- Theory on Dazai's family -

- Why I think that Dazai is closely related to the former boss of the Port Mafia - A BSD analysis based on facts from the main manga series, the light novel "Bungo Stray Dogs: Dazai, Chuuya Age Fifteen" and the manga "Bungo Stray Dogs: Dazai, Chuuya Age Fifteen" -

Contains heavy spoilers for Dazai's backstory, the Dazai, Chuuya Age Fifteen manga and the Age Fifteen light novel

Okay so I had this theory since I read the age 15 novel last year but I've never got around writing it down since some pieces were still missing.

In the following I will first talk about Dazai's relationship with Mori and showing parts of the age 15 novel to proof why they very popular theory that Mori is Dazai's father/a relative cannot be true. Afterwards I will talk about my theory that Dazai was already in Mafia, way before he met Mori before I will talk about my theory about why I think that Dazai is closely related to the former boss of the port mafia is either Dazai's father or a close relative like a grandfather or uncle and gonna show supporting proof from the BSD light novel "Dazai and Chuuya age 15", the BSD age 15 manga and the main BSD manga series.

1. Why Mori cannot be Dazai's father or a relative

Mori being Dazai's father or being directly related to him is a very popular opinion in the BSD fandom and which is very popular especially under anime onlys or new fans. To be honest, I had this theory too when I first started watching BSD but by now I am completely sure that this cannot be true.

Direct proof for this can be found in the BSD light novel "Dazai and Chuuya age 15" which reveals a lot about Dazai's and Chuuya's past in the Port Mafia as well as about some characters in general.

In this light novel it gets clear that Mori and Dazai are still pretty much strangers which are connected through the murder of the former boss of the Port Mafia. This also gets specifically stated in said novel on page 8 and page 7.

As stated here, they've been brought together by common destiny.

On page 7 however, is a even better proof that they aren't related at all and it also gives out another very interesting information about Dazai's family.

As stated here, on page seven, Dazai is "neither Mori's secret illegitimate child nor an orphan he adopted [...] ". I think that with this information, we can be pretty sure that Dazai isn't related to Mori at all. It also gets stated again that they are bound together by "common destiny" instead of any kind of relation.

Very interesting is, that it gets mentioned that Dazai isn't an orphan which Mori adopted since this information can be read in two ways. One option is, that he simply isn't adopted by Mori while the second option is, that he isn't an orphan at all. (English isn't my first language so I don't know if it can be read in only one way so feel free to correct me.)

The last proof for that Mori and Dazai aren't related to each other, can be found on page 9.

The whole page makes clear, that Mori doesn't really know Dazai at all/ that he only knows him for only one year and that he only knows him on a "Coworker level". He isn't familiar with Dazai's way of thinking, speaking and acting. He simply cannot figure Dazai out and he is kind of scared of him. Dazai isn't someone he knows since a long time. If anything, he is still trying to get to know Dazai and his ways of thinking. If Mori knew Dazai since a very long time, I'm sure that he would know at least a bit about how Dazai acts and reacts to things so that he wouldn't get as uneasy as on this text page, when Dazai is showing his serious, cold and calculating side again.

This is only a speculation though since Dazai and his ways of acting and thinking are in fact nearly completely impossible to figure out for nearly everyone.

Besides this, there is a clear distance between them without any familiarity. This distance can be often found between strangers who know each other solely through working together for whatever reason, but who never hang out together in the way friends or relatives do, which creates this distance between them.

Now that I've shown some proof which supports the theory, that Dazai isn't related to Mori in any way, I'm firstly going to show proof for why I think that Dazai was already in the Mafia, way before he met Mori before I will talk about why I think that Dazai is specifically related to the former boss of the Port Mafia.

2. Why Dazai had to be in the Mafia, way before he met Mori

Now, about why Dazai had to be in the Mafia way before he met Mori.

As seen in one of those panels of the first phase of the age 15 manga, Dazai is dressed on somewhat formal attire, wearing a white button up shirt and dress pants. Those clothes suit him perfectly and they look rather formal and expensive so it's unlikely that they were given to him after he got brought to the hospital. Those are his own clothes.

Now, if he would be an orphan who lived on the streets, which is another popular theroy in the fandom, he wouldn't be wearing such clothes.

Also such black and white, formal clothes/suits are commonly worn in the port mafia, often by people of a higher rank or by guards which suggests that there is some kind of a dress code among the Port Mafia. The clothes which Dazai is wearing, suit perfectly into the dress code of the port mafia.

Another point as to why he had to be in the Mafia already is the fact that he was brought to Mori, an shady underground doctor and the personal physician of the former boss of the port mafia after attempting suicide. If he would have been a normal child, no matter if orphan or not, he would have been brought to a normal official hospital in Yokohama and not to Mori.

Besides this, Mori is well aware who Dazai is, calling him by his name which suggests that Dazai isn't only already in the port mafia but also that he is known there and not just another nameless assistant.

Of course, Mori could have been informed about who this kid is by the person who brought him to him but if Dazai would really have been a random kid who wasn't involved in the Mafia, they wouldn't have any information about his name.

All of these points like the expensive and formal clothing, the fact that he seems to be involved with the Mafia already, the fact that he was brought to the underground doctor Mori (who is also the personal physician of the former boss of the port mafia) and the fact that Mori knows who Dazai is, lead me to the next point which is why I believe that Dazai is closely related to the former boss of the port mafia.

3. Why I think that Dazai is closely related to the former boss of the Port Mafia

Firstly, all the previously mentioned facts like the expensive clothes and all, are things which support my theroy in some ways but of course they aren't enough proof since alone from those facts alone, we could also think that Dazai is simply related to a executive or someone in the Mafia who has a higher rank but there are things which lead me to think that Dazai is related to the former boss of the port mafia.

Let me show you.

First of all, Higuchi telling Dazai that Dazai's blood is not only "Mafia black" but also that it's more Mafia black than anyone else's in the country.

While this could also be seen as her referring to him being the feared demon prodigy, it also suggests that he is deeply connected with the port mafia. Also, talking about a connection to something through someone's blood gets often used to hint that someone is connected with something through family.

With saying that his blood is more black than anyone else's, she also says that he is deeper connected with the Mafia than Mori, Hirotsu, Chuuya or any of the other loyal members of the Mafia and besides this, she also tells him through this, that he would be more cruel than any of them.

Now the only other person about who they talk like this and who gets referred to be more cruel and deeply involved with the port mafia, who is basically anchored in the history of the port mafia, is the former boss of the port mafia himself.

Higuchi saying that his blood is mafia black, more than anyone's in the whole county, could easily be a hint that Dazai is in fact, related in some way to the only other person who's blood is mafia black, the former boss.

While this point is more based on speculation, the next point is based a lot more on the things which are actually specifically shown in the manga.

During the flashback which shows how the former boss of the port mafia died, we can see that Dazai isn't standing next to Mori but far away from the bed next to the big window.

If Mori wanted to make Dazai pretend that he would be his new assistant, Dazai would stand next to the bed or would stand at least close to Mori to "watch and learn", to assist him or to hand him any tools or medicine he might need but this isn't the case. He is standing far away from Mori and the bed, silently watching and not assisting at all. He isn't holding any tools and he also obviously isn't looking for anything which he needs to bring Mori. Here he has the role of a bystander and is the witness.

But why would Mori bring a random child with him, only to watch him and which would later be his witness. It would make no sense and it would make him seem even more suspicious. Even if he would have waited with the murder, bringing Dazai with him a couple of times before killing the boss, it would make him look suspicious. After all, suddenly bringing a child with him which then suddenly happens to be the only witness, really is suspicious and I doubt that Mori would have made such a risky and unwell calculated plan.

If that would be the case he also could have picked any child or like any person in the Mafia. After all, there are a lot of people who wanted to see the former boss of the port mafia dead because of his brutal and cruel way of leading the Mafia and because of all the terrible crimes but again.

However, despite the large amount of people who would (most likely) happily assist Mori with getting rid of the former boss, he directly approached Dazai and he does so confidently as shown here:

He seems like he knew exactly that Dazai wouldn't deny his request and he also seems as if he had picked Dazai to be his perfect assistant for this case but I genuinely don't think, that it's only because Dazai is a suicide patient.

In both, the manga and the light novel, Dazai tells Mori that of course the latter would see him as the perfect assistant because he would need to get rid of everyone who was aware of what really happened during that night and since nobody would suspect a thing if Dazai would suddenly commit suicide under unknown circumstances but while this is a good point, more on the other hand states in the light novel that he can't let him die because then the supporters of the previous boss would turn on Mori and claim that he would have killed the predecessor but I will come back to that in a second.

As previously mentioned, I don't think that Dazai being suicidial was the point which made Mori choose him as his assistant. After all, it wouldn't make anything less suspicious due to the reasons I mentioned previously.

So why did he pick Dazai if suddenly bringing a person with him, shortly before murdering the predecessor would only raise suspicions?

Well it would only raise suspicions if the person wasn't already in the room before he came to visit the boss and if they weren't in this room already since quite some time.

This is one of my main points to support the theroy and it also suits to the fact that Mori wouldn't risk seeming any more suspicious throughout bringing a random person with him and it also suits to the fact that Dazai is standing far away from the bed, obviously not pretending to be a new assistant of Mori.

Dazai stands far away from the bed, like someone who was in the room already, way before the doctor came in and he steps away from the bed to give room for the doctor so that he can do his work properly. It is a common thing to do for relatives, friends or coworkers who had been staying at the bedside of the bedridden person.

Now why would Dazai be in this room, staying with the pervious boss of the port mafia as the only person.

He is too young to be a guard and he can't be a person who was carrying out missions for the previous boss since Mori is in fact the person who gives Dazai his first mission ever which is to investigate about the rumors of the previous boss of the port mafia coming back as a ghost. It can be seen on this page of the manga where Mori specifically states that this is Dazai's first job as a official member of the Mafia.

So if Dazai can't be a guard, isn't pretending to be Mori's assistant, if it's too suspicious if Mori would bring a random person with him shortly before carrying out his plan and if Dazai can't be someone who carries out missions, and especially if he isn't an official working member of the Mafia until that very moment in which Mori gives him his first mission and welcomes him as an official member of the Mafia, which, by the way, takes place around one whole year after Mori killed the predecessor, why should Dazai be staying in that room since quite some time, by the bedside of the former boss of the port mafia?

The only logical reason for this would be that he is in fact related to the boss of the port mafia in some way and due to this, stays by the side of his relative to help him in his weak, dying and bedridden state. There wouldn't be any other reason for him to keep Dazai around and if there would be, all the other points like Dazai being dressed formal and expensively and Mori knowing who Dazai is wouldn't suit into the whole situation anyways.

If Dazai only would serve as some kind of a servant, he would be someone unknown in the Mafia and they probably wouldn't have brought him to Mori after his attempt.

My last proof which supports my theroy is Dazai's reaction to having to face the former boss of the port mafia again during the fight against Arthur Rimbaud/Randou but also the bosses reaction to facing Dazai again.

On page 95 in the light novel, Dazai and Chuuya face the former boss for the first time in the whole novel and both, the reaction of Dazai and if the both is very interesting and supports my theroy a lot.

Chuuya who was never directly involved with the port mafia and the former boss and only knows about his crimes /was indirectly another victim of one of his crimes, hasn't a very specific reaction towards facing the boss and the boss also only sees him as someone he has attack without any personal connection between them.

Dazai however reacts not only chaught off guard like Chuuya upon seeing the dead body of the former boss of the port mafia standing in front of them, talking and moving but during the whole fight he doesn't say as much as he usually would and is more confused, tensed up and seemingly very uncomfortable and nervous. He does try to cover it up with sarcastic remarks and through smiling but it is very noticeable in the way he acts and talks.

Upon seeing the port mafia boss, Dazai's smile becomes tense and he seems uneasy and he continues to act like this even after knowing that it's only Arthur's ability. It can't be only because he is worried about the boss telling others what really happened since they are currently in Arthur's hyperspace and the boss isn't going anywhere. The whole situation of having to see and having to talk to this person again seems to make him feel uneasy and uncomfortable which makes him turn more quiet, confused and more serious during the whole battle. It actually takes some time until he acts more relaxed and calculating like he usually does during a fight and until he stops bombarding Arthur with questions.

The former boss of the port mafia on the other hand, (and this is an incredibly interesting and overlooked part), calls Dazai "My boy" upon seeing him again, asks him Mori/ "The good doctor" has been treating him well and refrers to Dazai's face as a familiar face before he calls him my boy upon fully recognizing him. He also tells Dazai that it feel like ages since he last say him which implies that they saw each other and knew each other regularly. Him calling him my boy definitely supports that Dazai is related to him and I think it's self explanatory why. If Dazai was only some coworker, he wouldn't be referring to him as my boy.

The way Dazai talks to him also seems like he isn't talking to someone he only vaguely knows.

The distance which is present when he is communicating with Mori isn't present here and the whole way he talks to him and how he is building the sentences but also how the former boss of the port mafia is referring to him as well as how he talks to Dazai, is making clear that they know each other past the level of only coworkers as well as that they aren't just boss and normal subordinate.

The fact that Dazai refers to him as boss, the fact that Dazai assists Mori's with his plan, the way they talk to each other or better the way in which Dazai talks to the predecessor and that the fact the former boss of the port mafia isn't having any issues with killing/attempting to kill Dazai and even shows some kind of enthusiasm towards it, talking about it in a way which is implying that he already hated Dazai way before Dazai assisted Mori ("[...] I never imagined a day would come where I could behead this boy with my own two hands", the previous Mafia boss crowed hoarsely." (p.98;ll.26-28;" Bungo Stray Dogs: Dazai, Chuuya, Age Fifteen") shows the nature of the relationship between those two.

Most likely, the predecessor wasn't treating Dazai good, most likely abusing him which lead Dazai to assisting Mori and which would explain the way they talk to each other as well as Dazai's negative and almost scared reaction upon seeing the previous boss again.

Given the predecessors cruel, cold and brutal personality as well as his obsession with surpressing and killing people/people who acted against the Mafia, it isn't unlikely that he was also abusive towards Dazai.

Another quote which implies that they know each other since quite some time, can be found on page 98 in the light novel where the boss is "mourning" about the fact that his body isn't capable anymore of talking about the past before he kills Dazai. ("" If only we could chat about old times first, [...] "" (P. 98; ll.28-29)

The fact that Arthur also states that he preserved the former bosses personality and memories (P. 99; l.1) proofs that the memories of the boss as well as the way he acts isn't altered at all.

With all of these facts which suggest that Dazai is related to the former boss of the Port Mafia, it also makes sense why Mori needs Dazai to stay alive. Not only it would seem suspicious if Dazai suddenly dies, even if he would die of suicide but also because then, if Dazai would truly be related to the former boss of the Port Mafia, it would seem like Mori got rid of the person who rightfully is the next boss of the Port Mafia in order to be completely sure that he can be the next boss until he dies.

If we see it like this, it would also make even more sense as to why Mori was so scared that Dazai would kill him one day, just like how he killed the former boss in order to become the next leader of the Port Mafia because then he wouldn't just be afraid because of the "Evil expects evil from others" rule, but also because he and Dazai would both be painfully aware of the fact that Dazai is rightfully the next Boss of the Port Mafia and not Mori.

To summarize, Dazai cannot be related to Mori at all. Not only is this specifically stated in the light novel "Bungo Stray Dogs: Dazai, Chuuya, Age Fifteen" but the fact that Mori is still trying to figure out Dazai, that he isn't familiar with Dazai's way of acting and thinking and the fact that there is a constant, somewhat formal distance between them suggests that they genuinely didn't know each other before Mori asked Dazai to be his assistant/witness in his plan to murder the former boss of the port mafia.

Now despite not being related to Mori in any way, Dazai still seems to be involved with the Port Mafia already, way before he met Mori. Proof for that can mainly be found in the BSD Dazai, Chuuya, Age Fifteen manga.

There, Dazai is shown to wear formal and expensive looking clothes when he wakes up after another suicide attempt and Mori greets Dazai with his name, seemingly being well aware of who Dazai is. If Dazai would have been a random kid p.ex. from the streets, he wouldn't be wearing such clothes and Mori wouldn't know his name but he also wouldn't have been brought to the underground doctor Mori who also happens to be the personal physician of the former boss of the port mafia but to a normal and official hospital in Yokohama.

Alone due to the fact that he got brought to Mori, he had to be involved with the port mafia already otherwise he wouldn't had end up in that hospital. Now, him being well dressed, Mori knowing his name and him being brought to Mori instead of to an official hospital could also imply that he is only the son of an executive or another person in the Mafia who is of high rank but the fact that Higuchi tells Dazai years later that his blood is mafia black, more than anyone else's in the country as well as the fact that Mori chooses him to assist him in his plan of murdering the former boss of the port mafia as well as Dazai's position in the bosses room while Mori carries out his plan and his role in this plan imply that he isn't just related to a random person but rather the former boss of the port mafia himself.

Mori could have chosen anyone to be his witness, especially in regards of how many people want to see the former boss dead but he directly approaches Dazai and does so confidently as shown in the age fifteen manga. He seems to be sure that Dazai would assist him but he also seems to be sure that this won't raise any more suspicious.

If he would have started to bring a random person with him to his regular visits to the former boss, shortly before he murders him and the fact that this random person is suddenly his only witness would raise only more suspicious about him killing the boss and given Mori's character, I doubt that he would plan something so risky and uncalculated where it's sure that it would cause him more trouble than anything.

So why did he choose a seemingly random kid as his witness if suddenly bringing a person with him would only raise suspicions in the end? Because there won't be any more suspicious than there are already if the person is located in the former bosses room anyways and regularly.

The theroy that Dazai stays at the room of the former boss gets supported by the fact that Mori is specifically choosing him, seemingly being sure that this won't raise suspicions and the fact that Dazai isn't staying close to the bed or at least next to Mori while he is "treating" the former boss, not pretending to be Mori's assistant. Dazai is standing far away from Mori and the bed as a silent witness next to the window. Stepping away from the bed so that the doctor can treat the person is a common thing to do for relatives, friends or coworkers who had been staying at the bedside of the bedridden person. If Dazai would have pretended to be Mori's assistant he would be staying close to Mori, only stepping away from the bed to get something which Mori needs but this isn't the case. Also the suspicions didn't raise because of Dazai and everything went as Mori planned which is supporting the theory that Dazai was already regularly in the room.

Now why would the port mafia boss keep a child around in his room/at his bedside. Dazai is too young to be a guard, he isn't a official member of the Mafia who carries out missions since it is shown in the manga that Mori is in fact the person who gives Dazai his first mission ever and who is welcoming him as an member of the Mafia after giving him the mission, implying that Dazai wasn't an official member of the Mafia until that very moment which took place around one year after Mori successfully carried his plan out and if Dazai would have only acted as some kind of servant, he wouldn't have been dressed this well, Mori most likely wouldn't have known who Dazai is and he most likely wouldn't have been brought to Mori after his attempt. We can see how the most servants/slaves are treated in the chapter with Ace in the main manga and since the previous boss was even more cruel and brutal than Ace, he wouldn't have treated his servants any better. Given those circumstances, the only logical reason for him keeping Dazai around in his room, is that Dazai is in fact related to him in some way and is now staying at his bedside in order to help him in his weak, dying and bedridden state.

That they know each other past the levels of only boss and subordinate/ coworkers gets shown in the fight against Arthur Rimbaud/Randou where the former boss calls Dazai "My boy" and mourns about the fact that they cannot talk about the old times before he kills Dazai. They also talk to each other in a way which suggests that they know each other since a long time in a relative kind of way.

While Chuuya reacts chaught off guard towards seeing the previous boss as well but while he reacts in a way which makes clear that they never knew each other personally, Dazai tenses up and is nervous and feels uneasy through the whole fight upon having to face the boss again. It takes him a while until he acts more collected, serious and calculating like he usually does in a fight again but the uneasyness never fades fully, no matter how much he tries to cover it up.

The way they talk to each other also implies a deep rooted hate from both sides. The former boss also shows no issues with killing Dazai, implies that he already hated Dazai way before he assisted Mori and even shows some kind of enthusiasm towards killing the child.

In general, given the former bosses cruel, cold and brutal personality and given the way they interact with each other/react towards having to face each other again, it is likely that the former boss was abusive towards Dazai/that the nature of thier relationship was abusive.

During the whole fight, both talk with each other in way which suggests that they know each other personally since quite some time and the formal distance which is always present when Dazai and Mori communicate with each other isnt present between them during thier conversations, making it seem even more like they are related in some way.

All these facts, from the former boss referring to Dazai as "My boy" to Dazai's position in the room and his role in Mori's plan, lead me to think that Dazai is in fact closely related to the former boss of the port mafia. I consciously decided not to refer to the former boss as Dazai's father since I wouldn't go as far as to pinpoint the exact relation but I am almost completely sure he is closely related to him and I think it's likely that he is at least his grandfather or his uncle.

ok so tinaaos updated and i’m not even in the fandom of dsmp anymore but i was like “maybe i should reread this fic! the plot is good and i’m bored.” AND HOLY. SHIT. I AND FORGOTTEN SO MANY THINGS???? and reading every chapter back to back made me able to put stuff together bettrr even if i had already read them (albeit months apart) BUT ANYWAY I WAKTED TO TALK SOME THERIOYS OUT! that i. have talked to myself inside my head about mutiple times… ANYWAY :D

spoilers for tinaaos all the way up to chapter 43 or whatever agead (i say as i know DAMN WELL!!! i cant rember chapter 42 cause i ahvent reread it yet- anyway)

FIRST OF ALL ! what’s been on my mind the most! tommy’s powers which i’m ? sure have been discussed to NO END BUT ! whatever

his powers are such a mystery ??? like he can do almsot anyhting do to energy manipulation leading to basically controlling everything ? but like how techno had stated his powers are closely tied to his emotions. and how tommy has stated them feeling like more of a buzz and an extension of himself or something along those lines— (that’s two hyphens btw) point is his power is diffrent than what other people (literally just. niki.) explain how their powers feel.

one top of that he has stated before after techno said “imagine having your powers behind a dam for 16 years” (not a qoute literally my memroy most likley wrong) tommy mumbles “more like 10”, now that might be just be late power devolpment that most likely happens since kids get tested 2 throughout their life. but there might be something more? i feel like somewhere there is why tommy killed his parents— though probaly on accident. his powers have been stated to like ? protect him . my theroy is he was getting strangled or soemthing, his powers act up and boom dead parents. though i don’t think that was the first time his powers had been seen since in the more acts of spite a story of him and eryn he seems to have already had them? anywya just seems like something important to note! aso noting he is scared of blood tests maybe that has to deal with all this.

next thing still on his powers (stay with me here i have been binge reading this since the latest chapter and have been brainrotting what his powers are). when techno and niki have their talk about the power suppressers, techno talks about his powers awfully simialr to how tommy explains his! which is intresting (aka a constant buzz). now when i first read this i thought maybe he was just? talking to niki secretly about tommys powers? like if that makes since. but i feel like this may not 100% be the case .

now i have one last thing to mention before moving on to other things— i’m like pretty sure tommys powers start getting upgraded AFTER the warehouse, what could he have been exposed to there? blue. what can blue do? idk man power stuff but if you get blued by 2 diffrent things you get hybrid charcteristics, which tommy does lack! but maybe proably the first stuff that tommy SMASHED! could have effected his powers? I really want to talk more about my Ben having post concussion syndrome theroy/AU. and give it kind of a more clear timeline. even if that means talking into the void.

So, as much as I love max. It's partly his fault since Ben was under his care when he got the Omnitrix, and that first summer there's no way Ben had time to properly rest and recover from anything.

so Ben gets back home and suddenly he's dealing with night terrors, migraines, irritability, (CPTSD like symptoms too) can't focus, dizziness, and problems with concentration.

since Ben keeps fighting aliens until he gets the watch off probably for another year or atleast a few months he likely gets multiple concussions.

in my experience the combination of having multiple concussions and never being allowed to take time off to recover properly especially from more intense ones causes alot of the symptoms to be permeant, sometimes things like stress or too much new information to process make it worse. making school extramly difficult even though I use to have almost a photographic memory like Ben.

Ben gets the watch off but continues to struggle and eventually gets on migraines meds that have alot of side effects, preventing him form gaining weight bc of stomach issues or tasting soda. causing him to switch to smoothies to mask both of them.

then by omniverse he's put on a higher dose, or it's not working as well. he's also had more concussions since starting his treatment and that complicates things. Rook doesn't know about how bens battles have effected his health, that Ben isn't saying words wrong or forgetting things because he doesn't care he does care but between the damage the side effects it's hard. He wants to listen to rook he just can't sometimes it's too overwhelming, so is trying to plan things. that's why he runs in to save the day it's the only way his brain really gets the job done.

Eventually I want to say Ben does tell rook, or he learns more details about what Ben's struggling with from talking to Gwen and Kevin or one of the other Tennysons. Maybe after Ben tries a new medication and gets sick from it. Ben's surprised it's not in his plumber file, but it wouldn't be it would be in his medical records. (I might be planning some fics based on this)

after omniverse I headcannon that he would ask Gwen for help, or look for more advanced medical care then what's offered on earth since using the Omnitrix is making his migraines worse bc of the green light.

eventually he gets switched to a different medication, or finds a new treatment that helps and is able to talk asmuth into giving him voice command and other accomodations to make the watch more accessable. since the way he uses the watch as ben1000 is completely different and much more user friendly.

obviously concussions and medication effect everyone differently. I'm just going off of my own experience. I've had multiple pretty bad head Injuries, and recently started drinking alot of smoothies (bc I can't taste soda or energy drinks anymore) I remember thinking "this feels familiar" and then I remembered Ben.

everyone with this condition struggles with different symptoms from mild to sever ranging from a few weeks to life long. in my case I'm dealing with some pretty bad life long consequences. I never expected Ben to become a comfort charater for this, since he definitely wasn't my favorite before but here I am and here we are. Ben making me feel less alone and less alienated lol.

Disclaimer though, this is a theory. I don't know Taylor or Joe personally, nor do I know anything about their relationship personally as well. This is just what I've gathered from Reputation & Lover secret sessions and her past lyrics.

Let's break this down:

I tapped on your window on your darkest night.

This lyric reminded me of 'starry eyes sparking up my darkest night' from Call It What You Want, which is a reference to Joe, of course. Since Reputation era was her worst era publicly and emotionally, Joe managed to bring her happiness during that time. He was the light of her life.

And if I would have known, how many pieces you had crumbled into, I might've let them lay.

This also reminds me of Call It What You Want when she says, 'my castle crumbled overnight'

Are you really gonna talk about timing in times like these? And let all your damage, damage me?

This goes back to the timing that which their relationship started. She was at her lowest, her career at her lowest, and of course this came with a lot of anxiety and insecurity for her. Let's not forget she tried to break up with Joe after she was first seen by paparazzi for months because she was terrified of what their relationship would turn into if he had stayed with her. Joe was just like "no" because he loved her for who she was and not what people made her out to be.

And carry your baggage up my street. And make me your future history.

Remember when she packed her bags and left Cornelia Street before he even knew she was gone?

You've come a long way. Open the blinds, let me see your face.

She was in hiding. Nobody saw her for months. She was so far into her career just to leave it all behind. He was one of the only people (she felt) who actually wanted her around.

You wouldn't be the first renegade to need somebody.

A renegade is somebody who leaves a principle or organization behind. That's exactly what Taylor did. This is Joe essentially saying he needs her, too.

Is it insensitive for me to say 'get your shit together, so I can love you'? Is it really your anxiety that stops you from giving me everything, or do you just not want to?

This goes back to when Taylor tried to end her relationship with Joe because she was terrified of what the media would make of them. She felt that was the only way to deal with the anxiety, and I'm sure these are Joe's thoughts in the moment she tried to leave him.

You fire off missiles cause you hate yourself, but do you know you're demolishing me?

This reminds me a lot of Afterglow. She admits in that song that she's insecure and jealous, especially in her relationship. She took those issues out on him and in the song, reflected on how heartbroken Joe was when she started irrational and unjust arguments with him.

Long story short, this song was written from Joe's perspective in the early stages of his relationship with Taylor. She was battling a lot mentally and physically, was having a hard time loving herself because of it, and I'm sure these issues effected Joe just as much as they did her.

Synopsis: Hermes rants to his roommate about his punishment.

Bweng Bwung Bwung Bum. Hermes mock plays the piano as he downs another bottle of fireball.

"Would you keep it down! I have to work early in the morning. Like I Do. EVERY. FUCKING. DAY." Apollo yelled as he bangged on the floor separating the two.

In response Hermes just laughed and continued his intentional berating of the piano.

Shortly after Apollo aggressively make his way down to the main room.

"What is your malfunction?! It is 4 in the morning I could easily have gotten another hour of sleep!" He yelled before taking in the scenery. "Eh. It reeks like a bars bathroom in here." He continued as he made his way towards the piano and the god who was abusing it. Once he got to Hermes he yanked him away from the poor instrument.

"Hey Fucker! What is that all about! Couldn't you tell I was working!" Hermes slurs.

"Yeah I think all of Olympus could tell. You've been 'working' since four in the afternoon. What is up with you?!"

"What is up with me? What is up with me? Oh I don't know, Apollo the Great God of Knowledge, you tell me!" Hermes yelled trying to sound intimidating.

"I am just trying to help you."

"Just like how you helped those two Nymphs and their idiot sidekick report us? Yeah. No thank you."

"Hey! I was just doing the right thing."

"Right thing? Since when have you ever went out of your way to do the right thing. Since when have any of us Gods went out of our ways to do the 'Right' thing. Want to hear MY Theroy."

"No."

"RHETORIC QUESTION Asspollo. So, I think that you got Sooo tired of Persephone rejecting your nasty purple ass that you thought hey why don't I take her down a peg or two." Hermes said putting distance between the two. "And you did! Quite literally! She can only leave the Underworld for 2 consecutive months of the year, for the rest of forever! You practically pushed her into Hades bed so thanks for that."

"I'm not pleased with fathers decisions either. You Ass." He growled in response but got no acknowledgement.

"But, I'm the lucky one right? I only got three months of house arrest and then I can return to my work. Except those three months I have to spend an uncomfortable amount of time with the bastard that got us in this shit."

"Minthe and Thesis were going to find a way to do it anyway and you know that!"

"Sure. But tell me how far do you think that two nymph sluts would have been able to get without some divine assistance? Especially since Hera got Thesis fired and practically outcast."

"You need to stop this woulda/shoulda/coulda shit. Its over and done with. The trial was a week ago. And your still whining as if you didn't expect him to up your punishment after finding out the extent of you involvement."

"Well. I could of talked him down to a much lesser punishment if you wouldn't have intruded."

"Everyone was airing out dirty laundry. I felt like doing it as well."

"Even though you were banned from making an appearance during the trial. Why weren't you punished for that!"

"I was! I had to pay a hefty fine!"

"I wish all I had was a hefty fine..."

"Do you? I mean honestly I'd rather be in your shoes than have to get ready for work soon."

"Heh. Fuck you. I'm going to shower and take a nap." Hermes says as he leaves to do as he announced.

"Good. You do that." Apollo rebuttals as he picked up the eight empty bottles that lay around the room. "Did he piss on the stool?" Apollo groaned as he stood back up with all the bottles gathered.

Vampire falls chapter 3

chapter 3- two lost souls

Three towns over life seemed normal, the streets were busseling with people going about their daily lives- the shops were open and the lines seemed to be going to the other side of the street. The sun was beautiful as it beamed down on the streets.

Summer was on it's way out, the sun had been hotter a few weeks ago but like everyone else of the quiet town, one mason wood was catching the last bit of the heat before winter set in.

An nice afternoon out of school was exactly what the 16 year old needed.

"So nice that miss decided to cancel lessons" One of his friends said as she walked hand in hand with her boyfriend who didn't seem to share the sentiment that the sun was so nice

"Tailia we could be in lesson getting valuble knowledge for our college applications" he said attempting to get her to see reason, not exactly working

"Oh please it's the first month back after summer what on earth can they tell us now?"

Mason just walked along with them nodding every now and then whilst reading a book he had picked up from the school, like tailias boyfriend he was very much concerned with actually getting into a good college.

He wanted out of oregon.

He couldn't remember past age 13 when he randomly stumbeled into this town, he assumed that he had always lived here and quickly found himself back where he pressumed his home was, the orphanage.

He put it together that his parents must have not wanted him and just left him. Ever since then he had wanted to prove the system wrong, abandoned kids could make a life for themselves.

"Dipper"

He jumped upon hearing that.

It seemed to trigger something, he turned to see tailia shaking his shoulder- stupid birthmark gave him that nickname

"We're gonna go get some ice cream, fancy it"

He had to shake his head at that, he never was a fan of ice cream or stuff like that, it was a wonder whenever the two could actually convince the boy to get ice cream or something like that.

"Well guess we'll see you at school tommrow"

And with that he found himself alone again, oh well gave him time to find some tree and read against for an hour or two. He had a favourite spot near the park where children liked to play, the sun was blocked by all of the leaves on the trees so he wouldn't get sun burnt whilst trying to read.

Once at his regular spot he opened the book up finding a bookmark already in- he wasn't the nosy sort of person normally but today he seemed to be playing the role of the cat and peaked at the page

Triangular theroy- with an awful bright yellow highlighter.

Lovely

He looked at the triangle again and could swear he saw an eye.

With that images of some werid floating triangle flashed before his eyes with the same phrase repeating in his ear- trust no one.

Who, who couldn't be trusted and why did he feel like he knew that voice, it was grating and seemed to go right through him

He rembered standing in the mirror looking at himself in some sort of black suit, something like a preist would wear and his eyes were yellow, glowing almost.

He jumped back putting the book on the floor- he was not going crazy, maybe he had just not had the right amount of sleep for the past few nights. The mind starts to play tricks on someone when they have a lack of sleep - he just couldn't quite remember how much sleep it was until that started to happen.

It was like 5 days without sleep that it started right?

Ok, maybe he was going crazy.

But why did it have to start now.

He looked up and saw a teenager girl watching him- he hair was bleached completely white and down, almost reached the end of her back it seemed in that braid. She looked to be wearing a black vest with a matching pair of jeans.

She wasn't wearing shoes though, from here it looked like her eyes were blood red as she glared at him. He couldn't seem to move any part of his body whilst looking at her

Pinetree

"Bill" he jumped looking around him before looking down at his arms where glowing yellow marks were making themselves apparent

At the base of his hands were weird looking pinetree markings

Pinetree... pinetree, he had herd that before from someone

pine...pines

Who was bill?

Wait that was a dumb question- bill was that stupid triangle who he had let take over his body.... Wait why was here and not back in

"Gravity falls, why am i here, i shouldnt be here" He said to himself realising something had happened to his memories... his last name wasn't wood it was pines... dipper pines and he had a sister, a twin sister. A twin sister who he had left in a town that was being taken over by the undead blood suckers

He looked up at the girl again, no question about it that girl was a vampire, by the looks of her a newly turned one too though that didn't explain the bleach white hair.

He stood up, leaving the book and walked towards her- he didn't pay his glowing arms much mind at this moment he could figure that out later. He put his hand out towards her "Are you ok"

She looked at his arms before looking up at her, she seemed affraid but that quickly shifted into something else. She smirked at him

"Gideon has mabel, and he's going to have fun draining away whatever life she has left....He's coming for you next pinetree" She cackled at the end of her sentace before stepping out into the sun- she seemed to glow for a second before bursting into flames- near the end she realised what was happening and started screaming for her life.... No one turned around

Compulsion- that was something he had read that vampires were able to do but never on this mass scale.

He shook his head looking down at his arms where the glow was gone but the marks were still their, they had turned a pink colour like they had been burnt into his skin

Mabel

She wasn't safe alone.

He looked around the park before using his phone to look up direction, texting some sort of excuse to tailia and leaving .... Back towards what was once his home

It was going to be a few days before he finally got to gravity falls

The vampire had mabel pinned up against the wall, one arm against her neck whilst being stood on her feet, the other hand keeping her arms above her head. Her fangs were out in some sort of twisted smile whilst looking at her like she was about to bite mabel and take away her life

She wouldn't though

Gideon would have resevered that just for himself

Greedy pig

"I will never understand why you won't just let him turn you," She said pushing further with her arm which contricted mabels airways "You could stay this beautiful for eternity and be so powerful that no one would ever mess you, never look at you wrong again"

Mabel struggled against her grip managing to slip one of her arms free from the things grip

She was not a woman, she gave that up when she allowed herself to be bitten.Amelie reacted by pushing her body right up against mabels which kept her arm completely in place

"This heartless" She chocked out before angrily gritting her teeth together and glaring at amelie as she started to struggle again- she was going to be lucky to get out of this one, without the bruising. Amelie returned the look to mabel, the look was full of an intent to kill.Her nails dug into mabels arm scratching through a few layers of her skin which made blood run down her arm. It dripped down onto mabels face, running down her nose and lips.

Amelie restrained herself somehow, Mabel knew Gideon had use for the girl,a blood bank that he could have completely to himself- to be compelled to do what ever wanted

"Who has time to feel emotions" she answered practically growling at her, she never broke eye contact from her as mabel managed to move her arms enough to loosen her knife strap. She gripped onto the handle

She had to play the waiting game

"Emotions mean your human l" Mabel answered gripping tightly onto her knife ready to swipe it, possibly in the girls face.

No she needed to get the chest

"I said bye bye to being human a long time ago" She smirked moving her body away from mabel

Nows the time

Mabel's actions were swift, she plunged the knife into the vampires chest. She screamed stepping back before falling to the floor where she revived in circles attempting to get the knife out of her chest, her skin started to turn grey and cake over itself.

Mabel stood over her and watched as her eyes turned a blue colour rather than the red colour she had always known them to be, her hair returned to some sort of blonde colour

Mabel looked down at her before pulling out her own knife and picking up something blunt to put into her chest. She moved it around a little bit attempting to make the hole in her chest bigger

She couldn't chance it

She stopped when she was sure it was safe, she put her knife back into the strap, picked up her bag and walked out- hoping to return to the safety of the mystery shack.

Gideon closed the door to his study before turning to look at the man wearing a black pair of trousers and a shirt with a pastel yellow waist coat.His back was to gideon "You remember the deal, I get those pines twins- drained of blood. You can do the draining of who ever you like" He turned around to look at gideon, one of his eyes was covered by an eyepatch while his other eye was glowing yellow "And i will reward you by making all the huamans bow down to you"<

Gideon nods at him "I already have all of the other pillars in serperation being worked away at- wendy, mabel and dipper are loose ends" The man nods before looking at gideon

He was the only one of the pillars that had been drained centuries ago, he was the one to set off this- he made the deal

"Good"

Bill turned around to look at the ruins of the town that had once been the central place of weirdness "One more thing, i'll be taking mabel once she's a floating soul"

Gideon didn't fight it- his life could easily be taken away for refusing.

Hey Taylor!!! I wanted to tell you how much I love you and how much your music has made me the person I am today!! I love you so so so much!!! 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞

It all started when I was around 5 years old, I was OBSESSED with the album Fearless, I knew all the words to every song!! Then in grade 1, when I was 5 there was a talent show and so me and my friends sang teardrops on my guitar (I wish I had a video) but I was in love with everyone you wrote especially You Belong With Me, it was my favourite song of yours, then you announced your Fearless tour and you were coming to Ottawa and so my dad and my mom planned to go see you and bought tickets! Closer and closer to the show date I would never stop singing your songs and my dad thought it would make more sense if he gave his ticket to me instead. And so me as a 5 year old got to see you live for the first time and it was AMAZING - you opened with You Belong With Me and I was screaming and jumping up and down!!!

That’s a short video of me from the concert!! From then on I was a HUGE fan of yours, we sadly couldn’t go to the Speak Now tour but we bought the CD from the concert and listened to it non-stop, we also couldn’t go to RED because it again didn’t come to Ottawa and I was a little too young to be going to Toronto to see you. But then for the 1989 world tour when I was 11 you came back to Ottawa!!! Me and my mom were so so so excited but when my mom tried to get tickets, they sold out in like seconds and we weren’t able to get any :( but little did we know that my dad had secretly got them pre-sale without telling us and he surprised us for Christmas!!! They were first level and we had such an amazing view of the stage!!! I had the time of my life it was soooo much fun!!!

Then the reputation era arrived when I was 13 and I was so so so in love with the album, right after you announced the tour me and my mom already had our costumes planned (it was our first time ever doing costumes we were so excited) we bought tickets for the second night of the Toronto show with our pre sale boosts!! We were over the moon and planned to dress up as me as a daisy and my mom as poison ivy!!

I then decided to make a swiftie account on Instagram!! I met a bunch of nice swifties on there who helped me a bunch!! Then Christmas of 2017 my friends found my Instagram account and started laughing and making jokes, they knew I was a huge swiftie but they thought it was so funny that I had an insta account for you... it really was a sad time because it got to me and I ended up deleting the account and not getting a new one for months, but I realized how much having that account meant to me and how much happiness it gave me and how it shouldn’t matter what people thought cuz your so amazing and I wanted to make an account haha and I needed to make another, so I did and from then I was opened into the world of swiftie accounts - I never knew how many accounts there were, on twitter and tumblr so I then got those too and I don’t know how I ever lived without them I can’t go a day without going on twitter and seeing how everyone is doing, now I’m not much of an insta swiftie, I really love twitter. But at that time, there was still something in me scared to post anything really about me to the point I wouldn’t tell people my name in fear my friends would find me. One month after making my twitter account I got my first TN notice, I screamed so loud my mom thought I was burning something since I was cooking at the same time!! I had so much excitement - it was amazing to see that they saw my tweet and liked it!!! Me and my mom then decided we couldn’t just go to one show and had to go to the other toronto show which took some convincing of my dad but he finally agreed and we got really high nosebleeds for the first night!!! Then tour came and me and my mom started to post pictures of us in our costumes and that’s when I added my name to my account and never looked back. When there was 5 days till our show it happened again TN liked my tweet and omg was I ever excited! The days of the shows were the best two nights of my life!! One the first day we got upgraded to pit and It was insane seeing you so close up!!! I’m now Obsessed with twitter and tumblr. It makes me so happy being able to have this connection with you and so many other swifties!! And allllll of the theroies are AMAZING and they make me laugh so much sksks especially that were 5 holes in the fence

Your music has changed me so much and made me such a better person - I’m now 14 and almost done my first year in high school and your song Fifteen has been a song that I’ve always thought of as a song I would listen to my first year of high school and I’m so glad I have that song in my life to guide me! You’ve inspired me in ways I could never explain and I’m so happy to call my self a swiftie. You are the kindest and most loving person and I hope that one day I’ll be able to thank you in person!! I’m so so so excited for this next era that is coming and can’t stop listening to ME! on repeat!!! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us this era!!!!

Queen Family prepares for theroy wedding

“And then you’ll walk town the aisle with little Sara,” Thea explained.

But Tommy’s face contorted and he began to pout. “Why?”

“Because that’s how it’s done at weddings kiddo.”

“But I don’t like Sara.”

Oliver was showing William how to tie a tie as he listened in on his sister and his middle child.

“What are you talking about,” Thea smiled. “Sara and you are bffs.”

“She took my cookie during snack time at Aunt Lyla’s, she’s a meany,” the three year old huffed. “I wanna walk with Uncle Roy.”

“Hey T,” William crouched down getting at eye level with his brother. “You know I saw Sara when I dropped off Uncle Diggle’s tux. And she was super sorry she ate your cookie.”

“She was?”

“Are you kidding me, she tried to stuff my pockets with animal crackers for you. But I didn’t have room.”

“You should of grabbed a bag,” he said in a serious tone.

To his credit, William held back his groan. “Next time, kid. But for now, why don’t you accept your fate, walk with your best friend, and go play with your Legos.”

“Ooh I need to work on my Death Star.”

And with that Tommy zoomed out of the sitting room and towards the staircase. He was only stopped when Oliver heard his wife’s voice call after him. “Do not wake your sister.”

“Okay,” Tommy called back at near top volume.

Felicity entered the room, leaning against the door frame. Oliver could see her in the mirror Thea insisted on dragging out of the study.

“Excuse me,” he said an air of humor in his voice. “Are you checking me out?”

“Duh, that’s why I married you so I could do it all the time,” she came into the room, and took a seat next to Thea. “Where is the groom?”

“Ollie banished him from the house until after the ceremony tomorrow.”

“Oliver!”

“She’s exaggerating,” he turned to face his wife. “I said that considering the string of bad luck this family inherits, perhaps sticking to some traditions is wise.”

“We saw each other before we got married.”

“We had also just survived invaders from another earth who crashed our friends wedding hell bent on stealing another friend’s heart,” he paused. “And then the team broke up for six months.”

She grimaced. “He might have a point on the bad luck thing.”

“It’s okay,” Thea smiled. “He’s hanging with John and Quentin right now, and after Rene drops Zoe off, the boys will all head out, and it will be girl’s night.”

“One last hurrah,” Felicity cheered. “I mean unless we need to spend the whole night reminding you how happy you are about this wedding.”

Thea rolled her eyes. “My feet are 100% toasty over here. I have wanted this for a long time.”

“Good.”

Oliver crossed his arms as he spoke. “You two are still so young.”

“Here we go again,” but his sister smirked at him. “I’m 26 Ollie.”

“I didn’t get married until I was in my 30s.”

“Because you didn’t meet the love of your life until well past 26.”

“It wasn’t well past,” he grumbled, turning back to William. “We met when I was 27. And it didn’t take long for me to know how important she was.”

“And yet it still took three years for a kiss, and six for a wedding band,” she teased.

“Are you complaining?” he came to stand behind her spot on the couch, leaning over to kiss her.

“Complain me? Never.”

“I didn’t see you making the first move.”

“I made plenty of moves.”

“Name one?”

“All my innuendos.”

“Those were slip ups you said.”

“Oh hon, yes I mean a few were slip ups, but I’d say about 50/50 on the actual ‘omg will he ever get the hint’. At least until we were actually friends. And then it was 60/40.”

“For or against?”

“I feel that I do not want to incriminate myself in front of my sister-in-law and our eldest.”

“It’s okay,” William said. “We already know you two are hopeless, in love and in general.”

Thea laughed, giving her nephew a high five.

“Hush the both of you,” Felicity tossed a pillow at Thea.

“Hey you shouldn’t beat up the bride.”

As Felicity stuck her tongue out in response, the door bell sounded and Oliver made his way to answer it.

Zoe stood on the other side with a grin. “Sup Mr. Q?”

“Hey Zoe, you hear for girl’s night.”

“Only because Dad insisted on hosting you guys,” she shrugged. “But it’s cool, Aunt D said she was gonna show me some take down moves.”

“Well if so do that in the backyard please.”

“Can do,” she entered, rocking on her heels. “Dad said he’d wait in the car for you guys. Even put in the booster seat for Tommy.”

“Thank you.”

William entered the foyer and locked eyes with Zoe. But neither seemed to want to speak.

“William why don’t you go get your brother so we can head out?”

“Um,” he tore his gaze from Zoe. “Sure. I’ll be right back.”

As he trudged up the stairs Zoe was pulled from her trance and she smiled once more. “I’m gonna go see what snacks Raisa made for tonight.”

“Knock yourself out.”

When she wandered off Felicity entered the small area and sighed. “I had hoped those two would have talked about things by now.”

“Things? What things?”

“Zoe’s going to forensic camp this summer,” Felicity said like the answer was obvious.

“And William’s not okay with it?”

“Not when he thought she was still going to help him coach the junior league softball team this year.”

“Ah.”

“He says they just started up but it already feels like they’re pulling away.”

“Summer’s still months from now.”

“You know how it is when your young, and all those love feelings are so new.”

“I should talk to him.”

“Yes you should,” she walked over kissing his cheek. “But this weekend isn’t about William and Zoe, it’s about Thea and Roy. So talk to him after they wedding’s all said and done.”

“Since you’re the one asking,” he smiled at her. “You think if we had waited and had a big wedding you would have been as calm as Thea?”

“I mean you’ve met my mother right?”

“So maybe not.”

“Oliver, I don’t live with any regrets about how and when we got married,” she whispered, running a hand along his jaw. “Thea and Roy are doing exactly what it right for them. And I cannot wait to stand next to them and watch them get married tomorrow.”

“I agree.”

“Good,” she kissed him once more and smiled. “Please do not put another arrow in Roy before the ceremony.”

“I make no promises.”

“Oliver,” her tone was playful but also edged on a warning.

“Fine, I promise not to maim my soon to be brother-in-law.”

“Good,” she replied. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“I’ll be the one in a tux.”

“Technically all the guys will be.”

“Fine I’ll be the one in a tux who won’t be able to look at anyone but you,” he amended giving her one final kiss as the boys trudged down the stairs. He turned to them. “Ready to go.”

“Yep,” they chorused and made their way out the door.

“Guess that’s my cue.”

“Have fun with the boys,” she grinned. “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”

“Back at you.”

“Well that list is a lot longer than mine.”

“Goodbye hon.”

“See you later dear.”
