So, this is going to be my pinned post, for some info about me:

• I am 22 years into maturity

• I am a queer transfemme butch switch bitch (sub leaning). My pronouns are She/They and I am attempting to navigate my gender even today. Questioning it a lot as of recently.

• Even tho I am abrosexual, I prefer fluxsexual because it's my own label and it's more comforting. So, ask me anything if stuff is confusing.

• I am open about my kinks and sexual-ness, just ask. I also have very few limits, as seen below. Just ask if I'm okay with it, and I'll let you know.

• I have autism, struggle with depression, and social anxiety. So please be patient with me, AND DIRECT.

My hard limits are as follows:

I add that I am transgender, because I am proud to be so, and it is part of my identity just as much as being a girl is.

I have quite a bit going on about me medically. It's a fascination of mine to learn more about the medical stuff happening in my body. I am in no way a professional, nor can I help you with your medical issues.

Some of those medical issues include: Autism, D.I.D, gall stones, scoliosis, kyphosis, fibromyalgia, flat footed, rheumatoid arthritis, restless leg syndrome, hypothyroidism. Feel free to look any of these up if you're curious to learn more.

star trek fans specifically are crazy for that. you say "im not really comfortable watching tos because of the way captain kirk interacts with women" and 900000 people come crawling oit of the woodwork to say UM ACTUALLY kirk is a GENTLEMAN FEMINIST who is ALWAYS NICE and VERY BISEXUAL! and the only people who think he acts like that are the DUMB PIG CHAUVINIST MEN who think kirk is LIKE THEM! okay im actually referring to how he constantly grabs at women esp when they're unhappy and physically restrains them. or the weird sexually charged comments he makes. or his persistent assumption of all women as available and simple things to be acquired or controlled. and sometimes they lobby back with the "well Its Made In The Sixties so of course its Dated but its still PROGRESSIVE!" okay well its so dated that im not comfortable. i cant just say to myself "oh well it was another time" and immediately become blind to whats happening before my eyes.

So apparently I never shared the shortcut to happiness that is making a lacy parasol. Let me rectify that:

I found this plastic parasol in a thrift shop, I think it was a prop for a restaurant or something. Pretty, but not actually functional as a parasol (it got to 40c when i made this, i had ample opportunity to test it out).

I had lacy parasols on the brain and before I could convince myself to try and tat one, I realised I had lace too sturdy for dresses, and also this doily:

This worked so well. I zigzagged over the lace and then cut the back (an old tablecloth with a permanent stain) away carefully. I cleaned the parasol of the old glue and glued the new fabric on with fabric glue, handstitching down the edge.

It had to dry overnight, but it was done in time for me to parade around with. Instant happiness.

So, bit of a life update, I guess: I recently found out that my hormone levels were so far from the goal levels that I went onto estrogen injections. Uh, they were so low that I was practically detransitioning without me even knowing.

So, the point of this post is to say that I am very hormonal and excruciatingly horny.

Shetland Lace Class

The knitter's guild had Lauren Nelkin, a knitting pattern designer who also teaches knitting classes, host a series of classes this weekend, and I was fortunate enough to be able to snag a spot that had opened up for her class on Shetland lace knitting this morning! These are the swatches I made of the bead stitch and bird's eye stitch, though I mostly worked on the bird's eye stitch at home. There's also a sample of a lace edging that's quite a bit bigger repeat, and a bit more intimidating, that I'll attempt to swatch up later.
