Dude really I feel this and agree wholeheartedly.

The most compelling thing to me is concepts of MC having a life outside of the brothers. I feel it'd also be good because they've experienced and broadened their horizons so having the life experience to address all the Devildom Baggage they're dragged into.

I like the idea of MC having a family and friends, maybe they were finally gonna get their dream job, or even propose/confess to a special someone or have a child/pet. Then suddenly POOF- Fuck your dreams 7 Stunted Idiots need you to fix their Baggage. - And you do fix it because the love of your life gives you the strength to help them and get back to the human world.

100% more compelling than an MC who's just a stray adopted by dysfunctionals.

Ok we always see the perspective of MC goes home to human world and misses the brothers and devildom in general but what about something else? I like the idea of MC missing the human world during their entire stay in the devildom and just human things in general. I think it’d be cool to see stories depict mc texting their friends at home or speaking to their mom on FaceTime. MC requesting to go home so they can go to a doctor’s appt or have Christmas break off. MC really wanting to go home for a concert. MC actually being human and not some nonchalant being that doesn’t care their life was uprooted unfairly.

Exactly.... I mean Season 1 wasn't perfect, it really fell off at the time travel, but it was good and had so much potential and direction.

But look at now. We got 2/3 seasons of crap and now ANOTHER game of crap. I've never seen a game shoot itself in the foot this badly and I used to really dislike FE Fates: Revelations lol.

Yo I've not touched Obey Me in a long while (Half Debated trying to write fics or just do art-) but honestly would not put it past them.

Because holy shit I've never seen a game company shit the bed and shoot itself in the foot this badly before with their previous choices.

I mean OG Obey Me is so charming and fun then you do Nightbringer which puts a sour taste in everyone's mouths and chases fans like me (who just want to enjoy the damn game you put out-) away with bad writing and complacent story telling.

You have cheap stories, next to impossible leveling, cards that don't even matter, ugly ass 3D models-
