Absolutely fascinated with our pharmacist. Went to pick something up for rouke and he just did like. A drive-by vaccination. Asked me if I wanted the flu shot, I said yeah, started getting ready for it, then he just walked up and injected me within half a second, then went 'ok bring rouke in this weekend' and bounced. #this is what i was referring to in my last post #sometimes ideas will just pop into my head and i will be unable to resist the urge #i missed sprite editing. it had been a while since i last made a person's sprite #anyways her name is Akira and I haven't decided if it's Akira Tomori or Akira Hatano yet #i like both of their surnames a bunch #thinking of her from a scenario where Ayame and Kizuna survive the kg and get together a while afterwards #Akira is adopted. obviously. Her biological parents died in the tragedy she was adopted at around 4-6 years old #doesn't remember how her bio parents where because she was like? 1-2 years old when they died? #being with them in whatever happened that led to their deaths she may have some form of memory problem from the accident(?) #Akira is pretty forgetful and slow on the uptakes. but it's nothing too worrisome #she doesn't actually care that she can't remember her bio parents because the family she has now is much more important to her #she takes more after Kizuna especially in tems of personality (tho definitely not as bad as she used to be in Dra if you know what i mean) #put them in a room together and they will gossip and talk about random shit for hours #she loves Ayame too! they just don't talk a much? #im posting this very late because i was sort of weary of how it came out and ended up messing w it until it was like 4am oops. #and i have plans tmrw so... oh well! i did my best and ill put it out while i can! #and i tried to make the scene match barnard's colors lol #finn's ocs #finn's art #i know i said id do more sillay stuff with the simpler screentone only style but i had a couple more of these in me #and this is the first piece im making thats like an actual part of the story too rather than just setting stuff for fun #i wanna write something to go with it too but for now ill just sort of briefly explain the context in the tags here: #barnard has a pretty bad case of OCD and his compulsions have made it difficult to make friends in the past #he was never outright bullied or anything but people just didnt really have the patience to deal with it #he has compulsions that include stuff like walking through doors until it feels right and needing things to be perfectly aligned #which in group settings has lead to people having to wait for him to finish his rituals and join them #they might find it tolerable at first but eventually they grow impatient and hes just... not invited to stuff anymore #but juno is a newer member of the guild who ends up frequenting the same library. hes also kinda a little weird #and they dont become fast friends or anything but just sort of naturally spend time in the same place #though they never plan meetups they eventually fall into a routine. around the same time theyd just both be at the library #and read next to each other. and maybe talk a bit. and eventually they end up walking back to the guildhall together #since theyre going to the same place after all. and juno always waits for barnard outside the door #eventually barnard asks if this bothers him. juno kinda just tells him 'of course it does' without any malice or anything. just a statement #barnard is surprised and apologizes and juno says not to. but the next day juno doesnt show up at the usual time. #barnard assumes hes committed somekinda more by bringing it up. he ends up staying there late reading to get his mind off it & not ruminate #but when he leaves juno is in fact still waiting for him down the hall (see pic) having collected a bunch of books literally abt ocd #he fell asleep bc barnard stayed later than expected. and hes an eepy guy generally. and also one very bad at expressing himself #but now barnard gets that juno's 'of course it [bothers me]' had the implication of 'but its worth it' which no friend has previously done. #and from the interaction juno was also able to understand that this isn't something barnard just does for the hell of it so. he studies. #and checks a bunch of stuff out because he thinks it could help his friend too (theres ocd workbooks and such- i remember working w them) #and thats the point where they became more ''friends'' than ''pleasant library acquaintances'' #from there on they also do get into juno's problems. whole other bag of worms. but this specific scene is more about bernard from his pov #sorry about when i said briefly explain. i lied </3 #but compared to the whole sequence im picturing its brief so shhh

Play 13 Sentinels I am no longer asking

#13sar #13 sentinels #Some maybe implied spoilers in tags #I am not okay in any way I love this game so excessively much #I'd need like a 500 slide powerpoint precentation but tldr #Hijiyama's route is my favourite and also Insanely good #Gouto's route is incredibly good and an unexpected favourite I didn't expect that to be as good as it was #They really saved the absolute best for last #I have beefed so much with how late Hiji's route is forced because I loved it from the prologue but I 100% understand and I am 100% okay #with it cause every single time I've been forced to wait for it it was so fucking worth it #Girlies after they finish Live to Protect and ESPECIALLY girlies after they finish Hiji's last event whose name escapes me now #But holy shit dude Hiji's route is excellent I can rant about it for hours #It's enjoyable as hell it's got Excellent plot reveals it hits EVERY emotional beat it pulls #Like she has it all #Not to say that the other routes don't they're all excellent Hiji's just my favourite out of the bunch and succeeds in All aspects #Whereas some routes like Yuki's I feel are Completely carried by how enjoyable Yuki herself is #While not succeeding as much in say the plot department #Which isn't a Problem but it's just something which makes me prefer routes over each other when some can hit Everything it tries while #others might neglect certain aspects in favour of others which doesn't make it Worse but makes it less complete as such

Okay, so, apparently Elon put up his new "X" sign to mark his territory on the Twitter HQ building, and apparently the sign's not only a cheap, slapped-together rushjob piece of shit that uses the exact same too-bright LED lights that people complain about in modern car headlights, but it has a regularly occurring strobe effect. As in it intentionally blinks like strobe light every 5-15 minutes or so.

Not only is this peak edgelord twelve-year-old boy aesthetic, this shit could seriously injure kill people. People have been reporting that merely the video people have recorded of this dumbass sign has triggered seizures in them. (Seriously, don't look up the video unless you're 100% positive you're not photosensitive in any way, and don't post it as anything but a link with a warning anywhere that has autoplay out of courtesy for disabled viewers.) There is an apartment building directly across the street that's filled with studio apartments that, if the building plans people shared are correct, have absolutely no way to escape this blinding rave light unless the occupant hides in their bathroom.

At this point, I don't know what it's going to take for that whiny douchebag princeling to face consequences he actually feels, at least enough to be discouraged from pulling stupid bullshit like this. At what point is Daddy's Emerald Mine Money not going to be enough to keep bailing him out of consequences for violating building codes, labor laws, civil rights laws, the friggin' ADA, and not paying his damn rent like the rest of us?

#the ceiling guys have been hounding us for WEEKS about our cable tray being too low #my coworker has re-worked it 3 times. they went to put the ceiling up today and it's STILL too low #so i had to fix it because apparently SOMEONE can't read a fucking tape measure #the drywallers also had to cut apart a bunch of drywall so my coworker could fix some switches that got fucked up #the drywallers are fucking PISSED and frankly they have the right to be. the wall was plastered and painted ffs #and then my foreman discovered that a place where he put a bunch of boxes was going to inaccessible so the boxes need to be moved #and then he didn't relay that information to anyone else so i caught two other coworkers trying to add boxes to that area #two apprentices tried coring through a wall without a bucket to catch the water from the cooling system and almost flooded the floor #that's not their fault. they should have had a fucking journeyman with them but my company is too cheap to hire enough journeymen #the lack of apprentice supervision is becoming a SERIOUS problem at this job site #i've always liked working at this company but i am beginning to consider jumping ship when i make journeyman this spring
