working on some writing

currently super into genshin impact; so a bit of a story time. about a year and a half ago, i made a genshin character and started working on a story with him in it. he's one of the fatui harbingers (this was before it was released that all slots of the harbingers were filled and had appearances), and when i dug him up again about three months ago, i abandoned him because i realised that obviously...... there was nothing i could do, the slots were taken and for some reason i was really strict about remaining lore-accurate in all of my writings or work. i've since abandoned that slightly; you can never remain one hundred percent accurate in the world of genshin lol. well, i just dug up a fanfiction i was working on with said oc, as well as tartaglia and diluc. its actually an interesting premise, and i actually wrote it really well (shocking as this was at a time my writing was... lacklustre), so i'm considering keeping it. i had this idea of 'backup harbingers' since there are only eleven, and there are a lot of commedia del'arte characters. so here's the sitch: i want to work on this story and publish it on AO3, but i need some help with characters. i want to make three 'backups', alongside my character. i was mainly looking at coviello, burattino, and lelio, and i'd be open to having suggestions for designs and such for each! (my character is taking the spot of brighella) so, if anyone has any ideas, feel free to lmk and comment, or dm me! feel free to branch into any of the nations because i think it'd be cool if there was one who was stationed in fontaine or even in one of the current nations. thankz all!

seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything

#i personally like to not be doing things constantly at all times. it stresses me out #i know there are ppl who thrive on cosntant activity #but me i like to chill out. #and the problem then becomes that i only ACTIVELY remember to do work and Find More Work To Do when im stressed #at the thought that others might want to see me working #if im ever relaxed i just dont look for stuff to do #catch 22 of modern work culture which permeates even ostensibly noncapitalist structures like public libraries #for instance: will it really kill anybody if the books get shelved by me now after a very busy day? #or shelved tomorrow morning by. well probably me since i'll be the one at the desk #not in the slightest #but it was work that wasnt being immediately done by me. therefore it was incorrect behavior #that i failed to identify because my instinct is to relax when not immediately presented with a Situation #this got me labeled as 'having no initiative' by my dad from a very early age #and even as an adult i still feel like im a child with no initiative
