The doctor was infamous for being cruel, aloof and barbaric. From his experiments to his way of treating his coworkers, practically everyone that worked in the Fatui wanted nothing to do with him, since even if they happened to not get on his bad side, even being associated with him meant other members of the organization would look at them funny. The only people the Harbinger spoke to daily, apart from you, were his many segments. 

The same couldn’t be said for you though. When you could, you’d spend time with Viktor or Ekaterina whenever they were in Snezhnaya, hang out with Damselette when she was free or simply just make small talk with anyone willing to stop by for a chat. Unfortunately, you haven’t been able to enjoy other people’s presence since your body’s been feeling quite sluggish as of late, exhaustion seeping into your limbs much quicker than it should. Your predicament made it so that you were confined to the four walls of your room most days, human interaction being limited to Dottore and his clones. 

Not that you particularly minded, since they were an entertaining bunch. Dottore took care of you most of the time, but since his job was quite demanding, he couldn’t be there for you all the time. Which is where his segments came in. 

“The soup isn’t that hot, and I already blew on it! Just eat already,” Delta grumbles loudly, his patience wearing thin as it made way for aggressive worry to take place. You stick your tongue out at him, a tired and petty act of rebellion despite your situation. 

“I dare you to take a sip. For sure it’ll be able to melt your mechanic tongue right off,” you huff in annoyance, both from the minimal hours of sleep you’d been getting and your own patience coming to an end. The man makes a tsk sound, torn between wanting to prove you wrong by humoring your suggestion or wanting to just grab an ice cube and tossing it in the bowl in malicious compliance. He doesn’t have time to decide though, because two people come into your room right as he opened his mouth to reply. 

“Prime told me to check in on you,” Omega says as he breaches the doorframe. “You’re taking too long.” he adds, crossing his arms. The older segment stares down at his maskless coworker, lips curling down in a frown. Delta scowls, readjusting himself on your bed- he was sitting to your right, his legs thrown over the side of the bed. He glances over his shoulder at the interruption, scowl now much more genuine as he glares daggers at the older segment. 

“I would have been back a long time ago if someone,” he doesn’t hide the way his eyes glance over at your sulking form, “had cooperated with me.” Still holding up the spoon he had tried to feed you previously, he lowers it into the bowl while gesturing for Omega to come closer. The latter walks over to the bed calmly while Iota saunters over to your left side, chatting up a storm about how he’s missed you and asking when you’ll be joining them back in the lab again. 

“Maybe if you knew how to speak to women,” the oldest taunts, lips curling into a small grin, the only feature visible on his masked face. You giggle as Delta bites back an insult, purposely ignoring his superior to instead try to make you get something in your system one more time. 

“Where’s Dottore?” you ask the Omega segment, turning your face away from Delta. The latter glares at you, handing over the bowl of soup to the other man. Iota suggests feeding you but is quickly dismissed by the other two, much to his dismay. 

“Busy. Although he said he would come by to test something, if I recall correctly... didn’t mention what it was, though,” the masked segment says, blowing on a spoonful of soup to cool it off. You nod, eating the spoonful when Omega presents it to you, earning a look of disbelief from Delta. “How are you feeling today?” the oldest asks, tuning out Delta’s many choice words aimed at him. You do the same, focused on eating and taking your time swallowing the food so as to not upset your already sensitive stomach. 

“Could be better,” you respond with a sigh. “I feel pain... everywhere. And I’m tired but I can’t sleep,” you add between spoonfuls. Omega nods, letting you rant as he silently listens to you while subtly observing the way your chest heaves up and down, as if your lungs were working overtime to accommodate to an elevated heart rate. 

He hums, dipping the spoon in the bowl to feed you again. You shake your head at him and put a hand up in front of your mouth, your brows creasing your forehead. The clone doesn’t push further and instead hands Iota the unfinished bowl of food, quietly asking for him to put it away. The young boy nods eagerly, happy to be of use as he scurries away. Delta follows after him to make sure he doesn’t break anything, but glances behind his shoulder to take one last look at you, worry obvious on his usually irked face. 

“How long has it been since Prime has last given your previous dose of aspirin?” he asks, leaning closer to you to push your hair out of your face. Expression scrunched up in discomfort from the sudden food intake, you make a noise of discontentment, a vague answer to his question. He frowns but doesn’t voice his displeasure aloud, instead comforting you through your nausea. Noticing pearls of sweat beading up on your hairline, Omega pulls your bed sheets away slightly, making you more comfortable. 

“Can you try swallowing for me?” he asks gently, tilting his head forward and to the side to look at your throat. It takes you a hot second but after some struggle you do as he instructed and swallow, your throat bobbing up as you do, and the segment hums in satisfaction. “Good,” he murmurs quietly, placing one hand on your shoulder to help you straighten your back. 

“Let me help you up. Hold onto my hand for me?” Omega asks, helping you slip out of bed, putting a strong arm under yours to help you stand up. You wordlessly interlock your fingers into his own and wobble slightly, knees weak and devoid of strength, but he holds you up, bending his own knees slightly to accommodate your height. The wave of nausea comes and goes, making your legs unsteady as the clone helps you walk towards the bathroom connected to your bedroom. 

Delta comes back without Iota in tow and immediately notices your discomfort. His legs work faster than his mind and he’s to your left in the blink of an eye, supporting your weight as well to help you and Omega out. The three of you reach the sink counter and as the oldest helps you sit up on it, Delta squints at his fellow clone. 

“Can one of you get my bucket,” you manage to croak out between deep breaths, head slumped forward to rest against Omega’s shoulder. While he rubs soothing circles on your back Delta quickly grabs the bucket you kept in your room, footsteps as silent as he could as to not disturb you. You murmur a quiet thank you to him, sitting up to the best of your ability as you shoot him a grateful smile. 

“Are you feeling well enough to bathe or are you still lightheaded?” Omega asks, one of his gloved hands coming up to your forehead. He feels some heat seep through the leather fabric but waits for your answer nonetheless, crimson eyes covered by his mask staring into you. You nod, leaning into the coolness of his hand. 

“Mmhyeah, jus’ help me out a bit,” you mumble sleepily, exhaustion taking over your nausea. Delta doesn't need to be told twice as he turns on the tap to fill up the bath, keeping a hand beneath it to make the sound of water splashing in the tub quieter to avoid bothering you.

With a towel resting over your head and newfound energy flowing through your limbs, you saunter into your partner’s main lab to find him. Omega had left shortly after you finished bathing, begrudgingly telling you that he had to go back to work- but Delta stayed with you long enough to keep you company while you let your eyes rest. He gave you some painkillers- nothing like what Dottore gave you to keep the pain at bay, but it worked as a temporary solution- and you felt energized enough to leave your bedroom to get ahold of Dottore. 

Delta walked behind you, not wanting to go back to the laboratory just yet but the last thing he wanted was to leave you alone, his mind working up a multitude of scenarios in which you’d get hurt. Although he was all bark and no bite, he still cared about you immensely- more than he’d ever admit. He watches your hair drip water onto the pristine white tiles as you walk and steps on the water with his boots, smudging the liquid to wipe it away. 

“Dottore!” you exclaim happily, eyes lighting up when you finally catch sight of the familiar mop of blue hair paired with his matching tired eyes and scarred skin adorning his face. The Harbinger looks up from his work, eyes displaying a mix of surprise and something akin to irritation- a result from catching him off guard. 

“Darling,” he says softly, quietly enough that you barely catch the loving nickname slipping past his chapped lips. “Did you eat?” he asks, brushing the dirt off his hands on his slacks. You engulf his torso in a warm hug, immediately comforted by the familiar faint scent of his cologne and whatever cleaning supply he used in his lab. He returns the hug gently and Delta looks away immediately, flustered at the sight of his boss being publicly affectionate. 

You respond with a muffled mhm, refusing to pull away. “Didn’t eat much but it was something. Omega ‘n Delta helped me bathe. Took something for the pain. Now I’m here,” you summarize, face still smushed against him. He hums in approval, but concern still creases his brows as he uses one of his hands to rub up your back and the other to dry off your hair completely using the towel on your head. Delta murmurs an excuse before leaving the premises, not able to withstand the pda. 

“You shouldn’t be out of bed,” he says sternly but softly. “I’m working on something that’ll help you in the long run, it’ll do you good to allow your body to recuperate as much as it can. Have you been sleeping alright?” 

You slump against him. Of course he’d notice how tired you were even if he couldn’t see your face. 

“...No,” you mumble. He doesn’t respond, but you feel his head moving as he looks around his workspace, seemingly looking for something. He lets out a quiet aha when he does and he brings his arms down to your shoulders to push you away. 

“I have something you can take to help you sleep. You shouldn’t feel nauseous nor dizzy when you take it as well,” Dottore says, immediately talking about the possible complications before you can even open your mouth to refuse his offer. “I tested it out myself,” he adds, lips curling into a small smile when he sees your face change from a pout to bewilderment. 

“You? The great Dottore, ex-scholar of the Akademiya, willingly taking medication to make him sleep? You never get rest, and you expect me to believe you when you talk about sleeping medication?” you say with an amused scoff. Dottore raises a brow at your teasing but doesn’t comment on it, instead he chooses to brush his pointer finger’s knuckle beneath your eyes. 

“You should believe me because I never get rest, my love,” he says fondly. “And because your dark circles are so prominent, I could probably see them from the other side of the laboratory.” he adds. You huff but lean into his touch, eyes drooping from the burst of energy catching up on your body. You hear him chuckle under his breath as he shifts his body to grab the medication in question and a syringe with a sterilized needle, preparing the equipment to administer it to you. 

“If you get an adequate amount of rest, I’ll take two days off work to take care of you properly. How does that sound?” he asks lightly, flicking the syringe to let out any air bubbles out. You look away with furrowed brows and roll your eyes, but still give him your arm. 

“Now you’re just trying to bait me,” you say, looking at him from the corner of your eyes. He shrugs, not arguing with your accusation because you were technically right. When he’s done with the syringe you feel his arms wrap around you, the warmth of his body making you sigh pleasantly. 

You can’t tell what it is that makes your body grow so incredibly tired so suddenly; if it was the medication, the strain on your body or if it was because you just felt that comfortable in Dottore’s arms, but you didn’t really care. As you felt Dottore move you to one of his couches, you reach out to grab onto his sleeve to keep him nearby. 

He complies, crouching to be at your level as you crack your eyes open to look at him. You murmur a quiet love you and shut your eyes contentedly, smiling softly once you feel his lips make contact with your forehead as you hear him clearly say I love you too back.

AGAIN, ENGLISH MAY BE MY FIRST LANGUAGE BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IM GOOD AT IT(AGAIN, JUST MAKE THIS CLEAR, I AM INDEED A NO SABO KID🥴)

over time, you and miguel had.. unexpectedly started to bond more and more, which surprised a lot of spiders. the two of you were both equally closed off, but even then miguel had interacted with more spider people than you had. since your arrival, miguel had been the only spider person you had interacted with due to your mistrust.

most of the spiders had decided to simply not acknowledge your new friendship with miguel..simply because miguel had scared them off for you.

with you and miguel forming a new bond, he started to notice something about you..

while you enjoyed all types of cooking and baking, you never really ate much. miguel had chosen not to acknowledge it because he thought you just had a smaller appetite than most spiders, and he also thought his judgement was just clouded due to the fact that he had to eat more than most spiders did.

maybe your portions just looked small because of his size? he glazed over the thought, but it didn't make much sense, he ignored until..

your eating habits became worse, he had now come to the realization when he decided to treat you to a hamburger and you only ate a couple of fries..days later he noticed that when you had cooked something for the rest of the spiders, you hadn't plated any food for yourself. he felt a heavy pang in his heart, he knew the signs, because he would often neglet his humger needs due to his work.

when he brought up his concern that you were not giving yourself food you simply pulled out your cards, flipping to a card that said "no" and another that said "hungry". (A/N-i refuse to believe that reader would have "not" on their card bc "no" is way more conventional so pls dont come at more for this)

miguel heavily sighed, if course he didn't believe you, he could see the fear and sadness in your eyes. when he saw that look, he knew he had to do something.

a couple days had passed and you had stopped cooking and baking all together. you were simply just sitting on a couch that was placed in the HQ living quarters for everyone to use when suddenly you saw a large figure in your peripheral vision. you instantly knew that it was miguel. (A/N: MANS LITERALLY WEARS HIS SUIT EVERYWHERE OK?😭)

once he was in front of you, you decided to look up to him, furrowing your eyebrows to indicate your confusion. he wore an expression that you still were not used to identifying.

he pinched the brige of his nose, this was going to be harder than he thought, "we have to talk, mijo".

you pulled out your phone, getting your acc app ready incase if you need to respond to whatever he was about to announce. trying to do so calmly, as to not make him worry.

you gave him a nod, as to let him know that you were listening. he moved in order to sit next to you on the couch, his weight making a significant shift on the cushions.

"i need you to look at me alright? you don't even have to give me eye contact" he didn't want to pressure you, because he knew how much stress eye contact gave you at times.

you looked in his direction and tilted your body towards him.

he took another deep breath in and out before saying, "i noticed that you've been.. eating less, i mean, eating less than you usually eat.." he trailed off, he had to think carefully about his next words.

as soon as he said this, you looked away with a pained expression on your face.

he touched your cheek, and you flinched at the movement. "hey, none of that alright? i just want to make sure that everything is fine, mijo. has there been something on your mind recently?" he removed his hand from your cheek, wanting you to be able to fully process everything.

you let out a sigh and clicked one of the words you had preset on your app. "family" the robot voice spoke.

miguel nodded, although he hadn't seen everything that had happened he knew that overall, it wasnt the best situation. there was a pause before the robot voice began to speak again.

"food. bad" miguel's heart broke, and his strong stature had softened. he wanted to hug you, but he wasn't sure if he was overstepping your boundaries.

he carefully thought over his words before speaking, "never let anyone ever tell you that good is bad for you, alright mijo? it gives you strength, and helps you live" he looked right at you, making sure you digested every word he had said. he could see you blinking tears away, but they just continued flowing.

abruptly, you began to hug him. miguel was caught by surprise at this, as you buried your head into his chest. he awkwardly patted you on the back.

"from now on, i'll help you out" he stated. he felt you nod your head in agreement, head still buried in his chest.

from then on miguel made sure to coach you during mealtimes, giving you praise when you started to eat normal portions. (a/n hes channeling his inner sport mom vibes🥰). with miguels help, you started to feel more comfortable treating yourself to small treats, and even eating infront of people without caring what they thought about you.

at this moment you realized that, miguel might be your true family.

what's a festa junina if you don't mind my asking?

i don't mind at all!!!! i love sharing stuff about brazil <3

okay SO. festa junina directly translates to "june party", and are sometimes also referred to as "festas de são juão" (saint john's parties) because we're in brazil and everything has to be related back to religion somehow LMAO. they are festivities that take place in, obv, the entire month of june, although some can last up until like, late august because by god do brazilians love a good party. traditionally, they're held to celebrate the harvest season, rain, and marriage (*cough* which is why it'd be great to celebrate it now with the spiderbit wedding on the horizon *cough*). it's brazil's second-biggest festival, second only to carnival ofc, and has very rural roots in its celebration style due to largely being a harvest/farming based celebration!

so!! festa juninas are typically held in wide open areas and absolutely COVERED in colorful decorations. largely banners, as shown above, but there are also different tents/stalls full of food, games, and other stuff for people to enjoy!! festa junina is kind of heralded as the best time for food/snacks bc it's FULL of sweets and other treats that aren't that common to find en-masse during other times of the year. as shown above, it's also super common for HUGE campfires to be lit (fogueiras) for ppl to dance around and stuff :]

due to being so heavily inspired by/created in rural areas, the standard dress code is very much of a stereotypical rural farmer (called caipira in portuguese!). the standard is for men to adorn straw hats, flannels, and working boots/pants, while women wear their hair in ribboned braids, dot freckles on their faces, and wear rustic dresses on top of it all! the dresses can be EXTREMELY over the top sometimes to the point of camp and i fucking love them so much. genuinely some of my favorite memories are shopping for dresses for festa junina.

as i said, games are a BIG part of it too! a lot of festa juninas are hosted by schools so they need stuff to entertain the kids, but honestly, as a grown adult i still will go to them in a heartbeat. they're largely the typical festival games of ring toss, three-legged races, etc, but i cannot put into words the certain Charm of them. like. by the time festa junina starts it's at least sundown, if not fully night, so all the stands are lit up by the yellow-orange glows of shitty lanterns/fairy lights and. ough. that is my heaven. (fun fact, me and my cousin once won like, a dozen goldfish from one of these. good times.)

and last, but certainly not least, i GOTTA talk about the dancing!!! we call it quadrilha, and it's kind of like square dancing, i guess? it's a very silly and over-the-top dance that's The biggest even of the night. the dance follows the story of a wedding ceremony (rehearsal? i can't recall) which again would be PERFECT for the current events on the smp.

and yeah!! there's a lot of other stuff and they can vary from region to region (i'd love for other brazilians to share things i may have missed :Oc) but overall they're just a HUGE event in brazil and for brazilian communities that really just unite everyone in one huge night (or nights) of partying!!

his scales are blue and green. they're iridescent as well, super pretty

his fins are probably on the greener side as well, and im thinking more translucent too

For the issues n stuff:

I have an issue with a lot of tiktok makeup trends due to the fact that half of them are the same thing with maybe one or two changes to them, but suddenly everyone has to 'jump on' to the trend even tho they did the same thing three videos ago.

I'm also tired of a lot of the clean girl shit simply because a lot of the people who do it make it seem like that is the only way makeup should be done. Like the whole idea that makeup should be natural or made to look just like skin or whatever is bull shit to me simply because the people who say that tend to like push the idea instead of just kinda bring it up. Im not saying everyone does, but there are a lot who do.

Another issue I have is like a lot of fancy ass brands and shit. Like a lot of these brands will release new things like eyeshadow palettes and it's only like 6-24 or so of the same nude/neutral colors that can be found in so many other palettes. I just don't really see the point in it. Also like half the time I see people paying like more than half a lower class pay check for a cosmetic product that preforms just about as well as a makeup kit from Claire's. Like what's the fucking point.

I don't like the fact that we're in the year 2024 and people sit dont widen the shade ranges for darker skin tones and shit. Im glad we're learning about all the different undertones for people and all that, but like for the love of god, can y'all quit making a total of 4-6 shades for dark skin colors and also stop making them all warm toned. I will say though, there are brands starting to get better, but I'm so tired of seeing a foundation go viral only for a POC to not find their own shade in that product.

This also goes for things outside of foundation or concealer. Face powders, bronzers, contour, blushes, lipsticks even. Like this issue goes past the more basic things. This is why I literally hate hearing about Charlotte Tilbury's pillow talk lipstick. "But what about pillow talk medium?" It can burn in hell. Also like seeing POC only have about one or two blush choices half the time is more than disappointing. The darkest bronzer of a new product that could literally be used as face powders for them, actually depressing.

Anyways yea, I feel like I've gone on long enough, people need to widen the shade ranges, it's actually not that hard.

Hello hello!!! Sorry for the late!! I wanted to put my mind into this instead of rushing it, so now I finally can!! Here we go for Kazuichi :DD -

Favorite thing about them: I think he's such a goofball!! I love to see him passionate about his talent, it's so adorable!! I really like his design (in the game) to be honest, I mean, more specifically how the colors mix together, the pink and yellow, and also his hair!! I also really enjoyed his FTEs, they were some of my favourites to do, I sadly completely glossed over Kazuichi in my first playthrough, like i barely payed any attention to him and I'm sad I didn't at least give him a chance with one FTE, bc I feel like right the first one would have made me notice him more, he's a bro type of character which I like and even though he's very insecure and doesn't trust others, his moments with Hajime are my favourites, they are so funny together. Also I thought he was very sweet in his introduction, it was one of my favourites, and I tell you, I was really almost doing at least one FTE with him in the first chapter, but the waifus were too many 😔 bros before hoes did not work. And then it's like I said, I glossed over him after that. -

Least favorite thing about them: As a character, definitely the lack of development. I was hopeful at least by the end of the game he'd accept for once he can't be with Sonia, or that he deserves better, or idk, just something? Just a little line of dialogue?! But that didn't happen and I was so disappointed. Also I feel like his character was used so much for comedy relief a lot of other things he does or that he's capable of get completely overshadowed by it, he deserved better. Now more into Kazuichi himself, I have to say I don't like characters which blindly accuse others of committing a crime with no proof, which is mostly why past chapter 1 I stopped paying attention to him due to how he behaved during the first investigation and trial. It's actually triggering for me when a character accuses another without proof, so it's very personal. It's not like I hate him bc of that, there's many characters that do that and I like them bc there's just more to them or there's even development, growth or something, but I feel like Kazuichi lacked that, and that's why I have to bring it up :( Also let's not forget Kazuichi is a pervert. Not just with Sonia but the other girls too, and it's not like I'm against a guy complimenting a girl's looks, the things that bother me are the fact he's shown to stalk a lot, be very stubborn and victimises himself whenever he doesn't get what he wants, and that's just not cool. -

Favorite line: When he gives Hajime his uhmm swimsuit, and then when Hajime refuses to wear those, Kazuichi says "What is it then?! Are you telling me you don't wanna match with me?!" I thought that was funny. Oh and in his last FTE, if we pick the option "date" and he answers with "That's right. Two people having fun at the beach will eventually get close to each other, and then... ...Wait, you and me!? What'll happen if I dream about that tonight!?". Well like I said, his interactions with Hajime like these are my favs, he's funny. -

BrOTP: Ibuki!! I feel like he and Ibuki could be such good friends, actually best friends!! Ibuki helping Kazuichi relax, be more confident, and also they'd totally talk about girls together!! But Ibuki would totally teach Kazuichi about personal space and respect towards girls. They'd support each other so much I just see it. I like to picture Kazuichi in Hajime's place for Ibuki's 4th FTE where they just swing their heads back and forth. I feel like they'd have fun together! Anddd of course I said I like Kazuichi as BrOTP with Kaito on Kaito's ask, so I have to mention Kaito here as well. Actually I discovered something new, I totally did not remember that Kazuichi said he liked rocket ships in his FTE, omg I thought that was a headcanon by the people that made those fanarts and comics of Kazuichi and Kaito together, omg it's so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!! They'd get along for sure now!!!! Awwww!!! -

OTP: Don't really have a very strong ship with Kazuichi which to call "OTP", I'm not crazy for any ships with him, but I do like a few, like for example with Hajime or Fuyuhiko. I could also see him with Chiaki, but I didn't actually analyse their dynamic at all, I just love Chiaki a lot and I think she'd be good with anyone. And..... Nagito! I was not a fan of Soumaeda until the anime, I'm sorry but I freaking love them there. In the game not so much really, but in the anime I do enjoy Soumaeda. -

NOTP: Well obviously Sounia. For so many reasons, but in summary: Sonia doesn't like him, he can't respect it, he likes and admires her, but doesn't actually get her at all and is constantly making her feel uncomfortable. Also, I don't know how I feel about Soudham. Like, I never imagined they'd be such a popular ship in the fandom and a very sweet one actually. I do not like them in canon, but the way the fandom portrays them actually makes me see the potential!! I like the fanarts and I really don't mind reading about them, but I'm talking about Soudham here under the "NOTP" section instead of the "OTP" bc really it would not be a first choice for me. I think they are sweet in the fandom, but no, I don't actually like them together in canon. -

Random headcanon: Uhhh hmmm ahhh ehh ahh hmm he makes some mechanic toys or things, or idk what to call it, but like the little robot Nekomaru for example, for his friends, it's his way of saying "I consider you my friend, I trust you". ALSO I GOTTA ADD (added after posting: Him making a cute rocket ship toy for Kaito when he begins considering him a friend and trusting him!!!!!!!!! YAHHHH) -

Unpopular opinion: I don't know if I have any unpopular opinion on him, hmmm well I think a lot of people like to reduce him to a simp, and sure he is one, but I think he deserved development and deserved better from the writers, 'cause I feel like his character could be so interesting? No actually now that I think about it, his character really had so much potential, I hate how they reduced him to comedy relief. -

Hello! I hope you're doing well. I would like to have a mystic messenger matchup please! :)). I just got back into it omg and i feel relieved and pleasantly surprised there's still people talking about this omg tysm!!

I'm a heterosexual girl and at first glance, I'm extremely shy and quiet. I'm very well mannered and polite but that's only because I don't know you that well yet and I feel hesitant to open up due to extreme trust issues. I feel like I'm really intimidating since I don't smile a lot because of this and my friends often agree with that. Once I feel comfortable with you though, it's an entirely different story 😂

I become much more warm-hearted, dorky, bubbly, and animated-like. Tons of people have commented that I'm empathetic (one of my friends told me I should be a therapist because of this), understanding, authentic, genuine, appreciative, nonjudgmental, open-minded, trustworthy, great with advice and comfort, soft hearted, compassionate, gentle, child-like, independent (to a fault), and “looks like they could kill you but actually wouldn't hurt a fly because they're the cinnamon roll of the group".

Also, I can get a bit silly and teasing from time to time with my friends, but that's only in private or when I'm with them. I'm usually calm and laid-back and to quote some people here: "you just have the vibe where people are just comfortable to be who they are with you because you really don't mind their flaws" and "she really, really, has a strong moral compass among all of us here".

I can also work well under pressure, I tend to give my best when it comes to the things I enjoy, and can surprisingly handle attention very well (Even though I despise it with my entire being because I feel so uncomfortable with it and I feel kinda drained afterwards).

And just for fun to say here, I can be really oblivious when someone has romantic intentions with me, so I'd appreciate it if someone would just spell it out for me because once I do realize it, I would either just say yes or no to them, so I can be straightforward when I need to be.

For my hobbies and interests, I love to write. I really love to write and I can't explain it just a few sentences alone. From academic papers for school, journalistic articles for the student newspaper, or to just personal stories from my own imagination, I'm just really passionate about it.

That being said, I also love to read! I don't really mind which genre it is, just give me a good plot and I'm hooked!

Aside from that, I enjoy discussing philosophy, politics, films (for example, a certain plot point or a plot hole, the cinematography, the dialogue, etc.), Music (analysis of the lyrics, progression of the notes, etc.), History, culture, shows (doesn't matter what country it's from, just please give me a good plot 😂), fashion (its history, references that I could catch on to, the structure, and my own personal taste on it if I would like to wear it myself), psychology, languages (I speak 3-4 languages and often switch whenever I'm speaking to friends and relatives. But I also can point out the quirks and give an in-depth look into it if the person is interested in what we're talking about), debate, research, art (its history, the meaning, I could just go on since I love it so much and also bc I'm not that great of an artist to begin with 😂 but i do paint from time to time).

I love listening to classical music since that's the genre of music I grew up with, but I also old vintage music from the past too! And from time to time, I also like listening to Broadway, other songs from different countries, and I have a soft spot for Disney songs too! Speaking of which, my friends say I'm like a mix of Belle, Rapunzel, and Anna when it comes to the princesses and I agree 😂.

Also, I love my friends and believe that family are the people you choose to be with and you can't live without. So, all in all, I love my family (sksks but truthfully, my heart is big to hold a lot of people in it). I would do anything for them because they're the people I would do anything to protect and lend a helping hand no matter what the hour. So, I'm really supporting and a big cheerleader to those I'm close with 😂

💘 - OK so Magnus is kind of simple. He enjoys baking and loves his girlfriend. He's been baking since forever and it's a very important part of his life (and one of the very few things he's had his whole entire life, and didn't have to give up.) He also likes Qiana because uh she's smart and she's pretty and she's nice and she's amazing and she's wonderful and she's beautiful and shes-

🌈 - Magnus is very rare case among my oc's due to the fact he's completely cishet lol. He's just a straight dude. He uses he/him most of the time, but it's VERY canon he's used to responding to it/its, but he literally hates it.

Qiana

💘 - Qiana holds the field of biology almost strangely close to her, she's very devoted to it and almost revolves her life around it. She cares about her friends, and she's absolutely horrible and showing it but she really cares about Magnus too (She doesn't really mind being called his girlfriend, but Magnus being called her boyfriend literally makes her really embarrassed about being perceived.)

🌈 - Qiana's bi. Her romantic life hadn't really gone much of anywhere more than 1st dates before she met Magnus. She uses she/they most of the time and likes that bit of androgyny she keeps when she just calls herself Dr. Roosevelt. It's a VERY SPECIFIC feeling (hmm I wonder where I got this from) but yeah she doesn't really present too feminine, they look pretty androgynous but yeah she's a girl.

Mira

💘 - Mira holds lots of things and people close to her. She really loves her family and her totally-not-her-girlfriend, and she likes magic too! She's a witch too, so she has all the typical items, the broom, and the wand, which she cherishes also. (It doesn't matter that Sylvia makes fun of how gaudy they are. Life without sparkles is no life at all.)

🌈 - GIRLKISSER. Yeah, Mira is completely sapphic and she comes to realize that throughout the story. She uses she/her, presents feminine and stuff but yeah she's gay. :p

💘 - Sylvia likes books, magic, and Mira close. She's afraid to let much more in. She has hobbies, but she's not really attached to any of them. Sylvia will not admit it but she is a literal NERD who is almost concerningly magically inclined.

🌈 - GIRLKISSER NUMBER TWO. She is well aware she is gay in a very conservative and backward society and she wears it directly on her chest and she knows no one's gonna do shit about it. She uses she/her personally but like it's not really defined as well? She doesn't really care that people mistake her for a guy? She finds it funny when people come to her expecting a man, she usually just doesn't even bother actually correcting them. She doesn't mind when people who don't know her use he/him for her? If I *try* to put it in modern terms I guess I'd call her a chapstick lesbian bc she doesn't really care all too much??? idk man

I don't really know what to say or do that isn't already being said and done. I can only say that I deeply wish that I wasn't such a coward for so long, and that I stood up for myself instead of seeking the approval of people who turned out to be bullies and abusers like I feared, and should have listened to that fear instead of feeling guilty and blaming myself for feeling that way.

There's so much I could say but I don't want it to be in bad taste.

All I can say is that if you think “proship/anti” discourse is stupid, that’s because IT IS. It’s fucking stupid and shouldn’t exist. But the reason so many of us DO take it seriously is because fantis/anti-shippers take it very seriously.

Antis take it so seriously, in fact, that they see it fit to stalk, doxx, harass and ruin a person’s life over what ships or art they like/create.

They take it so seriously that they would rather someone be harmed or killed rather than dare to enjoy dark, taboo or uncomfortable fiction.

The absurdity of all this is what makes it so terrifying.

There will never be an excuse for spreading someone's personal art around to slander them in a dangerous climate, and there is nothing wrong with liking kinky and taboo and weird art if it's not targeting anyone. Likewise, there is nothing wrong with liking any and all ships. (yes, even whichever ones you're thinking of right now.)

Especially, especially when that was done with the intent of getting someone denied from work and falsely accused of being "dangerous" over their personal cartoon drawings. Especially when it was done by jealous ex-friends who already had a bone to pick. Especially when the person they targeted was disabled with chronic health issues, and had their healthcare tied to their employment.

Like. idk what to say bc it's not about me, and all of this is bigger than me. I could go on and on about "what could I have said back in the day that would've stopped some of this?" but idek. I didn't even know about all this until after the fact, but holy fuck.

All I want to say to the people who hurt those they call “friends” over fiction is this:

5'7 (i think, maybe taller?) with long brown hair, blue eyes, and a few ear piercings. i literally stabbed myself in the ear with a safety pin for one of them. i get freckles, esp in spring and summer. a/n i wanted to write smtg to distract everyone from the- eherm, requests. i havent been able to write them bcs i just got into wano arc🚶‍♀but i also wanted to write a little smtg for valentine's day even tho that was days ago. but enjoy anyway <3

you could see franky, wearing a cute pink outfit with a single rose in his hand. that's right, today is valentine's day.

franky got down to one knee before saying some stuff that you couldn't hear due to your distance. robin was smiling, accepting the rose from him and leaving a soft kiss to his cheek. you could tell that he was overjoyed while sanji was gripping into his hair, saying how franky doesn't deserve his angelic robin.

you heave out a sigh, wishing how that was zoro and you instead. the ship was currently docked at a small island. you had asked almost everyone where zoro's whereabouts might be and they all gave you the same answer. he was out in town for something. no one knew what something it was. or at least, that was what they told you.

you had a suspicion that something was definitely going on. because when you asked sanji, he blurted, "that moss head doesn't deserve you,"

but when you asked what he meant by that, his attitude quickly changed back to his "swooning" mode. you sighed again. maybe you should also take your time and went around the island. especially with how you don't have a partner to spent the day with.

before you could even get off the ship, zoro had already come back from his short exploring. you thought that something was off. but then you saw the paper bag that he was holding with hand. something was off.

"zoro? what did you buy?" you asked, clearly in confusion. zoro could feel his face slowly heating. though trying to save his further embarrassment, he cleared his throat before looking at you straight in the eye. "i bought... something,"

everyone kept on using the word something. but what was that something? you questioned yourself. "anyway, meet me at the crows nest tonight," he said as he walked pass you.

after dinner, you immediately went up to the crows nest, knowing that you'd get a lot of alone time to think.

before you know it, zoro was already there with you. you were too caught up in your thoughts that you didn't realize he was calling for you. "z-zoro..."

the air was tense, an uncomfortable silence lingering in the air. it seems that both of you are too nervous to talk to each other. alone. but why would he be nervous? that was so out of character of him...

finally, he cleared his throat, breaking the uncomfortable silent. "i uhh... saw this when i was in town. thought that you might like it," the green haired male said nervously. in his hand, it was a beautiful charm bracelet.

honestly i could see his jealousy causing disagreements/arguments sometimes

so he's always worried that you might be looking for other options even when you're just having a friendly conversation with someone

initially you'd tell him to give you space and not be so jealous all the time

but when you actually realise where the jealousy is coming from, you'd feel bad

it would hurt your feelings that ten would think you'd ever cheat on him or flirt while you were dating him

and it would probably take a while for you to understand where each other are coming from

ten is really good at texting you regularly

the texts are...all over the place sometimes, but at least they're consistent

likes to send you pictures of funny things he's seen that day

like maybe a funny hat someone's wearing or a dog with a colourful vest on

also writes really long paragraphs about embarrassing things he's done today

you never get a good morning text

it's always something like "i tripped and accidentally pushed a pregnant lady down the subway stairs and then ran away because i didn't know what to do"

around 40% of his social media is pictures of you two together

he takes really good selfies of you two together though

i think ten would probably prefer to speak with you in english or korean, simply because i feel like he is the most comfortable with them

if your native language was something other than that, i feel it could go one of two ways

either he'd just say "fuck it, what's adding another language to my collection" and learn it really quick

orrrr he would try his best for a little while but be too tired from speaking literally four other languages and just kinda eventually give up lol

it's not because he doesn't want to, it's because he can talk to you in a language you both already know and so he's not worried about a language barrier

ten would be the first one to say "i love you"

you wouldn't be doing anything exciting or unusual when he said it

you'd just be cuddled up on the couch and he'd just say it out of nowhere

mind you this dude is hella whipped for you, so you're not really surprised lol

Hi! I have a totally random question lol. I've seen a few people compare Pynch to Wolfstar (and Adam and Ronan to Lupin and Sirius as people too). What I don't get it folks saying that Wolfstar was a 'better' (stronger? more interesting? idk) ship than Pynch. I mean..? I don't see it, personally. What am I missing here?

👋 hi! i’m gonna begin this (i’m guessing it’s gonna get long—i’ve actually filled two pages of handwritten notes to try and make sense of my many opinions about this) with a disclaimer: my approach to shipping is very different when it comes to pynch and other fandoms. normally, i’m not actually a very active shipper—when i read fics for other fandoms i normally look for plot and feelings and, because most of the time there’s shipping involved, i usually don’t mind if a ship is there and might actually enjoy it but it’s not something i tend to go out of my way to search for. i just don’t usually ship fictional couples romantically! it’s all the same for me if they’re canon or not (though if they’re canon they will have more canon scenes together so that might help me to eventually ship them? idk i’m just the least romantic person you can find out there 🤣)

so that’s why i haven’t read a lot of wolfstar fics (i think maybe 2 or 3 where the focus was on their relationship? i remember a quite lovely texting au) and even less meta—when i read hp fics i will look for explorations of harry’s abuse, which is what gives me feelings, and in those wolfstar is usually there bc they adopt harry or something like that.

that said, and having therefore canon!wolfstar in mind (perhaps the similarities are stronger in fanon, i just don’t know enough to say!), i really don’t see why people would compare them either (apart from the fact that they’re popular mlm ships?) and i do have to agree with you that pynch is a more interesting ship (for me!)

and, yes, i can see there are a few traits remus and adam might share if you squint, but imo once you start really thinking about it they’re two very different characters! they’re both said to be poor on text, but in adam’s case that comes from the family he was born into and if i remember correctly remus’ dad was middle class (i can’t remember exactly but i think he worked for the ministry?) and remus was poor only because he couldn’t hold a job due to him being a werewolf. idk if people’s comparisons go further and they see cabeswater as a parallel to the werewolf thing? but if that’s the case adam made that choice himself and he embraced it eventually and it’s actually crucial for the resoultion of the series’ plot! remus being a werewolf was great for book 3′s plot twists and for shunning him out of society and little else. personality-wise i guess they’re both smart? i do think remus is more the type to give up after a while but 🤷‍♀️ (oh is it bc if wolfstar were canon it’d be implied that remus is bisexual bc of tonks??)

now when people compare ronan and sirius they only look at the surface which makes me super mad! they say they’re the same just bc they’re brash? and wear leather? and were born in rich families?? but sirius was abused as a child and left his family bc he was the odd one out (which in the lynch family would actually be more accurate to say declan is??) and ronan’s trauma comes from a wildly different place! arguably niall (and aurora? apparently from that little snippet of mister impossible i haven’t read yet) were also abusive to him but definitely not in sirius’ way? (that’s actually closer to adam’s family’s brand of abuse!)

i’ve also seen people say the gangsey’s dynamic is the same as the marauders’! and i’m sorry but i really think that’s not true! for starters we only see the marauders as a whole in flashbacks! and not even then bc lily was not part of the group yet (i guess people compare her to blue bc they’re the only girls??) imo the marauders (or what we see of them) do not inspire healthy friendship feelings! james is the leader and a big asshole and only sees sirius as his equal—he is very happy with peter’s (apparent) worship and i guess they all were super happy to believe remus was the traitor bc they didn’t trust him enough (a werewolf will always be a werewolf) and everyone completely oversaw peter (which i guess is why he did what he did but he’s too plain of a character to have had believable motivations when he turned to voldemort) and he was considered second-class among the group. also that scene with snape in book 5, where we see them all together, is not the gangsey’s dynamic at all??

anyway. back to wolfstar/pynch. the only canon moments in which they give me similar vibes are, for wolfstar, in book 5 when harry firecalls grimauld place from umbridge’s office (i think it was that moment) and we kind of can guess sirius and remus are spending time together at the house and have this caramaderie going (that i guess could be interpreted as shippy) and, for pynch, back in trb when ronan is driving adam to the trailer park for the last time and he says: “man, you don’t have to go back in there” (and i remember thinking in my first read something long the lines of “aw, they are friends after all!).

so. because adam and ronan are part of the main cast of their series they are more flashed out as character (i’ll always think sirius and remus did have potential but everything was too tangled in the plot and, besides, hp is harry’s story!) and i actually do care more about what happens to them as individual characters! but i also ship them! their relationship and their dynamic simply appeals more to my personal tastes! i believe they are perfect for each other and i could read a thousand alternative first meetings and soulmate aus with them as protagonists and i’d never get bored.

as of wolfstar, well, as i said i don’t mind if i go into a fic and they’re a couple in there (they’re cute, sure!), and they’re great friends and obviously care for each other, but we do see too little of them together and how they would counter their respective differences for me to say they’re a perfect couple (they might have been in a different universe and i’m sure there are plenty of fics out there that explore that, which i personally have not read simply bc i lack the motivation to do so).

tl;dr: i like adam and ronan more as separate characters and i just love the dynamic they have in canon, which is why i enjoy reading/writing about them as a ship. imo, wolfstar had potential but hp was not about them and if people say they ship them i nod as i do when a friend tells me irl they’re seeing someone new and i hope they make each other happy.

perhaps someone who’s more deeply in the wolfstar fandom can add a different view to this?
