Ukrainian Hero

The Ukrainian combat medic Sergeant Daria Filipieva has been killed in battle against the Russian Army. She was assigned the call sign "Lightning" because she could come to the aid of soldiers as quickly as a bullet or a fragment of a projectile. Daria, a bright and creative individual, could not stand by and watch others defend their native land. She saved dozens of lives on the battlefield, like an angel. Her light will continue to shine from the sky forever.

Rest in Peace Daria, Ukraine will never forget your sacrifice!

1976-Yonatan Netanyahu

Yonatan "Yoni" Netanyahu (Hebrew: יונתן נתניהו; March 13, 1946 – July 4, 1976) was an American-born Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officer who commanded the elite commando unit Sayeret Matkal during Operation Entebbe, an operation to rescue hostages held at Entebbe Airport in Uganda in 1976. 102 of the 106 hostages were rescued, but Netanyahu was killed in action—the only IDF fatality during the operation.

When the thief went through her possessions, he threw on the floor the cross sent to Mrs. Law by the government when her son, Pte. George Law, was killed at Hong Kong.

Ukrainian Hero

Kane Te Kai, the volunteer soldier from New Zealand who went viral a few weeks ago when a video was released of him saving a Ukrainian friend held captive by the Russians, was buried in Auckland today.

Kane was killed in battle against the Russian Army on March 20th.
