Scary Dog Privileges

The boys had always said you had scary dog privileges, most of your outfits consisting of techwear

Which is the reason why they asked you to be apart of the videos where they go out shopping

Having felt safer with you walking next to them or behind them, giving a little nod whenever they'd look back at you

That said, the boys are the some of the few people that get to see your soft side

This being the major thing that gets Vik to eventually warm up to you, that and he needed help reaching a mug that Simon had purposely put on the highest shelf. Being too lazy to get the stool and knowing you'd have no problem climbing the counter.

Sidemen fans on Reddit are really something else.

First I saw a bunch of complaints about this past Sidemen Sunday’s title (Sidemen $100,000 hot vs cold mukbang). Literally just the fucking title. They were saying that it’s too pandering and full of keywords. It’s literally how they’ve titled almost every video since 2018, if you look at the other versus and mukbang videos you’ll see they’re titled the same way, they just combined the two for this video.

And I just saw complaints about the latest reacts (athletes caught cheating). Apparently they’ve reacted to a similar video before. I guess they’re supposed to know every video they’ve ever reacted to, and which Sidemen reacted to it, and never have those Sidemen react to a similar video ever again. There’s more than one ‘athletes caught cheating’ video, and Simon and Tobi are allowed to react to more than one (I only use them bc they were in both reacts videos).

It’s just really fucking annoying to see how ungrateful and spoiled these so called “fans” are. I’ve also made this point a few times on Reddit in the comments of those posts, but I feel like no one there cares.

No, I’m not.

Prompt: Going out with josh alone in the first time in a while causes him to get some very unwanted female attention, making you feel a bit insecure and even jealous in yourself.

Warnings: alcohol, swearing, mentions of eye and hair colour,

We got out the taxi as it arrived at fabric, it’s been a while since we’ve been out-out together, especially alone.

I smile up at josh as he helps me out the vehicle his eyes looking at me fruity hai sunglasses.

Fabric was the most popular bar in London, we had waited weeks to even get a spot so coming here was almost an honour.

I link my arm with his as we wait in line.

“Don’t get too pissed, n/n.” He chuckles and squeezes my forearm slightly.

“I won’t! I’m just looking forward to it you know? Just buzzing.” I replied and smile at him.

He smiles back as he takes his glasses off and take son a deep breath.

I look ahead and see two girls standing a couple feet to the left of us, presumably about to get in line look josh up and down, I see the shorter one nudge her friend before she nods and they bit go to the back of the line, giggling.

I feel a sinking feeling in my stomach which I’m not really used too- jealousy.

Josh stands tall as he holds me to his side, still somehow not soothing me.

As we get into the club I still have a hesitant feeling but I push it away as the night flows.

At some point he asks me to go get us some more shots I happily oblige and get us 2 apple sours each.

I held the tray in my hands as I swerved through people to get back to our little booth- I was stopped in my tracks as I saw one of the girls from earlier leaning over our table and talking to josh.

From her position josh could easily look down her dress with I assume is what she wanted.

He has his eyes on her face as she speaks and my stomach completely drops.

I attempt to meet his eyes but give up after a second.

I look at the shots in my hands and sigh.

His eyes then meet mine and he smiles- cutting the girl off.

“Y/n- you got the shots! Come sit down.” I smile back as the girl turns around, she was the complete opposite of me, she was tall with blonde hair and blue eyes while I was short with black hair and brown eyes- she looked confident while I almost cowered from her.

I got a boost and made eyes contact with her, I sit next to josh as he throws his arm around my shoulder- I put the shots on the table and look at her as she almost grimaces.

“You were saying?” He says and she turns her full attention back to him.

She keeps talking and maybe that’s what got me.

She didn’t care that I was clearly dating him.

She wasn’t intimidated by me.

He nodded slowly and turned back to me as she spoke his ear off.

“What time do you wanna go, babe?”

I look at him and smile.

“I don’t mind.”

He nodded then looked back at the girl- which she finally got the hint from and hummed.

“Yeah- Kay- bye.”

As she leaves I look in my lap as josh looks at me.

“You okay?” He says at my facial expressions.

“Hm- oh- yeah.” I reply in a soft tone.

He studies my face and grins.

“You’re jealous.” He leans in to my face and smirks- a sweet scent of alcohol on his breath.

“What? Why would I be jealous.” She narrows her eyes almost playfully and he scoots closer- now thigh-to-thigh.

“I can tell- your nose is flushed and your speaking quieter- you only do that when your annoyed- especially when it’s out of your control- I know you.” He teases and leans his forehead on hers.

“No, I’m not.” I say as my pale cheeks flush.

He laughs and hugs her.

“I love you, Y/n.. Kay? Just.. you’re my favourite girl okay? I promise- it’s just us, me and you.”

I avert my eyes down.

“I’m- yeah.. I know..”

He pulls away and gives me one of the shots, he leans his back on the booth and clings our glasses before downing it together.

“I love you- we can go in around an hour yeah?”

I nod as my face flushes further.

Josh was right- when I got irritated out of my control I went quiet and ignored everyone- even though she claimed ‘communication is key’.

I look forward and see the girl who was with josh previously, eyeing me down with a death stare.

I sit up and take Josh’s cheek in my hand, bringing my lips to his and nudging closer to him, sweet apple transferring between our tongues as I open my mouth- he closes his eye and I open mine, making eye contact with the girl- she looks at me and her eyes widen.

I kiss him gently, lips moving with an alcoholic scent with smiles in the kiss.

I pull away and he smiles.

“What’s that for?” He grins and scratches his head.

“I love you too- you’re my favourite boy..”

He kisses my forehead as another round of drinks come.

An hour or so later he calls a taxi and we sit in the back giggling- drunk out of our mind.

“You- shouldn’t be jealous of me- look at me- then look at you! I- should be jealous of everyone that gets to look at you..”

He giggles and ruffles my straightened her to which I let out a huff.

I remember that comment in the morning.

I think I’ll remember that for a while.

I sign as I look up and the tall building in front of me

Finally moving to the big city of London

My best friend finally convinced me with his rambling that this would be the best place to get a job and move to

Who is my best friend you may ask?

Well the one and only Calfreezy

I’ve known Calfreezy for the longest time and we have been friends ever since we met

Not long after Freezy moved to the UK, we became neighbours

He was the annoying boy next door that I saw all the time and could never get rid of

He was like the brother I never had

When Freezy started growing on YouTube and made friends with other YouTubers, he decided that it was best to move to London and start networking

I on the other hand decided that I wanted to go to university and get a degree

From a young age, I haven’t really been sure what I wanted to do, so going to university was a big decision

I finally found my love for photography and decided that was the way that I wanted to go with my life

So fresh out of university, I decided to make the leap and move to London, not just so I could spend time with my best friend but to broaden my horizons

I contacted some companies, showed them portfolio and managed to get a internship with a big name company

I knew that I would need somewhere to live and I couldn’t think of anywhere better than the same building that Freezy had done nothing but bang on about since he moved in

Today was my moving in day and Freezy has no idea that I’m about to become his new neighbour

I take a deep breath as I walk into the grand building stood in front of me

I drag my suitcase behind me, whilst holding a box under my arm

“It’s ok, don’t worry! No harm done” I say before picking up the rest of the things and putting them back in the box

“I’m guessing by the box and suitcase, that you are moving in?” Tobi says gesturing towards my bag and box

I nod

“Yeah, I am a photograhy intern and I needed a place to live, so here I am! I’m Y/N by the way” I explain with a smile

“My best friend lives in this building and banged on about how amazing it is to live here, so I thought that i would surprise him” I continue to explain

“Callum Airey, sorry you probably know him as Calfreezy” I say correcting myself

“Ahhhh yes, I know Freezy! I’m assuming that I’m you know Freezy then you will know who I am” Tobi says

I laugh at the statement

“Alright big head, yes I do know who you and the Sidemen are, I just didn’t want to seem like some kind of fan girl because after spending time with Freezy in public, I know what they can be like” I explain to him

Tobi nods

“Yes fangirls are lovely but It’s nice to not have people crowding you or in the older days screaming in you face” He says

I get what he means, when Freezy started to get big and the fangirls used to crowd us and could be all levels of crazy in public but just like the boys have, the fans are growing up with them and have mellowed slightly

I mean they aren’t like directioners but still they are fans non the less

“So I was actually down here just getting my post, but now I’m wondering if you wanted any help with your stuff?” Tobi asks

With a smug smile on my face, I say

“Well I think that is the least that you could do, considering my stuff was all over the floor after you bumped into me”

“No the least I could do, would be for me to take you to dinner to welcome you to the building and the least you could do for me would be to allow me to see you in some of this underwear that I so kindly helped you pick up” he says

I let out a laugh

“Alright, I’ll let you take me out, but we will have to see about the underwear” I say as I hand him the box before making my way to the lifts

The boys had once tried to teach y/n how to use a controller, quickly realizing that while they understood it, they just couldn't react quick enough

Either way, they'd still try to convince y/n to play FIFA with them

There's been many times that y/n has gotten hit in the face w/ a ball, whether it be a basketball or a baseball

'How did you not see that?' Harry laughing when y/n just shrugs in response

Sometimes when carrying their laptop, Simon notices how it almost slips due to how loose of a grip they have on it

They have dropped a few plates and bowls b/c of the same problem

Vikk will try and make sure you have the right grip on it, even having a separate plastic set of dish wear

'Shit' is all they hear the first time it happens, those in the next room over speedrunning towards the sound

'Y/n, what happened?' all chipping in to clean up the broken shards

Tobi tries to remind them to not hold their fork too tightly when cutting something as y/n tends to get cramps in their hand

'What's so funny about how I hold my fork?'

'You hold it like a toddler mate.'

'Y/n stop throwing markers at me!'

'I don't mean to Behz!' it being the 3rd time during the sidemen go back to school video that while twirling their white board marker between their fingers, accidentally shot it towards Ethan's direction

Josh was the one who taught them how to tie their shoes, going through a variety of methods as they didn't understand what people meant when they talked about making 2 bunny ears, looping them around and going through the hole

None of them judging when y/n decides to wear slip on shoes instead, usually not giving it a second glance

Despite living in London for a long time, the Sidemen are confused that y/n still somehow doesn't know the main street name. Choosing to navigate based on landmarks

Hates wearing white as they end up getting multiple stains

JJ's the one to notice when speech is difficult for y/n; the give away being both how they phrase things and they start cussing more

'Take a minute, I'm not going anywhere.' He'll reassure when they get frustrated when struggling to answer simple questions like how their day was. Doesn't mind if they end up texting despite sitting right next to each other.
