Since I drew Marvin I figured the rest of the Monster AU should get to shine lol. Here's the rainbow of bois, though they're slightly different than how you may remember... a reminder of which is what below the cut!

Jackie: Red, Angel, assigned to Chase before Chase died. Personification of guardianship/protection. Heroic but insecure.

Jack: Orange, werewolf ex monster hunter. May have worked for this AU's IRIS in the past. Has had dealings with demons in the past.

Chase: Yellow, Turned into a Vampire to save his life, now lives with Henrik under strict supervision.

Anti: Green, Demon, personification of fear, likes to control/hurt other supernatural beings, sleep paralysis demons are his bitches.

Jamie: Light Blue, Reaper, personification of time. Captured at one point by Anti, cautious and quiet.

Henrik: Dark Blue, Born a Vampire, a doctor who uses his position to get blood for his own purposes. Has a mansion in his name and dedicates his freetime to sciences of life and death.

Robbie: A frankenstein like creation made by Henrik and Marvin. Taught how to interact with people by Chase. Very protective of his family, however curious and naïve he is.

Ice Skating | Jameson Jackson X Reader

"Jamie!" you say on impulse as you start to fall. Jameson simply smiles down at you, helping you steady yourself. You and your boyfriend decided to go to the ice-skating rank to kick off the Winter season. 

It's safe to say it's a lot harder than it looks. With Jameson being a mute it's rather hard for him to communicate with you while he's trying to help, so he waits for you grab the wall to sign something to you.

"You look like a baby deer trying to stand for the first time," Jamson claims, the grin on his face indicating his tone. "That's rich from someone who isn't even on the ice," you shoot back pointing at his skates still planted on the carpet just outside the entrance of the rank. 

Jameson gingerly steps on the ice. After wobbling for a moment, he moves to stand to the other side of you with ease. "Since when did you learn to skate?" You ask. "Since last year," He replies starting to move backwards. 

You grab his sleeve, preventing him from going too far. "No, don't leave me." You pull yourself to the ice, still gripping his overly fancy jacket tightly. Silently laughing to himself, Jameson tugs on his sleeve causing you to slide forwards.

You suck in a breath through your teeth as you slowly come to a stop. Jameson tugs a little harder this time, watching as you "skate" a bit faster stopping as you reach him. "You see? It's not that hard," He signs. 

"I guess it wasn't that difficult," You reply grabbing onto his coat next to the buttons. Jameson nods pulling you along with him careful as to not catch his skates on yours as you make your way around the rack, excided to spend the rest of the day together.

(Yandere! Marvin the Magnificent x Reader)

You opened your eyes slowly. You looked around, tried to figure out where you were. You couldn't focus, you felt like if you try to close your eyes again, you could just fall back to sleep immediately. No, you can't do that.

Try to remember back!

You were at a magic show. But not at an usual one, it was of Marvin the Magnificent himself. He was there. He was there in front of you and you could clearly hear him as he asked you to follow him. And you did.

You never been a big fan of magic shows or of magic itself, but Marvin was different. He was handsome, interesting, maybe a bit odd, but in a good way. And he always had a strange aura around him. His tone, his movements, his tricks or just his mysterious smirk on his face. They all had a strange and unique feeling and it always brought you back to him.

That's right, you were following him. But what happened next?

You felt like your head started to ache more painfully as you tried to think back further. But you couldn't.

"Oh, I see you're awake, darling!"

You looked up quickly as you heard his voice. And there he was. The one and only Marvin the Magnificent.

He leaned forward to you with a smirk. The mask still hid the half of his face, but you could clearly see how his mystical green eyes try to discover every inc of you. There was a sparkle of desire in his eyes, but he kept himself still.

You thought about the idea of looking around again, but you were too afraid to look away from him. What's he's gonna do with you?

The place was unknown, the memories were fuzzy, and you could feel the tears as they grew in the corner of your eyes 'cause of the panic.

"Shh, it's okay, sweetheart! Please don't cry!" he caressed your cheeks gently.

As his cold fingertips touched your skin, you could feel the shiver as it ran down on your spine.

You tried to move away from his touch, tried to be free, but the rope stopped you. Panically, you tried to set your hands free. You could feel the pain cause by the rub of the ropes. You knew that this will leave a bruise, but you didn't care. Not at this moment. 

Marvin grabbed your wrist. He wasn't gentle this time. 

"Stop moving, (Y/N)." 

He spoke firmly and his tone was threatening. You've never heard him talk like that. He was dangerously close to you and he used his force to keep you still. Although, you were already stopped moving. He got to know you that he was more dangerous and stronger than you thought and you were too frightened to test this fact with anything.

"What do you want from me?"

You could feel his breath and his gaze on you. Although, you weren't sure that he could hear you, cause of how quiet you were. 

"Oh, you're so precious!" he said as he caressed your wrist with his thumb, but still didn't let you go. "You see, I don't know how much you remember of the first show you saw from me, but I remember it very well. 'Cause the first time when I saw your pretty face, I couldn't help, but wanted to see you more and more." He talked slowly, making sure that you understand every word that he's saying. "And when I got the chance to talk with you, it was..." 

He let out a small chuckle before he continued. "Oh gosh, I felt amazing. I could finally hear your beautiful voice and have you close to me. And when you have to leave, I just couldn't let you go." His grip tightened on your wrist. "I don't want to let you go, (Y/N). I want to keep you here, for myself."

"You kidnapped me." You realized the whole situation as a tear drop fell down of your cheeks.

He tilted his head to the side with a smile as his gaze fixed on you. 

"I did." he answered in a frightfully calm tone. 

The tears were covered by his gentle but loveful kisses. 

You gently tilted your head, tried to get away again, but you immediately stopped when you heard his voice just right beside of your ear. 

"Don't test me, dear." 

He continued the kisses as his thumb gently rubbed your arm. 

"God, you're so beautiful, my dear. I waited so long to know you mine. And now you are." 

His last kiss was placed on your forehead.

"Do not worry, darling. I'll keep you safe."

Author’s Note: Again, a somewhat liberal interpretation of the prompt. And I realized this is a chance to play with other relationships.

AU: Missed Messages

November 30, Robin’s graduate year

 Jameson never understood why Jackie always needed to have a competition whenever they did anything. Sure it could be fun, sometimes, but it stopped being fun when fuck-ups turned into shaming. He couldn’t remember if Jackie had always done that, but Jameson has started to notice him doing it more and more this past year.

But this time, he was sitting out with someone else. Even better that it was Robin. Marvin really was right when he talked about her. Sweet, gentle, encouraging. She had even been trying to learn ASL on her own for a bit before he and Chase stepped up to teach her properly. Quick learner too, though she was still a bit of a slow reader and didn’t have the most extensive vocabulary.

They were on the medium slope for their ski-scapades. Jameson loved swooshing side to side. Robin was much clumsier though, barely able to go much more than a straight line. They had tried to hold hands one time, but then she broke off and tumbled down the hill a bit.

Jameson was right by her side, trying to see if she was okay. It took about a minute or so of trying to get her standing again.

“I’m fine Jameson. Let’s keep going.” She skied off, but Jameson quickly caught up to her. Before long, they were on the ground.

She gave an large huff, trying to catch her breath. “You wanna go again?”

“You okay?”

“Yeah, yeah. I still got all my teeth, and I have all this padding,” she reassured, patting her coat that did appear to have some fluff to do it. “Do you want to go again?” Jameson nodded slowly.

“Well, off we go, on another adventure through the snowy terrain!” She grabbed his arm and led him to the ski lift line. She couldn’t see, but wacky words like that always made him smile and laugh silently to himself.

A few minutes later, the clouds had blocked the sun, making it feel ten degrees colder. Jameson tucked his hands under his armpits to keep them warm. That didn’t stop a shiver from working his way up his spine.

“Are you cold?”

He nodded quickly.

“There’s a little trick for that I discovered.” They moved forward a few spots before she could indulge. “You focus on the part you want to warm up, say your arms.” Her upper arms were along her body and her forearms parallel to the ground. “Then, you just tense all the muscles in the area really really tight,” he noticed her coat shifting a bit, “And hold that for like 30 seconds to a minute. Then,” her arms went limp and swung downwards, “you relax. Keep you nice and toasty. Hands are. A bit hard, but you get the idea.”

They moved up another spot, and Jameson decided to try it. He made his arms Ls, like hers, then tried to tense his arm and ball his hands into fist.

“Hey, remember to breathe,” she reminded. He took a breath and accidentally relaxed. She giggled a little, but not in a way where he felt bad. “I forget, I’m used to isolating and activating specific muscles. I can try and teach you later. But, do you feel a little warmer now?” Even if it was for only a few seconds, Jameson did feel a bit warmer.

“Let’s try this instead,” she responded before he could. She rubbed her glove together, grabbed his hands, then cupped her hands around his. “They aren’t too cold, are they?”

He shook his head.

“Is it helping?”

He was feeling a bit warmer, so he nodded.

“Good. I don’t want you getting frostbite. It’s not fun.”

No, no it wasn’t. They moved up another few steps, barely managing to keep holding hands while walking. “You think you’re okay now?” she asked after another minute.

Jameson pulled his hands out and gave her a thumbs up and big smile. It was always pleasant to get her smile in return.

“So, how long have you been skiing?”

Jameson had to pause a moment to think and count on his fingers. “5 years!”

“5! Wow. You guys go skiing alot. Well, I know Marvin likes to, and sledding too.”

“Yeah. We have lots of trips.” Not always this large, but Jameson got to go at least four times each season, minimum. He’d also try to get his friends to come on some. 

“That’s really nice! It is a good pastime. And then you get to enjoy hot cocoa afterwards.”

Jameson nodded in agreement. The hot cocoa always helped warm him back up. “Your ski?”

“Me? Oh, no. This is my first time in ...” She closed her eyes and moved her lips silently. “Probably a decade actually.”

“10 years?”

“Yeah, um. There were... a lot of reasons. I’m still at the same skill level though, so, not much has changed,” she nervously laughed. 

They got to the front of the line and were directed into place for the lift. Once they were safely up in the air, the conversation continued.

“Are you having fun?”

“Fun? Oh, yeah, yeah. I love winter and snow, and getting to hang out with all of you.”

“Good!” Jameson proclaimed.

Then Jameson made the mistake of looking down, and suddenly his body was getting all tense and squished.

“You afraid too?”

He could barely acknowledge her while trying to scooch over to the side to hold onto the metal bar.

“Yeah, it can be scary. But, if we just look straight ahead, we get to see the end. It’s better that way.” Jameson anxiously followed her advice all the way until they slid down to the hilltop.

After that run down the hill, Jameson wanted to go inside. Cold, wind, heights, any reason would do. Not that Robin even asked for a reason.

They removed all the ski gear and returned then sat by the fireplace (which was surprisingly not being used by others). He put his hands close to the fire to warm them up. He continued the conversation when his fingers had full feeling in them. “You said you were afraid of heights?”

“afraid of... Oh, heights. No, no, I’m not exactly afraid of heights. I’m more afraid of falling off the ski lift.”

That Jameson could agree with.

“But, we don’t need to think about that right now. Want some hot cocoa.” Jameson relaxed just at the thought of it’s taste. “I’ll take that as a yes. I’ll be back soon. Don’t go anywhere.”

Why would he? It was toasty here, and winter was about being cozy.

Robin came back with hot cocoa in hand. “Here you are,” she placed the cup into his expectant hands. “Want to watch the others’ competition?” Jameson shook his head and sipped his drink, feeling all fuzzy inside. Why go be cold when he could be warm?

“Okay. Well, I’m gonna go see if I can see them. I think it’ll be interesting.” She left for the cold, but Jameson didn’t worry. He knew she could keep warm. Even without the hot chocolate, he thought, drinking more warmth.

Hi! Saw your post about wanting some company and ego talk, so here’s a question for you!! Which three egos do you think are underrated, and why should they get more attention? I’m curious :D (hope this isn’t weird, I’ve never done this before lmao)

Aw!!! Thank you!! And that's a very interesting question, let me think about it 🤔 (also this isn’t weird at all and I really appreciate you stepping out of your comfort zone to send this because I’ve been checking tumblr frequently like a goon X,D)

I’m putting my thoughts under a read more because this answer got longer then I was anticipating and also I technically did more then three? I wasn’t sure if you wanted just Mark Egos or Jack Egos or what and so I just did my best to think about all of them and then ended doing bonus parts because I’m excited and it got hard to pick after the first two I did sdgjfg I hope I answered your question in a satisfactory way and that I didn’t go overboard!!! I’m just long winded and excited about my first ask,,, Here’s to hoping it’s not too much! 

Overall across all the different batches/groups of egos (Yes, I call them Batches sometimes dhdhe) I think:

1. Silver Surfer - I'm a sucker for Superheros in general, I'm a Marvel and DC fan so seeing Superhero Egos makes me happy. I also read the Silver Surfer centric stories from the Ego Manor series and I loved them... I went looking for more stories about Silver, couldn't find much and was sad :( I also think there's a lot of potential with Silver Shepard and Jackieboy man interactions! Either as crime fighting partners, rivals, or their civilian identities are buddies but they're unaware of the other's hero identity! I don't know, it might just be my hero bias showing but I'd genuinely love to see more stuff with both of the hero egos 💜 They both just offer opportunities for both goofy silliness and serious, somber moments. You can make them witty and goofy but also explore the genuine, sincere desire to help people. You can talk about guilt complexes about how close they were to saving someone but just missing the mark, while still making them powerful and strong. I like seeing powerful characters who aren't infallible, because under those masks and powers, they're still human above everything else. That and they're just badass fhsjs

2. Bim Trimmer - He just seems really fun! I'm imagining Wilford taking him under his wing and I think people could have fun with their dynamic! Or you could spin it and have them as rivals! There's also a lot of potential for horror story telling with Bim, in my opinion. Seriously, a GameShow host that kills the losers to feed them to the other contestants? A possibly cannibalistic gameshow host with a show broadcast on the dark web? I wanna see people play with this character! Though I can understand why people may not be comfortable with those and if I do write stuff exploring that, I'll be sure to tag it appropriately so I don't make people uncomfortable.

3. Shawn Flynn - Look, I know Shawn Flynn is less ego and more voice over cameo/Bendy Character, but I think he and Jameson Jackson could be good ol timey friends together and I think it would be really cute!!! Shawn making little toys for his friends/people he cares about because he's a toy maker and enjoys making toys and wants the people he cares about to know that he's thinking about them! Shawn would also be able to get any era specific/dated references that JJ might make because they're from the same/similar era! He'd probably be a hit with Chase's kids too! I can totally imagine him sitting with Chase's kids and or Schneep's child and telling them about toy making processes and demonstrating! I love Shawn Flynn if you couldn't tell lmao

Bonus stuff:

I think most of the Markiplier Egos aside from Dark and Wilford are probably comparatively underrated. I love Dark and Wilford, don't get me wrong! But they do get the most attention and I just want to say that I would love to see Dr. Iplier, The Googles, Bing, The Jim, The Host, ect. get more love but I also understand that the sheer number of egos, both official and unofficial, can be very overwhelming and I don't want to push people to write for a larger number of characters then the feel comfortable and capable of writing.

Also! I know Ethan said he wasn't going to be doing ego stuff seriously and I totally respect that but we do have characters like Blank and Mad Mike and I just think they're neat and would like more work including them! Especially Blank interacting with Dark and Anti. I think Blank especially has potential for both funny and serious stuff depending on how he's written. He could either be cute and funny, pouting that he's just an April goof to Ethan, or he be written more seriously as an actual antagonist like Dark and Anti, desiring to step forward and be acknowledged like them. There's also the sad boi Blank take which I think is also valid!

Also Also! I've seen stuff for Unus and Annus, but I think I would love to see stuff about characters from the channel like The Gongoozler, Melon Man, MerMer, SCP Amy, Norbert Moses, and other UA Cryptids! I know they were just bits for a now dead channel, but I just love the idea of them meeting the other, non UA Egos and the chaos that could ensue from there!! There's also sad stuff that could be written about them because like, I don't know, maybe when the channel was deleted, Unus and Annus vanished because even with the fan support, they were destined to die with the channel, the others like Norbert, Gongoozler, Melon man, ect, all persisted due to fan support and not being tied to the channel the same way Unus and Annus were. Unus and Annus were the channel, the figure heads and mascots, the others were just spawned off the videos and live on through saved clips. The thing is, maybe they still consider Unus and Annus their "creators"/dads and now have to grieve the two because they out lived them?

Day: 2/25 (I'm only doing 25 days)

Ok. First box down, ten more to go. I'm moving into a new apartment complex today. It's been about a year since I ended up in the year 2022. After a rough start I found myself a job at the local "McDonalds". I know fast food is a far cry from my previous career, but as far as I know they don't really make silent films anymore. 

After a bit of working at McDonalds I got myself a tiny apartment with a roommate. Now I'm moving into one of my own. I think it'll be better now that I don't live with a guy who's bringing over someone every other night. 

After what seems like forever of getting boxes from the U-Haul downstairs, I finally sit down on the couch that came with the apartment. There are two rooms to my new living space. The bedroom and the main area. 

A knock on the door causes me to jump. It's always awkward answering the door due to me not being able to speak. I open the door to see the same person I saw while moving the boxes standing there with smaller box in hand. 

"Hello," she greets. I smile at her signing a hi. "Oh, I don't speak sign language. Wait, can you hear me?" I nod and hold up one finger before rushing to find a notepad and a pen. I find the one I took from the hotel yesterday and return to the door with a letter that reads "Hi, I'm Jameson."

She reads over the message before responding. "I'm y/n. I saw that you just moved in, and I had an extra pie, so I brought it for you." Y/n gestures for me to take the box from her arms. I grab it setting it on the table next to me before jotting down another note.

"Oh, you shouldn't have. Thank you." 

"It's my pleasure. I feel like greeting your new neighbor with a sweet is one of those things that was sadly lost in time." I nod not remembering getting a greeting from any neighbor when I moved into my last apartment, let alone a dessert. 

"Thanks again." I write. "No problem. By the way, do you have anything to do on Christmas eve?" I shake my head no. Since arriving in the future, it's been quite lonely. "Oh, cool. I'm hosting a party at my place," Y/n points to the door across from mine, "and you're invited if you want to come."

"Sure. I'll be there." I write back. She smiles. "See you then?" I nod. "See you then." With that she turns away and wanders into the apartment across from mine and I close the door. I guess I have plans now.
