Dark matter as a species can only be hurt in a couple different ways:

The first is with an enchanted weapon infused with light matter (Rainbow Sword, Galaxia, Triple Star, Love-Love Stick, Star Allies Sparkler, etc)

(Here, Prisma cannot cause lasting damage to dark matter because her weapon doesn't have light matter in it)

The second is that dark matter can destroy others of its kind if it is much more powerful than them.

(DMS can destroy these lower level grunts but he cannot kill Zero because Zero is more powerful)

meanwhile a dragon most asura can use as a mount is just off to go find more trash to eat, happy there's nothing to fight and their stomachs not sore anymore
