People love to compare Roy and Bradley or Ling and Wrath, but I think there is a special beauty in the narrative parallels between Riza and Winry.
Because these woman manage to break out of the Shounen mold in a way that reaches beyond the Strong Female Character trope and quickly secures itself as... good character writing. Period.
And they do so in a very clever way. Someone else on here once pointed out that Hughes/Mustang/Hawkeye are the trio that runs parallel to Ed/Al/Winry and while they aren't narrative foils to each other - at least not in the way many of the other characters are - they do present a similar function within the story. The three young people who went on an adventure. Only Hughes died and Riza and Roy were permanently altered - and Ed, Al, and Winry got a chance to save the world.
But especially when it comes to Riza and Winry there is something more to the comparison. Especially when it comes down to the choices they made.
But why are Riza and Winry more interesting?
Because when Roy recruits Ed and Al, Riza tells Winry that she followed Roy into the military because she had someone to protect - and this - in other stories - would clearly be a setup for Winry later following Ed and Al into the military to "protect" them. A direct parallel between the two "girls" in a Shounen trio. We've all seen it before.
And I think we see Winry play with that thought when she sticks around Central with them after her first apprenticeship in Rush Valley - she tries to be the third girl to Ed and Al's action duo… but it doesn't work out.
She - strong, clever, genius, confidant Winry Rockbell - suddenly feels weak. Because she can't punch danger away from Ed. She can't repair Al's scratches and dents. She can't kill Scar to save her friends and avenge her family. She can't learn how to shoot and kill just to protect her friends - no, that's not quite correct, is it? She won't. She won't learn how to kill.
And that sucks. Because Winry isn't used to feeling like that, so lost and insecure, at least not constantly. Yeah, when Ed and Al are away, she worries, and that's part of the reason why she tried to join in, but that is nothing compared to the powerlessness she's facing now. Maybe she would worry less if she could be there when they fight, if she could protect them like Riza does with Mustang… but that's just not who she is.
Her job isn't to protect Ed and Al - her job is to give people arms and legs and good costumer service. I really like that scene/episode (23, me thinks) where she gets a phone call from Rush Valley and all these people ask for her to come back. Because Yes, Ed telling her thanks for helping him is VERY important for her character… and yet I think this phone call is the moment Winry realizes that she's not Riza. That she won't take a gun into her hands and kill for Ed and Al.
She will never be Armstrong or Hawkeye or even Izumi… she will be Winry Rockbell, automail engineer and genius.
And that's the reason why only she could have pulled Scar on their side. Because she chose healing over killing - her telling Scar in Baschool that she'd save his life because her parents would want her to honor their choice? That was Winry following the deeper themes of the show, by adding positive energy to the flow of the universe.
Riza saving Scar? Wouldn't have worked (why would he listen to the woman with a gun in her hands?). Armstrong helping Scar? Wouldn't have happened (what reason would General Armstrong have at this point to spare a murderer?). Mei saving Scar? Would have ended with the Ed/Marcoh/Scar/Al alliance falling apart (it is so much easier to fall apart if no one has been forced to see past the horror yet).
And it's not because these characters were even a touch less well written than Winry - if anything it showcases how unique all of the female characters in FMA were/are.
In this we find Riza again - because Riza chose differently than Winry. She followed Roy into the military, she learned and perfected how to shoot and kill. Their narratives mirror each other - Ed carefully prying a gun out of Winry's hands so she doesn't kill, only to give Riza a bloody gun a few episodes later, knowing she will clean it and use it to kill.
When Riza tells us that she has lost the right to feel squeamish about killing because of often she'd pulled the trigger, she is Winry's foil - Winry who was stopped before she could make a similar choice.
And it's not just that, is it?
Riza let her hair grow because a young Winry Rockbell had long hair and seemed to like it - and Riza needed a change after coming back from Ishval.
Winry got her ears pierced because the strong Lieutenant visiting them had looked cool (and because she needed a place for all of Ed's little gifts) - and Winry needed something steadfast, now that her friends were growing up.
There's just something about the two of them, so similar, so loyal and stubborn and full of love, that fascinates me. Because at every turn they make a different choice, at each turn one walks deeper into hell and the other chooses healing - and yet, while they couldn't be more different, they also couldn't be any closer.
I can't imagine how glad Riza was, when she realized Winry hadn't followed Ed and Al into the military.
I can only guess how happy Winry was, when she saw Riza follow Mustang further if only to make sure the future actually changed.
A mirror doesn't have to be a perfect thing, and if anything I think that is on purpose.

Just Thinking
With everything Lin’s been through I’m surprised she never had an Azula-esque mental breakdown.
This woman had an absent father, a neglectful mother, basically had to raise her sister because Toph wouldn’t then got her face sliced open by said sister. Her sister leaves after that and then her mom leaves about (guessing here) a year or so afterwords and just hangs out in a swamp. She joins the police to impress her mother and goes on to become the chief and her mom still doesn’t care.
Her job is immensely stressful, her friends are across the world ( Izumi is in the fire nation, Kya is traveling, Bumi is in the UF) and she gets left by Tenzin (who she’s probably known and been friends with since infancy) for a younger woman.
Presumably there would also be the pressure of the Beifong name and title and the maintenance of the estate after her grandparents die because I don’t see Toph handling that. Additionally all of her mentors either die or move away from the city (Aang dies, Sokka dies, Zuko is in the fire nation, Katara moves to the south) . Obviously we know from the show she handles her emotions poorly and bottles them up. We also know that she’s kind of socially-awkward at times like Azula.
Then we get into the issues of each season. RC already has organized crime that she has to fight to take down then the avatar lands on her door step and destroys public property and agitates the equalist situation. Then Lin looses her job which she has dedicated her entire life to. Outside of her job she doesn’t have a lot going for her. Then she sacrifices herself to save the family of the guy that cheated on her and looses her bending in the process. That must be soul crushing and no one shows up to save her or support her in her time of need.
Season two she has to deal with the attacks in RC and deal with her detective being falsely accused and then with the spirit vines overtaking her city.
Season Three she has to protect the avatar from a terrorist group and is forced to see her sister after thirty years. This experience is obviously super overwhelming for her and then she’s pressured into meeting all these new people (our girl is an introvert). Additionally the stress of her job is physically taking a toll on her as seen throughout the episode. She goes to get acupuncture which resurfaces all of her old painful memories and then when she has an outburst ( understandable she’s going through a lot) everyone is mad at her. ( I have so much more to say about this but I don’t want this post to be a novel) . The battle with the Red Lotus: she was nearly killed and she watched P’Li die. that had to be gory. Even if Lin has seen a lot of death that’s a VERY gruesome way to go.
Season four is obviously stressful for her but there’s particular instances that stick out here: Toph hiding who her dad was just to go and tell Bolin ( this must’ve been so immensely hurtful for Lin: think about it she didn’t even know her dad was from the fire nation until her mom casually told Bolin, that means Lin went fifty four years not even knowing her ethnicity ) . But also the way that after everything Toph’s done she’s just expected to forgive her ? And Lin is so incredibly self-sacrificing that she just swallows her own feelings and does.
Here are the things that really irk me the most
Circling back to season three: “Bitter loner who only cares about herself. No wonder Tenzin ended things with you years ago”
Wow, just wow this is so genuinely awful. But also untrue. Lin has made so many sacrifices, she’s put her life on the line multiple times for Korra and had her bending ripped away from her while protecting Korra.
Bringing up Tenzin was a low blow and so immature of Su.
Lin is so forgiving and no one appreciates her or acknowledges the tremendous amount of pain they put her in.
Also Lin has massive scars on her face. She has to see those every day. That has to take a toll on her self esteem. Not only that they look painful and deep. For all we know she could have sensitivity or be completely numb in that area.
This pisses me off the most: Toph could feel everything through the vines apparently so that means she knew when Lin lost her bending but she didn’t show up for her. Realizing this broke my heart for Lin.
In conclusion Lin has been through a lot. She is traumatized. Yeah she’s grumpy and she has outbursts and she cries in the Zafou episodes but none of this feels like a proportional response to everything she’s been through . I don’t think she as a character can heal until she really processes things and lets it all out but all we see is her continuing to work and heap more pressure on herself. That isn’t sustainable and eventually will create consequences much worse than what we’ve already seen.
I see parallels between her and Azula ( I won’t get into it) and with the strained relationship Lin has with Toph I could see her having an Azula-moment.

Who the Heck is This Izumi Chick?!
Besides just being the club mama….
First off, she seems like a kind person and as Kamiya stated, definitely not suited to be wrapped up in the Yakuza-girly lifestyle. I'm going to throw out a few speculations as to what her relationship to Doumeki could be and her importance to the plot. These ideas are based off of theories I have read and my own thoughts/interpretations :)
Doumeki's confidant/friend This does seem out of character for Doumeki but I'll list it as a possibility anyway. Maybe they're just friends and he confides in her about emotional things, his past?. Maybe she knows about everything that happened four years ago. She seems to know things about Doumeki that other characters don't. Like how she seemed confused when Kamiya referred to Doumeki as her boyfriend in Ch. 54. Not to mention that Kamiya says "He's always going over to your house" now I know D doesn't like sex that much, lol - at least with people who aren't Y. And he did mention he usually takes care of that himself. Think about it, if they were just sleeping together or in a relationship, there wouldn't be so much ambiguity surrounding their association with each other - Sensei has ofc done this purposefully! She wouldn't be acting so "weird" about it, if you ask me. Maybe she knows Aoi or helps D keep tabs on his family and gets money to them. idk idk idk, ahhhh! OOOO maybe when after kamiya left and izumi repeated to herself his words, "Not suited, huh." It was something she heard before from someone - D maybe? what could this meannn. What other reason could D have for visiting her all of the time? Do you think she's seen him smile? That would be adorable if it was a friendship. It would definitely be nice, but this is my theory that I think is the most off and doesn't fit the plot/characters. womp womp.
Secret tattoo Artist Not very likely Imo, I feel like a person would have come to the house (I'm not familiar with where irezumi is normally done in the yakuza) to do D's tattoo or he would go to the same person who did Tsukanawa's. I'm not sure if he got the tattoo after he saved Niki - I'm pretty sure he did - but maybe Tsukanawa and the others suggested he get one after his noble feat? Like an emblem. Maybe Tsukanawa offered to pay for it? Also, I saw a post on here that said D's tattoo didn't look finished yet, but I disagree. If that were so, I think Y would have mentioned it or something - or maybe it would be more obvious to the reader that it is still in progress. Y just says, "he went and got a back tattoo" and not something like "The idiot's got a half-baked tattoo on his back." AND if she did tattoos, I'm sure it wouldn't be a secret to everyone else. AND if the reason D was over her apartment all of the time was because of his tattoo that wouldn't make sense because you need time to heal between sessions and his back would be protected with something if he was.
Sex Buddy (turned friend) I could definitely see D attempting to get over Y in some way over the 4 years they were apart - albeit clinging onto hope that one day - somehow - they would reconnect. And during that period, I can imagine him experimenting with another person to "get over" Y (as if) or just to explore his own sexuality in a healthy way - especially as he matured and formed his own identity separate from Y. Maybe it started as sex, and they became friends? I still don't know though, because he is so terrified of being a rapist like his dad with Y, so it's also hard to imagine him - pardon my language - dominating a woman like that. Especially if what happened with Aoi still lingers in his mind. Even though Y tried to comfort him I'm sure he still feels the guilt. Saving Niki may have helped his guilt though - finally being able to successfully protect someone he cares for. ALSO, D denies having a woman when asked by Tsukanawa several times, but when Y assumes he has a woman during their encounter in Ch. 46 he confirms that he does. which is it Doumeki? Sounds suspicious to me. And it's not as if he is too shy to tell his boss that he has a woman, I mean he told Tsukanawa about his jerking off habits soooo.... I think he said this to make Y jealous - he was even looking away from Y with his head hung down as he answered the question...
Plot Driver Assuming my first theory to be true: Maybe something happens with the yakuza plot to where D is in a really bad situation (about the money he stole, Misumi, involvement with Y, disobeying Tsukanawa, current group drama, etc) and Izumi is the one to offer up crucial information about his past that ends up helping him?
A query... In Ch. 46 Izumi asks Kamiya not to spread around rumors of her and D's assumed relationship status because it might cause trouble. My question is why? What kind of trouble? Why would them dating be an issue? Thoughts?
Please share your thoughts also! And be well people <3
Disclaimer: These are purely my own ideas/theories/opinions, and they are all most likely incorrect lol. I'm just having fun speculating about what's to come :D

Villain Izuku X Shy Female Reader
A/N: Izuku is basically Shigaraki but, with more connections and power
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You love your husband to death you really do but, sometimes you wonder how did you end up being the wife of the most dangerous criminal in all of Asia? It was unheard of especially with your personality. You were the complete opposite of Izuku or his codename 'Deku". While he was cold, ruthless, murdered with no hesitation, and committed robbery, kidnappings, torture, and domestic violence you were docile and always brought the sweet side that no one except you knew existed. He used to keep you hidden and you used to believe it was because he was ashamed that he's the epitome of a villain and he ended up with such a soft-spoken, awkward, stuttering docile woman such as yourself. Well, you thought it wasn't going to last and he was going to kill you within the first week but, here you were seven years later with a ring on your finger watching your four-year-old twins and no stuttering problem. Yes. You gave Izuku children and he adored them just as much as he adored you.
"Mama." You turned to look at your girl Izumi who was born first. She was the spitting image of her father from the wild dark green hair to the red eyes and freckles however, she had your personality and was very docile. Her brother Kusan looked like you except he also had red eyes and he was a mix of both you and his father. He was quiet but was not hesitant in punching someone in the face if any of his daycare stories were anything to go by. Honestly, your children were almost polar opposites but, they complimented each other so well and they were both your husband and your own light
"Come here, baby." With zero hesitation she got up and climbed into your lap snuggling into your chest. She was your hugger and you were more than happy to indulge her. Kusan wasn't exactly a fan of hugs but never complained per se whenever you did initiate a hug or asked for one. He was going to grow up and be just like his dad. You felt your daughter snuggle into your chest more which meant she had something on her mind "What's the matter 'zumi?" She hugged tighter before sighing and pulling away a bit to look up at you
"Why is daddy always so busy?" You gave her a closed-off smile running your hand through her hair trying to tame her untameable curls. How were you supposed to go into depth to your four-year-old that her daddy was the strongest villain in Asia and he had a lot of shit to do to keep his family safe?
"Well a lot of people don't like daddy and in turn don't like us. He disappears a lot to protect us from those people who want to hurt us." You hoped to put her at ease and it seemed to work until Kusan spoke up
"What would happen if one of them got past him?" You looked at him not bothered by the question at all. He was only four and it was okay to be worried about daddy and those you love as well
"Well we always got your aunts and uncles but, if push comes to shove I'll protect the both of you with my life." You gave them both a very open grin and when you got an armful of your second child you weren't complaining. They knew you weren't lying. They remember somewhat of a man who was trying to kidnap them when they were two and before Izuku can activate one of his quirks you were on both of them their throats slashed in a blink of an eye and your babies in your arm the next second. Safe to say you almost had baby #3 and he asked to marry you again. You smiled softly at the memory and as you looked down at their relaxed and peaceful faces you knew you'll kill a million people if it meant keeping them safe.
"I see that they're asleep." If you weren't so used to your husband popping up out of nowhere you would have jumped out of your skin. However, he was Izuku the man you've known for 10 years and married to for 7 so there wasn't much that he could scare you with.
"Yeah, Izumi was asking me why you're always so busy and I told them that you're just making sure we are safe. I made a promise too that if there comes a time you don't make it I'll protect them for life." He simply stared before giving you that private smile that he only lets you see. It wasn't the malicious grin or smirk, the angry scowl, grimace, frown, or gritted teeth. No this was a genuine smile that can full anyone into believing he was one of the good guys. It was fine though with you. Let them be fooled it was kind of funny when they thought he was some sort of bad boy but, he turns out to be more than they bargained for.
"That's something that doesn't need to be worried about. I'll always be there even when I'm not." He made his way over to you giving his twins a kiss before planting a soft one on your lips. It was always so nice when he was like this. It was moments like this that made you forget that every hero on the continent was looking for him, that other villains wanted his head served on a silver platter, and that Deku wasn't used as scary stories to straighten out unruly kids. No. He was simply Izuku a man who got the short end of the stick time and time again when he was a kid and the death of his mother is what finally made him snap. You pulled away from the kiss giving him a genuine smile which earned you a pat on the cheek "Put them in the playpen and follow me." You did as told getting up carefully and placing your sleeping children into the playpen watching in amusement as they rolled over and clung to each other.
"They're going to be a force to be reckoned with one day." You heard Izuku grunt in agreement behind you feeling his hand slip into yours and pull you toward wherever the two of you were going. You had time to mull over a lot of things but, one thing always stayed the same. There was no place you would rather be.

Alright, chapter 54 of Saezuru.
Some really interesting developments this chapter, I think.
The first thing I want to talk about is the bar maid, who we finally get a name for, Izumi. What struck me this chapter was the parallel that seems to be drawn between her and Yashiro. We see her protesting Kamiya beating up the guy who stole the money from the bar, and see that she's being made very uncomfortable by the display of violence. She later asks Kamiya to forgive him. What I noticed here was what Kamiya says to her then, about this life not "suiting her" and telling her she's "too kind". That's exactly what Ryuuzaki said about Yashiro once. The life of a Yakuza, a violent life, doesn't suit either Izumi, or Yashiro. Yashiro is ALSO too kind. He can't ever bring himself to be ruthless the way one really needs to be to make it in that world. There's countless examples of this throughout the story, of Yashiro not being able to just turn his back on others, not being able to abandon anyone, always helping others, even at his own expense, etc... I've talked before about Yashiro's feminine qualities, and why I think he's fearful of admitting to Doumeki that he wants to be treated gently, because it recalls for him what his step-father used to say to him about really "being a woman". If Yashiro admits that he doesn't like to be treated roughly, or violently, if he admits he doesn't like being abused, it's like admitting his step-father was right about him. When you really think about Yashiro's coping mechanism, this persona he's built for himself of being a masochist, and you put it into context with what his step-father used to tell him about himself, it makes all the more sense why Yashiro clung to that persona for so long. It was an attempt to free himself from the idea of being a victim, but also an attempt to prove his step-father wrong. We later see Inami calling Yashiro a "masochist freak", too. I feel like Yoneda is drawing a deliberate parallel here between Yashiro and Izumi. Kamiya confronts her about being Doumeki's girlfriend, and we know Yashiro is also under the impression that Doumeki is with her romantically, and that he's secretly been longing for Doumeki to treat him with the same gentility and kindness that he's observed him treating her with. I think Yoneda is kind of suggesting here again that Yashiro is very much like a woman in his sensibilities, in his temperament, in his desires.
That's not to say Yashiro is transgender. I don't think that. He wasn't meant to be a woman, like his step-father told him, and he doesn't feel like he's in the wrong body. But what he does share in common with a woman, like Izumi, is that he doesn't belong or fit into a world of violence and this sort of toxic, masculine behavior that's so prevalent in and among the yakuza. There's a reason everyone in that world has always treated Yashiro the way they do. They view him I think, in some ways, like he's a woman. That might be why they don't consider it "gay" when they use him for sex. Because they've designated him almost like he's some sort of female object to be used and abused in whichever ways they like. Ryuuzaki even asked Yashiro, famously, if he ever wished he was a woman, and Yashiro told him no, but then said he thinks it would be easier if he was, because it wouldn't be so difficult for him to have sex with men. Yashiro is gay, but he wants to have a relationship with another man that, generally, he believes, would more resemble a man's relationship with a woman. He once thought about knowing the pain of a man loving another man. That pain being one he was, tragically, intimately familiar with at that point. Yashiro associates brutality and rape with gay relationships, because that's all he's ever really known. Yashiro is a gay man with feminine sensibilities, but even those who recognized that, like Ryuuzki, wished he were a woman, so he could "protect" him. This is the kind of message Yashiro's been getting his whole life. He's a man, so he gets abused by other men, and he could only get what he really wants, that is, to be treated gently, if he were a woman. But being a woman would mean his step-father was right about him. So he finds himself in sort of this no-mans land, where he he isn't really a man or a woman. Again, instead, he ends up feeling like he's some sort of deformed monster or alien that doesn't fit anywhere. The truly heartbreaking thing about all of that, of course, is that it continues to perpetuate and reinforce for Yashiro exactly the sorts of things his step-father used to say to him, and what his step-father made him believe about himself. That there's something wrong with him. I feel like all of this is going to come to a head at some point. With Doumeki becoming more and more firmly entrenched in the world of the yakuza, and us as an audience being given more and more clues about Yashiro's own lack of compatibility with that same world, eventually something's going to have to give. I truly believe that Yashiro can't remain a yakuza, or even connected to the yakuza, and ever really find happiness, or contentment. Living in that world, in that environment, surrounded by those kinds of people, makes it impossible for Yashiro to ever, truly be himself, or to discover who he really even is.
Anyway, about Inami. I think he showed that video to Doumeki just to sow discord between him and Yashiro. Inami is a genuine sadist. He's someone who just wants to and enjoys hurting people. He's trying to upset Doumeki by showing him the video of him raping Yashiro, and then expressing how much fun he gets out of doing it. He tells Doumeki that Yashiro is impotent and that doing it with him equates, essentially, to rape, which he says is "too good" to just call "killing time". He's saying that he enjoys raping Yashiro to the point that it's an activity he wants to seek out and continue with. And then he suggests to Doumeki that Yashiro is having sex with both of them as a means of hurting himself. He calls Yashiro a "masochist freak" and tells Doumeki that he comes to him after having sex with Doumeki because he isn't satisfied with just one man raping him. In Inami's sick and twisted mind, he thinks this is what Yashiro wants. He's projecting his own perversions onto Yashiro. What's interesting here is what Doumeki will do with this information. Because Inami doesn't know that Yashiro isn't impotent when he's with Doumeki, but he's just revealed to him that Yashiro seeks him out as a means of punishing, or hurting, himself, or so he believes. He tells Doumeki to make sure Yashiro is "good and satisfied" next time, since "that isn't working anymore". I think what Inami means here is that he thinks Yashiro is becoming more extreme in his masochism, needing MORE punishment to get it up, but it's really the opposite. And I think maybe Doumeki is going to realize what Inami doesn't. Maybe Doumeki will put two and two together and realize that Yashiro's impotence is a result of him no longer enjoying that kind of rough treatment, and maybe from there, he'll start to realize what it is Yashiro really wants.
Just to end this on, I loved how Yashiro was on to that waiter watching them. Can't fool this dude for anything, haha. His entire interaction with Nanahara was great this chapter. They really do just come across as friends. Yashiro laughing at Nanahra's suit getting messed up, seeming to abandon him to fight those thugs by himself, but coming back for him and then helping to get him patched up afterward. But they always have each others backs, in their own ways.

If Yoshino dies during childbirth and she could've survived if she aborted the baby, in your opinion how would Ibuki react to Yoshino's death and the birth of his daughter all together and what do you think would Ibuki do to the child? For me I think he'll just abandon the child because you know
Interesting~
I've read a fanfic similar to this. Tbh, there can be more than one scenarios. Demons in this world are said to be fickle creatures and they don't feel parental love. Despite all of this, we still see Kurama showing affection towards Izumi in the form of training so that he can live on his own when turns into an adult. He tells that its because Izumi looks like Yoshino but I still think he cares for Izumi.
Ibuki, well, he more...dangerous than Kurama but I think he can understand human emotions better than Kurama. Now coming to his child. The first case scenario will be the best case scenario and that is, Ibuki will love the child because it's made by him and his girlfriend. But life can't be easy so, second scenario will be according to this fanfic I read months ago. In this fanfic, Yoshino and Ibuki have 3 children (all boys), but when Yoshino was pregnant with their 3rd child at the age of 40, her body didn't have the physical strength to give birth to a demon child. So Ibuki wanted to:
Abort the child all together to save Yoshino or,
Bring Yoshino back to life in any form possible by using the 3rd child as a sacrifice.
Yoshino understands how Ibuki feels, but she doesn't want to go with either options. She cares about her child more so she is ready to give birth even if she dies and she also have to make arrangements before she dies so that Ibuki doesn't kill their 3rd child. So she asks Akihito and Yasuchika in advance, to protect her. She tells Akihito to play Shoji with Ibuki and for every time Akihito wins, Ibuki will have to spend time with their children as a punishment. She is doing this so that Ibuki would eventually love their kids and would give up on the idea of sacrificing them. She also told her older kids to protect the 3rd baby from their father and teaches them in everyway to fight back their father if he comes to attack them or kidnap the 3rd child. Does Ibuki know about her plans? Yes, he does. But he still doesn't stop her. He will play with Akihito and for every time he loses, he will play with the 3rd child, all for Yoshino's sake. God I love that fanfic! There is also a line where Ibuki touches Yoshino's swollen belly and says "You're so cute, but you won't do anything scary----like taking Yoshino away from me, right?"
Now what I can take from this fanfic is that:
If Yoshino knows that she will die while giving birth to their daughter and if there is no other way, then will willingly accept her death because that's the kind of woman she is. If Ibuki is showing moments of going completely crazy, she will ask Akihito and Yasuchika to protect their child at any cost. If Ibuki sees the child, instead of killing her, he might harass her or in his language 'play with her' as way to get revenge for killing Yoshino. If the child turned out to be like Yoshino, for example, if the child has Yoshino's smile, or Yoshino's face, then he might.....come to love her.
My third scenario is he would straight-up kill the child and start destroying the world and create havoc everywhere until he dies. Because there is no Yoshino.
In anyways, I don't think it's Ibuki's characteristics to abandon something. He will either destroy it or come to love it. Abandoning something is boring.

Watch as Midoriya’s future continues  to unfold, as she learns more about her family, society and herself.

“Holy crap,” Izumi stared at the screen. “We just tied?! We just did that?!” she couldn’t believe it. She’d almost beat Todoroki, who had such a powerful Quirk. They tied because both fainted.
She helped Todoroki; she helped him learn how to use his fire. It made her feel good. Heroic, brave. She couldn’t help her cheerful laughter as Tomoe cheered while Shouta shook his head with a smile and Hizashi whooped.
 She had done it.
Around Japan, people cheered for both competitors. They had a fantastic fight, and while both tied, they’d also showed skill beyond most their age. It was amazing.
Endeavour smiled at the screen, proud his masterpiece had managed what he did, though he was furious that it was a tie. Perhaps when Shouto beat Midoriya in the tiebreaker-
His office door opened, and Nara, his Hero Commission friend, entered the room.
“Nara?” Endeavour asked, confused. The man looked at him apologetically as a few other agents entered.
“Todoroki Enji?” Nara began, still looking apologetic, though his voice had a cut of anger. He was angry, angry at Endeavour for ruining their plans! The stupid screen had tripped them up, but damn it, Nara had been banking on Endeavour training up his son to be a perfect number two. Another rivalry, just like the one with All Might and Endeavour, but between Hawks and the Shouto kid! It would have been fantastic, a true story for the ages, but NO. Endeavour had to be caught overtraining his kid and smacking his wife. Nara just hoped they could come up with some excuse. The woman falling and hitting her face against Endeavour’s hand? No, no, only a dumbass would believe that. “Your hero license has been temporarily revoked, and your custody over Todoroki Shouto and Todoroki Rei has been removed until an investigation is carried out.”
“What?!” Endeavour stood up but stopped as one of the agents stepped forward, a blue shield appearing to protect the others. They thought… they thought he would hurt them? How…
Todoroki Enji sat back down, staring at the agents moved around his office, one unplugging his computer to take the modem with them. What the hell was happening?
Elsewhere, Dabi scowled bitterly. Fucking tie, huh? Piece of shit, brat, still getting all the fucking attention. Oh, look, they tied. Big fucking DEAL. If he were in Shouto’s place, he’d have beaten Midoriya and would have won it all—weak little brat.
Dabi shoved his hands into his pockets and stomped off, ignoring the people talking around him. He didn’t want to think about it.
“So much blood!” Himiko cooed as she skipped down the street. It was all so pretty and perfect. Izu-chan looked so lovely covered in blood Himiko wanted to lick it all off. She bet it would taste good, and ooh, could she… Himiko blushed, her thoughts turning dirtier as she giggled. She couldn’t wait to meet Izu-chan! They would be so cute together, wouldn’t they? Himiko smiled dreamily as she imagined all they could do.
In the classroom, the future hero students happily cheered on Todoroki, who was smiling a little. He had his Quirk active, ice in one hand and a small fire in the other.
“Go Todobro!” Kirishima cheered as Ashido did a bit of a dance. All the while, Nemuri watched in amusement, dropping her Midnight persona. She was proud of these kids. They were celebrating not just the fight but Todoroki’s acceptance of his own Quirk. It was beautiful to see them smiling.
She hoped they kept smiling as she checked her phone to see Nezu informing her that Monoma would join their class next week, along with the news Endeavour lost custody. There would be an investigation, but Nemuri knew how it would probably go. He would be found guilty, but his record of heroics would mean he’d get probation working as a hero. He’d be removed from the ranking system, wouldn’t be allowed the perks of a hero, and would probably get a pay cut due to his family wealth.
It wasn’t fair. He deserved jail, but they couldn’t have a good hero be removed from the ranks. After all, most younger heroes were now glory hogs more interested in fame than work. Removing Endeavour would cause issues as the heroes around him would suddenly face incidents they had never encountered before.
Maybe it would be good to shake things up a bit, more than this viewing would do already, but Nemuri wasn’t sure if it was the best option. As she watched the kids and thought, the timer ticked down to start the next episode.
The screen shows the stadium of fans all talking to one another.
“That was CRAZY!” one woman says to her neighbour. “Those two are crazy strong!”
“I know, right?” the other says. “I was rooting for them both!”
“Midoriya got hurt a bit,” a hero says to his friend. The other shrugs.
“Yeah, but it was obvious she was pushing herself. Did you hear some of her comments before the mics blew? Todoroki was holding back, and now he pulls out the fire? She was trying to get him to stop.” The man nods. “Good on her. Being a hero means you can’t half-ass it. If Todoroki isn’t willing to go all out and actually use his full Quirk, he shouldn’t be a hero in the first place.”
Shouto winced, letting his Quirk die. He had been a bit of an idiot, hadn’t he? To stuck in his head and beliefs…
He was still scared and nervous about what would happen next, but he was also hopeful. Midoriya changed his life and showed him a new way to do things. He would take advantage of that ability to be better.
In her hospital room, Rei shook her head. If her son needed that fire, he shouldn’t be a hero! That fire was bad, dangerous! It wasn’t good, and she felt so sad he’d used it!
 Just like his father.
“She’s also a late bloomer, so it makes sense she was a little hurt.” Agrees another hero.
“What do you think, Jack?” the first asks a fourth hero—the hero Jack in the Box, who hums.
“I think she’s got talent. She’s also a mom, though, so who knows how far she’s going to go in heroics.” He says. “She might not get that high up.”
“Eh, you never know,” voiced another hero.
The screen shows the infirmary where Midoriya and Todoroki are, both being looked over by Recovery Girl.
“Well, you didn’t break your fingers that badly… but don’t do it on purpose again!” the tiny hero scolds Midoriya. “And you! Use your fire more; I see a drastic change in your core temperature with you having actually used it!”
“I need to look at that boy,” Recovery Girl said as she wrote that down. How much damage did his pride do to the boy that he was harming himself? Teenagers think they know everything. The boy could have died from being too cold at his core, and yet it wasn’t on his mind. She didn’t blame young Todoroki, but if he had wanted to rebel that badly, going off to be anything but a hero would have worked better.
 “Yes, ma’am,” Todoroki says.
“I won’t. One time thing to get him to use his fire,” Midoriya says. Todoroki shrugs, looking a little amused. “How are my legs?”
“They look good,” Recovery Girl says. “I’ll get you both a change of clothes. Normally, we’d hold a tiebreaker after the next event, but with the damage you two caused and the fact you both just needed a kiss and a quick jolt of energy…” she shrugged. “We’ll do it now.”
“Oh, we got some energy?” Midoriya asks curiously. Recovery Girl chuckles.
“How do you think we get all you kids up and running so fast after your battles? We used to have a nurse who’d come in and give you some help during this time, but her daughter is here taking it over. She’s a business student.” Recovery Girl explains. She walks away, shaking her head.
Said nurse, a woman who went by the title Nurse Joy in her work as a hero nurse, smiled at the screen. Her daughter didn't want to be a nurse or hero, but it made her happy to see that she was thriving. Many people had tried to pressure the young girl into following her mother. Nurse Joy was glad her daughter had stood firm.
No one should be forced to be a hero. No one should be forced to enter any job they don't want just because a parent or society demands it.
“...Thank you,” Todoroki says. Midoriya turns to him, raising an eyebrow. “Thank you for not giving up on me.”
“I’m a single mom to a toddler. I have to be stubborn,” Midoriya tells him. She stands up from her seat. “What’s your number? I’ll add you to the group chat I have with my friends,” she says. Todoroki blinks but gets up to.
“He's making friends,” Fuyumi smiled. She was so happy her little brother was attempting to connect with others. Knowing he could one day smile with his friends made her feel relief, though some bitterness worked through her. Her brother was happy, but it took everything being exposed for it to happen.
Fuyumi had accepted nothing could be simple. They wouldn't be the happy family she wanted, not with her father willing to ruin people still. And she could admit that she'd been so desperate for a happy ending that she blinded herself. She wanted a happy family, and it was ripped from her. She remembered being happy… of sorts.
When she hadn't had to raise her siblings. When she could focus on herself more before Mom got worse.
Natsuo was first, the first kid Fuyumi half-raised.
Shouto was the second. The one she mostly raised other than when Endeavour trained him into the ground. God, she had been so blind to the truth of everything because admitting how messed up their family was would ruin her wishes.
Fuyumi smiled at the screen. She would move on. She would hopefully get custody of Shouto; they would make it out okay.
 They had to.
“My phone is in the locker room,” he tells her. They leave the infirmary, meeting Iida, Uraraka, Asui and Aoyama outside.
“Whoa! Midoriya!” Uraraka says in relief. “You’re okay!”
“It’s good you have no serious injuries, the both of you!” Iida says with an arm chop.
“Oui, it is magnificent you managed to come out okay,” Aoyama says as Asui nods.
“It is, kero.” she agrees. Midoriya blinks and smiles at her friends.
“Thanks, guys. We have to hold a tiebreaker, so we will head to do that. Then it’ll be Shinsou and Bakugou’s fight.” she informs them. Uraraka grins.
“I hope he utterly embarrasses Bakugou when he beats him. Make him do something stupid,” she says.
“Hey!” Katsuki snarled. As if the Eyebag fucker could beat him! He'd kick the extra’s ass and prove he should be in UA!
“I’d like to see that,” Todoroki admits. The group looks at him, making him blink. He shuffles a little, looking between the group.
“We need his number for the group chat,” Midoriya says.
“The Lady Knights and the Dudes in Distress, kero?” Asui asks. Aoyama blinks, surprised.
“Oh, I must be in the chat, Kero,” Tsu smiled at Uraraka and Iida. Uraraka whipped out her phone instantly as Iida gave a half smile, his phone still pressed to his head.
She liked the idea of being friends with them. Tsu doubted she’d be as close as they were. The three fit together very well, stronger than the others. Perhaps all three would end up together one day? Or maybe they would be… what was the term… Queer Platonic? Tsu didn't know. She did know they just… We're friends who clicked. A strong bond between all three that would only grow.
It was beautiful. Tsu was happy just to be there. She would build her own friendships with the group, and they would bond tight, she could tell.
 She couldn't wait.
“Yeah, that one. I mean, I just saved this guy from self-destruction,” Midoriya points out. “Not using his Quirk could have been way worse after all.” The group slowly nods.
“Alright then, but the title is staying!” Uraraka says. “Hey, Aoyama, what’s your number? You’ve been deflecting some of the comments from Ojiro lately. We can put you in the chat.”
Tsu watched as Ojiro flinched. Obviously, he wasn't happy being reminded he would be a bit rude in the future. She wondered about it, wondered why he felt that Midoriya wouldn't be a good hero with a child.
There were plenty of pro-hero parents, after all.
“Oh! Merci,” Aoyama smiles. “It is no trouble. Our tailed friend has a good heart, but he is… very blinded to realities, I suppose we could say. He does seem to be realizing he is very wrong lately, however.”
“Good,” Uraraka says. Todoroki looks a bit lost, as does Midoriya, but the group slowly begins chatting, walking towards the entrance to the arena. That is when Endeavour appears from a hallway. Todoroki freezes, eyes catching the man. Midoriya pauses as well, eyes narrowing. The rest also stop, looking confused.
“Are you serious?!” Natsuo shouted. Of course, the fucker showed up. Shouto was looking happy, talking with the others, and there was Todoroki Enji, being an asshole. Ugh.
He had to ruin everything, didn't he?
In the classroom, the students shouted insults at the screen, all furious the man dared show his face around Todoroki.
 “Fuck off!” Kaminari yelled.
 “Go to hell!” Jiro snapped.
“Why does he have to ruin everything!” Ochako huffed. They'd been all so happy, laughing and having a good time, but he had to show up and ruin it. Asshole.
“Shouto!” Endeavour says, ignoring the other children. “Not going to tell me to get lost?” the man asks mockingly.
“Isn’t this a restricted area, Iida?” Midoriya asks a bit pointedly.
“... It is. Endeavour, sir, I must ask you to please leave,” Iida says slowly. He looks at Todoroki, and his eyes gain a slight glint. “Or we will need to speak to Nezu.”
“Hell yeah!” Ochako cheered. “Go Iida! Tell him off!”
“I will!” Iida promised. He didn't mention he'd probably figured it out. He had met abusive parents before, and he'd noticed. His parents and brother were talking over the phone about this, and Tenya let it wash over him. His brother was there; he was alive.
 Things would be okay.
“I’m the number two hero, and this is my son,” Endeavour says, focusing on Todoroki. “You need to learn to control your left side Shouto. It was disgraceful how you released so much energy. I’m glad you’re finally seeing reason enough to use it and abandon your childish rebellion-”
“I haven’t abandoned anything,” Todoroki says flatly. The tall hero jerks back. “You’re an idiot for thinking my feelings could be so easily reversed. I simply… forgot all about you out there while fighting.” He smirks. “I suppose I don’t need you when I can overcome my own issues without you in my mind.”
“You have us, Todoroki,” Midoriya says. “I’ve already analyzed your Quirk enough to fill twenty pages in my notebook. I’ll give it to you later.”
“I will!” Izumi said as she pulled out her notebook. Maybe she could get a good start on it and give it to Todoroki early.
 “Thank you, Midoriya,” Todoroki says.
“Oui, my Quirk hurts me, and I have plenty of suggestions to handle pain from Quirks,” Aoyama says instantly. He lacks a smile and doesn’t look at Todoroki. Instead, he is looking at Endeavour, who frowns.
“Oui! I will be able to help!” Yuuga agreed, glaring at the screen. While his parents weren’t the best, they’d never done what this monster did.
“Hey, floating stuff is great target practice!” Uraraka says, moving slightly to block the view of Todoroki.
“It is!” Ochako agreed with her on-screen self as she forced her phone into Todoroki’s hands so he could give her his number.
“And I can help with figuring out safe temperatures, kero,” Asui says. “I bet Shinsou can help with mental blocks, too, kero.”
“I can, kero,” Tsu agreed while in his school, Hitoshi nodded.
“Anything I can do so he’s not around that fucker,” he said.
“Sparring is always a good thing to do,” Iida says calmly. He’s caught on to the others and begins to motion. “Now let’s go. I wonder what sort of tiebreaker they will hold.”
 “It is!” Tenya said.
“Invite him over!” his mother demanded over the phone.
“Ah, Todoroki, my mother would like to invite you to our place. My brother is a much better teacher for sparring, and we can use the family dojo. They do not go hard,” Tenya told the dual-haired boy, who was beginning to look overwhelmed.
“Probably not an arm wrestle. I’ll beat Todoroki without my Quirk, no offence.”
“Your biceps are bigger than mine,” Todoroki tells Midoriya as the group passes Endeavour, who looks more shocked then anything a group of teenagers talked back to him. They walk away, and Todoroki doesn’t look back.
“... Did a bunch of teenagers basically tell Endeavour to fuck off?” a news reporter said to his friend. Instantly, they all began howling in laughter. It echoed around Japan; watching a group of teens trash-talk Endeavour like that had made many smiles. Dabi was laughing his ass off, mimicked by Natsuo, while Fuyumi giggled.
Yotsubashi Rikiya smirked at the screen. Seeing a group of strong Quirked users stand up for one another was nice. He glanced at his computer, where emails asking about dealing with Midoriya were. He shook his head.
The girl was a worthless Quirkless girl only useful for producing strong children. Or she had been until she got that Quirk. She wouldn’t be on the same level as him or others, given they were born with their Quirks, but she lost the useless status. He had no interest in putting her down when she would become one of them. Not as strong or as important as any of Rikiya’s followers, but still.
He smirked as an email requesting one of their plants at UA approach the girl came to his attention. She’d probably disagree with them, even after admitting she’d been worthless without a Quirk by taking One for All. However, she would be useful. A strong hero, even tangibly connected to them, would be perfect.
He’d allow it, perhaps even hope something more blooms between the agent and Midoriya. She would have strong Quriked children; she’d proved that. However, he wouldn’t be pushing for it. He despised that piece of shit who forced himself on her. Yes, she was just a Quirkless freak, but she’d been a child!
Rikiya did encourage arranged marriages among his men and did think about perfect matches, but he never required it or enforced it. He killed people who tried to force it because it should be the choice of the people getting together. Even if they only were together to have a child, Rikiya made sure it was always consensual.
Anyone trying to enforce it deserved to die.
The screen moves to the destroyed arena, where Midnight waits for them. Cementoss is waiting as well, looking around with dismay.
“These two need to work on collateral,” he says to Midnight, who snickers.
Izumi flushed as Mic agreed with the screen. Okay, they’d gone a bit overboard. It might hurt their chances at internships, wouldn’t it?
“You’re not wrong!” she says as the two walk on the field. “And here we are!” Midnight announces into her microphone. “For the tiebreaker round, we will be having rock-paper-scissors due to the strength differences!” The teenagers moved so people could see them and held out their hands. “Best two out of three!”
“Rock-paper-scissors-SHOOT!” Midoriya says, mimicked by Todoroki as the two quickly put out their options. Both chose paper. They did it again, and Midoriya crushed Todoroki’s scissors with a rock this time. The third time…
“Midoriya wins with paper!” Midnight cheers. The crowd yells in joy as Midoriya smiles at Todoroki, who grins back.
“Ha!” Dabi snorted at the screen while Izumi frowned.
“Is that fair?” she asked Shouta.
“It’s not, but it’s what we have. You’d win any arm wrestling competition, and a race would just be useless,” he explained. “Besides, luck is an essential part of heroics, even if most wouldn’t think about it.”
“Yeah,” Hizashi agreed. “While skill is always best and you shouldn’t rely on luck, it’s not something to discount.”
“Someone tripping in front of me is luck and helps me.” Shouta offered as an example. “There’s a pair of heroes in Paris who operate on luck, too. Ladybug and Chat Noir?”
“Oh! I heard about them!” Izumi said. “Ladybug can create good luck and can use any object she finds while under her power’s influence! Chat Noir can increase the bad luck of things and cause extreme bad luck to occur on objects which breaks them.” She nodded. “Don’t they say it’s the opposite in their civilian lives?”
“Correct. I met them once,” Hizashi said. “Long story, mostly classified, revolved around an international terrorist organization. But anyway, Ladybug is very unlucky when not a hero, while Chat is very lucky. They’re married and live together, so it balances out.”
“Cool,” Izumi said as Shouta shook his head.
“Not the point kid. Our point is that luck plays a huge role in a fight and pretending otherwise is dumb. It’s like how some go off about how their Quirks aren’t strong, but they worked with it when in reality…”
“Their Quirk is very strong.” Izumi nodded. “There’s no such thing as a weak Quirk, but some people just don’t admit how much their Quirk carries them.”
 “Exactly. And they’re idiots.”
“And now we’re going to let Cementoss repair the field before the next fight!” Mic says over the intercom. The screen changes to the announcer booth, where Tomoe is away and balanced on the blonde man’s lap.
“Mama!” the girl cheers. Mic laughs and turns off the microphone.
“Hey babe, will Shinsou or Bakugou win this one?” Mic asks Aizawa, who sighs.
“Depends on if Shinsou can get him talking or if Bakugou just blasts first,” Aizawa tells Mic.
“Luck and timing again,” Shouta said. “Can Shinsou snatch Bakugou before the blonde moves, or will he fail?”
“Huh… like Yaoyorozu then. She was too slow because Tokoyami was lucky enough to catch her off balance,” Izumi said with a nod.
 “Exactly.”
“...Well, guess we’ll have to see.” the voice hero says as the camera moves back to Midoriya and her friends.
“I’m going to leave Tomoe with our teachers. I’m betting Shinsou wins,” Midoriya says.
“No bet. Shinsou just needs to mention you, and Bakugou will go off,” Uraraka laughs.
“Fuck you, Round Face!” Katsuki shouted at the screen bitterly. They were all wrong; he was going to win. He’d prove he deserved UA, and Deku would feel bad for dismissing him. She would make moves to apologize, and he would string her along before accepting. It had to happen.
A phone rings, and Iida pauses. He reaches into his pocket to pull out his phone.
“Ah, my mother,” he answers it. “Mother-”
“Tenya!” the panicked voice says. “Your brother is in the hospital! He was attacked by the hero killer!”
Iida drops his phone, eyes widening in horror as his friends turn to him worriedly.
“No…” Iida says just as the screen goes to show a hospital. A woman who looks like Iida has her phone to her ear, looking worried.
“I don’t want to see this,” Mrs. Iida whimpered. Iida Tsunami was a strong woman who’d faced countless horrors before. Yet she didn’t want to see her baby boy hurt. Her husband Haku hugged her as they watched the screen.”
 “Tenya? Tenya?” she asks.
“He probably dropped his phone,” a man says. He resembles the engine using student as well. “Love, it’ll be-”
“Don’t say that Haku!” the woman retorts. “Our eldest is in surgery because of a psychopath, and our youngest isn’t answering his phone!” she shouts.
“Mrs. Engine? Mr. Engine?” a new voice says. A person walks into the room, dressed in hospital-issued clothing. Their hands are red from being scrubbed.
“ID,” Tensei said. They stayed; they were still there. They looked a mess but were still there.
Tenya clutched his phone, feeling a burning pit of anger in his stomach. Info Dropper was there when his brother required surgery, but not Tenya. They didn’t deserve to be there after what they put Tensei through! Tenya remembered the arguments and the crying. Tensei looked like a wreck when Info Dropper broke his heart! They shouldn’t be there!
“ID,” says Mr. Iida. It’s the hero on the scene of the attack. “How are you, dear?”
“I’m fine,” ID says. They swallow. “More or less. Did Speedy-”
“Mother?” Mrs. Iida’s phone says, and she turns to it. Mr. Iida and ID step away from her.
“How are you, sir?” ID asks. He shakes his head, running a hand through his buzz cut.
“Could be better. And knock it off, ID. Call me your old nickname for me, at least,” he tells them.
“Wasn’t sure if I still had the right. Engine Boy and I didn’t part on great terms,” ID admits. They wrap their arms around their stomach.
“Why were you in Hosu then?” Mr. Iida asks.
“It is weird,” Native said. “Don’t they have to retain residency in Canada?”
“They do,” Tensei said, staring at the screen.
“... The kid is taking my role as Goblin in the Court. I’m stepping down from international heroics,” ID says. “Squirt got divorced, and I didn’t know until after that stupid mission a year ago, five months after it happened. I don’t want to miss my brother’s life anymore. I…”
In his apartment, Squirt winced. He was happy his sibling had found out sooner; five months sounded like hell. More so, since he had no friends, he lost them all in the divorce. At first, he’d hoped they didn’t know about the cheating, but they’d always known. Squirt was ‘just a husband for money reasons’ after all. It made him sick, thinking he’d trusted a man like that.
It would be nice to have ID around; Squirt was already looking for a new place so ID could stay with him. Hosu would be nice. Maybe ID would get back together with Tensei, even if their relationship crashed that badly. It wasn’t like Squirt’s marriage, where one was lying to the other. It was two good people who reacted badly.
And it showed how awful good people could be deep inside.
“Oh hell,” Tensei muttered, looking at the screen. “Poor Squirt.”
“He’s that support guy, right?” Native asked. “I never met him.”
“Yeah. He’s one of the best; he does my stuff,” Tensei said. The name Squirt was connected to a lot of heroes. Those who recognized the name reacted in different ways.
Hatsume Mei squealed in delight at hearing the name of one of the best designers in Japan, though she scowled after. Whoever married him didn’t know what they had.
David turned to his daughter on I-Island, who wasn’t talking to him after the reveals. She still hung around; she wasn’t talking. “Maybe we should invite him here. I’ve met him before, good man.”
“He’s mute, right?” Melissa asked, thinking of the designer.
“I think so? Never heard him talk.” David said. Melissa gave a short nod and fell silent. David winced. With everything… it felt awful not talking to his daughter. He should never have hidden the truth, or at least he should have told her when she was old enough to understand. But they never did, not wanting to rock the boat. Especially after the three of them broke up,
“You wanted to talk to Tensei. You miss him,” Mr. Iida says wisely.
“It’s dumb,” ID says. “But he’s one of the few people I want to talk to in Japan. Done and Loudy-McLoud are others, so is BDSM or the Rat, but…”
“You and Tensei dated for five years, and I know he had a ring,” Mr. Iida says. ID winces and looks away. “You did, too.”
Tenya glared at the screen, ignoring Tensei over the phone. ID didn’t deserve to be there or be told that, not after what they did!
“I was offered a position in the Court! The best international information heroics team in the world! I… I didn’t want long distance, and Engine Boy was with his agency and couldn’t just leave.” ID shakes their head. “Then everything imploded, we broke up like that after we both did shitty things, then fucking Sara happened and… I missed him so much and regretted never taking the chance.” They look towards a door. “I love him. I never stopped.”
“What?!” Tensei said, eyes widening. They still… Oh. OH.
“Dude,” Native said, grabbing his shoulder to shake him. “Don’t.”
“What?” Tensei said, ignoring his family on the phone.
“Right now, things are shit. Don’t try for something or talk to them over the phone. Wait until they get here, Iida. It’s better all around,” Native warned the man, who sighed. That made sense.
In his car, Hizashi snorted. “And there we are. Think they’ll get back together?”
“They will. After they hash out where they went wrong,” Shouta said. He made a face. “Also, stop discussing romance with me; bug Nemuri for it.”
 “Spoilsport.”
“Good,” Mr. Iida says. “He’s going to need all the love he can get now.” ID looks at him with sad eyes as the screen pauses on them.
“Pro-Hero Info Dropper!” Mic’s voiceover says. “They’re an old school friend of Eraser and me! Their Quirk is Name Drop, where if they say someone’s name, they gain information they previously did not know about the person! Hence the nicknames!”
The screen moves to Midoriya and her friends entering the stands, Iida missing. They all look at each other in worry.
“Midoriya! Todoroki! You guys were so cool!” Kaminari says, standing up. He pauses. “Hey, you alright?”
“Iida got bad news about his brother,” Midoriya says. “He had to leave.”
“His brother Ingenium?” Yaoyorozu asks. “I hope everything is okay…”
“We don’t know,” Uraraka says. The once cheerful group in the stands falls silent, and they look to the field.
“...Bakugou is going to get his ass creamed, isn’t he?” Jirou asks.
“HEY!” Katsuki snapped in anger. Why the hell was everyone saying that?!
“No bet,” Kaminari and Sero say.
“Guys-“ Kirishima begins, but Ashido interrupts him.
“Don’t. Kiri, I’m saying this in the nicest way possible: none of us like him. No matter how much you defend him, we will not change our minds unless he himself shows us he is not the jackass we see him as. I’m sorry, but for me, he is just the asshole who decided to hit you because he was angry at something else,” she says kindly. Kirishima frowns but falls silent.
Katsuki winced. He… hadn’t thought about that. Hearing that no one liked him wasn’t fun. At Aldera, everyone liked him. He was the top dog, after all. But at UA… only Shitty Hair seemed to look at him like he should be looked at with awe, and care.
…Okay, fine, he’d knock off the insults and hitting at least until they accepted where he was in the pecking order. Shitty Hair could take a few smacks and didn’t mind. So maybe not in public too much.
He’d win against Eyebags and show them all!
The screen goes to show the field which has been fixed, both Bakuou and Shinsou standing there. Bakugou glares at Shinsou, not looking away. Shinsou glares back.
“Alright,” Midnight says, raising her whip. “Ready-set-GO!” she cracks it and Bakugou flings himself at Shinsou who dodges with a tsk.
“Seriously? Midoriya is a much better sparing partner,” he comments carelessly. “Are you that bad at this you just fling yourself without a plan?”
“FUCK OFF EYEBAGS-” Bakugou begins only to freeze. His Quirk dies down, and he stands there with hazed eyes.
“... Really?!” Mina asked the screen. “That fast?!”
“Damn,” Kaminari said. “He really is easy to rile up.” Kirishima gave them disappointed looks but also winced at the screen. That wasn’t a great look.
In his room, Katsuki froze in shock. No, no it… NO. He had to break free, he had to WIN. HE HAD TO.
“... One comment? Really?” Shinsou says, baffled. “I could have sworn you’d talk to anyone in your class… whatever, walk out of the ring.” Shinsou waves a hand and Bakugou obeys.
It’s over in barely a minute. Midnight raises her whip as Bakugou crosses the line, “Shinsou wins!”
“YES!” Hitoshi shouted in his classroom as Atakani clapped, and even a few others copied her. He’d won against Bakugou! That was awesome.
Katsuki stared in horror, shaking. No, this couldn’t be happening, no it was a LIE.
Bakugou’s eyes go back to normal as people cheer. He turns around, confused. His eyes widen as he realizes what happened and he whirls around.
What? He thinks. No I- NO!
“FUCK!” Bakugou screams and flings himself at Shinsou with his hands blazing. “YOU CHEATING SCUMBAG BASTARD!” Shinsou’s eyes widen and he steps back as Midnight’s whip comes out to lash out on Bakugou’s hand closest to her.
“CHEATER!” Katsuki screamed as people shouted in shock and horror. His mother opened his door with a shout,
“KATSUKI! KNOCK IT OFF!” she yelled.
 “He cheated-”
“How did he cheat?!” Mitsuki demanded. “He won fair and-”
“It wasn’t a fight!” Katsuki yelled. “It has to be a fight, it can’t just be that bullshit, the little scumbag is-”
“ENOUGH!” Mitsuki roared. She glared at her son. “He used his Quirk fair and square like you do. Just because you prefer to beat people up doesn’t mean he cheated.”
“It’s the Sports Festival!” Katsuki yelled. It meant they fought, not that someone with a cheap ass Quirk would just roll in to beat them. It wasn’t fair, it wasn’t! The fact his own mother disagreed pissed him off. He deserved to win, he should WIN! He bet someone would disagree with Midnight and he would be given the proper title of winner!
“STOP!” she shouts. “You lost Bakugou, kindly-”
“THIS IS A FUCKING CHEATER! LET ME KILL HIM!” Bakugou screams and he moves to fast, his hand aiming for Shinsou’s chest just as purple smoke fills the air. The scene is obscured, even as a blast echoes.
In the crowd, Midoriya jumps up. “SHINSOU!” she screams, her voice joined by others. The smoke in the arena dissipates to reveal both boys knocked out, with Shinsou’s hand locked around Bakugou’s wrist.
“Shinsou deflected the blast!” Midnight decrees, and Midoriya bursts into relieved tears.
“Holy shit,” Izumi said, eyes wide. “That… that was close!”
“Holy shit indeed,” Shouta grimaced. “Reminds me of the reactions when I beat people in the festival. Butt hurt idiots not wanting to admit they’d lost against me kept saying I cheated, as if I just didn’t use my Quirk in the same way they did.”
“Yeah but this is in public. How the hell did he snap like that?” Mic wondered.
 “Maybe it’ll explain?” Izumi pondered.
The screen morphs again to reveal Bakugou waking up in Recovery Girl’s office. He lies on a bed with a divider blocking his view. He blinks in confusion before sitting up.
That eye-bagged BASTARD! Bakugou’s inner thoughts snarl. He is about to stand when Recovery Girl’s voice speaks.
 “Hitoshi, are you sure-”
“I’m okay, Grandma, promise,” Shinsou says. “I deflected it. Just feel sluggish from Midnight’s Quirk. I can fight in the final round, promise.”
All of Katsuki’s fight left him and he dropped to sit on his bed as his mother cursed creatively. He’d hurt Recovery Girl’s grandson—someone who taught at UA.
He… he’d lost. He had, and the bastard cheated! Katsuki knew he did, but like it would fucking matter now. Eyebags was a fucking legacy; Recovery Girl would protect him. That wasn’t fair! It wasn’t!
Hitoshi stood up, grabbing his bag as people gasped, staring at him. “I’m going to… go,” he said awkwardly. He’d call his dad and get the man to pick him up. He didn’t want to stay with people knowing who he was related to. Either they would be weird, trying to talk him into being their friend, or they’d be horrified such a ‘heroic mother had such an awful grandson.’
“Shinsou-” Atakani said, but Hitoshi took off, and around Japan, people freaked out. That was Recovery Girl’s grandkid? Really? He didn't look like her and that Quirk! How did that come from healing?
A few more dishonest types wondered where they could find the kid. He'd fetch a price. But mostly, there was shock. There was some fear from former bullies and shouting among the future class 1A, but shock was the primary emotion.
“That boy better not use that knowledge!” Chiyo shouted in her office. She was furious. Bakugou not only could have killed her grandson in his anger, but he'd learned their connection!
And now her grandson was entirely in the open. She should speak to Nezu right away. She felt Hitoshi would end up in 1A, and he needed to be safe now. Might as well have him join the others.
“Good. I was worried. Your father and grandfather have been texting non-stop about you.” Recovery Girl says in relief. Bakugou sits there with wide eyes. He stares at the curtain until footsteps and a door opening make him get out of bed. Recovery Girl moves faster, and opens the divider. She glares at him. “I don’t know what you heard boy, but unless you want a lawsuit? Sit. Down. NOW.” she says calmly.
Bakugou obeys, glaring at her. “Eyebags is your grandson?” he demands.
“That’s private and not of any concern to you. Now, do you have a headache? Nausea?” Recovery Girl asks briskly. Bakugou growls and shakes his head. “Good. You’re going home then. Due to your attack on a student AFTER the match was called, you have been disqualified from the rest of the tournament,” Recovery Girl says bluntly. “Your homeroom teacher will be contacting your parents as well.”
“WHAT?! YOU CAN’T-” Bakugou screams but Recovery Girl slams her cane onto the floor.
“That's not fair!” Katsuki yelled. “She’s-”
“You attacked him after the match. You could have killed him Katsuki.” Mitsuki groaned. “How can you not see your own actions for what they are?”
Katsuki glared at the screen. He didn't have a response nor did he want to deliver one.
 It wasn't fair.
“We can. You’re disqualified and will most likely receive your third strike Bakugou,” she says coldly. “I can’t imagine why you think you wouldn’t be.”
This isn’t supposed to happen, Bakugou’s mind screams. I’m SUPPOSED to win! I’m the best! Why… why do I keep LOSING?!
He stands there as Recovery Girl walks away, calling over her shoulder his parents were coming to get him. The screen slowly fades to black on him.
The timer ticked on for two hours, making people turn and begin talking instantly. The last few episodes had been mad. And it could go either way after this, more so since the final fighters would be Midoriya or Shinsou.
Katsuki stared at the screen in disbelief. He had lost. He might get another fucking strike because Eyebags cheated.
It wasn't FAIR! It wasn't! What the fuck?!
How could this happen to him?
Meanwhile, as the car with Izumi inside approached UA, Nezu was ushering in Fatgum, who held a particular package.
Little Eri was going to be interesting, Nezu could already tell.

Notes:
-Nara is ‘Creepy’ from the Commission. I mentioned his real name first chapter but it’s been a while lol.
-I really hope people aren’t waiting with bated breath for a big redemption with Endeavour. I may like his redemption more then Bakugou’s canonly but I firmly believe Endeavour needed more punishment. At the time of the reveal in canon, it makes sense it doesn’t happen. Here? Nope. But as Midnight points out: he’s to valuable to put in jail.
-I was honestly like: it would take way longer for any of these kids to wake up in real life so boom. A nurse usually is around. Her Quirk is energy boost which gets the kids awake. Her daughter though is now handling it.
-Endeavour being torn apart by teenagers is always the right thing to do.
-I can’t remember if I ever used more then Curious from the MLA (or if I ever did…) but here. I still think the MLA is dumb as fuck as a plot because of the fact Shigaraki quickly took over, but had this thought after reading fics where they try to get OFA. What if instead they were completely fine with a Quirkless person getting it because it made them not Quirkless? Also sprinkled in some ‘Everyone has Standards’ with the guy.
-I flipped a coin for the winner of the rock-paper-sissors.
-Okay so… ID kind of grabbed me and made me write this cause they wanted their stupid dramatic romance. Also I wanted to feed the goblin that wanted romance inside me, so you get this.
-*sigh* Bakugou, Bakugou, Bakugou. He’s been on a tightrope, and he’s just kept LOSING. And now he doesn’t get anything he wants? He lost? Third when DEKU moved on? He’s not having it. Pity he fucked up this bad.
-Intermission next on advice from the Beta who I asked if I should end the ‘future’ here.
-Also, someone asked but the future being separate stories. I’m going to go no given that I wrote this specifically as a screen and editing to make it a story-story would be another thing on my plate sorry.

@tinycozyoasis shared an awesome template for a fun little meme that I wanted to try with Rosalie.
Cereza, The Bayonetta Franchise: Like Cerzera, Rosalie is an elegant woman who radiates confidence. Simultaneously brutal and playful. Someone who can be callous, but deeply protective over those she holds dear as well.
Izumi Curtis, Full Metal Alchemist: A quick temper and inclination towards violence that's easily calmed by those who know how to handle her. Despite her aggressive nature, she is a remarkably warm, caring individual whose always willing to help those in need-especially children. Wise. Loves to traval.
Princess Peach, The Mario Franchise: One of my favorite characters in media. A character who embodies both strength and femininity- exactly what I wanted for Rosalie.
Amy Rose, Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise: Similar to Peach, Amy is a character who is equal parts feminine and badass. Also her love for hitting things with her giant hammer? Very Rosalie.
Sadie Adler, Red Dead Redemption 2: A extremally tough, headstrong, and fiery woman whose unafraid of toil. Sadie also technically shares this spot with Bonnie MacFarlane from RDR1- a rancher with a similar disposition to Sadie.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron: Just... this entire movie. A wild, free-spirited young woman whose taken unwillingly from her home and fights to return.

I read the newest chapter of paper roses and I loved it! Well done! What I adored most was that Isonso/Roland was included in the museum part cause he's Kaiba's confidant so it made perfect sense.
Yasssss!!!!
Thanks soooooo much for this message my dear!
That was what I was aiming for. See, I reckon Roland is Seto's father's figure. He's been the one truly steadfast and immovable person in his life for so long. A moral compass, if you will.
In my own headcanon, I believe that Roland would try to tell Seto when he thinks his employer is being unreasonable or doing something dangerous. Roland cares about this kid he saw Gozaburo abuse for so long. In Paper Roses I've alluded to it numerous times, but I don't know if my own entire backstory will ever be explained plainly in-fic, so here it is for anyone who's interested.
Seto underwent physical abuse from his stepfather and it was an amalgamation of mansion's staff who tried mitigate it. Kiku and Izumi (the one with the green jade dragon hair-slide), the two longest-serving of the maids, would quickly get little-Mokuba away from Gozaburo when he was in a foul mood or when he was taking it out on Mokuba. And they would distract the child and help keep him safe. Kiku would distract little-Mokuba and Izumi would try her best to calm Gozaburo; she had been close friends with his wife before their divorce.
It was Roland who tried to help Seto. He and Rin saw the abuse in plain view. Roland taught Seto how to defend himself and he once intervened between Gozaburo and young-Seto, which resulted in Gozaburo removing him from the mansion and posting him permanently to the KaibaCorp building. During one fit of rage, Gozaburo struck Seto, which resulted in him falling down the stairs and broke his collarbone. This is the scare that Kisara asks him about. Rin wants to call an ambulance, but Gozaburo refuses, which results in a stand-off of sorts. The fiery woman threatens to call the police if the child isn't brought for medical attention. Gozaburo gives in all of it quietened of course, but Rin is fired. Seto uses the skills Roland taught him to gain the upper hand in an altercation and sends Gozaburo sprawling on the ground; Roland is the one who ignited a love of Judo in Seto. (In the Kaiba Grand Prix arc, the screen of Zigfried's laptop shows that Seto was trialed by soccer scouts and was a world Judo champion).
When Gozaburo decides to jump out the window (the option I choose to believe for Paper Roses), Roland is the first to get to Seto and protects the teenager. He's with him throughout Death-T and never once holds a grudge against him. If you look at the ages of his children in Paper Roses, he and his wife have children only when Gozaburo has died. He could only devote himself to his own family when he knew Seto was safe.
Roland was there throughout all of the arcs, never balking even once. Fuguta too, but just not as visible as Roland.
So it made sense for Roland to be there for this oh so important moment for Seto. It's a huge moment for Kisara too, but it's more important that she's there on her own two feet and deciding to venture into the truth. Whereas Seto is the opposite; he's learning how to not be there alone, to allow someone else into the truth he's known and hidden for too long.
This moment is equally important for Roland who has stood by Seto for so long; the chance for him to realise his charge/employer has learned to allow people beside Mokuba in, but to also understand the happening beyond his control and understanding in terms of Egypt. That Kisara and Seto were always supposed to find each other. That this small kernel of a family need him to protect them as best he can.
Anyways ... /end rant lecture.

My friend and I were talking about hero outfits always being form fitting (this discussion actually popped up because we both really like Jirou’s hero outfit being unique from her classmates) when we also realized that female heroes almost never have armored outfits.
Initially we thought it was JUST sex appeal (cause it was originally), but then we also noticed that even female writers and artists don’t change the outfits along with the passage of time (like Batman changing from tights to Kevlar and other armors; while Wonder Woman’s big consistent change was her gaining a sword and shield), so we thought that it could actually be due to “gender mindset”.
Meaning that males prefer to tackle their problems head on and thus require/desire extra protection for it. Meanwhile females prefer to out maneuver their opponents and thus require the extra range of motion that armor would impede.
Could just be optimistic and it probably is just sex appeal, but what are your thoughts?
Like, what is Izumi’s hero outfit and why did you choose that?
Sorry for the long ask 😅
That's...actually pretty interesting and yeah as written, male characters tend to rely more on brute force and female characters on maneuverability and ranged fighting.
Um, Izumi's costume is largely designed like a diver's wetsuit since she's not only a hydrokinetic but she also has gills and fins and can breathe underwater and since she fights at range most of the time, she's never bothered with armor.
Which to be honest, has bitten her a couple of times.

I've just realized something about General Olivier Mira Armstrong.
Finally, I've come to understand the reason why she hates Mustang so much - and why she still respects his men.
Olivier Armstrong is a military woman down to her very core. In that she is an interesting character because she is in many ways complicit with the military dictatorship ruling Amestris while also condemning it. She's a political moderate, a mediocre politician, a fierce warrior, and a great leader.
We don't know much about General Armstrong outside of her military career - and her relationship to her brother. We know she's the only female general in the upper brass, we know she's been nicknamed "The Northern Wall Of Briggs" and "the Ice Queen", we know she cares greatly for her soldiers... and she despises cowards.
Now how does she define a coward?
That's were things are starting to get interesting. Because General Armstrong called her brother a coward multiple times because he failed to do what was right in Ishval - but, important to note, it wasn't the heinous acts themselves that she condemned (though it is implied that she does indeed condemn them) but the fact that her brother didn't follow his own principles. He didn't abandoned the Amestrian army to fight for the people he had sworn to protect even though he wanted to. He just went home. And that's what makes him a coward in her eyes.
This aligns with everything else we see about her. She calls Mustang a "sniveling coward" multiple times and notes his lack of a backbone. And yet her dislike of him doesn't seem to run as deep as her disappointment in her brother. Some of that might just be that Alex is family and that means personal relationships do indeed play a role... but some of it is probably the very simple truth that Mustang is trying his best to make up for what he did.
He also failed in her eyes, following orders he knew were wrong, but where her brother fled, Mustang had the strength to stay and look his victims in the eyes as he killed them.
Mustang's team on the other hand did something that General Armstrong very much appreciates: they chose Mustang and his goals the same way the men of Briggs chose her.
Mustang might be a coward and a fool in her eyes, but she can respect the choices his team made.
There is one scene near the end of the show that showcases that beautifully. In episode 58 (or 57) Izumi and General Armstrong get the general to confess the brass' plan to sacrifice the Amestrian people in front of a bunch of soldiers and - after hearing their own death sentence uttered by a commanding officer - the soldiers are unsure how to proceed.
And Armstrong gets angry at them.
Because they are simply following orders. They were killing her people and condemning her country - simply because of some orders that they never learned to question.
And in General Armstrong's eyes that's the actually unforgiving act. Killing and slaughtering for the army is not something she has any problem with (as evident by the Briggs soldiers bloody takeover during the Promised Day) but it needs to be an act of conviction. Looking away and hiding behind orders is what Armstrong sees as cowardly.
It's what Mustang did in Ishval and what his men failed to do when they followed him willingly. It's what Alex couldn't see through, but Olivier made sure her soldiers knew before joining her.
She wants to change Amestris and it's military, not because she's an idealist like Mustang, but because she wants a military in which each soldier is responsible for the people they kill.
It's fascinating because General Armstrong doesn't have the moral high ground - she doesn't see the military as rotten the same way Mustang does, and she doesn't see killing as wrong the way Edward does. She doesn't even contemplate her own kills with shame the way Hawkeye is prone to, or judge the system as harshly as Izumi does.
But she does have a strong moral core as a character, one that would perhaps even agree with Kimblee's famous quote: "Look straight at the people you kill; don’t take your eyes off them. Do not ever forget them because they won’t forget you." - and if you don't agree with an order given? It is your duty as a soldier to defy it.
That's why she can trust her men to plan a coup without her being there to lead them - because she knows every choice they make will be one they can live with. Just as every order they follow is one they can justify.
She is an interesting character because she questions the system while endorsing it - and that puts her at odds with both the military complex and Mustang and his team. It achieves complexity in what could very easily have been a simply narrative.
Olivier Mira Armstrong hates cowards - but she respects those who stand up for their believes, even if those believes defy her.

Submission:
Not liking sasunaru isn't homophobic. By your logic Itachi and Sasuke have romantic feelings for each other. How Sasuke feels for Naruto and chasing him and wanting to stand by his side is that same as hinatas confession. Itachi thought about Sasuke's naked body when he was talking to naruto. They're both obsessed with each other.
Sasuke and Itachi are depicted as Japanese Gods Amaterasu and Tsukoyomi respectively. Sasuke in the story represents Amaterasu, the sun goddess, and that is evident in many circumstances, such as the fact that he is born in the heart of the summer with sun bathing the whole Uchiha family (also being the only hope for them-as Amaterasu was for people in Japan), the fact that he awakens his Mangekyo staring at the sunset, and also his Mangekyo abilities being based on Amaterasu black flames. Extra evidence to Sasuke being Amaterasu is a Japanese myth where Amaterasu is hidden in a cave (episodes 334-340 where Sasuke is in a cave with edo Itachi), and the whole world falls in darkness (the world was at war with Obi-Madara), and after many attempts, only goddess Ame-no-Uzume who appeared naked dancing in front of Amaterasu seductively was able to convince her to leave the cave and the world was filled with light once and for all (goddess Uzume is our boy Naruto Uzumaki, who stands ''naked'', revealing his true emotions in front of Sasuke, after ''dancing'' aka fighting -''you dance well'' as Madara said to those who were worthy opponents- more fiercely than Sasuke could imagine-and Sasuke was bathed in the morning light). Also, Amaterasu was a female. In our story, Sasuke is mistaken by both Kushina and Izumi as Itachi's sister, is pale as in Japan pale skin is considered a female characteristic that adds to a woman's looks, and in personality he is more on the yin side with the main characteristic of his physche being that he is submissive to the superiority of others, mainly to Itachi and Naruto.
On the other hand, Itachi represents god of the Moon, Tsukoyomi who is a male that has a unique balance of female and male qualities as the Japan poems say. So Itachi has a warm skin tone and a strong jawline which are a male characteristics in Japan, but also has long hair and eyelashes which are obviously female qualities. He is also headstrong and dutiful about his decisions, never wavering when he has to do something, and he generally is dominant, especially towards Sasuke. Further evidence of him representing Tsukoyomi, is that he is almost always depicted with a full moon in Naruto's series in countless circumstances, and of course his Mangekyo awakening on a night with full moon, and his abilities being mainly Tsukoyomi-which is the technique he uses the most. Also, his skin emits a coldness as Japanese mythology said about Tsukoyomi, and that is evident in the night of the massacre.
According to Japanese mythology, Amaterasu and Tsukoyomi lived happily together in their palace located at the sky, and were a married couple of siblings. In our story, Itachi and Sasuke share the same room, sleeping together, sharing their thoughts in Uchiha's compound balcony that is filled with the sunset's light. Also, outside the Uchiha household there is a red umbrella, which is an umbrella carried by couples being married in Japan. This balcony scene plays over and over again in Sasuke's mind cause it was when Itachi first declared his love and protection for his little brother (at least to his knowledge, cause when he first said it Sasuke was a baby). To add more to Itachi's feelings towards Sasuke having romantic undertones, when his mom says he will have a little brother, it starts snowing, which is a symbol of the sparkle of a romantic love interest in Japan. Edo Itachi also, says in ep339, at 13.10 with an exact Japan translation ''the night you and I broke up''-wakareta is a verb used in couples. And of course, the ''I love you'' part which is more than it first looks like. Aishiteru is the ultimate word for I love in Japan, and it is rarely, if ever used in real life, and exclusively between couples. The fact is, that this word is used in anime more than in real life, but in the Naruto anime and manga we only witness it 2 times-the first being from Kushina to Naruto, and the second being the above. However, in my opinion, Itachi's love declaration was far more stronger in the way it was depicted through Kishi's art. Whereas Kushina sits near Naruto closing her eyes as she said I love you, Itachi is pulling Sasuke's head to his, saying those magic words looking him straight in the eyes. Also, their faces when touched form a heart. Itachi's love confession feels bold, so much so that it makes Sasuke reconsider his whole crush Konoha plan. On Sasuke's side, I will mention a few facts not discussed as they should, such as the moment he lays his eyes on Itachi at ep 134, he awakens his Sharingan, and most notably at The Last Naruto movie when Sakura says ''When a girl truly falls in love with someone, her feelings won't change that easily; they can't'', we see Sasuke staring at the full moon which is always linked in his mind and heart with Itachi (as he says in ep. 142 to Tobi: ''when I look at the full moon, I remember Itachi''). So, Sasuke's feelings are paralleled after a girl's strong romantic emotions, thinking of his lost love that can't be taken away from his heart in front of the full moon. Fun fact is that I get the impression that the double size bed in Sasuke's room is the same one as the one he shared as a small child with Itachi.
In Japanese mythology, Amaterasu sent Tsukoyomi to Uke Mochi, the food goddess as her representative, but Tsukoyomi killed Uke Mochi because he was disgusted with the way she produced food. When Amaterasu became aware of the incident, she declared Tsukoyomi an evil god, and thus the couple seperated, making day and night. In our story, Itachi is disgusted with his family (the ones that bring food on the table-as a parallel to uke mochi) and the whole clan's way of thinking, killing them all, and leaving a hurted Sasuke believing only the surface of his actions, and not the actual reason behind them, just like Amaterasu did with Tsukoyomi. In Itachi's novel Itachi thinks to himself that '' Sasuke would walk in a road where the sunlight will reach, whereas he will be living in the darkness and in shadows''. He will be allowed only one more reunion with him to give him strength and honour-again this is a reference to the moon eclipse where the sun and the moon meet each other rarely. Sasuke also says at Orochimaru before killing him that people like him-thinking back at Itachi- ''disgust him'', and at Tobi that ''Itachi is evil''. Also, the Black Night Town ending song says ''there is no moonlight in this town, and only loneliness exists here''-meaning there is no Itachi here, and Sasuke is consumed with loneliness.
Last but not least, we have the union of the couple through their eyes, and also the famous forehead tap: the forehead symbolises divine love and protection according to the Bible, and is the place where the love manifests in its full strength, as the forehead is located between the eyes that symbolise wisdom after having faith in this love.
Sneezemonster15 - Okay, here's my first ItaSasu stan. Or am I getting it wrong? It's a little confusing. Anyway.
I am so tired explaining the same shit again. It's like people have no reading comprehension. No one said not shipping SNS means you are homophobic. Reducing their relationship to brotherhood and friendship definitely is, which is my point.
As for anyone shipping actual brothers, hey, we all have our fantasies, who am I to judge. But I can't analyse personal fantasies, only storytelling and characters. So you have fun. Just don't send me anymore submissions about it. It's all I ask for. Thanks.

Another Chub update to make the day brighter
Two things:
One, when I think of Izuku sweating from surprise, nervousness, or fear, it's like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just add the cutest, most nervous puppy eyes, and there you have it. I hope I describe it well enough that you all see it, too.
Also, aint it just grand her first name's Izumi? It just fits.
And two, I just... I keep thinking of chubby!Izuku as a fat lil mongoose doing his best.
Also, did you know that mongooses are one of the few facultatively carnivorous animals with horizontal pupils? It gives them a wider field of vision common in prey animals like sheep and goats.
Current studies assume this is because, while they are predators, they are also prey to many creatures in their environment. They also consistently face off against snakes, which would tend to hide from a narrower field of view.
So, mongooses can protect themselves by being extremely sensitive to their environment.
This chub Izuku is like a mongoose. He's chonk, but he can still kill snakes if the situation calls for it. I love him so much.
Anyway, that's your animal fact for today. Now, onto the AU stuffs.
(blanket tw for fatshaming as always, and also, some self-esteem and internalized issues)
---
Toshinori enters the nurse's office, expecting the boy to be unconscious after being kissed to heal his punctured leg. But, to his genuine surprise, the boy is awake, sitting up in bed with an IV of blood attached to his arm.
While he does look tired, his eyes half-closed, he is surprisingly not exhausted enough to be knocked out. A kiss to heal a punctured artery would certainly have anyone else down for the count.
Upon his entrance, the conversation between Recovery Girl and the young boy stops. He looks up from the elderly woman to the door with that same tired look.
But the exhaustion fades immediately, replaced with cold panic as his eyes open wide. Young Midoriya turns away from him, as though if he doesn't look at him, Toshinori won't see him in return.
Ah.
Before Toshinori can say anything, Recovery Girl cuts in, her voice sickly sweet.
"Oh, there you are, young man. I was just wondering where you were."
"Ah...yes. You see, I wanted to--"
"Talk about the incident in your class today? Oh, don't worry. We'll be having a meeting after school."
...Well. He should expect at least this much. The boy's injury was rather severe, and who knows what Young Midoriya rightfully reported about the issue from class? Perhaps he shouldn't be surprised if his teaching license gets revoked.
"U-Uhm..."
The two look over to the boy, who is worrying his bedsheet with his fingers, sweating nervously. He cautiously looks up toward them in short glances, mostly keeping his gaze down.
"Uh...is... Is All Might, uhm...in trouble because of me?"
Recovery Girl stares at the young boy for a moment before speaking.
"Why did you call him All Might, dearie?"
Immediately, the boy's hands shoot up over his mouth, sweat practically flying off of him now.
"Ah, don't worry, don't worry." Recovery Girl slides her chair from her desk over toward him. "You're not in trouble. Rather, I was surprised you knew who he was, even in his current form."
"Oh...it's, uhm. He rescued me...a few months back. And, uhm...I happened to...see him."
"I see. So you didn't learn about it at school?"
Instead of answering verbally, he shakes his head, his hands slowly, stiltedly lowering from his mouth.
"I-I'm sorry. I just, I thought... I thought the teachers would..."
"No, you assumed correctly, dearie. The teachers do know. The students don't, so remember to keep it a secret, alright? Call him Yagi-sensei in the future if you see him like this."
"Yes... I'm sorry, sensei."
"Ah, don't worry, Young Midoriya. You didn't cause any harm. If anything, I need to thank you for keeping this secret so well. Even after rescuing you that day, I've seen no new news or rumors about my strength."
He doesn't react much to the praise, quietly and nervously fiddling with the sheet.
"And, well, about your question--"
"He is in quite a bit of trouble, but it's certainly not your fault," Recovery Girl finished, her smile tight.
"Eh? B-But..."
"No buts, dear. Like I said, a femoral artery injury like yours could have killed you. If you'd been in my care even a few minutes slower..."
She looks like she wants to say more, but she holds herself back. Instead, she just pats the boy's right leg.
"You're alive and you're going to be okay. That's what matters most. The adults have a responsibility to you to make sure you can learn heroics safely. And we've failed that here--"
"N-No!" The boy quickly apologizes for interrupting her, but he continues. "I mean, I was just--I was the one who couldn't keep up. This, uhm, the hero course is usually for people with quirks, so, uhm... So it's not All Mi--Yagi-sensei's fault that it happened. No one saw it coming, so, uhm, it was a surprise to everyone. Th-That's why, I think, uhm..."
He loses steam after a bit, worrying his lip as he forces himself to finish.
"I... It's okay. I'm okay. And I didn't die, so... And, uhm, it could happen in a real life setting. It was just, ah, a show of, uhm, what could...really happen. If I...manage to become a hero. So. It... Uhm...was a good lesson. I just have to be better. I have to... I have to be as good as everyone else. That's all. It's no one else's fault but mine."
The adults stay quiet for a good moment, and he starts to sweat nervously again, unsure of the reason for their silence.
"So then, dear, whose fault is it that your classmate let out an explosion that could've killed you in an enclosed setting?"
"Oh, uhm, that's just how Kacchan is. And it's fair that he'd want to, uhm, try out his new gear. Anyone would want to. So, he just... I just kinda got him fired up."
"Whose fault is it the building collapsed on you in a training lesson?"
"It's...mine. If I'd been faster, then I could've... I could've avoided falling."
"And, whose fault is it that your leg was impaled on a metal bar?"
He hesitates to answer, but it doesn't seem like they'll be moving forward with anything else until his does. So he says what he's thinking.
"Uhm...I guess...me? I mean, uhm. If I'd positioned myself--"
Recovery Girl shakes her head.
"I very strongly disagree. After all, it's not a hero's fault if something or someone injures them on the job when they try to move as safely as possible. Considering what you went through, I think you did wonderfully to only have the injury you did."
They all go quiet for a moment as the boy fiddles with the sheet. She speaks up again.
"You've been tired for a good bit. Why don't you try taking a nap again?"
"Eh? Uhm... It's okay. I can sleep at home, so..."
"...Well, I suppose you can."
Recovery Girl uses her cane to push herself to the other side of the room, opening a closet to pull out a crutch.
"The crack in your femur healed, as did the artery, but you should treat your leg delicately for a little while longer. Reduce the amount of weight on it for the next two days, then we'll take a look at it again, alright?"
"Mmn."
The boy moves to the edge of the bed, both legs free where a person would usually have to wear a cast. But he had enough energy for his body to heal up much faster. After adjusting the crutch to his height and waiting for Recovery Girl to remove his IV, Young Midoriya stands up, the crutch supporting his weight on the left side.
"Uhm, thank you very much, Recovery Girl."
"I'd prefer not to see you in my office again for quite some time, dearie."
Though he sweats with embarrassment, he nods, his smile wobbly. Then, he heads toward the door, though he pauses and looks up at Toshinori with wide eyes.
"...Yag...uhm...All Might. I promise I'll do better. Uhm...thank you for teaching today."
"...Of course, Young Midoriya. Have a safe trip home."
Although still nervous, the boy manages to smile at him before exiting the room.
The two adults stand there silently for a good minute. Recovery Girl would usually have quite a bit to say, but after speaking to the boy, she figured he was getting the picture.
And indeed, Toshinori was.
He'd really, really messed up. Not just today, but those months back, too. But especially today.
Because he had quite seriously considered asking the boy to reconsider his dream to be a hero. Even though what happened today was entirely his own fault, he still had that thought at the back of his mind.
Wasn't he quirkless once? Didn't he have a dream of being a hero all those years back?
Why would he be so dedicated to stifling someone who already very clearly stifles himself?
"Well."
He hears the rhythmic click of Recovery Girl's cane as she reaches the door. She gazes up at him, her expression shifting further with concern upon seeing the look on his face.
"It's time for the meeting now."
"...Right."
--- ---
And since I'm kinda running outta steam, back to drabble form briefly.
Ochako, Tooru, Mina, Tsuyu, Rikido, Eijirou, Tenya, Denki, and Fumikage all stayed after class ended to continue discussing some of their thoughts about the hero course. Of course, they were rather surprised by how dangerous it could get, but in the end, they came to a tentative reasoning that heroics in general was dangerous. At least they have a better idea of what they're getting themselves into.
"It's like...a wakeup call. We're here, now. So we've gotta stitch it up!" Eijirou says, motivated.
Some of the more active classmates get caught up in his positive energy. Though, others silently still think about how excessively dangerous Midoriya's turn had been. Tsuyu really had meant it when she said that explosion perhaps could've killed her.
Fumikage also couldn't quite get Dark Shadow's description of the scene in the darkness out of his mind. Of a boy, on his back with his leg pierced and bleeding, forced to hold his shield up against the rocks on top of him with all his remaining strength.
His and Tsuyu's worry about him kept them waiting more than the improvement discussions, but it was a nice change of pace.
Izuku gets back to his classroom, and the kids that don't know him yet formally introduce themselves to him. He's surprised by the sudden introductions, but he smiles, a bit of sweat coming off of him nervously. He's genuine when he says he's very happy to meet them.
Denki asks about his leg, and Izuku says it's alright, that he healed up very nicely and just has to take it easy on himself for a bit as the healing finalizes. While they're all quite happy to hear that, Tooru can't help but ask what's the deal with Ba-kun.
"Ah... We grew up together, and he's just kinda...ehm... He's a very motivated person. He gets excited and...sometimes that means he doesn't think about what he's doing completely. But he's super smart, so..."
"Damn... Never thought I'd hear you compliment the guy who essentially got you stabbed in the leg," Denki chuckles wearily.
"I mean, to be fair, he didn't exactly put the rebar there. Plus, he looked super shocked, too. I don't think he meant to set it off like that," Eijirou adds, to which Izuku quite vehemently agrees.
"He's rough at times... But he wants to be a hero and...Ah. Did he happen to stay behind?"
"Not that I know of. I think he left not long after the bell, gero. Though, Eraser Head-sensei did call him into another room. Not sure if he's still here."
"Oh..."
After a bit more talking, they all start heading home, with Tenya, Ochako, and now Tooru taking the train together until they reach their stops. Izuku feels a tingle down his neck as they leave the school grounds, and he looks back to see if anyone was there. Seeing no one, he keeps going with the others.
Once he's further away, Katsuki looks from the side of the building he was...resting near. His expression is pinched with irritation, but he doesn't know what to do with the swirling in his chest.
His quirk pops in his hands, and with the sparks, he sees flashes of Deku's profusely bleeding leg impaled on the rebar. His right shoulder throbs, though Recovery Girl had already kissed him, his muscles sufficiently recovered.
There'd be an investigation continuing regarding his...outburst. Disciplinary action was imminent, but the actual form of it isn't something he knows just yet.
All he knows is that he fucked up really badly and his quirk almost killed someone.
For all he talks about murdering someone with his quirk, he's never thought of doing that to Deku. Murdering civilians is a villain sort of thing. Roughing him up is fine, but he's never wanted the stupid bastard truly dead. Definitely not by his own hands.
But that almost happened cause he miscalculated. And he almost ended his own career because he fucking miscalculated. If Deku would just fucking leave heroics to those who could actually do it, then--
"I think I maybe would’ve died if I couldn’t get away and was faced against that, gero."
"He was too focused on his prejudice to consider the ramifications of his actions."
"This was just supposed to be training, gero…"
"Bakugou-san’s explosions, from the beginning, could’ve threatened the bomb if it wasn’t stably manufactured."
Katsuki grits his teeth, fingers curling as more sparks pop in his hands...
But they eventually putter out. Only then does he start making his way home.

Use mechanical translation. I like Izumi-san, too.My favorite character is Yashiro, and I don't think Yashiro and Izumi can't be friends. Yashiro's sense of distance from women stems from his childhood and Yakuza's toxic male atmosphere,Caring too much about Doumeki also leads to this. But the truth is, given Izumi's work, I think she's someone who can really connect with Yashiro (not necessarily in words) , like Doumeki's sister.Yashiro's jealousy did not cause him to show malice toward Izumi,I think he also thought Izumi was a kind woman (more suitable for Doumeki than he was). I don't think there's "something" going on between Izumi and Doumeki,It's not because Doumeki can't(He can). That's because when it comes to love, Doumeki and Yashiro are both very (even crazy) loyal people, and their differences lie in sex.To put it bluntly, they are simply not interested in other people. Neither Yashiro nor doumeki is particularly interested in“Falling in love”; they have other relationships (close or not). I think Doumeki needs some reason to do things alone, and a yakuza who doesn't care about women, money, or status is suspicious.Doumeki can protect Izumi and help with her work,Izumi can also provide cover for Doumeki. My opinion is not necessarily right, but I think they are a partnership. Izumi could not simply clarify their relationship. But if Izumi realized that Yashiro was someone Doumeki cared about, she might tell Yashiro. Both Yashiro and Doumeki felt insecure about Inami/Izumi,But they both need that relationship.and of course, Yashiro's behavior, was more devastating, almost an overuse of painkillers.
I don’t think there is something going on between Izumi and Doumeki. I was saying that I wouldn’t mind something going on but why I still understand if others are completely against it. I think that there is a mutually beneficial relationship between them. I went into it before on one of my posts but I think Izumi gives Doumeki information and in return Doumeki protects her. I am not sure if Yashiro can be friends with her or not since they had one interaction so far but maybe once Doumeki clarifies their relationship they can be friendly. I agree that Yashiro never gets malicious in his jealousy but I am not sure how he will handle it once he does get jealous again. I don’t see him going off in search of violent sex since it seems (for now) that having sex with Doumeki again was a turning point but Yashiro also can’t hold back on his emotions with Doumeki. I am looking forward to seeing all 3 of them interact.
