose to ostracize me, insisted on fighting with me. They, too, did not believe that anti-Zionism had anything to do with antisemitism; that as good Jews or as good people, they believed in supporting the victim, not the victimizer, and Israel was always viewed as the “occupying victimizer of innocent civilians in Gaza and on the West Bank.”
To this day, those feminists who remain Marxists, (and who still talk to me), continue to tell me that I “just don’t understand, that Israel is in the wrong, that the Palestinians are innocent, that Hamas/ISIS are freedom fighters.” Some of them proudly join “Queers for Palestine” demonstrations. The sight of Jewish blood has excited them so much that they wish for more. They read Ha-aretz, The Nation, and Al-Jazeera. Their minds have been deformed by disinformation and lethal propaganda.
Early on, at a conference at New Paltz, I had to endure an Israeli psychiatrist, one Ruchama Marton, (a woman), who believed that Israel was like a battering husband and his wife was a Palestinian. Oh, how she was cheered.
For years, I needed police protection on campuses when I spoke.

Jews are now engaged in an existential war for our survival, both in Israel and around the globe, including in the West. Soon, America will have to face the possibility and probability that World War 3 is upon us; that continuing to appease Iran will only lead to more danger; that Iran is behind Hamas and Hezbollah, that the Hama barbarians trained for their massacre in Iran; and that Americans have already been killed, captured, or fired upon.
Where do you stand?

MAGA Communist and Gender Critical Marxists are both the equivalent of a foul pieces of shit. MAGA Communist and Gender Critical Marxists will always end up aligning with Reactionaries and Fascists. It is literally in the name of MAGA Communists. And for Gender Critical Marxists, where is the most support for Anti-Trans Bigotry? While it exists on the Left, on a small scale. The grand majority is coming from the reactionary rightwing people and regressive religious institutions. That is their allies. Because a ton of Communists, Marxists, Anarchists, Socialists, Social Democrats, Liberals, Moderates, etc. either support Trans People or are turned off by Gender Criticals making hating Trans People a core tenant of their politics and personality. So they are left with teaming up with Rightwing Folks and Fascists. Communism was always about uplifting oppressed (usually focusing on Class). But the only times in America, it took a foothold was when they expanded that to Race (advocating uplifting Racial minorities). And the only way it is going to have any life in the modern Western world, is by embracing the call to uplift Queer Minorities, including Trans People.

I don't make that many coherent long posts on here (especially not related to LGBT stuff) and I think y'all should be glad. I have been rolling around a very long post in my mind for months now and like it's would be a fairly lukewarm take in communist circles but it would be a nuclear take for tumblr.

Something I noticed about leftists is they LOVE to play white knight as much as every white guy, you know what I mean? It's like they see leftism as their horse that they'll ride in on to rescue everyone else. Those poor naive normies, they don't even understand they need saving! But leftists will be there! Fighting for the damsels who can't fight for themselves! Woe is them! Nobody will even listen to these martyrs telling everyone about how we can save ourselves!
But when you say something like "no, colonizers and white people specifically are the reason it got this bad, like the LEAST you can do is help since you're aware of class struggle now. Also there are some other -isms that need attention too so stop speaking over BIPOC and let me catch you up on those."....they get mad.
Like nobody told you to make outdated Marxism your whole personality. It's not MY fault that telling you to make your leftism more intersectional feels like a personal attack on you and your morals. Y'all are like Bible thumpers at this point.
Point is, white supremacy will never end if even the people claiming to be on the side of anti-fascism and BIPOC refuse to do the work of dismantling the white supremacy in both their ideologies and self just because it costs a microcosm of their pride and sense of self.
How ignorant to say it's not worthy of being a priority before classism when you can't even see how inherently pervasive it is in a theory you dedicate your life to.

"Should Read Marx' Works," Border Cities Star. June 7, 1933. Page 3. ----- SO LABORITES SAY ---- Think Star Writer's Study Is Not Complete ---- The works of the late Karl Marx, who wrote the Communist Manifesto and who expounded the theory of surplus values, the class struggle and the materialistic conception of history, were recommended last night as additions to the library of W. L. Clark, Border Cities Star columnist.
The suggestion came from School Trustee R. M. Scott at the regular session of Windsor branch of the Labor Party. The recognized leaders of thought in the local branch seemed eager to furnish Mr. Clark with their definitions on Socialism. Mr. Scott suggested he "read Karl Marx" and obtain the true definition.
But John McLean chose to put forth his own interpretation as follows: "It means nothing more or less than a complete annihilation of the syndi-cates which are taking over the wealth. Many are getting less of it while the few are getting more of it."
Mr. McLean bemoaned the apparent fact that "in this modern super-level of intelligence, we are going back to prehistoric days and find The Star groping in the dark."
"And our great friend, Mr. Clark, I don't know whether he is throwing out the life line or the dead line. Or whether he is so benumbed that he is asking what any school boy can answer: What is Socialism? And I see he takes as his leader, a man who, like himself, doesn't know the A.B.C.'s of Socialism."
Mr. McLean evidently was referring to Jean-Francois Pouliot, M.P.. who set forth 55 questions for J. S. Woodsworth, M. P., leader of the Co-Opera-tive Commonwealth Federation.
None of these questions have been answered, although Ben Levert, Labor nominee in North Essex, recently waved them nonchalantly aside with the observation that Mr. Woodsworth couldn't waste time answering questions which, except for nine of them, any school boy could answer.

I'm glad I read that lengthy, loaded-with-blame letter to his father by tuberculosis-stricken Franz Kafka. The problem is deffo abusive patriarchy and how people won't reject that, including as heads of state.
The Trial, The Castle, The Judgement, In the Penal Colony... even A Country Doctor... all of Kafka makes sense when you read his letter to his abusive father. And all Kafka learned to do was run from it all internally, or lie there and putrefy...
Tumblr media
If Kafka had been stronger and happier, we wouldn't have his writing. So that's how life goes sometimes. Don't let it be in vain... we don't need to repeat the same sorrows endlessly without correcting the sources of all the trouble.
