Anomalous Employment Division

Description: As new anomalies appear in our world and other worlds, the ones we are already familiar with only get older and older. Thus, there's leaves three options for said anomalies leave them be, decommission and therefore Neutralize them, or utilize them. For those that can and should be utilized rather than neutralized they are debriefed here at the AED.

The AED is the dedicated to showing the more humane side of the Foundation by giving the contained anomalies a chance to benefit humanity rather than putting it in danger. As such the AED only works with sentient, humanoid, and non-hostile anomalies. All other anomalies are not in the jurisdiction of the AED. It should also be noted that SCPs debriefed by the AED are to no longer be referred to as my their SCP number or Code Name, instead they will be referred to by the names they originally had or the ones they chose for themselves. Upon completion of any training, augmentations, and treatment needed they will be referred to as Foundation Staff with Class F status. Class F status implies a Foundation staff member that has been affected by anomalous properties but is to not be contained, instead use their anomalous properties to further benefit the Foundation if at all possible.

- SCP-040/ Name: Dr. Evolution/ Current Age: 24/ Condition: Given Foundation lotion to prevent harm form UV rays and potential diseases. Trained by Foundation evolutionary biologists to understand her powers better/ Affiliation: Cryptozoology Division.

- SCP-049/ Name: Dr. Haselhurst/ Current Age: Unknown (Immortal)/ Condition: Begrudgingly agreed to work alongside the Foundation and only focus on the Pestilence as a side project rather than his main goal, is given a single Class-D every week as per agreement/ Affiliation: Fire Suppression Department - Biology and Health Division.

- SCP-053/ Name: Abby Johnson/ Current Age Biologically: 20/ Current Age Correctly: Unknown (Immortal)/ Condition: Is given a supplement to help her age like a normal human, at least until she reaches the age of 21. Is currently studying with the Fire Suppression Department to one day work with them. Is only allowed to visit SCP-682 once a month or more when testing is involved/ Affiliation: Understudy for Fire Suppression Department - Containment and Security Division.

- SCP-073/ Name: Agent Cain/ Current Age: Unknown (Immortal)/ Condition: is give regular therapy by Dr. Talic and has been equipped with [data expunged] allowing him to turn off his powers when not on missions/ Affiliation: MTF Alpha-9.

- SCP-105/ Name: Agent Thompson Captain Iris Clef/ Current Age: 41/ Condition: Given a newly furnished room and complete freedom to wander Site-[data expunged] and has been promised to not only be properly trained but also better treated by Foundation staff. New equipment has also been promised as well as freedom to visit her friend Agent Victoria and her girlfriend wife Dr. Clef/ Affiliation: MTF Captain of Alpha-9 Division Dagger.

- SCP-134/ Name: Dr. Stella Starchild/ Current Age: 40/ Condition: Given an augmentation surgery to her ears to allow her to better percive her surroundings. She still can’t see but is able to tell where objects are and how to avoid bumping into people. She doesn’t like to talk so instead, she was taught ASL, JSL, CSL, BSL, and FSL. Had a particular interest with Theology and thus was taught in the subject as well/ Affiliation: Department of Tactical Theology.

- SCP-166/ Dr. Meri Clef/ Current Age: 43/ Condition: given a necklace made by the Foundation that is able to suppress her anomalous abilities without harming her in any way/ Affiliation: Fire Suppression Department - Psychology and Therapy Division.

- SCP-191/ Name: Agent Cidney Victoria/ Current Age: 40/ Condition: Given several surgeries with the regenerative cybernetic flesh of Tau-5 units and thus she now has their capabilities, their strength, their speed, their regeneration, their immunity, and can now talk. She still doesn't need to eat but does so out of joy/ Affiliation: MTF Tau-5.

- SCP-239/ Name: Dr. Sigurrós Stefánsdóttir (Agent Sigurrós Stefánsdóttir)/ Current Age: 38/ Condition: Received therapy from Dr. Corvio and Dr. [data expunged]. Later trained to properly control her powers by MTF Hecate-A: Real Magic/ Affiliation: Department of Technology, Alchemy, Science, Magic and Warfare (Mobile Task Force Commander of Hecate-A: Real Magic - Oracles Third Eye.)

- SCP-347/ Name: Agent Claudia Rains/ Current Age: 56/ Condition: Reluctantly trained by MTF Specialists in covert operations, hand to hand, and close quarters combat/ Affiliation: Spy Agent for MTF Delta-5 and MTF Alpha-9.

- SCP-507/ Name: Agent John Hopper/ Current Age: Unknown (Assumed to be in 40s or 50s)/ Condition: Was given a Collar made with vibration crystals and created by the DTASMW to keep him in our reality. He can now only jump into other realities when he wants too. Like before he is still immune to the hazards of other realties. Given monthly therapy sessions with Doctor Rover/ Affiliation: Emergency agent of MTF Alpha-9 Division Dagger.

- SCP-590/ Name: Dr. Thomas Jack Shaw/ Current Age: 43/ Condition: Has been given a Foundation supplement that restores his health should he ever use his powers. Has been taught by Dr. Haselhurst and Dr. MacQuoid in medical science and how to use advanced Foundation medical tools, equipment, and medicine. Regularly sees Dr. Clef to ensure his mental health doesn't deteriorate/ Affiliation: Fire Suppression Department - Biology and Health Division.

- SCP-734/ Name: Agent David Founder/ Current Age 15/ Condition: Raised by two AFA-3's designed to be immune to his powers. Taught him the values of life, the SCP Foundation, and the great use of his powers. Is given regular psyche evaluations by Dr. Corvio/ Affiliation: Mobile Task Force Alpha-9

- SCP-1360/ Name: Agent Hector/ Current Age: Unknown/ Condition: [Data Expunged]/ Affiliation: MTF Tau-5.

- SCP-1985/ Name: Agent Jacqueline Johnson/ Current Age: 42/ Condition: Given complete control of the anomalous abilities of the device through Dr. Stefansdottir. She can now travel to any reality she likes and temporarily alter her body to become accustomed to that reality or gain abilities that are considered common place within that reality/ Affiliation: Field Agent within the Department of the Impossible.

- SCP-2118/ Name: Researcher Carly Love/ Current Age: 14/ Condition: Given a mask that suppresses her anomalous outbursts; has been given different masks with different styles for fashion purposes. Has been adopted by Dr. Susan Love and sees Dr. Talic on a monthly basis/ Affiliation: Understudy for Department of Universal Affairs.

- SCP-2192/ Name: Researcher Milaya Atomic/ Current Age: 13/ Condition: Has been given bath bombs containing chemicals that sooth her damaged body and with time should give her new skin. If this doesn't work, she is to be given a full body bio suit that will act as her skin. There is also the construction of her armor that should allow her to control the radiation emitted from her body. Regularly receives training from Agent Wells and psyche evaluations from Dr. Talic/ Affiliation: Understudy for the Anomalous Employment Division.

- SCP-2241/ Name: Cameron Crusader/ Current Age: 10/ Condition: Receives training from Dr. Stefansdottir and therapy sessions from Dr. Clef/ Affiliation: Future candidate for MTF Alpha-9 Division Sword.

- SCP-2273/ Name: Captain Alexei Belitrov/ Current Age: 55/ Condition: Received proper therapy from Dr. Carvio and the suit was repaired and upgraded by the Department of Technology, Alchemy, Science, Magic and Warfare. He is now able to take suit off and on at will/ Affiliation: Captain of MTF Alpha-9 Division Sword.

- SCP-2639/ Names: Agent GRRGRL, Agent WTF_STFU, Agent BOOGER/ Condition: Thanks to the Church of Maxwellism the Foundation was able to manifest immortal bodies for each of them that will simply respawn in an area close to where they died. They can now even see the world for what it is and are even able to interact with the world normally and modify their bodies to appear how they want. They can also manifest any SCP-2639-B item they desire at any time they want. SCP-2639-C has also been upgraded to ensure that the three of them won’t have to worry about death by other means. Furthermore, the Church of Maxwellism also made [data expunged] to ensure that if the computer does get destroyed the three of them will simply go to [data expunged] which is a sort of digital afterlife for Maxwellists/ Affiliation: MTF-Omega-9 (Sometimes works with MTF Tau-5)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-████ has free permission to roam its designated site. SCP-████ should not be allowed access to SCPs higher than its personnel level. SCP-████ is to be allowed Level 4 personnel privileges. These privileges are to be immediately revoked should SCP-████ show any signs of aggression or hostility towards the foundation or fellow personnel. SCP-████ is to reside in a foundation monitored apartment in ████, one (1) mile away from Site-██. SCP-████ must report to Site-██ everyday at ████. In the event that it does not report to Site-██ at the mandated time, it must be swiftly located and questioned immediately about its absence.

SCP-████’s location should be monitored at all times via a tracker embedded in a specialised collar. If SCP-████ is ever found to have removed its collar for a non-foundation approved reason, its privileges are to be revoked and it is to be re-contained.

In the event that SCP-████ becomes hostile, MTF Epsilon-9 (“Fire Eaters”) are to be deployed and used to corral SCP-████ into a standard humanoid anomaly cell.

SCP-████ has been serving the foundation since June/19/1999.

Description: SCP-████ has the appearance of a middle aged woman of mixed-race with curly brown hair.SCP-████ is composed of micro-organisms that bond together to mimic a humanoid body. These microorganisms are capable of flight, flight patterns resembling those of /rhopalocera/(butterflies). This “schooling” could be a possible survival mechanism to scare predators or mimic human behaviour for reasons unknown.

Individually the organisms that make up SCP-████ do not possess any degree of intelligence or sentience. When SCP-████ is damaged, the organisms begin to replicate themselves at high speeds to replace the lost members. The organisms have a high resistance to sharp objects, blunt force trauma, projectiles and asphyxiation, though they are weak to fire.

SCP-████ has no blood or bodily fluids, X-rays of its body only show mass amounts of dots in the shape of a humanoid. SCP-████ emits an unknown form of non-ionizing radiation that has yet to be identified, though it does not have any effect on humans whatsoever.

SCP-████’s humanoid form claims its name to be “Vera Dixie” and that it was born in “March/7/1974”. It dislikes being referred to by its item number and prefers to be called by its name. SCP-████ has a base IQ of 140 that increases with the number of organisms in its form. SCP-████ has demonstrated the ability to break apart and reform to avoid attacks or projectiles. This ability can also be used at will, as seen through testing.

SCP-████ is not hostile and has not shown any open hostility to the foundation or fellow personnel. Site-21 staff

Current list of high clearance staff employed at Site-21:

Dr. [Redacted] Heisenberg: Head of Recruitment and Director of Site-21, deceptively sweet and kind to new researchers, doctors, and d-class. Very harsh to D-Class subjects.

Dr. [Redacted] Clark: Dr. Clark is a quick witted individual with a mind for deciphering behaviors. Dr. Heisenberg's junior by 10 years, she strangely was Dr. Heisenberg's first pick for Site-21 when she was only a junior researcher

Dr. Eddie Fink: Dr. Clark's subordinate, Dr. Fink is a fairly timid Doctor who seemingly has the anomalous ability to survive off of caffeine alone (though this may just be a joke spread by everyone in the site due to never seeing Dr. Fink drink anything other than caffeinated beverages).

Dr. Riviera: Dr. Heisenberg's subordinate and one of her closes allies, Dr. Riviera the most chaotic of the bunch. Dr. Riviera has shown pyromanic tendencies many times before, leading to Site-21 to be coated with [Redacted]. Dr. Riviera is said to be dating Dr. Clark but the latter will never admit it, replying to all inquiries with "I am married to my job". Dr. Riviera is tasked with dispatching and decommissioning any anomalies whenever Dr. Heisenberg is unavailable.

Agent Ivan [Redacted]: Member of MTF Epsilon-9 "Fire Eaters" and site security, Agent Ivan is the site's more sane pyrotechnic specialist. Constantly donned in a pilot's gas mask, Ivan is a very intimidating operative. Agent Ivan and Dr. Heisenberg seemingly have history by the way they interact. Agent Ivan uses his free time to test out new incendiary agents.

Dr. Hansel "Hans the Assistant" Ackermann: One of the newer members of the site. Hans is Ivan's personal assistant or "personal twink" according to Fink. Hans knew Ivan before even knowing of the foundation, which was a better time according to him. He gained his burn scar and knowledge of the foundation after an incident he refuses to talk about. He has broken his bones a total of hundreds of times due to Ivan.

Note

An au where Tokoyami is transported to the SCP Foundation world where none of the few hundred years of evolution happened in that world, meaning there are no things such as quirks or mutants.

However, due to the appearance of his head and the very obvious presence of Dark Shadow pictures had been taken and sightings had surfaced about a humanoid figure wandering the outskirts of Shizuoka prefecture. Even appearing in alleyways and such.

The foundation sent MTF-Alpha 9- the reborn Omega-7. (A Mobile Task Force explicitly intended to train and utilize humanoid SCP objects in the field) that was stationed in Japan before being ordered to scope the areas were the unknown entity is sighted. Ordered to use lethal force if necessary.

Almost a week later they reported the being was very familiar with the prefecture and the forest around it, thus being able to avoid the Team for long periods of time. However, the situation was given light when one of the personnel within the team coded "Vistage" maimed the entity and shot a part of it's leg while fleeing, giving them advantage on the mission as the entity screamed in a way that was almost human.

But before the team could get the upper hand on the situation- a loud, earsplitting roar was heard throughout the forest before a large shadowy entity rose up from the canopies. Whilst the MTF-Alpha 9 had begun fighting off against the other unknown entity they realized that no matter how much they do or how many bullets they shot off, there wasn't any significant effect on the entity even after launching off several grenades; though they noted that the grenades were much more effective on subduing the entity.

Much later another team appeared on the scene as requested for backup- MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") soon arrived at the area were the other entity had sprung. Carrying with them multiple explosives, such as AT4S and RPG-7s and other such whilst half of the MTF-Alpha 9 were given orders via radio to locate the previous unknown entity before this one.

Significant aftereffects were soon noted when the MTF Epsilon-6 began to take action; firing multiple attacks at the shadowy entity but otherwise still not enough as the entity begins to act more viscous and lethal.

Large shadow claws descended from the treetops and grabbing the assault vehicles with personnels still inside before thrashing them about, thus as the debris fell from the sky as did body parts and blood. Raining over them in a red sea.

Soon after, almost all of both teams were eliminated on the spot after being thrown or dragged by the larger entity, while what's left with MTF-Alpha 9 still has not found the first previous entity that was originally meant as the main target.

MTF Epsilon-9 (specializes in the use of incendiary weaponry and operations in high-temperature environments) was then sent after the entity after reports of fire being the most effective by the remaining task forces, and thus began attacking as soon as the team arrived as the large entity roared and thrashed around before being almost subdued completely.

Expecting the entity to drop on the ground they were shocked to see the previously targeted entity on the forest grounds instead, curled up on a ball shivering but otherwise did not make any sounds as multiple wounds and burns covered it's exposed skin from the burnt fabrics of what could be a school uniform.

The entity were soon transported and contained on Site-[][][] after the initial event, though the SCP Foundation made sure to track any anomalous aftereffects within the forest and around itself.

SCP-2062 is a humanoid entity weighing around 45.9 kg (109 Ibs) and a height over 158 cm (5'2 ft) with fair skin and lean but otherwise strong build. Although the most distinctive was his head of a black bird, possibly supposed to resemble that of a crow or a raven. He has a tan, yellowish beak which is slightly hooked down at the end, thin, unnatural red eyes with a small black pupil, one on each side of his head, and a red choker, which he rarely removes. Despite the appearance of his head, however, his body looks like one of a normal human, with rather fair skin.

There is another entity that is seemed to be tied with SCP-2062 however, otherwise recognized as the large shadowy entity during the containment procedure of Shizuoka Prefecture. And was classified as SCP-419.

SCP-2062 and SCP-419 seems to be in what it appears to be in a symbiotic relationship as SCP-419 seems to be unable from detaching itself from SCP-2062 during the first attempted experimentation snd research.

SCP-419 is a sentient shadowy entity capable of human speech (mainly only japanese but otherwise shows recognition over English signs and words, but it is not considered if the entity is indeed fluent in English as well). SCP-419 is capable of movement on normal scales, but is fast enough to snap at anyone who dares to draw near it and SCP-2062 protectively for unknown reasons.

The entity also shows signs of irritation and anger whenever it is referred to as "SCP-419" by the researchers and SCP Foundation personnels.

Currently, both SCP-2062 and SCP-419 are both contained in Foundation Site-[REDACTED] for further research, though testing may halt before SCP-2062 is completely healed to undergo experimentation and interview.

I have now designed 5 Mobile Task Force shirts on my shop! Zeta-9 “Mole Rats,” Epsilon-11 “Nine-Tailed Fox,” Episilon-6 “Village Idiots,” Alpha-9 “Last Hope,” Beta-7 “Maz Hatters.” There are a LOT of MTFs. What team would you want to see done next? Credit to Sunnyclockwork @hisclockworkservants for the Mobile Task Force team logos these use. I’ve changed some details on the logos as to develop them more and add my own touches to them. Someday, I’d really like to totally revamp the logos for new patch designs.

Madness Uncontained

Today is the anniversary for Madness Combat's debut on Newgrounds, Madness Day. So enjoy this little insanity I made.

Item Number: SCP 013-NV

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: The anomaly is currently at large. MTF Epsilon 6 "Village Idiots" is to respond to confirmed sightings. Upon capture, SCP 013-NV is to be placed in a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m reinforced steel cell with dim lightning to avoid any damage to it's eyes. SCP 013-NV must be sedated before any relocation or cleaning of its cell should occur.

Description: SCP 013-NV is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 1.5 meters in height. It has gray skin with a texture similar to clay with a thick durability. It's left hand constantly floats despite absence of an arm. The entity's right arm is abnormally large with the shoulder to mid-elbow mahogany red and the remainder pitch black. Yellow stripes and pale yellow spines adorn the red section of its arm. It is hypothesized that at some point, SCP 013-NV's arm had been torn off before regenerating.

Few eyewitness reports state that the entity appears to have a metal prothestic lower jaw and jagged teeth protruding down from the upper jaw. One survivor of an SCP 013-NV attack stated that it had no eyes or nose but a gray faded line cross instead.

The entity is covered in unknown issue black combat fatigue in varying states of disrepair. Outfit consists of: bullet proof armor plate, one fingerless glove, one face mask, one black bandana, red lensed goggles, steel sole boots, helmet with built in mouth guard, and black trenchcoat. SCP 013-NV always carries with it a katana made from an unknown alloy bearing a dragon shaped hilt. Etched on the blade is Tai characters that translates to 'Crush, Kill, Destroy.'

SCP 013-NV is very hostile and easy to agitate. It will kill the one that angers it alongside bodily harm any person in it's vicinity. The entity is highly adept at using various weapons such as knives, firearms, swords and even everyday objects like toothbrush with lethal effectiveness.

SCP 013-NV appears to have some form of electrokinesis that appears as blackish grey electricity. It often uses this ability to move objects or heavily maim targets with enough power to tear apart a truck's haul in a single punch.

SCP 013-NV was discovered in Eureka, Nevada on 9-22-2022. Numerous reports of brutal deaths and glowing red eyes through the small town had marketed an investigation by Agent ____ and Agent ___. The entity was spotted feasting on a coyote in the town's junkyard.

Agent ___ was requesting an MTF squad for backup when something alerted the entity of their presence. SCP 013-NV tossed the carcass at both agents before fleeing the scene. Mobile Task Force manage to catch up to the entity at _______.

Upon being provoked, SCP 013-NV viciously attacked personal with lethal efficiency. The anomaly escaped albeit badly wounded leaving 28 casualties and 2 survivors. There has been no confirmed sightings so far.

"What in the world??" "Hey, it's alright. I won't hurt you. Those injuries look very bad. Let's get you clean and patched up." "By the way, what's your name?" " Hank J. Wimbleton? My name is (Y/N). It's nice to meet you."

Something new I wanted to try out with this. I've never written a report like this so I hope it turns out well. NV does stand for Nevada since any Madness Combat characters that get involved will pop up in said state.

Code Name: When Winter Breaks/ Analog Snow

Object Class: Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Captured samples of SCP-AWS are contained inside metal crates coated with common metals that block frequencies such as aluminum, copper, and nickel. There are 40 creates in total and all are stacked and contained within 40x40x40 meter containment cell at Site-AL. The walls of the containment cell are also made of the same combinations of metals. The wall is double reinforced with space in between the walls. The space in between walls is filled with heaters to heat up the metal in the walls to prevent the room going any lower than 80 degrees Celsius.

Regarding SCP-AWS instances that have yet to be contained. The Foundation company referred to as, Security Computer Protection is responsible for providing better signal protection on all communication devices to all customers. The devices are to have stronger and more secure frequency communication to prevent SCP-AWS from feeding. The Foundation's ally, the Church of Maxwellism have assisted in creating devices or upgrading current household devices to prevent SCP-AWS from evolving and infecting the signals.

The United States Military and the Eight Wings of Mekhane have assisted the Foundations in creating a military company known as Satellites Connections Project. The company is to create, mass produce, and deploy new satellites that target anomalous frequencies and target the source. It is with hopes that with the satellites, the surviving SCP-AWS samples.

Mobile Task Force Poseidon-1: By Analog Sword and Frozen Shield, is tasked with hunting down, culling, and containing SCP-AWS samples. MTF Poseidon-1 is also responsible for analyzing samples of SCP-AWS to see if any mutations have taken place.

Description: SCP-AWS is a sentient colony of bacteria that is able to live in crystalized formations such as sugar, salt, and snow. SCP-AWS seems to prefer snow and only resort to any other crystalized formation if its survival depends on it. Instances of SCP-AWS are aware of being a colony of bacteria and always refers to itself as "us" or more disturbingly "god".

SCP-AWS is able to manipulate frequencies of 950 MHz or lower but never higher, these frequencies are typically used in analog tv. SCP-AWS is able to use these frequencies to communicate via audio and visual imagery depending on what is available. SCP-AWS can interact and send messages to analog devices from at least 500 feet away from itself and possibly farther. SCP-AWS can not only manipulate frequencies but also produce frequencies when a colony grows large enough. This allowed a colony of SCP-AWS to mimic voices it hears as well as the voices of its victims. SCP-AWS seems to feed on the frequencies it infects to gain sustenance. SCP-AWS not only eats and manipulates frequencies but can also use the frequencies to alter the snow it uses as a colony base. SCP-AWS uses the snow it inhabits to build a seemingly normal snowman body where it creates a mouth with functioning vocal cords and a human face.

SCP-AWS can use the frequencies to alter the snow to look like whatever it wants it to with a 99.9% accuracy rate. SCP-AWS can also use frequencies to manipulate the temperature of the air to turn the moisture into snow that also happens to contain SCP-AWS. This means that SCP-AWS is able to reproduce not via mitosis, but manifestation. How this is possible is unknown. Dr. Malik has taken the liberty of dubbing this process Metadosis. Metadosis being a biological cell process where a living bacterial cell consumes energy to multiply. When the bacteria multiplies its similar to mitosis; however, the bacterial cells uses additional energy to shoot off the new copy along the food source (this case being frequencies). This copy flows with the frequencies and feeds to become fully developed in a new location. Unfortunately, this is only a working theory of Dr. Malik, the captured samples of SCP-AWS are still being tested to fully understand their capabilities. What is known, is that the cells can travel anywhere frequencies can travel. Essentially meaning SCP-AWS can use Metadosis to spread anywhere where its frequencies can reach, and snow cannot be melted.

Despite feeding on the energy within frequencies, SCP-AWS seems to have a hunger for living flesh as well though it gains nothing from doing so. SCP-AWS seems to prefer to mimic humans or at the very least their faces. It has been theorized that SCP-AWS eats humans in order to understand and therefore mimic the buildup of the human body. SCP-AWS as a whole, views itself as a superior being that wants all life to be like it. It often manipulates analog frequencies of both radio and tv to show propaganda stating that the "snow will come for all" and "you will be like us". SCP-AWS is essentially a bacterial colony that is capable of creating Apex hunter snowmen that can create more snow, mimic voices and appearances, and thus lure prey into any trap. However, SCP-AWS is not omnipotent, without frequencies, SCP-AWS is unable to continue breeding and therefore unable to create more colonies inhabiting shapeshifting snowmen. Furthermore, the snow SCP-AWS is non anomalous and thus can easily be melted by extreme heat. Meaning wintertime in areas that use analog frequencies are the only chance SCP-AWS will be able to feed and kill as an apex predator.

Because of this, Dr. Malik has proposed SCP-AWS to be classified as a Avgotheo Hazard. Avgotheo Hazards being anomalies that are typically extremely weak but when the conditions are met can become a powerful or even God-like entity with the power to wipe out all life in its area of effect. In other words, these are anomalies that can be perceived as safe but have the potential to be a Keter class or Apollyon class anomaly, making them twice as dangerous.

SCP-AWS was discovered on January 3rd, 1983, when the University of Minesota reported hearing strange messages from a laboratory within [data expunged]. Both the FBI: Unusual Incidents Unit and the SCP Foundation was alerted, however only the UIU deployed a squad right away. According to the UIU they lost contact with the squad on the same day after going to [data expunged] located in the town of [data expunged]. Afterwards the UIU was ordered to stand down by both the U.S. government and the SCP Foundation. On January 4th, the SCP Foundation then deployed Foundation Agents with snowplows and Foundation weaponry with containment gear. The Agents reported finding lots of vehicles including police cars and the local news station van but no civilians present. The Foundation has lost contact with them after the reported going into the basement of [data expunged]. One survivor got out of the basement, but the Foundation lost contact with the survivor quickly afterwards. A single survivor managed to get a message out by morse code stating, "weapons do nothing snow dangerous send he00000000000000 send snow send snow send snow send snow".

Because of the message Mobile Task Force Delta-14 was quickly sent in on January 5th. The squad consisted of six units all armed with adaptive temperature protection armor and laser rifles. Because of their weaponry Delta-14 was ordered to avoid the town and instead head straight for [data expunged]. The following is a recording of the encounter.

D1: Alright weapons hot! We're almost at the [data expunged].

Four of the six units exit the fortified van, two hang back and act as a command.

D1: Command do you copy us?

C1: We copy you D1, your cameras are live, and your health monitors are online. You are free to proceed with the mission. Over.

D1: Copy, over and out. Alright people, remember the mission. Information is the priority! Avoid any and all civilians and don't engage unless you're sure it's an anomaly! Clear? Let's move out!

The four units marched in the middle of the cold snowy forest. They march for about 10 minutes before reaching [data expunged].

D2: Boss! There it is that's the mansion!

D1: Shit! Keep your voice down! There are police cars there, the place looks like its swarming with civilians! D3! Get up here and scope the area for civilians.

D3 does as D1 asks and remains silent for 1 minute while surveying the area.

D1: anything?

D3: No sir, just bad news.

D4: Bad news?

D3: The entire area is deserted no civilians or police and uh, I see FBI cars and by using the specialized vision scope I can see two belong to the UIU and two belong to us. They were all here but now they're just gone.

D1: Shit, so it really did kill everyone and leave no trace. Command did you get all of that? Probability of us entering a suicide mission is high. Over.

C1: Copy that D1, remember the main goal of the mission is information. we no absolutely nothing about this thing. Just find what you can and if you feel you are threatened, get your men out of there. Over.

D1: Copy that Command, over and out. Aright men keep your eyes peeled and if you see so much as a snowman in a place where it shouldn't, don't hesitate to open fire.

D4: Heh, copy that boss.

The four units close their distance toward the [data expunged] but first look around the cars for evidence.

D3: Damn, where did they all go?

D2: Unfortunately, the same place where we're going. To the basement, or at least that's my theory.

D4: You think it's another U.S. government experiment gone wrong?

D3: wouldn't be the first. Wasn't there that like an Era back in the 50's where the government kept nuking the desert and filling it with mutagenetic chemicals.

D2: Oh yeah it was like a giant bug epidemic for like a whole decade. Thankfully the GOC got rid of most of them.

D4: Shit, don't give those UN dogs any praise. We can do anything they can only better. The only reason they're even in the ACPA is because we need the UN to stay close.

D1: Enough with the chit-chat! Anyone find anything useful?

D2: I think I did, over here boss.

D1: a trail?

D3: What kind of trail is that?

D2: I was asking myself that until I realized it's a trail of a body being dragged. there you can see signs of hands thrashing.

D4: Fuck, look at the window it leads too. There's blood all over it.

D3: Wait hold on a sec... yup as I suspected, here's the morse code Messager from the previous agents.

D1: No doubt about it now then, whatever we're looking for is in there. Alright D2 with me, the rest of you stay out here and see if you can find anything else. Make sure nothing gets in and nothing besides us gets out.

D3: Roger that, lucky us, right?

D4: Yeah, sorry you got the short straw Mathews.

D2: Shut up. And stick to the code names idiot!

D1 and D2 proceed into the [data expunged] and observed the interior. They search around the interior for about 2 hours before going back to the floor level.

D2: Looks like it's been abandoned for decades.

D1: Must be a cover for the lab in the basement. Though not enough to keep stupid teenagers out if you ask me.

D2: I don't know why anyone would want to be wandering around a broken building with the snow outside blowing like it is.

D1: Regardless of the reasoning, we won't find answers unless we get to the basement.

D2: Right, right, sorry.

D1 and D2 continue to stick together and search for the basement. They look around until they find the basement door open after about 20 minutes.

D2: finally, found it!

D1: How many times do I have to tell you to keep your voice down! We don't know what's listening to us.

D2: Alright sorry... hey wait a minute.

D1: What?

D2: This... this doesn't make sense, look at the snow level, its thicker from the basement and thinner and more spread out the father away it is. The snow originated from the basement, not outside.

D1: So, the anomaly is definingly inside. possibly a weather-based anomaly then, like a device of some kind.

D2: I guess. but if that's the case then what the hell dragged those Foundation agents down here?

D1: Like you said, there's unfortunately only one way to find out.

Unknown: Hey can you help me with this?

D1: Fuck! Weapons hot!

D2: Come out with your hands up now!

D1: If you have a weapon drop it or you will be shot!

Unknown: Hey can you help me with this?

Unknown: I'm so cold!

D2: Shit there's survivors, we should get them out of here! Maybe they-

D1: Wait! shut up for a second.

Unknown: Hey Can you help me with this?

Unknown: Please send help! We're trapped!

D2: Boss what's wrong?

D1: Somethings not right here, we checked all around the mansion, but we didn't find anything. Now suddenly there are people calling out for help?

Unknown: Hey Can you help me with this?

Unknown: Please send help! We're trapped!

D1: Also listen to their voices, their repeating everything without a change in tone or shift. They don't even sound like their coming from the same direction.

D2: Shit is this some kind of Cognito Hazard?

D1: I doubt that, Command are you getting this?

C1: Affirmative, we are also receiving a signal interference but it's not strong enough to block us or manipulate our frequencies.

Unknown: Hey Can you help me with this?

D2: What is this? Snow coming from a basement, voices randomly repeating, people being dragged away? How does any of this connect?

D1: Command its possible we've encountered multiple anomalies each with different hazards and threats please advise.

C1: Copy that D1, you've acquired enough information get your men out of there.

C2: D1, can you contact D3 or D4. We are unable to reach them.

D1: Hold Command we're departing now, we should be able to reach the-

Unknown: Thanks for the help, bud.

D1: Shit! Open fire! Open fire!

Sounds of laser fire can be heard, this goes on for only 20 seconds. Afterwards nothing is heard but silence.

C1: D1 can you hear me? Delta-14 units? Please respond, can anyone hear me?

D2: ... There it is- There it is- There it is that's- the snow- look at the snow- look at the snow- it's been abandoned- wandering around- broken- The snow originated from the basement- The snow- is- outside. what's wrong? there's survivors- the snow- connect? at least- we're going- To- the same place- epidemic- abandoned- broken- sorry-

D3: all- gone- civilians- police- FBI- they all- better- we need- to stay close- we need- to stay close- where did- You- go? where did- You- go? lucky us- the first- I see- an Era- of- filling-

C1: Fuck this shit, we're getting out of here.

C2: Shit we're surrounded by snow!

C1: Calm down, just turn on the tire heaters, I'll start the engines and the security defense system.

C2: Ok I'm sorry your right... ok it working the tires are getting free, thank god we're almost out of here, I... are those snowmen?

Unknown: YOU WILL BE LIKE US.

C1: What the hell? How did they bypass-

The metal walls of the van can be heard bending. C1 and C2 can be heard screaming and begging for mercy as their interior is slowly shrinking.

Recording Ends

The recording eventually breaks while screaming can still be heard, it is assumed C1 and C2 were crushed to death 30 seconds to 1 minute after the recording stops. What remained of the van after the incident was a crumbled ball of metal, with punch and claw marks.

Due to the complete annihilation of the MTF Delta-14 units as well as the information collected when command streamed it all to Foundation satellites, a new plan was made. Instead, a Joint Task Force of Detla-14, Epsilon-9, and Lambda-12 was arranged but not deployed, due to the, at the time, hypothesized overwhelming threat. Instead of collection of information the Joint Task Force was instead sent in to evacuate as many survivors as possible, with the priority of survivors that are aware of SCP-AWS's existence for the purpose of more information. The JTF consisted of four Delta-14 units armed with adaptive temperature protection armor and laser rifles, six Epsilon-9 units with temperature nullification shields, temperature protection armor and plasma throwers, and four Lambda-12 units with flame throwers, laser pistols, and necrosis gas grenades.

The mission was to take place on January 8th and be disguised as a simple blizzard evacuation, however due to the blizzard coming much faster and stronger than expected the JTF was deployed sooner. They were deployed in a MFWF-13 "Mammoth", a truck the same size as a fire engine, with four defensive laser rifle turrets on the sides of the vehicle, and three turret slots on the top which for the mission was placed flamethrowers. The truck was reinforced with three different plating of armor temperature nullification, explosive absorption, and energy absorption. The Mammoth is also able to fit at least 150 people comfortably thought its possible to fit an additional 50 when comfort is disregarded.

The JTF did not prioritize covert status due to the blizzard providing the cover needed and reasoning for "government intervention". The mission was quickly deployed on January 7th, the following is a recording of halfway through the mission.

JTF-05: Shit! We got snow freaks incoming!

JTF-13: Eat this you fucking monster!

JTF-03: More are coming! Close the fucking hatch!

Scratching and clawing can be heard along with the mechanical noises of a door hatch closing and fire blasting.

JTF-11: Jesus Christ, that was close.

JTF-02: Ok so that makes 61 survivors so far, so where should we go next?

JTF-01: Nowhere! We're have more than enough! We're getting the fuck out of this place now!

JTF-04: Sir? We've only reached halfway through the town; our orders were to get to at least the Town Hall and evacuate the mayor and other town representatives.

JTF-01: Fuck the damn Town Hall, do you have any idea how many times we nearly died getting these civilians to safety?! This thing is fucking everywhere! We're leaving now!

JTF-06: Sorry man but the captain's right, every time we open that hatch more of those things end up being outside. I don't know how, but their multiplying. If we open the hatch again, they'll be an army on the other side.

JTF-01: You heard him, I'm not taking a chance like that. Hey! turn this thing around and get us out of here!

AFA-1 Driver: Acknowledged. Changing direction now.

The MFWF-13 "Mammoth" turned direction and drove for about 20 minutes down the road leading out of town. However, the AFA-1 suddenly stopped driving when sirens could be heard from every direction.

JTF-01: Why the hell did you stop?!

AFA-1: Several pedestrians are in front of the road to run them over would be a violation of Ethics Committee Protocol "Guardian Angel" which states-

JTF-01: For fuck's sake those aren't people! Their instances of the anomaly! Just run them over!

AFA-1: Biological scans indicate they have human DNA and therefore human and therefore are under protection of Protocol “Guardian Angel”.

JTF-01: Well, override the damn protocol!

AFA-1: Are you willing to use your Level 4 Clearance to override the Protocol "Guardian Angel"?

JTF-01: God damn it yes! Do it already!

AFA-1: Acknowledged. Continuing driving.

The SCP-AWS instances can be heard screaming despite them not moving. The Captain, JTF-01, later reported that some even threw themselves onto the front hull of the MFWF-13 "Mammoth" to try and stop it. The JTF units also reported that the impact from the SCP-AWS instances felt like they were being rammed by elephants. After the MFWF-13 "Mammoth" was recovered it did have minor dent damage indicating that it was hit with something of large size and massive weight despite. How SCP-AWS was able to make its snowman instances heavy enough to dent an MFWF-13 "Mammoth" is unknown.

JTF-04: Sir! There's a civilian trying to follow us outside.

JTF-01: If it's just one civilian then leave them, they're not worth it.

JTF-07: Hey wait Sir! That’s a Detla-14 unit with him! It’s a survivor from the first mission!

JTF-09: Someone like that could be useful sir.

JTF-01: damn it, alright fine! Activate the flamethrower turrets and laser rifle turrets! We're getting those men in no matter what!

Screaming and yelling can be heard along with the sound of a mechanical sound of the hatch opening. Afterwards heavy laser fire and fire blasting can be heard along with anomalous roaring and screaming.

JTF-01: Fuck! Close it now!

Thousands of voices can be heard as the hatch closes and the sounds of fire blasting. Carl Denby enters the MFWF-13 "Mammoth" with D1 from the first mission who was badly injured due to his right leg being broken.

JTF-12: Alright place him right there, I’ll take it from here.

Carl Denby: Thank you! I thought we were going to die out there! God bless you all, and I’m not even religious.. but I don't understand, how did the military know to come so quickly?

JTF-08: We uh, got a message from the University of Minesota. Anyways do you know anything about the [data expunged]? Or perhaps how it could be related to all of this happening?

Carl Denby: ... take this camera and these tape recordings. They contain everything you need to understand this thing.

JTF-01: Thank you, alright that should qualify for information, maybe then the higher ups will get off our back for not heading to Town Hall.

Carl Denby: Town Hall? I... I think their all gone... my client [data expunged] worked there as a camera operator. Last I saw her she was one of those things... They only turn into people they kill or want to kill.

JTF-01: So, there really is no one left. Alright then let's get out of here. Take us home!

AFA-1: Acknowledged.

The MFWF-13 "Mammoth" continues driving for about 40 minutes until it is announced they made it out of the town. civilians and JTF units can be heard chearing and crying out of joy. However, a loud bang sound can be heard outside the hull as the MFWF-13 "Mammoth" suddenly stops.

JTF-01: What the hell?! What just happened?!

AFA-1: ...

JTF-01: AFA-1 units respond! Tell me what the fuck just happened!

AFA-1: ... YOU WILL RETURN TO THE SNOW. YOU WILL BE LIKE US.

JTF-01: Shit!

Gunfire and screaming can be heard, due to the hull several bullets ricochet and hit civilians and JTF units. unfortunately, among the chaos power is lost inside the MFWF-13 "Mammoth".

In the following few weeks, the blizzard died down and all the snow melted with the anomalous effects of SCP-AWS. When Foundation forces went into the town, they found the MFWF-13 "Mammoth" on the outskirts of the town. Foundation agents powered it back up it and opened it to see all of the civilians and JTF units alive but in poor health due to starvation and limited resources. The D1 from the first mission and three other civilians ended up being the only casualties. After confirming the absence of an anomalous threat, the town of [data expunged] was turned into a temporary medical emergency center to help the injured Civilians, JTF units, as well as other civilians from surrounding counties attacked by SCP-AWS. It was later discovered that SCP-AWS was somehow able to transmit its offspring onto the processor “brains” of the AFA-1′s allowing them to hack and control the AFA-1′s. Weather this was possible through SCP-AWS’s intelligence alone or through mutation has yet to be determined.

Once their health was restored the civilians exposed to SCP-AWS were given Class B amnestics, all except Carl Denby. Carl Denby was asked to join the Foundation due to his contributions under the "Sole Survivor" protocol. At first, he refused not wanting to deal with other anomalous threats like SCP-AWS. However when he learned that the Foundation kept the biggest secrets of the world and he would have access to said secrets in exchange for his employment, he accepted immediately.

The destruction of [data expunged] was blamed on the heavy blizzard and the Foundation was actually the red cross sending aid to the injured families. The water puddles from the snow were found to contain small dying samples of SCP-AWS. They were quickly collected and sent to Site-AL for containment. After the civilians were all amnestied and transported to new towns, the area affected by SCP-AWS was sterilized by Lambda-12 to prevent SCP-AWS from running wild again.

Update: December 11th, 1983, a colony of SCP-AWS was found to have survived the sterilization of Lambda-12 forces. They are laying low but feeding on small towns that still utilize analog tv. Mobile Task Force Poseidon-1: By Analog Sword and Frozen Shield, is tasked with hunting, culling, and containing all free SCP-AWS instances. MTF Poseidon-1 is also responsible for analyzing samples of SCP-AWS to see if any mutations have taken place. Thankfully no new mutations have been reported as of late. However, complete eradication/ containment of free SCP-AWS samples have proven impossible thus, Object class has been changed from Euclid to Keter.

Of course! Hm... I'm thinking that Sam should be next! Been so curious about Iva that it's only fair that we build a little suspense and save Iva for the finale!

Samuel Roberts joined the Foundation in very early nineteen-fourteen (1914), presumably after being picked up in late nineteen-thirteen (1913) - I think I can skip elaborating on anything related to that.

We curiosly follow a similar pattern to Khater here, where, right after joining, Roberts was sent to work at his local archive, first that of Site-11, then that of Site-18 after being transferred there after a few months. It's a bit odd here, in my eyes; it made sense for Khater, since they were only eleven (11) when they were taken in, but Roberts was sixteen (16). Still young, but a few of the others were that age or younger when they started in their actual fields. Adding that to the oddities, alongside the changed name.

Anyway. There is a surprising amount of notes on Roberts directly here, rather than just what he got up to. He's described as 'charming' after 'getting over his initial silence' (which seems to have gone on for at least a few months, during which he hardly spoke. Ten's notes on this are weirdly detailed), more specifically as 'having an aristocrat's charm, in which he appeared lost in the world around him but looked at it with great enthusiasm nonetheless' (definitely Willow's phrasing, Ten isn't this eloquent). He is also mentioned as being talented with both languages and speaking as a whole, the latter of which is picked up a little later again, as well as being organized. Ten also notes that there 'seems to be something wrong with the boy, in the way he looks at people and how he moves; as if he thinks of himself as a different species as a whole' (definitely Ten's phrasing, seems to refer to what would be classified as autism today). This point and the aristocrat's charm one are followed up with a note stating him as underlyingly arrogant, 'though the way he presents himself makes the thought of standing beneath him feel almost natural'. A pretty interesting characterisation compared to how little there is on the other eight (8).

Back to business, Roberts archivist career is only briefly touched on during his personal description under the point of him being organized. He seems to have done an alright enough job there with no notable incidents over his three (3) year stay.

After those three (3) years, in nineteen-seventeen (1917), he apparently personally requested to join a Task Force, a request that was granted though not with great enthusiasm from the other side; he was put on one of MTF-Epsilon-9 "Fire Eaters"'s five (5) person teams, which belonged to a larger, eight-hundred (800) person unit that was assigned to the Foundation-owned ship "Gévaudan" of the dreadnought type. Roberts' unit was, with the exception of him, entirely female, which doesn't make much sense as well - I'm guessing it was either a size issue, since teams are build around that to this day, or plainly a humiliation attempt. If it was the latter, it seems to have backfired.

Despite the previous distain of his job change, the notes turn more positive soon after this, stating him as learning fairly quickly and 'with great curiosity for the field', which seems to refer to the units task as mobile explosives makers. Things take another dip after his team was sent on their first actual mission in early summer of the same year, though, which was to take down a small hideout of an unspecified GoI via multiple bombs; while the mission was a full success, Roberts is noted as 'close to shell-shocked' during the aftermath, as well as suffering a minor breakdown after their return to the base. He made a full recovery, though, and returned to his unit after a week.

Things get far less detailed after this too and there doesn't seem to be much more interesting details worth sharing here, other than that his team received a warning for improper use of Foundation gear later in November, which could line up with the memory Koshek saw of the Hoadley parents' murder.

A concept (or, a piece of the most deserved SCP happy ending)

(based off of the idea in a tale that “Montauk” denotes containment procedures for minors - no, no one gets tortured in this, just bear with me for a second)

INTERNAL MEMO

To: Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 (“Nine-Tailed Fox”)

From: [REDACTED], Site-231

Subject: Mission accomplished; new containment procedure required

Capt. [REDACTED],

I am proud to report that all has gone according to plan and SCP-231 can be considered neutralized. However, your services are still needed; see attached details for new procedure 111-Montauk.

(Please also bring back the strongest alcohol you can find for consumption by Site-231 staff the minute all anomalies are transferred off site and no longer our responsibility; I will arrange to have it paid for with Site budget, and if O5 says anything I’m taking it up with Ethics.)

Please provide Site-231 with regular updates on the status of the mission, for the sanity of the staff monitoring SCP-231-7.

Enjoy your new mission. I think we may have just saved the world - well, she did, really - and that deserves a celebration.

Instructions for Procedure 111-Montauk:

1. The responding MTF will retrieve a cooler and ice bags from Site-231 and then travel in plainclothes, in as inconspicuous a vehicle as possible, to the nearest grocery or convenience store.

2. Upon arrival, the MTF will divide into groups of three to secure and purchase the following items, with cost being of no concern:

a) A quantity of ice cream or frozen yogurt equal to one pint per two human beings or humanoid SCP objects currently at the affected site plus one cup for every member of the responding MTF, in as many flavors as possible. Procurement of chocolate brownie dough ice cream is imperative, no matter the cost.

b) Ten thousand (10000) calories’ worth of candy and other saccharine foods.

c) Whipped cream, chocolate sauce, edible sprinkles (rainbow and chocolate), and other ice cream toppings as per the discretion of the responding MTF.

d) Disposable bowls, tablespoons, and napkins.

e) A reusable grocery bag for transport of item (d). (Caring about the environment is the ethical thing to do!)

f) A children’s coloring book, a box of twenty-four (24) crayons, and a stuffed bear.

3) The responding MTF will load item (a) into the cooler and item (d) into item (e) and return to Site-231 as swiftly as possible.

4) Upon arrival, the MTF will proceed to the hallway outside the affected SCP’s containment chamber and provide the Site Director with item (b) and one of the disposable bowls comprising item (d). The Site Director will fill a bowl with candy and provide it to the affected non-humanoid SCP. (In this case, that is the SCP provisionally designated SCP-231-G.)

5) The MTF will then arrange the remainder of the requisitioned goods from step 2 in a manner as seems logical to the MTF commander upon a table to be set up by D-Class personnel.

6) All Foundation personnel, D-Class personnel, and humanoid SCPs at the site will queue in front of the table in a line headed by any humanoid SCPs present, and will serve themselves from the retrieved items as they wish (with the exception that minor humanoid SCPs may have no more than one bowl). All Foundation personnel and D-Class personnel are to leave the room after serving. Foundation and D-Class personnel have complete freedom from Special Containment Procedures after this point, with the exception that all containment chamber observation cameras must be manned at all times as previously. Affected SCP objects are to be contained under standard humanoid or animal containment protocols, respectively. At this point, the MTF may return to their base, but only after everyone has partaken of as much ice cream as they wish. Item (f) and SCP-231-G are to be left in SCP-231-7′s containment chamber.

7) At the conclusion of the “big ice cream party”, any remaining supplies will be stored in the Site cafeteria for further consumption by personnel. SCP-231-7 may have another bowl of ice cream after lunch tomorrow.

8) Actually, you know what? SCP-231-7 can have whatever she asks for, forever. It’s the least we can do, and she’s earned it. (If anyone takes issue with my sending an entire Mobile Task Force to buy ice cream with Foundation money, I would be happy to show you the receipts for our big ice cream party compared with an itemized budget for SCP-231′s containment to date, and go into said budget in detail.)

9) The Site Director, who has been awake for more than twenty-four (24) hours and has suffered insomnia since assignment to SCP-231, will go to bed, cry, and get some well-deserved fucking sleep.

P.S. If this “procedure” ever actually gets used again, that will be my greatest service to the Foundation, and someone please let me know about it. Also, let it be noted that I want to see video footage of our tickle wrestling blob monster defeating the Scarlet King with the power of love. It’s only fair.
