fr tho I am just so in awe of Sausage as a storyteller. I wasn’t around when he was streaming a few years back so this has been my first intro to him as a streamer. I knew they’d be good bc it’s Sausage and I’ve loved him on others’ streams. But maaaaaaan, the Empires streams have been what I expected and yet so so so much more oml.
The deftness with which he performs lore and dimension jumping on steam is amazing to me. He’s constantly in character anyway so you’re just in his world and willing to be immersed in it, even tho there’s the usual stream things going on. You end up not knowing how much is planned and what might be improv but you don’t even care bc what’s happening on screen is just so gripping you can’t look away.
He inspires me so much for my own minecraft worlds and how to tell stories in them and make them come alive. Even if I’m not making videos about them, having that story brings so many things to life. I am simply in love with this man and his stories and want to build worlds like that one day.

ugh had to get up bc I'm too awake to fall back asleep and started getting hunger cramps
#FINE ILL EAT CEREAL#also made myself rly sad bc i was thinking abt phone calls and it made me think abt how i DONT miss my ex thats long dead and buried#but I DO miss there being someone who was always happy to hear from me or hear my voice any time of day to say anything at all#and always being happy to hear from them in the same way and just. that simple casual kind of love and how easy it was every time#not even talking just how easy it was to be around them and in the same space even if we werent directly interacting#and i love my friends but its not really the same as that i always feel like the longer i talk the more im keeping them from other things#and theyre pulling away and ik my roommate has said before she doesnt rly get anything out of just. being around ppl without-#direct interaction which is ok like thats just how it works for her but also it means whenever im talking to her theres a little desperate#part of me thats like u have to keep talking bc otherwise shes going to get bored and leave except she'll do that either way bc ill run-#out of anything interesting to say.. but again its not the same anyway tho bc we're just friends theres no obligation or anything#not that it was obligation with my ex gah. but it was just so mutual and EASY i dont knowww#i think its on my mind as well bc my roommate was talking abt friends of hers she can just. Always dip into conversation with#and that made me think of my ex but i didnt wanna say bc that sounds dumb and as though im hung up on them (which im genuinely not)#and ik she feels like that abt one of our mutual friends bc theyre much closer than we are and its cute how much she talks abt him and#how obvious her love for him is and i dont begrudge them that at all but i just miss having that myself with someone#but its been so long and itll probably be a long time yet before i ever have smth like that again. if ever man#and it doesnt even matter anyway bc i guess it wasnt ever actually mutual and my ex denied a lot of it afterwards and ik part of that they#were just saying to hurt me (which worked) but it probably was partly true too. maaaan.#i just miss having a favourite person and i miss being someones favourite person even if that wasnt real in the end and i wasnt#i miss at least THINKING i was someones favourite person like back when doubt rarely occurred to me bc i cared so much abt them#like it would hardly cross my mind they didnt. or if it did it was still ok bc it was easily reassured#ahhhh im going to drive myself crazy girl i need to Stop. it doesnt matter its not within my reach anymore but. wails pitifully#sorry for being so pathetic and needy and starved on main in my defence im sick. im gonna lie down for another half hour#and then i guess get ready for work. at least if im working i wont be thinking abt this shit anymore it doesn't matter#ougrhrhhhhgougrh.#.diaries

Could I request Ichigo with a short and petite girlfriend that send a grown man flying with a punch?
*so rukia?? 😂*
Ichigo Kurosaki + superpower punch GF
Tumblr media
“Do you think we should get popcorn for everyone?”
“Hmmm….Chad would probably like some.” Ichigo replied after a moment of thought. “Ishida doesn’t it food from ‘a stand’. Something about sanitation requirements? Orihime is gonna need her own because she likes to put furikake and spicy cheese sauce on hers.”
“Where would she get furikake at a movie theater?”
“She brings it in her purse.”
The group was meeting up that afternoon to see a movie and enjoy the AC on this hot summer day. What they were seeing didn’t really matter, just the time spent together.
Coming from different directions, Ichigo and [Y/N] planned to arrive first and claim seats. The theater closer to their neighborhood than anyone else. [Y/N] said that she would just go ahead and buy the tickets and everyone could pay her back, since she got paid this week and it was easiest. But Ichigo knew that she was just doing it to be nice. Not expecting to get paid back if her friends didn’t have it. He loved the generous aspect of her.
“Hey. You kids.” The pair stop, despite their best instincts, and turn around to see some bum wander out of a side street. “Got any change?”
“We don’t. Sorry.” Ichigo replied. Taking [Y/N]’s hand and already starting to walk on.
“Come on maaaan. Help me out. I haven’t eaten in dayssss.”
“Maybe we should help him?” [Y/N] whispered to him, but Ichigo shook his head no. He got a bad vibe and people like this would take off your hand when you offer them a hand out.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!” As bad vibes indicated, the man got angry at being ignored and lunged out to grab [Y/N]’s purse.
“Hey!” Ichigo shouted, prepared to do something. Before he could, however, [Y/N] had his wrist in a death grip and preforming a single handed arm throw back into the alley and into a wall.
“Don’t grab things that don’t belong to you.” [Y/N] scolded the dizzy & disoriented man, who may have had a concussion now. “I need to wash my hands now.”
“I could have taken care of that guy for you.” Ichigo replied as they continued their trip to the theater. As if nothing happened.
“I know. But I may not be able to beat up Hollows, but I can certainly handle some dumb guy. Don’t you remember how we met?”
Ichigo smiled softly back at [Y/N]’s big grin. How could he forget. He fallen head over heels for her when she threw him head over heels at the dojo when they were just kids.
“Come on. Let’s get to the movie before we miss the trailers.”
They arrive and get tickets before [Y/N] went to the bathroom to wash her hands. Ichigo went ahead and paid for everyone’s snacks. Popcorn for Chad and Orihime, one for them to share, and pack of mango jellies for Ishida. He figured if they were prepacked they should be fine, and if he still complained then he wouldn’t get anything and he could have jellies. Win-win.

Please go ahead and be an atla live action hater
Maaaan I've only watched 20 minutes but the decisions that are being made 😭😭😭 It starts off 100 years ago and shows the content from The Storm episode which...isn't a large part of that to show a parallel between Zuko and Aang? How will this affect Zuko's character later on??? The Storm is not just one of the best episodes in season one but in the whole series, who asked for this change? What sucks is it's also just a worse version where it focuses more on firebenders killing airbenders rather than Aang's character moments aljdfsl. It also cuts it down to where Aang finds out from Gyatso that he's the Avatar, and then dips just a few hours later? The isolation he feels from him friends and the mounting pressure over time from the other airbending masters is why he leaves, why would he leave when nothing has changed for him yet!! They also made the change where every airbending master from the other temples is also there for the "Great Comet festival" (ok..whatever lol) and like, I understand the firebenders have an advantage with the comet, but you have EVERY master airbender there and they could do nothing against them?
I really wanted to come in as neutral but these writing decisions are already highly suspect, it feels like they wanted to show off "cool and gritty" action scenes (which, it's a genocide, so gross) without the weight these moments deserve while also cutting out the character moments that everyone loves from the original series in order to make it an exposition dumping ground as well.
Edit: Apparently I misinterpreted/missed the part where it's not Aang fully leaving, he just wanted to go out for a few hours and then come back. Unfortunately this is still a stupid change imo so it helps nothing.

You know what I wish we had? More scenes of Halbrand/Sauron seeing Galadriel being soft and having Feelings about it. Like, in either Numenor or the Southlands maybe the kids are the ones to warm up to her first. They might start out cautious, but she wins them over by being the coolest and prettiest person they’ve ever met and soon they’re following her around like a gaggle of ducklings. Maybe there’s even a Tangled moment where she lets them play w/ her hair. She loves it and is having the time of her life coddling all of them, and Halbrand/Sauron is in the background pretending not to watch her with them. Meanwhile internally he’s got alarms blaring going “SHIT FUCK GOTTA ADD ONE TO THE SHOPPING CART I GUESS”
Awwww, I hear what you're saying, but look! We got something similar! Behold! Remember this scene? Gifs don't give you time to catch his facial expressions, so here we go:
Tumblr media
Look at Sauron, he's so fucking happy about this shit! Galadriel is about whip ALL THESE BOYS ASSES, and he can't wait to see it!
Tumblr media
Look at this stupid fucking smile on his face. LOOK AT IT.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's laughing, oh my God, I love it. Look at his stupid fucking laugh.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I had to include Galadriel's smile because, oh my God, she's so pretty in this scene.
Tumblr media
"Yeah, you boys don't know what you're in for."
Tumblr media
"My bby grl about to whip all y'all asses, yeah."
Tumblr media
Sauron literally can't take his eyes off of her:
Tumblr media
THERE GOES THAT STUPID FUCKING SMILE AGAIN. LOOK AT HIM IN THE LEFT CORNER, JUST SMILING LIKE A DAMN IDIOT IN LOVE.
Tumblr media
"Ooh, I like that hair twirl. I hope she does it again."
Tumblr media
"Get him, Galadriel. GET HIM."
Tumblr media
He is so entranced by her, he literally watches her the entire time. The entire time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They even decided we needed a close up of his reaction. That barely there smile. Maaaan.
Tumblr media
Personally, this is moment when I think he realized he was in love with her. Look at his damn face. It screams, "Oh shit. What is this I'm feeling? Oh shit."
Tumblr media
" . . . Shit, I got distracted by feelings."
Tumblr media
" . . . Damn, she's pretty. I better crane my neck to get a better look."
Tumblr media
THAT STUPID FUCKING SMILE AGAIN.
Tumblr media
ALL THE STUPID FUCKING SMILES.
Tumblr media
STUPID
Tumblr media
FUCKING
Tumblr media
SMILES
Tumblr media
STILL SMILING, SAURON, I SEE. I will never believe he is not in love with her. I will never believe it.
Tumblr media
" . . . That's it, get 'em, bby grl."
Tumblr media
He had to crane his neck again right here to make sure he didn't miss a beat. Mmm hmm. Mmm hmm.
Tumblr media
STUPID FUCKING SMILE. SO STUPID.
Tumblr media
“SHIT . . . FUCK . . . GOTTA ADD ONE TO THE SHOPPING CART I GUESS.”
Tumblr media
@morepowerfulwithoutaking, I hope that lifted your spirits! Never forget Stupid-Fucking-Smile!Sauron ever again for as long as you live~!

Jealousy pt.1- Miyuki x gn!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: February 14th, 2022
Description: I really loved your hcs for Miyuki and Chris! Could I request an angsty thing (hc or scenario, whichever you’re comfortable with) about Miyuki getting jealous for whatever reason and distancing himself from his s/o? Maybe a bit of fluff at the end so it doesn’t hurt too much 🥲🥲🥲
Notes: Recovered in conjunction with research @curlyzensei, we thank them for their contribution. The second entry is available here.

Seidou was a little far from home for Miyuki, but distance meant nothing to him if it meant he could play baseball. Besides, it wasn’t like there was any reason for him to stay nearby. He didn’t have friends. That was what he’d told himself when Rei approached him while she was scouting Chris.
They had a strong reputation and it was a chance to play on the same team as Chris, to go head to head for the catcher position, it sounded perfect. It was an all around challenge against people who loved the sport just as much as him.
“You're late,” Y/N huffed, swinging their legs from the porch of Miyuki’s house.
Miyuki had one friend, he realized as he stood at the bottom of the stairs, and he was going to leave them.
“Sorry, I was busy being scouted by Seidou,” he smirked.
“Seidou? The school in Kokubunji?”
Miyuki opened the door and let the two of them in.
“Yup.”
“Maaaan,” Y/N whined, “that’s so far!”
“It really isn’t, you’re just a baby,” he shrugged, pulling things out to make dinner. “What does it matter how far it is anyways?”
“It means I can’t see you all the time! Who’s gonna stop you from getting into a fight? Or apologize when you talk back to upperclassmen? If you go to Seidou you have to promise you won’t keep getting into fights!” They scowled, leaning over the counter.
“Hey! I don’t always get into fights… And who said I was going to Seidou anyways?”
It was a rhetorical question, they both knew he was going.
“I mean if you don’t take the offer I’ll never speak to you again.”
“Aww, you really care about me don’t you?”
“Shut up,” they sighed.
---
“It’s cold, hmph,” Y/N ducked their head further into their scarf. “Why couldn’t he pick a warmer day to come back.”
“Because he’s insufferable and any other day would be too nice,” Mei shrugged, handing them a warm drink.
“Thanks, and it’s not nice to call people insufferable.”
“Wa?! But you call me insufferable all the time!”
“No, I say you’re being insufferable, there’s a difference.”
“Y/N how could you?” Came an over dramatic gasp from the other side of the platform.
The two looked up to find Miyuki posing in mock offense as he watched Mei and Y/N bicker.
Y/N giggled, waving at him, and yelled, “Welcome back Kazu-chan!”
“You’ve replaced me?” He called as he approached them, “And with Mei no less.”
“Ha, you should have joined us at Inashiro. See what you’re missing,” Mei slung his arm around Y/N’s shoulder, “your two favorite people.”
“Mh, calling you one of my favorite people is like saying Sawamura’s not an idiot.”
“Wa-hey! Y/N-chan telling him to stop bullying me!”
“Sawamura… Sawamura… Ah! Seidou’s southpaw!”
The three began to leave the station, heading towards a small restaurant for lunch.
“Aw, you’ve been watching my games,” Miyuki cooed, knocking into Y/N.
“No, not really.” They shrugged. “I just heard about him from the team, apparently he nearly spilled all your secrets to Mei."
Miyuki's smirk dropped slightly, "You haven't been watching my games? But you've never missed one of my games!" He whined.
"They've been watching my games because I'm their favorite!" Mei cheered, pulling them closer and leaning his head on there's.
As they approached the restaurant and Y/N filled him in on their academic news, Miyuki found himself growing increasingly annoyed as Mei filled in the blanks to stories he'd yet to hear.
“Kazuya?” Y/N called, waving their hand in front of his face once they sat down. “Kazuya are you alright?”
“Mh? Oh, ya… I was just thinking about how busy you sound, makes sense why you haven’t come to visit me.”
Y/N frowned.
Miyuki looked to the empty space beside them so he didn’t have to see, and noticed Mei was gone.
“Where’d Mei go?”
“The bathroom, but don’t change the subject. Is something wrong? It’s not like I’ve been avoiding you or anything, you just don’t get out of practice until late. Nothings stopping you from calling me.”
They watched him intently as he continued to avoid eye contact.
“It’s nothing, you're right…”
---
“Your girlfriend break up with you or something?” Kuramochi asked, leaning against the wall next to Miyuki. Miyuki shot him a quick glare and swung his bat a little harder than necessary. “Boyfriend? Partner? Significant other whose contact you make googly eyes at- ya, I see that. We all see that,” Kuramochi said, not moving even when Miyuki leveled him with a glare and dropped his bat.
“What makes you think something bad happened?” Miyuki scowled, ignoring the last half of Kuramochi’s comment.
“Because when you came back from last winter break you were scarily happy and… nice,” Kuramochi shuddered. “And now you’re all sulky and it’s in the team's best interest that you get out of this as soon as possible. We don’t want a repeat of the fall.”
Kuramochi pushed off the wall and turned to leave when Miyuki called out to him.
“Hypothetically-”
“If you want my help cut the crap you damn four eyes.”
“Fine,” Miyuki slumped against the wall and Kuramochi joined him. “I have this… friend, they go to Inashiro and I haven’t been able to keep in touch with them because I’ve been busy with practice and school.”
“So you’re being a shitty friend and you're sulking because they aren’t putting up with it?”
“I’m not being a shitty friend! Would you let me finish?”
“Alright, alright.”
“Anyways, they were telling me about what they’ve been doing and- for our whole lives I’ve always known everything that happened to them- and for the first time Mei, Narumiya Mei, was filling in bits and pieces for them.”
“So you’ve been a shitty friend, your friend went and made a new friend in the guy you hate most, and now you're jealous.”
“...”
“I don’t know what you want me to say man, send them an email? Become pen pals? Kill Mei so they don’t have any more friends?”
“Well,” Miyuki looked considerate of the last point.
“No. Look, I know I give you a lot of shit… but if your friend’s been trying to stay in touch and you haven’t, you’re the only one at fault here.” Kuramochi sighed as he stood back up. “Well, that’s all I got. But hey, if things don’t work out between you two would you give me their number?” He snickered.
“Kuramochi i swear to god-”
“Goodnight Miyuki!”
With a deep sigh, Miyuki dropped his head into his arms.
Kuramochi had a point. The only person to blame for how out of touch they were was him.
Taking a deep breath, he froze as his phone began to buzz. Y/N’s contact popping up on the screen.
Not the person he wanted to talk to right now.
“Maybe later,” he sighed, letting out the breath he was holding and declining the call.

Chishiya X Reader | Too Good At Goodbyes
WARNING: Spoilers, curse words & mention of weapons, death!
Author's Note: Thank you so much for your support and reblogs, as always! I see and appreciate each one of you! This is a PART OF A SERIES so people who are just reading this one post for the first time might not understand the context please read the parts linked below.
Part 1 | ... | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 (Coming Soon!)
Tumblr media
"You're not that bad of a person you know. I don't know what picture you've painted of yourself in your head but I'll blank the canvas and paint a beautiful one. The true one." you said as you hugged him.
You were not aware of this but he had tears in his eyes. Even he was surprised to feel this emotion again. To be heard and understood.
----------------------------Time Skip-----------------------
You found yourself running for your life. King of Spade found you. This time you were alone in a general store with only one exit where he stood waiting for you.
How did you end up alone? What happened to Chishiya? HOW DID YOU END UP BEING THE TARGET OF THE FUCKING KING OF SPADES?
Well, let me enlighten you.
After hiding from the King you and chishiya decided that it was better to clear as many games as possible. Because of course, this is a collective game so all the survivors have to work together on this.
Silly of you to think that they were all going to think the same way and act like a team.
You knew that even if you were smart, your specialty lies in the physical games so you went in the Jack of spade game and Chishiya went to Jack Of Diamonds. You two stayed away from heart games and even if you were forced to enter, you agreed that you two won't play it together.
You two decided that you'll meet at the Shibuya Crossing once you two were done.
His game took unexpectedly long (because then he went to Kind Of Diamonds on his way back) so you decided to get something to eat where you met another very anxious player and you didn't like anxious people in borderlands because they were not reliable. So you kept your guard up. What's the worst that can happen?
You saw King of Spades Blimp and he was crossing from right in front of your store. He hasn't noticed you both yet. You looked over to the guy he was about to through a fit and was shaking like crazy. But you sneaked up to him as quietly as you can and covered his mouth and took control of his limbs. You were visible to the King's range of view the only thing between you two was a thin glass window.
Luckily he still hasn't noticed the both of you. So you slowly started pulling the guy back as he was trying hard to get out of your grip and was making too much movement. But to your relief King almost passed from your window, JUST ALMOST.
When this dumbass took out a very tiny useless gun and tried shooting the king. One missed shot and king started shooting in your direction. You fell back behind the shelf but the guy couldn't make it and now it was just king and you in this TINY ROOM.
You knew Chishiya was going to come soon too. You cannot just run away you have to warn him.
You started shifting towards the door as the king entered more into the room. You knew you were not going to get out of here without being injured or killed if you just bolted, you HAD to make a distraction.
Chishiya's bomb came into your mind. You were planning what should you do when the King Of Dimond Blimp blew up, it was Chishiya. King looked at it and you bolted but not before throwing Chishiya's bomb in King's feet. So before he can turn and shoot you the bomb created another distraction.
Maaaan you've never run faster than this in your entire life. You knew that you cannot run faster than the bullets so you took to a low alley and started moving in the Crossing's direction so that you can warn Chishiya once he come there.
But on the way, you met up with Arisu and Usagi. You were so happy to see both of them! Finally some familiar faces. You explained the situation and they came with you.
Usagi was a bit hurt and King of spades' blimp was nowhere to be seen so you two went into a general store to get the supplies and that is when you heard a gunshot.
You two came rushing out and on your way as you heard a couple of more rounds being shot. You were sure that it wasn't King because the sounds of all of them were different.
As you entered the crossing your eyes landed on Chishiya who was hiding behind a car. When you looked closely & he looked hurt and then you saw blood. Everything blurred out and all you managed to say silently was, "Chishiya" as you ran towards him.
Then you spotted Niragi who was intently looking at you as he pulled up his gun and said, "Oh yeah, I almost forgot about you two." and started shooting in your direction.
You made it behind the car in time but Usagi couldn't because of her injury and that is when he shot his last bullet at her.
It was all in a blur and slow motion. You were asking her to come to you but she couldn't. Then you saw Chishiya run over to her. You heard two shots.
As your eyes land on Chishiya, his white jacket had two huge blood stains. He saved her. You ran with all your will and stopped him from dropping directly on the floor as you called out his name loudly.
"Why would you do that?" Usagi said as she came along with Arisu. "I wanted to do something that was a bit out of Character," he said his eye glued on you.
More than him being hurt he was worried about you. He was trying to cheer you up. He knew that this was a bit selfish of him because he promised you that you two will get out of here. Now he did this but it was important for him. His eyes were constantly glued on yours and as you start to tear up he put a hand on yours as he said...
"I know it is thanks to people I know here. To Kyuzuryu, Arisu, and You." he looked back at you. Arisu cut in, "Hey, before what were you gonna say?" Chishiya looked at Arisu and let out a weak chuckle that sounded more like a grunt. His heavy breathing and weak voice were breaking you down slowly. You didn't know how to stop this. For the first time, you felt helpless here.
Then he looked back at you not leaving a chance to soak your face in his memories, "Oh yeah." His eyes went back to Arisu and Usagi, "Honest people always seemed stupid to me. I've always loved messing with people who try too hard at life." Then he looked back at you and continued, "I hated selflessness. It's probably because I'm jealous. They all had something I didn't. It was like they could always see what a pathetic and small-minded person I really was." He squeezed your hand, "I was always scared."
Now tears were running like a river you didn't want to stop them. You could hear Arisu and Niragi talking in the background when you pressed your forehead against Chishiya's, "I hope you're not considering this lame speech as your goodbye." as you both chuckle. You could feel Usagi's eyes on you two with curiosity but you couldn't care less.
"Don't bail on me," you said softly as you lift your forehead away from him. He was too weak to answer and before he can gather the courage, the King Of Spades' Blimp came around. You looked back at Chishiya who said, "Don't even think about it."
"No, I'm staying. I won't leave you." You could hear shooting in the background and people started pouring from the streets. Chishiya took his hand out of his hold and ask you to go. "No! Shut up I'm not leaving!" You said now shouting at him for the fact that he is even suggesting this. "Let's hide them under the cars," Arisu said.
"Are you nuts? This is not going to work. I'm not leaving him here." you said clearly intimidating Arisu. You never raised your voice ever since they knew you.
"Go. I promise I'll be okay. We'll meet again. You have a better chance at saving me if you kill the king" you hated that he was right. So you helped Arisu in shifting them under the cars but not before giving Chishiya a lingering kiss.
You started running into an alley and reunited with Kuina and Ann. As you were running King got close, PRETTY CLOSE, and got a hand of Ann. All of you saved her with team efforts when a guy ran into the king with a car.
Part 1 | ... | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 (Coming Soon!)

Thinking randomly abt this because I just reblogged a very nice gifset, but I truly love violet evergarden the character, so much. I would fucking die for her that’s my daughter but goddamn does the finale movie make me seethe lol
This is probably so out of step/a controversh take but FUCK being with the major, like I understand her obsession with him and how he was the first person to ever treat her like a human being and I love her quest to find out what love is which is spurred by what he said to her. Fine. But literally he said go and live violet. Live and be free violet!! Sorry just literally she slowly learns how to be a person and how to feel emotions and how to love people and she has a job that fulfils her and friends and family who fuckin love her and her giving that up to be with him in the end is the literal opposite of everything I wanted for her!!! I don’t hate him as a character or discount what he meant to her, but the point SHOULD have been that she grew past her singular obsession with him and learned to LIVE. He was actually right when he was like, you shouldn’t stay here and be with me, lol.
Like idk why I’m getting mad all over again about it, but I love the show and Violet so much, her journey of learning what human emotions are and healing from her trauma and finding people who love her despite all her guilt and ptsd is so moving and emotional and wonderful and then I just hate how it ends lol. Actual NOTP in terms of them ending up together. She was a feral child that he took in and showed kindness to when no-one ever had before and that’s how their relationship should have stayed. Violet live your life stay with your new family who care about you. Maaaan. I love violet so much I could cry abt how much I love this character but there’s no escaping anime bullshit sometimes lol. I don’t care if I’m missing the point of what the show’s meant to be about somehow (a tragic romance???) because my take is simply better and correct sorry

maaaan kaius loves jaheira a lot actually. like she reminds him so much of his own mother. so every time he looks at her or does something that makes him think of his childhood he gets a pang of sadness. he's an adult and hasn't lived with his parents for over 30 years but he misses them so much. or at least misses keeping in touch. he doesnt know if theyre alive or dead. and jaheira is his reminder of this unknown. yet. he cant help but smile when she scolds someone like his ma used to...
jaheira catches him looking at her all doe eyed one time and he explains to her about his loving yet complicated relationship with his parents. ultimately it turns light hearted as he makes an old joke with jaheira and she rolls her eyes and reminds him all over again. i feel like she is the only connection he has to his past. even tho she ultimately has nothing to do with it

AO3 link The problem with random selection is the same as with gambling: sooner or later, you’ll end up with a losing result.
On this night, when the dice landed, Danny Fenton’s phone vibrated. He was on his way home from a dinner out with his friends, walking down a sidewalk lit by streetlamps. When he pulled the phone out of his pocket, the streetlamp just behind him flickered. He ignored it as he checked the text message preview on his lock screen.
We’ve been trying to reach you about your life’s extended warr
“Oh, ha ha.” Danny rolled his eyes and unlocked his phone to delete the text. When he opened it, however, the body of the message was completely different.

Danny had barely glanced at the text before his thumb was moving to delete it. Then his eye caught a phrase in it and he paused to actually read the strange message. "Beta?" he murmured. As the word exited his mouth, he exhaled a cold mist and something happened in the world around him. Startled, he looked up to see his parents’ Ghost Assault Vehicle just as it swerved up on the sidewalk toward him. He had no chance to wonder how he’d missed hearing or seeing it before it impacted his fully-corporeal, half-human form.
In the sliver of time between the initial impact and when he’d gone under the treads, his grip spasmed over his phone. His thumb slid over the link on the open text message and pressed down before the phone was sent flying out of his grip.
It was installing software even before it hit the ground. Seconds after, it vibrated once more, unnoticed by anyone.
Confirmation Message:

The screen flickered, then went dark. A progress bar appeared. When it had filled, the screen went dark once more before flashing as a bright Welcome screen appeared.

Danny opened his eyes with a sharp exhale of frost, his hands frantically patting himself down from head to torso.
Miraculously, he found no injuries. The overwhelming pain he remembered had vanished, leaving only its memory. “I’m alive!?” he said in disbelief. “Uh, wait—”
“No, you’re not!” several voices called simultaneously from around him. Yeah, he hadn’t been alive to start with. Then he startled. Who’d even said that?
Danny’s focus shifted from his self-evaluation to his surroundings. He’d appeared in a room that looked a lot like a DMV. Danny was seated in a folding chair in the middle of a row of other chairs. In front of and behind him were rows upon rows of even more cheap-looking, uncomfortable plastic folding chairs.
Most of the chairs were filled with seated people, and sporadically, more people would appear in or vanish from them. In the seat directly in front of him, a girl in purple and black popped into existence, shaking her head confusedly. Her outfit kind of reminded him of Clockwork's, from what he could see of it.
“I’m alive?”
“No, you’re not,” came another chorus.
“Oh maaaan,” she moaned. “I did not want to die today.”
“Yeah, join the club,” snarked someone nearby.
Uh. Were they all DEAD dead? Was that real? Did he just get mowed down like Undergrowth beneath a lawnmower? He—he remembered seeing the vague outline of his parents through the windshield of the GAV.
If he’d looked… what would their expressions have looked like? Was that an accident, or—
DING!
“Now taking RB76745.” The voice sounded like it came from a speaker system. Danny looked up to see a counter beyond the sea of seats, segmented into several sections in large circle. Behind each walled section was a terminal manned by bored-looking ghosts of a variety of species.
Above the counter, mounted on the roof of the building he’d appeared in, was a series of display monitors matched to each section. On the monitors he saw a list of numbers preceded by two letters, and the letter combination differed between every counter. Danny couldn’t see the RB counter; it must be on a side of the ring he couldn’t see from this angle.
Someone’s head intruded into his field of view. A man with gelled-back blonde hair had invaded his personal space, and Danny jerked backward in his seat. The guy was looking down at something in Danny’s hand.
“EM62131, huh?” he remarked. “You’ve got a wait ahead of you.”
Once the man had backed off to his own seat again, Danny took a look himself. In his hand was a slip of paper; a ticket with EM62131 printed on it. Curious, he glanced back up at the monitors and found the section with EM prefixes. The top number on the list was 200 below his.
“Hey, so… where are we?” Danny asked the guy. Danny wasn’t sure if he’d even have any information, but it was worth trying, at least. “What’s the wait for?”
“They’ve been doing overhead announcements every once in a while,” his neighbor replied. “We’re dead. You probably remember that bit. Apparently, this is some place called the Transmigration Placement Center.” He nodded toward the counter. “We’re all just waiting to see where they send us.”
Danny had never heard of this. This must be a part of the zone he’d never explored before. What was transmigration, anyway? Public transportation of some kind? But you didn’t get a choice about where to go?
That didn’t sound like something he was interested in.
He’d just head out and see if he could get his bearings outside the center.
Danny tried to stand up. Something held him in place. Danny tried harder. The pressure increased; to the point where he could no longer move his limbs.
Seeing him strain, the guy next to him winced. “Ah. Yeah, none of us have been able to leave our seats, except for when they call our numbers,” he said with sympathy. “If you stop trying to escape, it should ease off.”
Danny did, then thought for a moment. If he shifted to his human form, he should be able to phase right through the building. Whatever they had keeping him in the chair probably didn’t extend below it. He focused on returning back to life.
Nothing happened. No ring of light; no transformation. Confused, Danny looked down at himself once more and did a double-take.
He wasn’t in his Phantom form. He wasn’t wearing his hazmat suit, just the street clothes he’d been wearing that night. When he pulled a lock of his hair down to eye-level, it was black, not white.
He must really have died. Again.
He wondered why the colors hadn’t inverted this time. Come to think of it, everyone sitting down in the waiting area looked pretty mundane, other than some of the outfits. Not a single person had skin tones he wouldn’t expect from a living person; no green or blue anywhere in sight. They were very… human.
The people behind the counter were more exotic, like what he’d come to expect from the zone.
Anyway, Phantom form or not, Danny still was a ghost. Maybe even a full one now? He lifted up his hand and shifted it invisible. It was just as easy as it always was in ghost form. This must be his new normal, unless he had two ghost forms or something. But he could check that later. For now, he tried to make himself intangible.
He started to slide through the chair easily enough, but then the pressure returned, worse than before. It was almost crushing. He quickly picked himself back up and stopped using his powers.
“Holy shit, kid, what was that?” His neighbor looked impressed, and he’d drawn a few stares from other people as well.
“Uh. Well, we’re dead. And dead people are ghosts. Ghosts can be invisible and go through stuff, right?” Did he still need to hide why he knew this? He probably shouldn’t keep babbling. Danny stopped talking while he was ahead.
His neighbor’s eyebrows lifted high. “Can we all do that?” He lifted his own arm, but when he visibly tried to focus, his entire form started flickering wildly, in and out of visibility.
The guy directly behind him irritably grunted. “Cut it out, Flickers.”
His neighbor obliged with good humor.
He hadn’t managed to get any one area to stay invisible for more than a second, and he hadn’t gone entirely invisible even once. Still, he seemed pleased with his first try. “Thanks!” he enthused. “Hey, let me pay you back. My ticket’s only two people from the front. Why don’t we swap?” He held out his ticket to Danny with a broad smile.
Danny supposed getting to the front sooner would get him answers sooner. He reached for the ticket.
“Have you checked the back of your ticket yet?”
Danny paused. The girl in front of him, the one who’d appeared just after he had, was turned around in her seat. The white lenses of her dark mask looked at Danny from beneath a purple hood. Danny’s neighbor looked annoyed at the interruption.
“No?” Danny responded, taken aback. “Why, what’s there?” Danny flipped his ticket around.
Listed on the back side was a key explaining the meaning of the letters at the front of each person’s ticket number. Apparently, they were abbreviations for various words and phrases.
“They’re tropes.” The girl explained. “Whatever’s going on with this, uh, afterlife, the labeling system they use for it uses transmigration tropes. Which makes sense, if it’s the Transmigration Something Center.”
“Tropes, like themes? What’s transmigration?”
“Sure, like themes, close enough. Transmigration is,” she paused, seeming to struggle for an explanation, “you know, like ‘isekai’ or ‘portal fantasy’.”
Danny looked at her blankly.
She slumped a bit, then straightened, holding up her ticket. “Okay, so mine starts with SH, right? The key says that’s short for Summoned Hero or Heroine. It’s common in stories where someone powerful and influential wants a person capable of becoming strong enough to destroy some great evil.” She paused. “Or great enemy, anyway. Not like I’m an expert.” She frowned at her ticket for a moment, then shook her head and refocused.
“What’s yours?”
He showed her his ticket.
“Okay, EM. Looks like that one is… En Media Res.”
“Oh, I know that one,” Danny realized. One of Lancer’s after school sessions he’d been guilted into paying attention to had gone over it. “That’s when a book starts in the middle of something exciting happening, right?”
“Or a movie or whatever, yeah,” she confirmed. “If that’s what’s going to happen to you when you get shipped off to wherever, that… actually sounds pretty rough.” Her fingers drummed against the top of her chair for a moment as she considered him. Then she shifted her gaze to his neighbor.
“Hey, didn’t you check his ticket earlier?” Her voice was skeptical. “You would have known that, right?”
The guy next to Danny scratched the back of his neck with his empty hand.
“Okay,” he said. “You caught me. I was concerned for you, kid. You look like a stiff breeze could knock you over.”
“Hey!” Okay, that was true. But to be fair, Vortex would also knock this guy over.
“I’m just saying! Anyway, I don’t feel right about leaving you to something like that, so here.” He pushed his ticket at Danny, reaching for the one in Danny’s hand.
Danny noticed, with dawning suspicion, that the guy’s thumb was covering the letters of his ticket. Danny couldn’t quite keep the edge out of his voice when he asked, “What exactly were your letters, Flickers?”
The guy clicked his tongue before dropping his ticket and diving for Danny’s. He leaned over as far as he could without quite leaving his seat. Danny hurriedly moved his hand out of the way. Flickers pulled Danny back toward him with one arm around his neck and grabbed for his ticket with an arm longer than Danny’s own.
DING!
“Now taking PZ52728.”
Just before grasping fingers could close around the slip of paper, the man vanished. Danny whipped his gaze upward to check for the PZ monitor. It was just at the edge of the visible sections. His former neighbor was at the counter, straining against what looked like nothing. He struggled the entire time the employee behind the counter spoke to him, right up until he was swallowed by a swirling mist rising up from his feet. The same mist had swallowed everyone who’d gone up to the counter so far.
“Attention Transmigration Placement Center candidates,” a voice spoke over a PA system. “Please keep hold of the ticket you’ve been provided, as supplies are limited and no replacements are available. This is your notification that transmigrating without a ticket will not improve your placement. It will, however, prevent you from binding with a system on arrival and accessing transmigrator privileges. Thank you for your patience; an agent will assist you soon. Happy travels!”
“Oh boy,” the girl in front of him said. She looked up from the key on her ticket. There was a pause, for a moment, like she was going to say something, but in the end, she turned back around in her seat and slumped into it, head lolling back to look up idly.
Danny frowned and looked at his key.
PZ. Patient Zero.
He wondered what that meant. It felt like he’d heard it before.
Danny was used to being attacked. It happened with depressing regularity. But still.
“Thanks, Purple,” he said. “You really helped me out there.”
The girl bunched the fabric of her cape in one hand and lifted it above the chair. She waved it in the air at him, not moving otherwise.
“It’s eggplant, not purple.”
“Huh,” he considered the outfit. “Color me surprised.”
The girl snorted, dropping the edge of her cape to once again drape down the side of her chair.
“Thanks, Eggplant,” he said. She shot a languid two-fingered salute toward the plain white ceiling.
He settled back to wait.
From somewhere behind him, a breathless voice asked, “I’m alive?”
Danny’s voice joined the chorus of replies.

Special Summer Vacation (1)
This is for the HeiZuha-Week on @heizuhaevents Day 1! I planned a continuing Fanfiction of short stories so hopefully you'll find a part each day (or I'll upload the missing parts later) ^_^
I'll upload everything also on Ao3 soon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Maaaan, how long do ya actually need for the tasks? Are ya going to write a doctoral thesis on it or what?" Heiji was lying across the tatami mats of his parents' house, bored and sweating, waiting for his best friend to finish her summer homework. He had checked off the assignments within the first few days after the school vacations began - so that he wouldn't have to worry about them for the rest of the vacations and would be free to do other things. But Kazuha had more trouble solving the assignments than the young high school detective, who rolled a little closer to the open sliding doors of the room they were sitting in at that minute.
They had chosen the room that overlooked the garden. It was the most pleasant because it had the best view into the beautifully manicured garden. A light breeze blew through the house because the sliding doors were also open in other rooms to create an airy climate. A small wind chime tinkled in the breeze in between while Kazuha sat bent over her notebook. Even the watermelons on the table in front of her were sweating in this heat.
"It’d go faster if a certain someone would help me here a little more!" Grimly she looked at her best friend, whose tank top had slipped and exposed more of his upper body than she actually wanted to see. Didn't this guy actually have any decency? Best childhood friends or not - sometimes she doubted whether he even perceived her as a woman, the way he always walked around in front of her. How was she supposed to concentrate on her tasks when she felt the heat in her cheeks all the time? What an idiot. "No, it's too hot for me right now…" "Then live with it!" "I could just go by myself!" "Go on then!" "But I don't wanna!" "Then don't complain!" "I can complain all I want if it's a fact, Ahou!" "I don't understand why I have to come along anyway, Ahou!"
A pair of turquoise eyes peered up at her over the edge of the table as Heiji made at least a small effort to look her in the eye. His eyebrows were drawn together grimly as he gave her an almost reproachful look. Kazuha could have melted again, although his look didn't seem very inviting. Why did this annoying guy actually look so forbidden good? But she did not let herself be taken in by it. Instead, she turned her head aside, playfully offended. "Hmph!" "Because ya have to. You'll like it." "I don't know what's so great about throwing on a stuffy motorcycle helmet in these temperatures…"
Heiji narrowed his eyes slightly, still peering over the edge of the table at Kazuha. Then he lay back down and crossed his arms behind his head in a huff. "Ya won't find out that way anyway." Kazuha turned her gaze back to him and frowned slightly. Lately, the guy was always making a secret out of everything and constantly beating around the bush. What to make of it, however, the brunette didn't know. She sighed slightly and turned her eyes back to her notes. "Can ya at least explain me the task here or will ya melt away if ya try?"
Heiji opened one eye scrutinizingly, then brought down a hand and pierced his ear thoughtfully with his little finger. "Could it be any friendlier?" "Who wants me to come with ya? I'm happy to just go home! At least I can do the things in peace…" "Still, ya could say 'please'!" A bit ponderously, the highschool detective sat up and bent over the table to look at her task. There ya go, Kazuha thought, and let him explain the task to her. When she understood the solution, she then also gave him a pretty smile. "Thank ya, Heiji!"
He reacted a little grumpily, perhaps a little embarrassed. But Kazuha already knew that he liked to cover up his embarrassment a little. She didn't hold it against him and continued to work diligently on her tasks while he lay down on the tatami floor again and waited for things to happen. Actually, it was strange that he was so patient. The trip must be really important to him.
It took a while longer, and while her pen scratched across the paper in silence, the wind made the wind chimes sound repeatedly, and the cicadas could be heard outside, Kazuha solved one task after another. But finally she was able to put down the pencil and stretched extensively in relief. "Done!" she announced delightedly. But when her eyes fell on her childhood friend, he had actually dozed off over the wait. Kazuha propped her chin in one hand and looked across the table at Heiji lying on the floor, sleeping peacefully there with his mouth slightly open.
Well, he was funny, wasn’t he? First he made such a fuss and now he just fell asleep. For a moment, she wondered if she should wake him up. But somehow he seemed so peaceful right now that it was almost a pity. She decided to savor the moment a little instead, if he didn't notice. She could still wake him up in half an hour or so. She tiptoed to one of the closets and took out a thin blanket so that he wouldn't catch a cold in his sleep. Then she went over to him and carefully put the blanket over his naked belly.
Comfortably, she lay down at his side and watched him sleep for a while. It was rare to have the opportunity to just look at him so intently up close without it becoming embarrassing. Surely he would think she was creepy too if he knew about this right now. But she didn't care right now, after all, she didn't do this all the time. However, her eyelids became increasingly heavy. Learning was also exhausting. In addition this heat… And then this idiot also wanted to go with motorcycle clothes. Kazuha rested her head on her forearms. This was suicide… Wherever he wanted to go.
When Shizuka wondered about the unusual silence in the house and a little later looked after the two teenagers, she found them lying side by side on the floor asleep. A smile came to her lips at this almost nostalgic image, as she had last seen such a scene in their childhood. So she did not miss the opportunity to capture this sight for eternity on photographic film, before she gently covered Kazuha with a light blanket and left them alone again.
To be continued...

random fluff w/ itto please!! i adore how you write him :D
Tumblr media
The Sun (protection), The Emperor (support), The Chariot (accomplishments) :: itto x gn reader | destined fate
warning: sfw, fluff (appearances: arataki itto gang members, traveler, paimon)
You’d never been to a wedding before, or one you remembered anyway. There was a time when you were dressed up to go to a party but it wasn’t fun so you blocked out most of it. However, as you stood here, memories surfaced, floated in your mind as you walked into the venue. So, perhaps the statement wasn’t ‘I’ve never been to a wedding,’ and instead was ‘I’ve never been to one I cared about.’
To be honest, you didn’t really know much about the couple, but the festivities were hard to pass up and your company wouldn’t have taken no for an answer if you tried.
“Oh maaaan, look at all this food!” Itto drooled as he eyed the piles of food littering table after table. You’d never seen so much decadence before. Wealthy people really know how to put on an event, you mused as you walked past a tray of delicious looking food. The smell was intoxicating but you fought against your desires, for now at least.
“Itto, focus please.” You begged, anxiously tapping his arm while you looked for familiar faces. The gang said they’d all be here but no one was sticking out of the crowd. At least you knew you’d find Itto easy enough. If it weren’t he large, red horns or white hair, it was his height that make him stick out like a sore thumb. Not to mention he was still hardly wearing clothes, even after all your begging.
“y/n, this is so unfair. I can’t just let this go to waste. AH! What if someone knocks into the table and it all ... falls to the floor.” He looked pitiful as his imagination crafted his worst fear. Poor puppy dog eyes gazing at you while you tried to figure out if it was appropriate or not to eat.
“Just a little.” You whispered.
Itto took your approval with great pride as he picked up a leg of meat and began chewing it eagerly. It was almost impressive how fast he ate but you didn’t bat an eye at the skeptical. Instead, you searched the crowd again until you found a friendly face.
“Paimon!” You waved, relief spreading through you at the floating girl hovering above the crowd. Her face lit up and you made your way toward her while she pulled on her companions hair. “I didn’t expect to see you all here.”
“We couldn’t miss out on the festivities!”
“Paimon wouldn’t stop talking about the food.” The traveler corrected, a smug smile on their face.
“Hey!” She stomped her foot in the air, fists hitting her hips as she puffed out her cheeks and gave her friend a stern look.
“It’s alight, I have one of those too.” You pointed behind you at the lumbering oni who had scared most of the other patrons away while he chowed down. You sighed but didn’t try to stop him.
“Oh, Itto’s here too!” Paimon beamed but you wondered if it was because of the Arataki gang leader or if it was the food he stood by. “It would be -- ahem -- rude not to say hello.”
The traveler rolled their eyes and shook their head, “Go on.” They said and Paimon eagerly floated over to the table, hands clapping in delight.
--
The four of you spent some time together. Your odd pairing a sight to see, but what soon was a simple ‘drawing of attentions,’ had turned into a ‘turning heads’ sort of affair when the other members of the Arataki gang showed up. It was far livelier than you had expected. After a while you began to feel a overwhelmed at the groups energy. So, quickly, you made your way free of them.
You disappeared without any fuss and made your way to a small overlook. The decorations stretched all the way out here as every wooden beam was covered with lovely flowers. The best part about it though was its emptiness, its quietness, both were just what you needed. As you let out a sigh, you looked out across the sea of people. The wedding party was making their way through the crowd, hands waving to those who shouted congratulations to them, smiles bright and full of joy. You wondered what it was like to be that happy, to know you found your forever person.
If that time would come for you - it would only be a dream.
“Aha, found you.” Itto practically jumped in your field of view. For someone so large he managed to sneak up on you frequently. Perhaps he did it on purpose or maybe you were always so lost in your fantasies you blocked out the world.
“Hello.” You giggled, arms crossed as you turned to face him. He was leaning toward you, lumbering hands resting on his knees to support his weight. Itto was always so bright, so lively, you wondered how he accomplished it all.
“Why’d you run off, the party’s still rockin’.”
“I needed a breather.” You explained, feeling a bit embarrassed. This was one other reason you didn’t go to parties much, they wore you out.
“Well if this ain’t the best place to do that. It smells like candy over here.” He explained with a deep breath, chest expanding as he stood to his full height.
Itto always brought a peace to you no matter what he did. Perhaps it was because he promised to protect you, Celestia knows he could. Or maybe it was because he always knew how to make you smile, how to remind you of the good around everything. He was a ray of sunshine in a world full of clouds.
“Are you having fun?” You asked, eyes watching his every movement.
“Of course! But it’s not over yet!”
“Um, yeah. What do you me-ah!” Itto pulled you to him and suddenly started to dance. His legs moved but you felt like he was dragging you more than leading you. With steps as large as fence posts you had to leap in order to keep up. “Itto!” You yelled but pulled your volume back in when strangers turned your way. “Sl-slow dooooown.” He pulled you closer and spun you around. The force knocked your thoughts from your head while you desperately tried to hold on to the straps of his clothes.
“Open your eyes!” He shouted and you did only to find yourself directly below the pergolas decorated in rich, delicate flowers. You were transfixed, stunned, and felt lighter than you had all evening. The world below you faded away and above you was a heavenly display.
As you reached your hand toward the flowers, Itto slowed until you could feel the petals grace your fingertips with their silk. The feeling grounded you, Itto held you. It was perfect.
“Now you’re having fun.” Itto grinned, a laugh slipping between his teeth when you looked at him. Suddenly, he snapped his neck to the side and while you found the ground rather quickly, he made sure you were steady before letting you go. “Don’t move!”
“O-okay.” You replied as he dashed away from the patio. Your focus drifted back to the flowers above you and you regretfully you didn’t take a flower as a keepsake.
There was a loud cry, a cacophony of voices riled up and spreading across the crowd. Confused, you made your way toward it until you saw a bumbling oni pushing through with something in his hand. He held it high and yelled something incomprehensible to the reaching hands who tried to touch his prize.
“Itto?”
“Haha! Sorry, I had to get it. Couldn’t let someone else take it now could I?”
“What are you talking about?” You asked with a nervous chuckle, peering behind his broad chest to see what he hid from you.
You jumped when he shoved a bouquet of flowers in your face. They were stunning, perfectly arranged - except for the small damage they took on their way to you. You had a feeling these held a different meaning than the other bouquets resting on the tables based on the way the party goers reacted. How their eyes shifted between defeated and proud, how the Traveler and Paimon pulled at each other as they watched you, and how the gang started crying, or worse, fainting at it all.
“A-are these for me?” You asked, confused, but took the flowers in your hand.
“Of course, who else would they go too?” He seemed embarrassed but you didn’t know why.  “So um, my um -- pal -- no.” Itto twisted toward the group and you saw them wave him on. “Will you ... accept these ... from me?” He thrust his thumb as his chest and waited for your reply.
“Yes, of course I will. How could I say no?”
Itto was in shock but his astonishment shifted into pure joy and though you didn’t fully understand his meaning, you felt like had an idea as soon as he lifted you in the air and shouted, “YOU SAID YES!”
