Hello everyone! Thank you all for your help with the GMMTV Kissing Multiverse project so far. I thought I would give an update.

Poll Update

I enlisted all of your help deciding if the WaiKorn sorta kiss from the Bad Buddy x ATOTS Our Skyy 2 episodes actually involved lip touching and if the HeartLiMing kiss from Moonlight Chicken should be included.

The results are in: you voted that Jimmy and Drake's lips do NOT touch, therefore their kiss will be NOT be counted in this project. The HeartLiMing poll resulted in an exact tie (!!!) so I am here to be the tie breaker - upon careful review, if we don't see the lips touch, the kiss doesn't count (I think that will be easier for decision-making in the long run). 2. Jojo has an... outsized impact on the number of kissing pairs. He directed 5 of the top 9 shows with the most different kissing pairs - and roughly 17% of all the shows analyzed - but his shows contain about 30% of kisses present in the data set (note: I am just looking at kissing pair iterations here not at unique kissing pairs, e.g., Phuwin/Pond are a pair in two shows (once in a Jojo show and once in a non-Jojo show), so they are counted twice. Otherwise I would have to think about in what show/under which director a kissing pair first originated, how many different shows/directors they've kissed under... this section is mostly a quick exercise in showing how Jojo has a lot of different kissers in his shows so I'm not trying to be that statistically accurate.)

The median number of "different kissing pairs per show" of a Jojo show is 3.38, compared to a median of only 1.69 "different kissing pairs per show" in non-Jojo shows.

3. There were more same gender kissing pairs than mixed gender kissing pairs, though not by much. This may also reflect the data set used (I know I am more familiar with QLs than het GMMTV shows)

Because I keep forgetting to post it during the day and I scroll through tumblr at obscene hours of the night now, I might as well do it now.

Recently I finished painting up my Ork Combat Patrol, and I'm really proud of it! It looks pretty good seeing as how I painted most of them with artist acrylics and craft paints, though now that I've drank the miniature paint (specifically Vallejo) kool-aid, I will never want to go back. But that's enough rambling, so here they are!

Lore under the cut, if you're into that

Da Pink Plundras lead by their fearsome Kaptin Arrvyrsa da Kunnin' are a band of Freebootaz that wander the stars and plunder the worlds of whatever unfortunate systems the tides of the warp decide to spit them out in. Known for their tendency to loot and salvage as much as a self respecting Deffskull, with the cunning brutality and brutal cunning to match the Goffiest Goffs and the most tactical Blood Axe, Arrvyrsa sails his ship into the warp supposedly at "Gork (or Mork's) will", trusting in the Great Green Gods to send him and his crew wherever they can get into the most trouble.

A bit unorthodox, but common for a Freeboota Kaptin, Arrvyrsa happily sells his services and his crew to whatever or whoever can pay his extortionate fees, impress him in a display of cunning wiles or brutal violence, or indulge his hunger for battle. It would not be uncommon to his crew to fight alongside the humans of both Chaos and the Imperium, begrudingly with the T'au, and skeptically with the Aeldari. Though he learned his lesson about turning his back on a Drukhari after an unfortunate incident.

Garrin Skullsmasha, his right hand Nob and his most trusted scallywag, leads his Butchaz with such cunning and ferocity that whenever Arrvyrsa needs a job done quickly, quietly, and brutally, Garrin is the one he sends on his way. Though he offered him his own suit of mega armor, the Nob refused, preferring to stick with his Boyz over getting a fancy suit of armor. Dragmaw was the ship navigator, weirdboy worth his salt and then some. Which was important, as he always started hollering and screaming about some "Gravewalker" and an "Aeldari with a bad temper" while blowing the brains out of whatever poor Boyz were stuck taking care of him.

Ol' Pinkie was a tough Nob, as loyal as a Squig and as dumb as one too, charging into battle with such ferocity and anger that Gork must have surely smiled upon him. When Bogguts, the big mek, told him he could be even stompier and killy-er, he leaped at the opportunity. Literally, he dove feet first into the Deffdread. Now he's known as Ol' Pinkie, mostly because it's the only name he'll respond to ever since all the circuitry fried his brain. Now he tesrs through the enemy with such ferocity that one could mistakenly assume that there's a rabid squig piloting it.

The orks of Da Squigeon Squad were seen as odd, even by the misfit standards of the Plundras. They were recruited from a Blood Axes warband and were highly regimented and disciplined; the only requirements that Arrvyrsa had for his airforce. Flying in their rickety scrap Deffkoptas, the three members of Squigeon Squad act as fast hitting nuisances in the backline, firing off barrages of rockets with psychotic glee.

Now they wander the stars, routinely crashing their ship and spending months or even years to plunders and loot until they rebuild their ship and take off once more into the great unknown. Arrvyrsa has been making some comments about how great it'd be to get into a fight with "da stunty boyz" in the Leagues of Votann.

World Building Proposal: Let me know if this vibes with what you and your friends have got so far:

Archmagos Von Kuronos has set aside sections of Ineptus Anser's surface for "Development by Off-World Benefactors." These areas are FAR from his home in the capital hive city. They were also formerly the domains of some annoying challengers to the Archmagos authority. Now they are the homes to the following three groups:

A tau expeditionary group led by a water caste spy-mistress and her ethereal wife. Their relationship is forbidden but they don't care. The ethereal never wanted to be a leader, she was just born into the job, so she lets her wife call the shots. This has resulted in a lot of support for water caste projects while everyone else gets secondary priority. The other castes are getting a bit disgruntled by this favoritism but are too paranoid to act, because of the spies. Life for humans within their territory is almost utopian, with conditional access to food, shelter and health-care. The Tau pay their dues to the Archmagos by importing food to his hive.

Ork Mek-boy clan called "Da Scrappa 'Eads" that are more interested in tinkering with "Tekmologee" than doing a waaaaugh. Scrappa'Eads own several reclamation facilities, a squig-power plant, and an "Aka-dumb-me fer Runts!" Because of mandatory enrollment in the academy, the vast majority of the orks are Mek-Boys and Bionorks. Runts that attempt to escape their education, as well as rebellious human slaves, will get arrested and imprisoned by The Git-Catchers, a grot and squig police department. Speaking of squigs, the orks were able to breed the beasts to be able to convert toxic waste into high quality fuel. Which is what they use to pay rent to Kuronos.

Chaos warband consisting of a Iron Warrior Warpsmith, an Alpha Legion Biomancer, a thrice-bound Daemonhost known as The Guardian and The Host, and a Word Bearers Preacher. The four (five) of them had come into possession of thousands of mysterious artifacts from raiding a space hulk. They needed some place in the middle of nowhere to sort, test, and store their loot, and so they chose Ineptus Anser. Archmagos Von Kuronos has been very accommodating to the war band, only demanding that he paid in artifact testing data in exchange for use of facilities.

So this is what I've got. I understand if it's too much and you won't use any of it. But hopefully you enjoyed reading it.
