So we all know Wilbur isn’t apart of qsmp anymore (for good reason but that’s not the point rn) and so Talulah is now Philza’s daughter permanently.

But how is this working canonically? Like are we erasing Wilbur’s lore from the qsmp completely, which probably wouldn’t be too big a difference since he didn’t do much anyway. However this would affect Talulah quite a bit-

So is Talulah’s lore changed as well and in what way? Like is she erased from existence prior to July when it was official (to the audience) that she had been adopted?

Personally I’ve been imagining it that she was a foster care child for the entirety of the time Phil was ‘baby sitting her’ bc it keeps the importance and emotional significance to the moment when Phil tells her that he always thought of her as his daughter.

Other things I’ve been considering;

Talulah is still Philza’s grand-daughter and not direct daughter (biologically), but instead of Wilbur (who we don’t like anymore), it was Techno who fathered her, but she had run away before custody could be transferred to Phil, causing a sort of mass search explaining why she wasn’t with Phil from day one.

Or Talulah is 100% Phil’s daughter no questions asked, she always was. Wilbur never existed period. End of story. This is kinda contradictory to today’s Talulah lore tho. (Today being April 26, 2024) plus it also eliminates all emotional lore moments between her and Phil. This is more for the extra angry ex-fans who don’t really want to acknowledge his existence anymore, which I understand, it’s a shity situation caused by his own shity actions.

Or is Wilbur like dead…? In this case none of this matters.

Major Danny

Danny was already a pretty famous internet streamer. With around 18 million followers.

He was talking about building a rocket and explaining the science behind how to make it work. While at first only a few viewers watched it, it blew up as they learned from a scientist James Possible that the 10-year-old boy really knew what he was talking about and that it truly was a way to build a space rocket.

So now that he had built it over the years, his rocket was finally finished. So he put the camera on the rocket and got ready to launch. Which the followers weren't ready for!

They didn't think he really had rocket fuel! So while many people typed in the chat, he did not do it! Danny didn't really listen. He would finally be able to realize his dream of seeing space.

Danny got the song "major Tom Peter Schilling" ready as he started to launch. Well, he is as ready as he can be!

To visit the "International Space Station (ISS)"! Well, as the connection was lost, this live stream became the video that broke the internet.

I will never get over how much more mature Philza is in his lore than everyone else. He doesn’t have to be, he can choose his own lore, but he chooses instead for his character to always be the bigger person.

And this just goes to show how good of a storyteller he is; he knows the story requires his character to fill a supporting role and he does it without erasing his character’s complexity.

It’s not like his character is never immature, but when he is immature or lashes out, it doesn’t just affect the atmosphere, it completely changes it.

He yells at Wilbur, telling him to leave and find the eggs himself if he’s so upset about it- very much in the way an angry parent scolds a child- and for a brief moment you can feel how scared his character is, and Wilbur who was previously just confused and upset immediately becomes defensive (which benefits Wilbur’s story).

But more importantly Phil apologizes immediately after he’s calmed down, something which we don’t really see from other characters that are described as calm, cool and mature the same way he is. (being more mature isn’t a source of pride for him) It speaks volumes about who his character is, and just how long he’s been around compared to everyone else.

It shows that his character is also choosing to be the bigger person. It shows that he knows better than to wait to apologize to someone he cares about; which taken in the context of his lore can imply that he may have experience with loosing friends or allies in that way.

There’s more I could say abt this, especially with what this can imply about Wilbur and Phil’s father/son relationship, but I think that deserves its own post.
