Shiroku and Shimyō (Enma’s demonic secretaries)

Iso onna – dangerous vampires that fed of blood and hunt for fisherman/travellers/ pirates

Hinoenma – femme fatales of the demonic world, attract men with beauty and destroy them.

Will write yokai! characters that look like humans, take Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss as an example, he has cute little ears and a tail, but he looks like a human man.

Iso onna - 磯女

The Iso Onna (coast woman) is closely related to the Nure Onna, however, the Iso Onna does not have serpentine features. The Iso Onna appears to be human from the waist up, however, her lower half is blurred or underwater making it impossible to see, her hair is long and matted and she wears clothes that are almost see-through. An Iso Onna will sit on the beach appearing as a beautiful woman staring out at sea. When a person approaches her she will turn around and let out an ear-piercing scream stunning her victim, allowing her to drag them into the sea and drain them of their blood. If there are no beaches an Iso Onna will wait on the bottom of a cliff and call out to her victim. Mesmerized by the Iso Onna's voice her victim will follow her only to fall off of the cliff to their death allowing her to freely feed on the body.

ATC - Yokai - Iso Onna

I've joined a group on Instagram where you complete 3 or more small trading cards every month that you participate and send them in and then receive cards from other members. You can find details about it here: https://pabkins.com/blog/ June's theme was 'Yokai' (which I suggested!). This was my third card for that month, an Iso Onna. I decided to make another card featuring a predatory lady. This yokai is an Iso Onna. They are closely related to the serpentine nure onna, but have a human appearance. They always appear soaking wet, often wearing see through clothing to help lure in prey. Much like a vampire, these women feast on blood, but in a much more interesting feeding method. They drink blood from the ends of their hair. Like her sisters, this iso onna lives on the coast of Japan, and spends much of her time underwater. When she gets hungry, she heads to the surface to look for a meal. She entrances an unlucky man, perhaps a fisherman, and lures him back with her beneath the waves. The ends of her hair begin to move with anticipation for her meal. She can't wait to get him into the sea, where she can wrap her hair around him and devour him. I hope this one found/finds a good home! Picture completed in June of 2019. Media: Gouache and ink on paper

Some quick sketches of my own fan yokai. Was going to do only yokai based on American cryptids seeing how the third game doesn’t have any as far as i know, but i got other ideas not too long ago, so fuck it.

The first sketch i had for a while but never posted it here. Its a guido Jersey devil that i call Jerky devil. He probably inspirits people to be a douche or something.

Next we got a mobster version of jibanyan cuz why not then a flatwoods monster with smog powers i guess. then a iso onna, which is some vampire that hangs out by rocky beaches, that i made associated with shampoo. that i need to redo the design. and last is a crusader yokai, that i call deus volt and he is a lighting attribute yokai. Now that i think of it, his design is a bit simple. idk one day i work on more design for them.
