I feel that this show doesn't get enough praise on Tumblr at all. Not even CLOSE ENOUGH!
It's called "Close Enough", it's made by the creators of "Regular Show" and it's a show that really helped me recently!
Weeks ago I had a pretty bad Anxiety Attack and felt really awful, and when I put this show on. It helped me to calm down and cheer up.
Close Enough is a great show if you want a good laugh and enjoy it for what it is. Each episode is short (11 mins) and fairly self contained. Also I really love the artstyle too! If I was doing an animated show, this is the style of show I would be doing! Oh, and props to the VAs too especially Kimiko Glenn who voices my favourite character Bridgette! <3
As much as I love Moon Girl, Molly McGee and other recent animated shows, None have even come close to help me in a way that Close Enough did! It cheered me up in a scary moment of my life! I am so grateful for this show and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! <3

Regular Show: The Movie
“Regular Show: The Movie” just feels like a longer episode of the show and misses a great opportunity to make something truly meaningful.
Mordecai and Rigby are late to work again, but this time they’re really about to be fired. Luckily, Rigby manages to calm Benson down enough to let them keep their job. While working, a spaceship crash lands in the park. The park crew goes to check it out and finds a future version of Rigby badly injured. He explains that the timeline is being threatened and the only way to save it is if Rigby is honest about something he’s been hiding from Mordecai for the past six years.
“Regular Show” was a show that I grew out of fairly quickly. I was more interested in the other big Cartoon Network shows like “The Amazing World Of Gumball” and especially “Adventure Time”. “The Amazing World Of Gumball” had extremely clever writing and “Adventure Time” had amazing, likable characters. “Regular Show” had neither. Even as a child I didn’t really like Mordecai and Rigby. I thought they were jerks. Their stories were monotonous at a young age as well. I also had a problem with them overhyping anything mundane. I see now that they’re supposed to be depicted as losers, but it didn’t really change how I felt about them. It’s supremely surprising to me that out of the three big Cartoon Network shows at the time, this show was the only one to get a movie. I started binge-watching this show to catch up with what I missed. At first, the experience was okay. I was nostalgic about most of the episodes and I thought some of the humor was funny, especially the jokes that flew over my head as a kid. Then the show started hitting a wall. Mordecai and Rigby were becoming straight-up detestable people. Then the grand supernatural/sci-fi plots were replaced with more mundane plots. I was losing interest in the show quickly, but then something interesting happened. Rigby started becoming more mature. I would’ve never thought that I would actually start liking him, but he’s shown some serious growth in the last few seasons. I was genuinely becoming proud of him. Mordecai started falling from grace too. There’s this paranoia that starts setting in on him that he’s stuck with his life and he became more relatable. He makes a lot of missteps in his romantic life, which got a bit tedious, but ended up making me feel bad for the guy when he ultimately gives up on it. I think the most interesting part is how the roles slowly start to reverse. Rigby is becoming the achiever in the group and Mordecai has to deal with the fallout of that. This movie would’ve been the perfect way to really explore this new dynamic and shape how the two would go into their final season. Instead, this movie has Rigby regress for the sake of the plot. A really messed up decision from his past has come back to haunt him. The new Rigby would’ve owned up to the mistake and reflected on how far he’s come, but we get the old Rigby in this movie. The old Rigby tries to shift blame and cover up as much as possible. The twist in this movie is obvious because it’s built on something that’s completely out of character for Mordecai and Rigby’s dynamic. The villain’s motivations for the show have been dumb for comedy, but I feel like it shouldn’t have been the case for the movie. Injecting real drama, real goals, real aspirations, and real feelings of resentment could’ve elevated the movie and have it stand out from the show. It could’ve justified the medium and actually showed me that this show is more than the formulas and tropes it sticks to. Instead, it doubled down and proved to me that it isn’t more than that.

ANY time I mention this ppl act surprised Muscle man regular show is Jewish
Tumblr media
note the dreidle sweater.
His last name is sorenstine, and at his wedding he steps on glass
youtube
Now, what I say is he is perhaps THE BEST JEWISH REP since the Nanny
he's no popular Jewish stereotypes, the weakwilled feminine looser (like in family guy). He's not greedy, and he isn't only in the background except a very special episode.
He gets to be as weird as the rest of the cast and go on most of the same adventures and all this shit regular show does.
His being Jewish is part of him it isn't the only thing

Disney Editions Deluxe
November 5, 2024
When the Disney Afternoon premiered in 1990, kids tossed their backpacks aside to watch their favorite Disney television characters. Unlike with feature films, these stars had a new adventure every weekday, and their audience journeyed with them on a daily basis. Throughout the '80s and '90s, Disney raised the bar with a lineup of innovative, high-quality television animation. The characters were endearing, the writing was clever, and the art was exceptional. Those who grew up with these characters have continued their love affairs for shows like Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, TaleSpin, and the irrepressibly beloved DuckTales, deep into adulthood. For the first time, learn the history of the Disney Afternoon shows, read interviews from the creative teams, and revel in rare, behind-the-scenes artwork, plus get the full making of story of the modern-day DuckTales series and the meta-driven Chip 'n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers film and its legacy connections to the past for a new generation of fans.

My future projects
Here are my future projects for Boomerang, Amazon Prime Video, Discovery Family & Max (streaming service) between early 2025 & late 2026.
1. Dexter’s Laboratory Season 5 (new characters being developed for Season 5 after 22 episode scripts)
2. A 2D animated direct-to-DVD & Blu-ray movie about child rights narrated by Dexter from Dexter’s Lab co-produced with UNICEF.
3. A Saturday morning cartoon based on a popular sitcom of the 1990s & the 2000s, Friends by Marta Kauffman & David Crane. The 6 main characters will be in their preteens years (ages 10 to 12) set in Central Perk & the art style will be inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky & Chris Savino in the late 1990s & the early 2000s days of Cartoon Network originals.
4. A Cartoon Network crossover show with the 2 main stars of Dexter’s Laboratory, Dexter & Dee Dee similar to the Hanna-Barbera crossover shows of the 1970s & the 1980s led by Yogi Bear.
5. A documentary style animated show about 6 preteen girls which will be a spin-off of Dexter’s Lab as the characters will be modeled after Dee Dee, Dexter’s sister.
6. A Saturday morning cartoon based on an another popular sitcom, The Big Bang Theory by Chuck Lorre & Bill Prady. The main characters will be in their preteens years (ages 10 to 12) set in Pasadena, California during the events of Young Sheldon & the art style will be inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky, Craig McCracken & Chris Savino in the late 1990s & in the early 2000s days of Cartoon Network originals, similar to the animated Friends spin-off I’ll be developing.
7. An untitled 2D animated Dexter direct-to-DVD & Blu-ray movie with Dee Dee combining the use of Flash animation & 3D cel shaded CGI.
Note: The new characters I’ll be developing will be inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky & Craig McCracken & not Pendleton Ward & J. G. Quintel.

I wonder if greater cartoon creators like Jhonen Vazquez, Alex Hirsch, J. G. Quintel, etc, watch Helluva Boss, because if they do, oohhh I so would like to see a livestream where they tell Viv personally their true opinion on the show.
I would love to see that where they finally call her out on her egotism and overratedness.

Year of the Alice Day 274
This is my first (and hopefully only) one-year project (which will be only 365 days) and this one is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland-themed.
In this pic, Molly McGee, Scratch and the Cheshire Cat celebrate Cartoon Network's 30th anniversary with Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Finn, Jake, Mordecai, Rigby, Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear with a little Chibiverse flair.
(Note #1: This is also for the 1st anniversary of The Ghost and Molly McGee.) (Note #2: I wanted to add any Mixel, Secret Squirrel, Unikitty, Flapjack, Bloo, Mao-Mao or any Cartoon Network character, but I got too lazy to do it. Sorry.)
Made with Microsoft Paint.
Enjoy! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

The finished $90M HBO Max movie Batgirl has been shelved so Warner Bros could take the tax write off.  Also the finished $40M Scoob! Holiday Haunt.  Also HBO Max TV shows Gordita Chronicles and J. G. Quintel’s Close Enough.  Also cancelled pretty much everything on TBS, TNT and The CW.  Speculation has other projects, Green Lantern Corps, Black Canary, Blue Beetle, Zatana, Static Shock and others quietly canceled. Probably also HBO Max’s Velma. Seems like new boss David Zaslav doesn't like anything that could be considered diverse.  Turning hundreds of millions of dollars worth of projects into Tax Write-Offs sounds like Tax Evasion, Fraud and Corporate Malpractice.  #FireDavidZaslav   #SaveBatgirl   #SaveScoobHolidayHaunt #scoobHolidayHaunt #Batgirl #scoobydoo #velma #velmahbomax #DavidZaslov #BlackCanary #BlueBeetle #BlackCanaryMovie #BlueBeetleMovie #Racism #GorditaChronicles #CloseEnough #jgquintel #regularshow #taxvasion #fraud #corporatemalpractice #staticshock #greenlanterncorps #zatana  (at Portland, Oregon) https://www.instagram.com/p/CgzLZYuLVfa/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
