he might find you curled on the couch, quiet, trying to breathe out the something in your chest that writhes and constricts, or in tears, but he won't ask, only sit quietly with you, lean against you, the weight of him enough to reassure you of his presence. maybe you reach for him, curl into the hollow of his body, and he'll let you, hold you until the tears stop, or you can feel your hands again, or you fall asleep, to the steady rhythm of his heart.

you'll wake, or look at him, and he'll speak, then, maybe look back at you with those iridescent eyes that you love, as he asks, softly, if you're feeling better, if you want to talk about it.

he'll keep you company, either way, listening. there is a steadiness in the weight of his arms around you, in the even beat of his heart against your back. you'll have to move, eventually, one of your legs falling asleep under you, and you'll both laugh, and shift. he gently disentangles himself from you, to get you something to drink. you settle back down, curled around each other, talk quietly until the sunlight changes.

I think that because of the wide fandom usage, it’s easy to forget that Mike being the “heart” of The Party is not a universal fact. Canonically, yes, it is a fact. To Will. And to Will alone, as he is the only one expressing such in the van scene. We as the audience are able to see that, so it feels like an overall fact, but at the end of the day, it’s an intimate love confession and profession (with two potential onlookers given the situation). So sure, maybe Jonathan and Argyle know about this, too, but as far as we’ve seen, only Will believes that Mike is the “heart.” No one else believes in and has expressed this type of love for Mike. It’s only from Will.

So any emphasis that the production team makes - in social media posts, in merchandising, in promotion, in anything. Mike being called or shown as “the heart” is always a reminder that Will’s feelings are valued in the show and that his love for Mike is worth talking about. And that, my friends, is quite beautiful, if you ask me. Happy pride month.

I love Ghost with light brown eyes that catch the sunlight perfectly, makes them look golden, I also like him with dark and fathomless brown eyes that's downright intimidating to look AND I also like Ghost with rusty brown eyes that look vaguely red if you don't focus too closely. Anyway, I love brown eyes (especially his design choices).

Despite the DNA of aquatic species being used for her genetic manipulation, Khare is still an obligate airbreather and must surface for oxygen eventually. That being said, she can hold her breath for an absurdly long time, her metabolism having slowed to a crawl to the point where she can stay submerged for extended periods when necessary.

#🌈 || musings #🌈 || headcanons #Not sure if I wrote this one before but most of the species used in her DNA make up are also airbreathers #Electric eels and salamanders both!#Her mammalian traits can't be overwritten so easily so lungs are still an essential body part #She can shut down temporarily though #Keep oxygen going in her system for longer if need be #The longest period she's held her breath is roughly one hour #If pushed it could be quite a few more #But eventually she'd need to take a breath #I did a tiny amount of writing today and tackled some drafts #Got over some cruddy feelings also so here's hoping I knock out some actual stuff tomorrow!#Thanks for being patient with me lovelies I know I've been a hassle #Feeling better now though #Decompressed a lot today and made a bunch of new icons!
