professor!Tony AU in which Tony is the chaotic STEM prof who you either love or despise, he grows fiercely protective of his students, he fixes broken laptops for free and there’s a rumor on campus that Prof. Stark got tired of his emails to the IT department being ignored and he was the one who snuck in and somehow fixed the shitty campus wifi.

He’s still iron man. he includes in his syllabus that if he has to leave in the middle of class for a mission that class is cancelled, and he keeps two spare suits in his classroom (it’s really five, but not too many people get to see the hidden ones)

He’s the only one on campus who dosnt change rooms, mainly due to the issue of him occasionally flying out windows or upward into other classrooms. he now has a permanent classroom, on the highest floor.

He encourages snark, and snacking in class, and when students come to class hungover a few times too many, he pulls them aside and asks if he can help them at all. he’s been there. they deserve help.

ok but think of Vergil being the one to think of Trish as a sister and bring her into the family properly

like they both slaved under Mundus, and though Trish worked for him, she wasn't any better off as she was used as bait and was borne into a face that wasn't fully her's

Trish fights back against Mundus eventually (with Dante's help), and she makes her face her own, she has shown great power and determination and Vergil has to give her respect

And after accepting his humanity and kinda trauma dumping to Trish as V, I feel like he would be at least friendly with her

He might never fully forgive Trish for what happened under Mundus, but don't think he would hold it against her either - in a similar way to how I imagine Dante would not forgive Vergil for Temin-Ni-Gru or the Qliphoth

But as Vergil interacts with her I think he would see how Trish has made her face her own, and the similarities that she holds to Eva would become more of a like mother like daughter feel, and he would gradually consider her family

Trish, however, would be trepidatious because Vergil is standoff-ish and not very friendly to anyone, and she might take that as a sign of a grudge or hatred toward her

but after winding up on a job together they would be able to have a fumbled conversation brought forth from bad positioning and exhaustion leading to them having to get each other put of sticky situations

and then they get into little play fights more and Dante starts to think something's wrong until he observes more and is like "huh"

ignoring for a second how these games are made with very little breathing room for shit that isnt shooting robots, i think the story of the X games could have been greatly improved with the addition of literally any human supporting character that isn't dr cain. i dont doubt that X wouldve run himself into the ground for the sake of humanity regardless of the number of actual humans hes ever spoken to, but it's so odd he doesnt seem to have any human friends or allies. Not even a navigator? theres no real reason a human couldnt be a navigator... and theres never human antagonists either, which you think there would be if this was any other series. like... robot-human conflict where your main characters are robots? why not have at least one human antagonist? i dunno! missed opportunities!

My only one real request of good omens s3 is that Crowley befriends Maggie and Nina and Muriel. And just becomes like the beloved weird cryptid of Soho. Crowley doesn't have ANY friends besides Aziraphale. And Aziraphale isn't here.

I just want the citizens of Soho to see this strange red-haired man who they were certain was following around Mr.Fell the other week and go "is anyone going to adopt him?" and not wait for an answer.
