like, probably not. BUT if you're worried just tag all your self reblogs with something like "#self reblog" or "#posting again". people can filter out a specific tag, so they don't have to see it!

reblogs do a great job of crediting the original poster. if an artist posts stuff here they want you to reblog it. just make sure that if the blog you get stuff from isn't the original artist or poster, that they have credit and permission listed in the post (you're smart, just be careful).

very occasionally stuff will be specifically marked with a request not to reblog (mostly really personal stuff). you'll find these warnings in the tags, usually.

last question, i swear - what if i want to save/share/reblog/post stuff that doesn't match my ~vibe~?

make a sideblog! thats what sideblogs are for - they're for collecting a different vibe then your main blog and keeping your nasty meme mommy content from getting contaminated with all your visual asmr food reblogs.

you can have as many sideblogs as you want, and you can just let them breathe without worrying about how popular they get or whatever. and hey, no reason you can't self reblog sideblog content to let your followers know they can visit another blog for different stuff (including SPICY stuff uwu).

Hiii again. Maybe the question will be a little off-topic, but can you give advice on how to start your blog? It's just a little scary, especially if you're not confident in your skills, reactions, and the like. Especially if it's something like tword blog thing. I'd also like to ask how you started your blog. Was it difficult? Love u, you bun byee (Disappears..)

I can try, though... it kinda depends on what your goals are, I guess?

(Hoo, boy, this got long. Here's a cut for you!)

I'm not, you know... an expert, or anything. I went into this with no expectations, just a few months ago. I just wanted someplace to post my art and look at art from others... I figured making connections would be nice, but I had no reason to believe it would happen. I never expected any of this -- making friends, having this platform, having people engage with my art, especially to this extent -- to happen. I still feel astounded, and very grateful, about it every single day.

For the record, when I made my first blog, I knew nothing about art. I just knew I wanted to make art, and I was determined to learn, despite having no background in it at all. Yes, it was (is) quite difficult, I'm not going to sugarcoat it... I do still get frustrated, at times! But at the end of the day, it's so rewarding for me, so it's always worth the effort.

I created my main blog, first. My main blog is not tickling-related. I just posted random art I made, reblogged whatever I liked, just kinda puttered around with no goal or direction in mind. Eventually I started making tickling art, and I wanted someplace separate to post that, so I made a sideblog for tickling (this one). Now, tickling art is 90% of what I make. I would do some things differently if I had this to do over again... like, I do often wish this was my main blog, for example.

Without knowing what your goals are, what kind of content you want to make, etc... here's the general advice I can give you.

1. First... make/offer the content YOU want to see. Your blog should be for you, not everyone else... in other words, don't be disingenuous just to drive engagement or make friends. It will burn you out, and the connections you make over things you're not really into (if it even happens) won't be very lasting.

2. Think about what kind of content you want to offer and what kind of interaction you want to have with the community. Maybe you don't create anything and you just want to reblog stuff, that's okay, too! This may change over time, but it's helpful to have general goals in mind when you begin.

3. Physically set up your blog. Your profile picture, colors, banner, etc should represent you and the vibe you want people to feel when they look you up. It's nice to have a description (or a pinned post, or both) detailing how you like to be addressed and what kind of content people can expect to see. It's helpful to look at blogs you like, to get inspiration for your formatting.

4. If your goal is to make friends and engage with other people, reblogging stuff you like with notes in the tags is a good way to let people know you're really into what they're making! Most people get pretty excited to see friendly, encouraging, or just pleasant notes on their work. It doesn't mean they're gonna instantly be your friend, obviously... but it does indicate to them that you have the same interests at least, especially if you do it frequently.

5. Personally, if I'm really into someone's characters and I feel like I'd click with a creator, I like making fanart for them! Most artists love that, and starting an interaction over that kind of thing gives both of you something to talk about... which is really helpful if you are shy or awkward, like a lot of artists are. If it isn't clear how they feel about fanart, it's best to ask, first. Personally, when I draw someone's characters for the first time, I don't draw tickling scenes unless I know for certain that's okay.

If you're not an artist, obviously you don't have to do this... it's just what I do, because I am also shy and awkward and it's what works for me.

Blog Meta vs Tumblr Meta

When I started this tumblr, I wanted to post about game development and game design. I followed other game developers, and I posted about game design, WiP screenshots and art assets, and links to finished games. Later I started an aesthetic sideblog (reblub.tumblr.com), and posted some programming tutorials to this tumblr. Programming is not really something that interests followers who want to know when I have released a new game, or who want to reblog WiP pixel art. Then I stopped worrying and broadened the range of topics on this main blog to opinions on computer literacy, teaching programming, and contributing open source. It's my blog and you can't stop me. I might post some cooking recipes. Maybe it even helps promote my games.

If I wanted to go all-out on promoting my games, I would post a lot more visually interesting WiP stuff, and game design ideas that are directly related to games I am promoting, broken down so players who don't design their own games understand them. I would have to manually cross-post everything on mastodon, twitter, instagram, tiktok, and so on.

If I wanted to go all-out about programming tutorials, I should probably host them somewhere else. The NPF tumblr post editor does not do code blocks, or maths. I could make a series of hyperlinked pages and host them on my own domain, or I could record some screencasts and sell a course, but not on tumblr.

I don't want to do either of those anyway. I want to keep this tumblr relatively noise-free, I don't want to be my own full time social media manager posting gifs every day, and I don't want to sell webinars or online courses. I just want to keep making games, occasionally.

When tumblr enabled ads on blogs, and not just on the dashboard, I noted the lack of kickbacks for blog posters.

When Posts+ was announced, I thought about posting more gamedev tutorials. There is probably a small audience out there who would want to learn GameDev from me, but they might not be enough people to make it financially viable, and they are probably not willing and able to pay me enough. The people who are on tumblr already don't want to buy gamedev tutorial content, and when they do, they don't want to do so on tumblr.

With every new tumblr feature, I noted that it doesn't really help me write one or two posts a month. It doesn't help me publish or monetise the kind of content I want to write. The tip jar is more compatible with the way content spreads through tumblr than posts+, but it's not what I need.

The only way I can monetise a gamedev tumblr is by posting viral gifs of my game, and directing them to other platforms:

getting people to wishlist the game on Steam

promoting my itch.io page

promoting a Patreon

promoting a podcast

promoting a KickStarter

selling branded t-shirts

funnelling them into my Discord

There is no good way to monetise devlog content, game development tutorials, or long-form blog posts on tumblr.

This feels mildly concerning, but maybe it's okay. I know that many game developers started a Patreon for their podcast, a YouTube channel, a twitch stream, or a TikTok, only for that to become a larger source of revenue than their game sales. As they work on their next title, and try to drum up hype for Steam wish lists, cross-promote other games, appear on podcasts, the sales from their last game dwindle, and the revenue from YouTube ads and twitch donations grows. They are basically professional YouTubers at that point, or professional programming coaches, but without the actual game in the end, it doesn't work.

On the other hand, tumblr can still monetise me. I could decide to blaze some pretty screenshots, some .gifs, and gain followers and wishlists.

I don't know where this leaves artists on tumblr though. Tumblr is full of pixel artists who take commissions. Tumblr is full of old school oil on canvas artists. Their interests aren't aligned with the platform. Tumblr doesn't earn anything when they do commissions, and the artists don't earn anything when ads are shown on the dash next to their reblogged original content.

With all this in mind, tumblr live makes some sense.

In the mean time, I'll have a look at cohost, and I might re-work some of my drafts that require elaborate formatting into a longer-lived web site. And maybe I'll write some games!

hi! coming to you for advice/opinion because i feel like you'd have a good answer! i run a dc blog and i really enjoyed it and the ways it's opened me up so far. the only kicker is, it's a side blog and my main blog is a very specific tumblr niche so all my asks and follows come from my main.

i'm struggling a little with making connections in the fandom community because when i send an ask/follow they see that account and don't know i run a sideblog! i don't know how to make it so people realize that if it makes sense 😕

i thought about kind of leaving a "from (sideblog username)" as an ending on asks so that people know but that feels really silly 🤣

I don't think that's silly at all! Especially if people in the DC fandom are more familiar with your DC blog than your main blog. On the other hand, you could also ask under you main blog, then reblog the ask when it gets answered under your side blog.

I think I've been on Tumblr since 2015 (I am too lazy to scroll back and find my first post to know for certain), and I lurked on the site earlier than that before I got a blog. It has been in the last year and a half that I have gotten active and actually talked and interacted with people on this hellsite (affectionate). Before, I had a weird hang up in my head that no one wanted to talk to me, I was just some weirdo on the Internet who had to many Thoughts about my favorite blorbos, and why they should kiss and Be Gay together. For me, joining Discord servers and actually participating in the conversations in them helped me get over this thought. I realized that there were entire servers that had people thinking, talking, writing, and arting about these favorite blorbos too! And then I started following them on their Tumblrs, and then they messaged me. And I would message them back. And sometimes I would be the one starting a conversation instead of the other way around. Also, I love those ask and tag games that people do. It's another way for me to get out of my shell a little bit more, and participate in the fandom.

It's up to you how active you want to be in your fandom. I've leaned that it's up to you how you shape your fandom experience on the Internet. How active you are depends on how much effort you are willing to put in. I am not an artist, so I can't make the some of the wonderful fanart you see online. While I enjoy thinking and daydreaming about scenarios/AUs for my blorbos (I currently have Superbat au about podcasting/video essays that I have been rotating around in my head), I'm not disciplined enough to sit down to write out my thoughts to create stories. What I do like to do is read all the lovely fanfics that other talented people write, and make fanfic rec lists for others to enjoy. Fic rec lists helped me get into reading fanfiction when I started getting into fandoms and shipping my beloved blorbos. I really enjoyed finding those treasure troves of fanfics and diving right in to read. So, making my own fic rec lists is my way of giving back to the fandom community that I love.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if leaving a signature of your side blog at the bottom of your ask makes you feel more comfortable to participate in your fandom, do it! If that, or reblogging the ask to your side blog, or something else helps you be more active in a fandom you enjoy and love, I don't see why it's a problem. I wish you success in whatever you do :)

It’s not like I have much of an audience regardless but my miraculous sideblog does have the most followers and my miraculous fanart does get the most attention. From a personal organizational standpoint it’s nice to have that partition from all my other reblogs but I kinda put myself in a corner because not only am I stuck with the separate blog that doesn’t allow diverse content, not even multi fandom, but also I chose a really generic url with no identifying features so I feel like people wouldn’t remember/recognize me. That my art style isn’t super consistent doesn’t help? Sometimes I feel like the privacy and anonymity afforded by using many different names is nice but when I start to think of my future and how I want to be able to sustain myself by selling my art it does my head in. every artist with dreams of independent success who gets their start in fandom (not that I’ve gotten much of a start at all) goes through that struggle and fear that no one will care about their original work; that is, that no one will like their work for its own merits. I need to make a name that can be a brand. I made the new art only blog and signature for that purpose but even then I remember how on tumblr likes and follows come only from the main blog. The other thing is how I think some drawings are not “good enough” for the Art Blog and I want to post them separately so I can have an extra quality filter. I guess “I’m a little attached to it after all these years” is not really a good reason against changing my main url (genuinely never thought of doing that until just now so I might do that)? I mean I don’t even hardly have social connections on main so it wouldn’t be a big deal.

Anyway lately i feel like I want to open commissions but I think that no one would buy. I know I’d probably have to underprice by a lot to start but even when I said for free I didn’t get many requests in my askbox so.. I used to think I should wait to hit a certain follower count like say 1000, or until I reliably get over a certain number of notes (Idek what makes sense, I rarely get over 200) before trying but I have no clue when I can hit those metrics and besides that seems silly when I remember I won’t lose anything by opening comms even if no one is interested now.

I just never really understood how to “do social media” it’s exhausting to try and I know I should but it’s frustrating and confusing. I know a lot of it is luck too, but I can’t help feeling like I’m always doing something wrong, or everyone else knows something I don’t.

I've thought about it, and as it happens, this, supposedly my personal blog, mostly ends up being current politics, worldly problems, random shit and in the end 0 of my art and many many things that make me feel like nothing good's happening in the world compared to all the bad.

I don't want to stop reblogging psas and calls for help, because then i'll feel like a shit person, but also... this blog isn't really a personal space for me like i thought it would be. I'm stuck between the potential guilt at not being proactive enough, and the feeling of just wanting to have my happy place with the things that I make and that I like.

As it stands, i don't want to drag myself down further. I have a 5 followers on this sideblog, it's unlikely that people are going to be helped by the stuff I reblog, and I refuse to become a news channel.

what inspired me to start a whump blog...

ooh I'm trying to remember honestly. I think I got into whump and then felt a bit odd posting it on my main so made a sideblog, and then decided to post fic on it later on. I'd been posting whumpy/angsty fic on ao3 for longer than I knew whump was a thing, but finding the community on tumblr has been fab. I havent written much at al in recent months/years, but I do take a lil quiet pride in keeping the blog updating regularly and trying to seek out new and "undiscovered" whump art and media to reblog for folks, alongside the popular stuff! but mostly it's just fun and I'm glad I did start it!

so I answered this one in my last ask response. just trying to think if I missed any tropes... the hidden injury trope is of course a great one. oh I love 'enemy turning up at the door wounded'. honestly I tried pretty much every trope and I think it just depends on tone and vibe for me. I'm definitely more interested in the care taking side of whump though, the recovery process rather than the whumper/torture side, though I sure enjoy a good, whumpy gif!

ooh I love stoic and proud whumpees best I think, as much as I love a good pathetic cat of a whumpee too! but I'll read any, "broken" whumpees, defiant whumpee, suspicious whumpee, whumpee who pretends to be obedient and is biding their time... though that said, i do have a preference for male or non binary whumpees, female ones can hit a squick for me sometimes, though I did enjoy Haro whump's group whumpees, which had female whumpees included!

oooh, I like most of them really!!! caretaker that's trying really hard, caretaker that wants to help but can't (like villain's sidekick or a prison guard), fellow whumpee caretakers, gruff caretakers and soft ones, astute caretakers and oblivious ones... all depends on how they're written really! I'm not usually the biggest fan of reluctant caretakers, or carewhumpers or whumpers turned into caretakers... that doesnt sit the best with me for some reason. but I do love caretakers who fuck up and say the wrong thing, or have to punish the whumpee in public, or misunderstand things or whatever. even morally dubious caretakers can be fun depending on the vibe. I dont think I'm too fussy rly!

how did I discover whumplr...

uhhh yeah, I cant remember!! I'm terrible at remembering how things began, like how I first met friends or when i started watching a show , I'm sorry! I remember I first discovered a 'Boys in Discomfort' type collection of artwork and stories on DeviantArt, I read fics and followed artists on there for a good while. I may have found tumblr through Ao3, that's possible, not sure how long it took to go from my main tumblr blog to having a whump one... sorry this is a bad answer but I really dont remember! but I'm glad I did find it! met some great folks on here and read/seen some amazing work :)

oh, sweetheart. i'm so, so sorry that you feel this way. this is dreadful. Don't Hug Me I'm Scared fandom, look at this ask. over the past week myself and many other fans of the shorts and show have been receiving vile messages. death threats, wishes that our favourite characters should die in horrible ways, and personal attacks. the level of harassment the fandom has reached is unconscionable. if you're one of those individuals who thinks it's a great time to spew filth into people's inboxes, or to scream at artists/writers/theorists through tags because you really don't like a fictional character, or even enjoy watching the fireworks like people's emotions are some kind of sport? re-evaluate your life for a moment. right here, you have an individual who is too scared to engage with their interest because of this harassment. now, i'm thankful i'm in a good place mentally and am able to laugh this stuff off. i've liked weird characters and been bashed for it before, and it will happen again. but these people are forming an unsafe, toxic environment. it's not 'lmao this freak likes the worm i'm gonna send death threats 😂'. it's them taking time out of their day to make others miserable because they can't handle other people liking something they don't. i find it unbelievably ironic that it's posting about Warren, of all characters, that is drawing such ire. joking about how he's ugly and a terrible person is one thing, that's all in good fun - he's both! but did the actual message of that episode go entirely over their heads, or is their media comprehension so dim they believe it to be a one-to-one depiction of reality? for anyone who has been made to feel unsafe in this manner - whether in this fandom or another, for liking an unpopular character or for just trying to enjoy themselves - you don't need to give these people your energy. go ahead and make that sideblog. post those headcanons. make your art and write about your ships and create your AMVs. and do everything you need to do to keep yourself and your mental health safe. it's okay to turn off anon, it's okay to delete replies, and it's okay to block liberally when assholes come into your space looking to ruin your day because their own lives are so vapid and hollow. anon, thank you so much for your kind words and for being so sweet to me - i'm really glad you like my silly Warren content! i think you should make that sideblog and have a blast with it. for every awful ask i've received, there's been a hundred other messages, reblogs, tags and more gushing and theorising and just having a great time. the fandom as a whole isn't bad - it's just a couple of people who have nothing better to do and want to project their insecurities outwards. don't worry about them. they're leading profoundly sad lives. take care of yourself, and i hope, with time, these people grow up a little and learn to enjoy themselves. 💖

I'm gonna answer for both of them, because I can (the meme is here if anyone wants to ask and/or reblog it)

B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)

So for this one the answer is mostly the same for both of them, because cathar as a species (or my very dubious headcanoned version of them) have a tendency to really fixate on the neck/jaw because they have scent glands and a situational erogenous zone around there, and they'll gravitate to the area even if they're with another species that doesn't have them. The main difference being that Jial-ro is very gentle and will mostly just nuzzle and nip occasionally, whereas Khatte bites (he'll also bite everywhere else but he will especially bite necks). It very much goes both ways and they'll both appreciate a partner giving them attention there as well.

Jial-ro is also, justifiably, very proud of his butt and he's not at all shy about using it to his advantage.

E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)

Khatte: Much. Some might say too much. He needs to be stopped.

Jial-ro: his experience is somewhat sporadic, he was raised in the Jedi Temple because his Force abilities manifested very young, and aside from a short-lived fling in his teens that nearly got him kicked out of the Order he just didn't have much opportunity for a good while. That changed once he started getting sent out into the wider galaxy, and he gleefully exploited the "code only says no attachments but it doesn't say no one night stands" loophole and picked stuff up as he went along until he eventually parted ways with the Order completely. aside from the aforementioned Forbidden Boyfriend Incident he's only had one other real relationship, which he's still in and extremely committed to (they aren't strictly monogamous and he'll still have some occasional one-off fun but he has no interest in pursuing anything else emotionally). he's extremely giving and generous as a partner once he gets into it and he physically knows his way around, but he's prone to nerves and overthinking, and he's hesitant about initiating or directing things not for lack of desire but because he has Jedi Baggage he's still working through. It gave him some interesting kinks though so there's that.

F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying. Will probably include a visual)

Khatte: you'd think given his adventurous tendencies it would be something obscure and specific but honestly he just really likes getting fucked from behind, preferably while either shoved into the floor or bent over the nearest object.

Jial-ro: I'm not sure he actually has one? He likes experimenting and trying new things, and beyond that he likes whatever seems most appropriate to the situation; when it comes down to it for him the actual sex is secondary to to the foreplay and just being close to the other person. He does prefer being face to face, but within that there's a lot of leeway where he doesn't mind much one way or another. he's also incredibly flexible.

M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)

Khatte: what doesn't no but in actual practice he is, unfortunately, very turned on by risk and danger, and he is not at all safe or responsible about it. he has knowingly fucked people who fully intended to kill or harm him in the past and he'd do it again. he also has some strong exhibitionist tendencies and really fucking loves an audience and being the center of attention. do not turn him loose at a party he's the worst.

Jial-ro: connection and feeling loved is a big one for him. he's not really demisexual, he very much does experience attraction on a purely superficial/physical level and can enjoy the occasional one night stand, but the difference in how he is with a relative stranger vs someone he knows and feels close to is very noticeable.

T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)

Khatte: not really. he owns a lot of harnesses and similar wearable/aesthetic gear but in terms of actual toys or other implements he just rolls with whatever his current partner/hookup already has. he almost always goes to other peoples' spaces rather than inviting anyone into his, and he's actually very utilitarian and no-frills about getting himself off, so he just never really collected any. for as many kinks as he has, most of them don't require much in the way of tools or setup.

Jial-ro: he doesn't have an extensive arsenal or anything but he's definitely collected a few over the years, nothing particularly fancy and mostly to use on himself. he tends to keep them hidden, but he'll pull them out if he's with someone he trusts.

V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)

Khatte: he's loud. moaning, growling, talking either to encourage or provoke, if he likes what you're doing you will know about it. gags are also at minimum a soft limit for him and he has no sense of shame so yknow, good luck with that.

Jial-ro: he's chatty, both during and after, but he's pretty shy about vocalizing or having big reactions to things unless he's fully lost in the sauce. the most you're likely to get from him is some breathy little sounds that he's trying very hard to keep contained (but he'll still talk your ear off if he's coherent at all and most of it will just be enthusiastic positive feedback).

Hey, it’s been awhile, huh?

Some of you may vaguely remember me talking about restructuring the blog back in March of last year (yikes, has it been that long already?), only for not much to really happen. Newer posts popped up on the blog after that as well. What happened?

Well, it’s still happening. Today, in fact as I finally have a free day to sit down and do everything in one go. It’ll just be happening in a different way from what was originally planned.

I’m putting the rest of this under a read more for those who want to skip on the more long-winded explanation. If you’re still here, hi and thanks for reading on.

Like I mentioned above, my original post that talked about restructuring things was made in March of 2021. I obviously never intended for it to drag on for so long, but life gets in the way and honestly I was still unsure what I wanted to do.

In the original post I said that this would be remaining a fnaf-oriented ask blog, just essentially wiped clean and rebooted. This is no longer what I want to do.

When I first was trying to decide what to do with this blog. Should it remain and ask blog or just shift to a more personal one? I thought I would be able to do a reboot of the blog, but the past year has helped to shift my perspective.

I’ve never been a fast artist and I’ve really only slowed down over time. I also have found that I prefer to fill a more “creative support” role and like to help with other peoples’ projects versus helming one of my own. I still have my own ideas and things, but sometimes I have trouble fully forming them so they often stay in my head.

The other reason I’m turning this account into a personal blog instead of making a personal sideblog, is that I’m just bad at making and using sideblogs. You may have seen me over the years accidentally post something meant for a sideblog here or vice versa if you follow one of the side accounts. I am terrible about checking which blog I’m posting to before hitting post. So, to just make it easier for myself why not make the default account a personal one where I can put whatever I want without having to worry about it? Easy. (I also already have side blogs tied to this account, so it’s easier to just make this a personal blog instead of deleting it entirely and having to start over and re-tie the new account to older projects).

So personal blog? Cool, cool. What happens to the old art here and the art on your current art sideblog? Well, as for this account most of the old stuff is getting archived. All ask art has been mostly archived already on a personal external drive. Some posts may stay, mostly older posts that still make me giggle, or older art from others that I reblogged and still enjoy. Some of my own older art that wasn’t explicitly tied to an ask may also stay, but I’m leaving that up to my discretion if it should be kept up or not. More recent art, like last year’s fnaf ar collab will remain up since it’s recent and I want people to still be able to see everyone’s hard work.

As for the art blog, my art will be archived, posts will be reblogged here for cohesion purposes, and then the art blog will be deleted. Since this one is becoming my main blog, having a secondary art blog feels redundant to me. It could be for purely art reblogs, but that’s not how I work. Plus, I want my art blog’s username to become this blog’s new username, soooo it’s gotta go. A post about this will also go up on the art blog at some point, although it’ll be slightly different.

Sorry for being so dormant about this for so long, and sorry if the changes aren’t what you wanted. If you feel like now’s a good time to unfollow go ahead, thanks for sticking around with this blog for however long you may have done so. If you’re going to stick around for the changes, again, thank you. Thanks for putting up with my slow post speed and long periods of dormancy, and thanks for just sticking around as we head into these changes. Hopefully, this shift will bring in a more active blog in 2023.

since i’m coming back i also feel obliged to make an informal update post; not for anyone in particular, just as a sort of digital diary entry. ramble about the past 2+ years and what i wanna do now under the readmore

i know in retrospect, 2 years or so is not a long time at all, but it still Feels like forever ago since i attempted to be active on tumblr, mostly because of how different my interests and priorities are now. so i still think it warrants a word dump

in the past 2+ years since i’ve last been active on tumblr, i’ve let new things come along and alter my brain chemistry. 2 years ago, i was really into posting oso-san fanart, but i’m no longer interested in participating in that fandom (or what’s left of it), so i’m letting myself move on to other stuff. i was also into posting ocs, but my investment in that has died quite a bit. it’s now an interest i’d prefer to indulge privately, if at all. i was also into warrior cats, but again, that interest died down and i want to focus on other stuff. i think the only things about my activity that won’t change is posting cringe and reblogging random shit i find funny

as for what i’m currently invested in, i’m mostly into identity v now, and will most probably be an idv-centric blog. but i do still want this blog to include some general interests and personal posts as well. i’m too lazy to maintain a bunch of sideblogs. another way i’ve changed is, i haven’t discovered i’m fictionkin (that discovery was a longer time ago), but its prominence in my life grew substantially, to a point i can’t hide it without feeling suffocated. so i’m gonna use this blog as an outlet for that part of myself as well. when i was first getting into idv i never thought itd put me in the blender this bad but here i am... look how i turned out... anyway i’m also into genshin impact now, and idk how much of that i’ll post or reblog, but it rots my brain so i won’t eliminate the possibility. i can’t think of any other interests prominent enough that it’d be safe to guess it’d be a focus of this blog... i think i’ll just let my impulses guide me amen. okay fr though i’m a hodgepodge of random interests and whims so my friends and anyone who decides to follow this page are just gonna have to deal with that

as for how i’ve changed as a person, um.. scratches head... i’ve changed a lot, but not at all. my art improved a lot, i think. i’ve gone through lots of fictionkin-related self discovery and introspection that put me in the blender, and also my gender has done more cartwheels than i can count. i’ve grown up a little bit (as much as one can do when aging from 17-20 LMAO) and had many experiences, good and bad. going forward, i hope to get out of my shell more and feel free to interact with people. i also hope to become more comfortable existing online in general, and let go of the extreme lurker impulse. i discovered a lot of very skilled artists on twitter, as well as discovered very cool communities! i want in on that, and hopefully one day i can shake off the shyness
