Nap Time
Eternal Servants AU belongs to @emelinstriker
Scenario: Reader wants to sleep. Needs to have their favorite fur covered boys to sleep well.
You were lying down, trying to go to sleep. And yet it elludes you like water from a ducks back. You knew you were tired, yet your mind refused to turn off in order for you to get your REM sleep.
You finally breathed in and give a sigh of defeat. Lifting your head from the pillow and looked up. "Guys? Could you-?"
"Yes Master!?" Macaque knelt before you, at eye level where you were lying in the couch. You stared at him. Bemused at his speed. "Can i ask you, Wukong, and MK to come here for a sec?" That order request did not take long to be fulfilled.
"Is there something we can do Master?" MK asked, looking up at you. "It's not a big deal, just a lil thing." You assured the three monkey champions kneeling in front of you. " Um... Can I ask you guys to just... Lie next to me? Like. One on each side? I'm more used to my cats lying next to me while I go to sleep and uh..." By the look on their faces, they could feel your sorrow from missing your pet. You took in a deeper breath, held in your chest as you tried to speak. "I just need some company while I go to sleep."
" of course" you were so tired you couldn't tell if it was Wukong or MK saying this. You knew it wasnt Macaque since he wad always so loud and eager to please you. Eventually you felt Wukong on your left and Macaque on your right. Both nuzzling into your shoulder and side respectfully. MK was clinging to you while burrying his head into your chest. Right over your heart. All of whom had their arms wrapped around you ans their tails wurled either around your legs or your waist. It was... Soothing. In no time your eyes closed, and you drifted off to sleep. Feeling comfort in those around you.
And when you felt Wukong place a kiss on your head, it was over. You heard his voice before going straight into dreamland. "Have a good night Master."

KINNPORSCHE TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVENT
– prompt: legacy
Vegas stares at the spot on the floor: dark red spatters, barely visible on the mahogany wood.
He sinks to his knees, reaching out to ghost his fingertips over the bloody edges.
Pete's broken sobs echo in his ears; his shattered self in Vegas' hands, falling apart underneath the blade of his knife.
This is his legacy, he thinks.
Eternal violence, selfish destruction.
Having a good thing and ruining it just the same.
The wild animal of his heritage going in for the kill; bleeding Pete dry for everything that he's worth.
He really is no different from his father.

anyways what’s stopping me rn from writing a fanfic where ProHero!Bakugou stumbles across fanfictions about him and he jokingly starts reading them to the rest of the heroes but he starts to get a little annoyed at how the writer portrays him so he goes out of his way to make an account (blackandorangeexplosionking) to comment on the fics like
“Dynamite wouldn’t do this”
“He can definitely lift more than 800 hundred pounds”
“He doesn’t smell sweet, he smells really manly and not like caramel”
“Dynamite doesn’t live in a fuckin’ penthouse, he has a nice house in the suburbs away from all these extras. He’s not like fuckin’ IcyHot”
And the writers like ???? Shut up these are my headcanons about him and you can’t change how I see him??? If you wanna write what you think he can / can’t do, what he does / doesn’t like, write your own stories???
And he gets upset and comments “I know him personally and he thinks these are dumb stories”
And writers like 🙄🙄✋🏽lol ok whatever loser
And Bakugou gets so riled up he stops commenting on writers stories and just starts sending them messages on every platform they have; telling them that they have false information and they have no idea who dynamite really is and writing him how they do is stupid and writer finally gets fed up and is like ok let’s meet up and fckn talk at a coffee shop or something since you feel so passionate about these fictional headcanons / stories about a prohero who won’t ever see them
Bakugou’s foaming at the mouth ready to rip into the writer so he drops the name of a hole in the wall coffee shop and says they have 30 minutes, he’ll be sitting in the back and so he shows up 20 minutes early to sit and rehearse what he’s going to say and tell them to take down their stories because theyre not accurate but then the cutest cutie pie (writer🤍) walks in with an annoyed look on their face and he’s lost for words (wow for once) and doesn’t know what to say to them.
Bakugous wearing a mask and a hat pulled over his ash blonde hair but his carmine eyes are sharp as ever as he assesses the writer; their eyes widening in recognition of the pro hero Dynamite sitting in front of them. It had been Dynamite all along reading the silly head canons and stories about himself, no wonder he made comments like that. And oh my god the fucking smut Jesus Christ. Embarrassment was evident on writers face but they sit down across from him and patiently wait for him to tell them everything they got wrong.

Birthday Request Event
"It's my birthday and I'll write what I want to \o/"
Gift Details ♥ Reader: afab/fem!Reader Character: Trafalgar Law Kink: #8 Breeding Kink Prompt: #9 "Fuck, you feel so good." Gift Giver: @jadedrrose
Summary: Law promises to attend to you thoroughly, after you spent all day wanting his attention.
Content Notes: vaginal fingering, light begging, praise, dirty talk, cream pie, soft dom Law
Tumblr media
This birthday party is 18+, consensual unless explicitly stated otherwise, and BYOB
Your hands were on the backs of your knees, holding onto your legs as Law’s hands pressed into your thighs, helping you spread your legs wider for him. The position was embarrassing, more so because he’d spent a few minutes just looking at you while you held yourself open for him. Those golden eyes didn’t seem to miss anything, and the tip of his tongue over his upper lip as he nearly leered at you already had your breath coming out heavy.
“You look so beautiful like this,” he murmurs, hand running down your thigh as he unbuttons his jeans, pushing the pants and boxers down and stroking his stiffening cock slowly.  The way your expression changed when you saw his dick just turned him on more.
It wasn’t fear, not after the first time when the size had darkened your features a little, but now it was just desire. Greedy, needy, desperately obvious for him to see, and he loved it.
“Law, please,” you beg a little, shifting your hips.
“Begging already? Not even going to let me play with you a little first?” He hums the words, moving his hand from his shaft to your slit, pressing a finger against your lips. He moves it up and down a little, grinning as he pushes a long finger inside you.
“You’re already so wet.” He pushes a second finger in, causing you to gasp as a lewd wet sound fills the air. “When you said you’d been thinking about me all day, you meant you’d been thinking about doing this with me all day, hm?”
You avert your face, gnawing on your lip a little. You hear Law chuckle quietly, leaning down and kissing the top of your head.
“I’m flattered,” he assures you, leaning back and lining himself up with your soaking pussy. “If you’ve been wanting this all day, I won’t keep you waiting.”
He pushes in a little, grabbing onto your thigh once the tip’s in, and pushing your legs back as he sinks into you slowly. You let out a shaky breath as he fills you up, feet flexing as you try your best to stay still.
“That’s my good little snowdrop.” He sighs, moving your legs so your ankles are against his shoulders, threading his fingers through yours and holding your hands as he begins to move slowly. Your legs trembling against his chest make it difficult for him to continue his slow pace, but he’s not ready to rush yet.
“You always… feel so good,” he says, leaning over you. The motion presses your legs back, though not any more than they had been earlier. “Everything from your trembling limbs,” he teases, kissing your ankle. “To your tight, trembling, sweet fucking pussy.” He nearly growls the words, pinning your hands into the bed and snapping his hips into you to punctuate each word.
Law grinds his hips into you, pushing deep and leaning into you more. You gasp at the sensation, squirming under him as he begins to thrust into you, leaning low enough your legs slip off his shoulders and rest into the crooks of his arms.
He slows a little, lips brushing against yours, following behind an airy gasp from you, and kissing you deeply. His hands hold onto your tightly as his tongue pushes in your mouth, hips pushing him deeper and grinding into your clit with each shift and movement. You turn your head to the side, drawing in a deep breath and shaking from the pleasure building.
“Please!” You gasp as he kisses and licks your neck, pushing pleasure into you as you twist and tremble under him. “Please, La-Law.”
“Mmm, please what?” He murmurs into your skin, teeth sliding against tender flesh and pulling shivering gasps from you.
“F-fill me up. Cum… inside me, please.” You beg, a moan rattling in your chest as his teeth press into your skin just deep enough to make your back try to arch, despite being pressed into the mattress.
“Anything for you, (Y/N).” He agrees, nipping at your earlobe a little before he adjusts enough to start thrusting into you almost roughly. His breath is coming out heavy and you realize he was holding himself back for a while, almost as though he was waiting for you to ask for it.
His hips buck erratically, thrusting almost harshly as you feel him empty himself inside you. His fingers tighten against yours, flexing jerkily as a soft grunt turns into a few heavy breaths. He shifts his hips slowly, grinding against your clit and keeping you on edge while he takes a moment to recover.
“I’m going to fill you up twice as much as I make you cum,” he insists, grinning as he starts to move his hips more. “Or maybe I’ll make you cum twice as much as I fill you up.” He corrects, leaning low and speaking right by your ear.
“I’m sure you’ll be too full of cum and pleasure to know which one it was by the end of it.”

random thought, feel free to ignore- but i wonder, considering the similarity in location, if the "selunite enclave outside the city" aylin and isobel mentioned would be hector's monastery in this worldstate?
HOLY SHIT. \o/
Hang on, I need to drop everything and roll with this idea because I love it. You just made my whole evening.
------
"Father Enric!"
The young acolyte is breathing hard as he comes to a stop inside the small chapel on the north end of Silverlight Monastery.
Enric, startled from his prayers, looks up with a raised eyebrow, then slowly, painfully shifts himself to his feet. (Age is telling on him, after all these years, despite all the training and discipline to which he has devoted his life.) "Calm yourself, Jakob," he says gently, keeping his voice deliberately calm in the face of the younger man's agitation. "Speak softly and without heat. What is it?"
In truth, he can guess. Another sally by the Absolutists - that terrible cult that has risen from the south. They have made three attacks against the monastery thus far, and the walls have held against their arrows and battering rams-- but not without damage, and not without casualty to the monks and clerics within.
The last attack was only three days ago, he thinks bleakly. We are not ready for another so soon.
But Jakob's news surprises him - it is not that at all.
"Two visitors on the road, Father Abbot, sir," the boy says. He is trying to maintain his composure but failing-- there is fear in his expression, and also a sort of perplexed excitement. "They come alone, but armed. One of them is an aasimar, father, and Brother Lloyd on the wall says that where the moonlight touched her, she glowed like a beacon!"
Enric's eyes widen. He reaches out to put a hand on Jakob's shoulder. "See that they are brought to my office at once. And wake someone in the kitchens."
-----
An hour or so later, there is a soft knock at his office door.
"Come in." He turns from where he is standing by the window, and finds himself meeting the eyes of a woman some three or four inches taller than he himself.
Tumblr media
She puts an arm across her chest, bows respectfully. "In the name of the Lady we both serve, I greet you, Father Abbot," she says gravely.
Her eyes are so pale as to be almost white, and her skin to match, shot through with lines of gold like a piece of mended pottery. The wings at her back would likely stretch the width of the small office if she extended them, but one is furled at her back and the other wrapped around the shoulders of a smaller and rather exhausted-looking human woman, who is leaned up against the aasimar's side as if huddled against a tree in a storm.
"And I you," Enric answers, inclining his head politely. "You are--" He hesitates. "I hope you will forgive the presumption, but I hope my guess is correct. Are you the Dame Aylin that once walked these lands as our lady's right hand?"
She smiles slowly. "I am. It may be told by the moonlight upon my sword and the righteous fire within my heart."
Enric allows himself the briefest flash of pride at the monastery's record-keeping; even to the armor she wears, she looks exactly as the histories describe her. But that pride is almost lost in a much greater wave of emotion that is pure awe, for Dame Aylin (those same histories say) is the daughter of Selune herself. She has not been seen in the flesh for over a century. The last records of her are in letters from Moonrise before that cursed place fell to darkness.
"You honor us with your presence at Silverlight," he says. He starts to kneel, but she shakes her head impatiently, reaches out and takes him by the arm.
"We have come to aid your fight," she says briskly. "For we have seen the darkness of the Absolute face to face, and know the struggle that has set upon you these many weeks. My darling Isobel and I shall be the sword and shield of my mother on your behalf."
The human at Aylin's side -- Isobel? -- smiles wearily. "After a night's rest, I should hope," she murmurs, then adds to Enric, "We have come many leagues in a short time, that we might be of service to you."
Enric's practiced self-control is serving him well here -- but only with difficulty. The urge to simply gape in astonishment at the two new arrivals is considerable. "To stand at your side against this evil is a blessing none of us would have dreamed of," he says softly. "We would gladly accept, and offer you in return all that is ours in sustenance and shelter."
Aylin looks pleased. "A bargain it is, then," she says. Lifting one eyebrow, she studies Enric thoughtfully for a moment. "I see shades of him in you, most certainly - the shades which would have been passed by a lifetime's teaching. I am sure you are the man Hector has often spoken of. Enric of Trielta."
Enric is so startled that for a moment his self-control slips utterly. And though some of the surprise is at hearing this divine creature utter his name, more is for the source she mentions for her knowledge.
"Hector?" he asks. His eyebrows lift in sudden urgent question. "Forgive me-- do you speak of Hector Carlisle?"
Twin smiles flash onto the faces of both women at the name. "She does indeed," Isobel says.
"Hector is alive?" Even Enric himself is a little surprised at the rush of joy that goes through him at the news. "We all thought-- when the attack came upon the city, that terrible ship... we thought he must be dead. He was only in the market long enough to purchase supplies, but he never came back..."
"I can assure you," Aylin says, "Hector has not only climbed from the pit of that ship but triumphed over forces the likes of which we may all fervently hope you can never comprehend. You should be deeply proud to call him brother."
"As I am, and have been, and will be. Moonmaiden be praised... you are truly a bearer of all the best of news."
A flash of something that might be humor goes through the aasimar's eyes. "Should you expect anything else of Dame Aylin?" she says, raising one eyebrow.
"I--" He blinks, stammering uncertainly.
"My love jests," Isobel says, a little dryly. "It is hard to tell sometimes, I know."
Aylin makes a soft snorting noise but does not dispute the statement.
"But what she says of Hector is true," the human goes on. "He saved us both from a deep darkness at Moonrise Towers, after a century of loss, and has gone on to the city to face down the heart of the Absolute. I will not tell you his story while he still remains to perhaps one day tell you himself... but I will say that he speaks of you, of this place, every day-- with loyalty and gratitude."
She hesitates, then adds delicately, "You may, I suspect, not quite recognize him as the man who left, when he returns again."
That is a sobering thought, and Enric has to pause to consider it for a while before answering. "If he has faced the darkness so closely as you say, it would be foolish of me to expect it," he says finally. "But I cannot express how much it gladdens me to hear that he lives. He has been greatly missed, these last months."
He gestures to the chairs in front of his desk. "Please. Sit. I will have food and drink brought, and I hope you will tell me more of what you have seen, and what still lies ahead to do."

Following the shouting along a convent she knew well by now, Jillian barged into an unknown cardinal roaring at a retracted but hostile Mother Superion.
His eyes widened at the intrusion. He pointed at Jillian.
“And you dare give her entrance to the cloister?! Are there no limits to your depravity? Make no mistake, Superion, you will be excommunicated for your indiscretions.”
He stormed off before either could respond.
Jillian looked at her, horrified, guilty.
Suzanne just shook her head and approached. With tears in her eyes, she did what her coming expulsion now allowed and kissed Jillian openly, passionately.

Hello!! I really love your writing! I like the way you write interactions between characters and how well you maintain their personalities! Sometimes, after I read these, I need to take a few moments to realize that they are not actually canon. (For me, they still are <3).
If it's not a bother, I would like to request Compliment + Yuno and any other character that you think will fit well!
Because of Yuno's past work, I always thought that the compliments her clients would give didn't truly mean much to her. At first, maybe these words gave her some warmth, but with time, she realized that these words were nothing more than superficial. And I think it would be nice to see Yuno actually being happy with the sincerity of a compliment addressed to her!
Thank you!!
Hi hello?? This is like the greatest compliment a writer could dream of thank you??? I have been very normal about this ;__;✨ And thank you for the request, I absolutely love that concept -- it's perfect for Yuno! I think between being so used to shallow/physical compliments combined with the fact that she has a lot of self-love already, a new type of compliment could really affect her. I debated on a few characters, but ended up setting this late T1 with Kotoko
Yuno was always complimented on her smile. It was beautiful, she was told. It was pure. Sweet. Innocent. Her lipstick looked nice. Her lips in general looked nice. She was just so… nice. Yuno was glad to have such a bright smile; it hid how much she was wanted to pick up the cards from her solitaire game and throw them as hard as she could at Shidou's face.
“Don’t worry, when you get to be my age, you’ll understand,” he was saying. “But I do love your optimism…”
She stretched that smile as far as it would reach. Shidou kept talking as he stood to leave, and she answered as politely and simply as possible. Once out of sight, she allowed herself a single, dramatic eyeroll. Everyone older than her thought they knew more than her. Men always thought they knew more than her.
But she wasn’t about to let it ruin the rest of her day. She turned her attention back to the cards, already working to forget the whole conversation. She’d nearly lost herself in new thoughts when a voice startled her at the end of the table.
“You’re strong, Yuno.”
She looked up to find Kotoko staring. She smirked at the comment -- she knew she had nothing on someone like her. The woman exuded strength, and had made more than one comment about the other prisoners’ physical fitness. Yuno flexed her right arm. “I didn’t do very well in the tournament, but thanks, I guess!”
Confusion flashed over her face. “No, not the arm wrestling thing we did the other day.”
“Oh, when we all jumped rope after dinner last week?”
“No, no. I mean… as a person.” Kotoko scooted closer. She always had a calculating look on her face, studying everyone around her. Yuno had expected to feel uncomfortable under such a gaze, (many of the other prisoners had voiced the sentiment,) but there was something almost pleasant about the way Kotoko stared. Yuno couldn’t put her finger on it.
She waved her hand dismissively. She knew the best way to accept praise was to play it down, just a bit. “Eh, sometimes it's gotta be like that, you know? I just do what I can to make it through the day, I wouldn't call that strong or anything…”
“Well I would.” Her gaze was level. “I think the way you handle everyone, never compromising on your own values, is very impressive. I’ve seen the way the others talk to you here. I can only imagine, with the line of work you’re in, what utter scumbags you’ve had to deal with on a daily basis. And yet,” she tipped her head, and Yuno suddenly understood. Kotoko looked at people as if she actually saw them. “You’ve never once raised your voice. Or scowled. Or even cried. Being sent to a place like this, after what you’ve done, it’d be enough to infuriate anyone.”
She surveyed the room, adding, “I'm still figuring this place out, but I can tell it's designed to break us. Which is why we need to stay strong. I just wanted to tell you, from one woman to another -- I'm glad to have someone like you fighting with me.”
Yuno’s smile had faded to surprise. At that moment, she did something that she hadn’t in an awfully long time.
She blushed at the compliment.
Maybe it was the way Kotoko said it. She wasn't the type of person to say anything she didn't mean. Maybe it was the fact that it was something new, not another comment about her lips or her laugh or her body. Or maybe it was because Yuno was tempted to believe it.
She’d heard so many voices lately, whispering how weak and helpless she must be to end up in this whole mess. The other prisoners, too, treated her according to her small build and unbroken nails. She suddenly realized how close she’d come to falling into the same mindset.
Getting a hold of herself, she made her voice light. “Well, I'd say the same to you, but I think you already know that, heh. But… thanks for saying all that.”
“Of course.” Kotoko’s smile was neither sweet nor innocent, but it was certainly honest. “I mean it.”
Yuno nodded. “I know.”

I find it great that a lot of the fandom looked at two out of time, out of place characters. Ingo and Protagonist, two characters with similar origins and have so much to relate to and thus fans agree that it is criminal and inexcusable that Gamefreak barely interact in Canon.
Everyone literally said "Screw Canon, These two are found family, train guy is dad/uncle/friend now
Love your PLA fics of that dynamic. I don't know if you're still open to prompts. You don't have to do this if you don't feel it but here's a prompt I got for you.
Explore Ingo's and Akari's relationship that develops post-game.
Many fics have them bond during the main plot but not much do post game events.
(You could touch events that occured preplot or during plot and explore how characters felt before they met)
Ohhhh interesting interesting interesting..... I think that's because most of us find it easiest to maneuver them around in-game events, and I don't think I've done too much post-gaming myself (easily distracted, started two other playthroughs)
I am definitely intrigued by this idea though. Do you mean they have their basic interaction in canon, but the further relationship develops post game? And what are we counting as post game- calming all the nobles & fighting palkia and dialga, but pre-volo? Or is Volo still part of the main playthrough?
Because I can see (rolling in the dad direction, as I do, in various directions) Ingo being distantly friendly with the protagonist (let's say Akari, as is my usual :,D sorry) He provides training at the dojo with Zisu, sees Akari there mostly, but doesn't much interact with her otherwise. I truly can't imagine him seeing her kicked out of jubilife and not doing anything- moral-wise, at least, I feel like he would say or do something. Even if he felt it wasn't his place as someone not of Jubilife, I think that he (and most of us, I would hope) would protest kicking a kid out of a safe area. It's possible he either wasn't there (returned to the Highlands for a time) or saw it happening, but didn't see Akari's face and assumed she was just going out for another mission. By the time he does hear about it, or understand what happened, and goes looking Akari has already been picked up by Volo. Ingo asks Irida if she knows where Akari can be found and Irida promises she's somewhere safe but can't say more. So until she returns, all Ingo can do is be satisfied that Akari is safe. He no longer trusts Jubilife residents as he did, especially Kamado, and spends less time there. When Akari returns having tamed the two gods, Ingo decides that maybe it's a little fucked up that this kid has done all this on her own. She's still just like 15 at most, right?
He attempts to strike up conversations at the dojo without being creepy, because some part of him is well aware how it might seem if someone of his age shows too much interest in a teenager (the very thought turns his stomach in disgust. He feels regretful that he couldn't help earlier.) but thankfully Akari likes to talk about the Pokedex, and Ingo is a walking Pokedex as well in a way. There's no one able to battle quite like him, which actually helps Akari with her research. She starts searching him out more because he never requires anything or expects anything of her, and they can talk about pokemon or item crafting or food easily. In fact, she starts going to him when she finds strange pokemon in space-time rifts because Ingo almost always finds them familiar and has something to say about them. Sometimes they'll run into each other in the highlands and Ingo will take her somewhere cool, or just take her to a neat little meadow and tell her to chill out because she's spiraling in anxiety over the work she still has to do. They end up bonding over little things and helping each other, with Ingo gradually becoming the first person Akari goes to when she has news because his enthusiasm is always genuine and a little extra but it's nice.
They bond further after Akari battles Volo and comes down from the summit looking absolutely wrecked and in tears. She's been betrayed and had what she thought was a dear, close friendship destroyed. Ingo doesn't pry as much as he wants to- he's upset that she's upset, and he wants to know what happened because this time they're friendly. He cares for her as family and wants to hurt whoever hurt her. But Akari comes first, and so he takes her to his home and lets her wallow in her misery until she can tell him what happened. He asks if she wants him to track Volo down and take care of him, but Akari denies it and says he doesn't need to act like her dad when he isn't. Which kind of makes Ingo stop and think bc... Well. He doesn't have kids. Has never had much interest in having kids. But he likes Akari, and he thinks that she could use a father figure, and he wouldnt mind filling those shoes... So he accepts her request, but he tells her then and there that he doesn't mind acting as her father (figure) because he does genuinely care for her and her well being. Which isn't something Akari was expecting and she kind of stammers... Declines... Takes off. And it hurts but Ingo lets her go. It's her decision to accept or not, and he won't force her one way or another. He appreciates their friendship too much.
Akari avoids him for a couple weeks, which sucks but Ingo stands by his decision to not push. He continues his work in the Highlands, continues training at the dojo, until one day he finds himself standing in front of the photo parlor. He's gotten a picture of himself before, but he was alone and it didn't feel right. It felt like something was missing. Someone should've been by his side, at his back. He's lost in thought until he feels the wristband of his coat get tugged on and looks to see Akari standing beside him, shifty. She apologizes for running off and avoiding him, explains that she had to think, and he accepts her apology. Says he understands, because it was something he'd gradually come to realize and that he shouldn't have sprung it on her. And Akari is clearly Not Of This Time because she gets quiet and then asks him, really fast and kind of quiet, that he meant like being her DAD and not her DADDY right, because she REALLY didn't see him like that and- and Ingo immediately says NO ABSOLUTELY NOT. Just... Dad. Acting as a caretaker. Keeping her safe. Being a place of refuge. Platonic father feelings ONLY. And Akari looks relieved, and Ingo is also relieved because he definitely doesn't see her that way and is glad she now understands that. He shudders at the thought, and she laughs at him, and Ingo pretends to glare at her and scold her but she settles in a little closer.
She looks at the building with all the photos and paintings and asks what he was up to. He explains that he was wondering if he should try getting another picture done, that he'd had one taken before but had needed to throw it away because looking at it made him feel uncomfortable. Akari asks if he thinks it has something to do with the man in white and ingo... nods, because now that she mentioned it, yes. Because the man in white is not here, and Ingo is alone. Apparently he says that out loud, and Akari's face flushes as she takes his hand and drags him inside. Because Ingo's not alone anymore, she says, because they're family. So until the man in white is back, she's going to be where he was. And they take the picture, and it's not exactly perfect... She doesn't fit like he thinks she should, and the pose is weird and not quite correct, but as he looks at the photo she handed him before going to grab some of her gear to take up to the Highlands - there's something she needs to check on, she said, and since Ingo has decided she's his responsibility obviously her DAD needs to go with her! - he feels... Better. Not fixed, but still... Complete. He's not alone. He has family now.
He tucks the photo into his coat for safe keeping, and when Akari returns to his side (she said she'd see him as her father, would she call him dad? Should he call her his daughter? They'll need to talk about it.) he smiles, and she smiles back, and for now everything will be okay. He is not part of an incomplete set anymore.
#Dad Ingo#PLA Akari#Warden Ingo#Akari#Pokemon Akari#Asked and answered#I hope this fits what the asker was looking for? I definitely have a few ideas running around in my head now for this.#Just drabbles... Just thoughts...#Maybe not complete fics but I definitely enjoy the thought workout#If post-volo is post game then I'm thinking Ingo finds Akari when she comes down from the peak...#Or he finds her on the peak bc Volo stormed off and she was terrified and exhausted#And once the worst was over she just passed out#Sneasler alerts him and he goes and picks her up. And they'd been on friendly terms before but for some reason#With an unconscious kid in his arms Ingo realizes just how young she is. And just how much she's been through.#And she hasn't been alone. Not really. But she also hasn't had really steady and solid support has she?#Her friends in jubilife had to walk on egg shells when she was just the Faller. They couldn't do anything but protest#To try and help her when she was banished. Even Irida and adaman could only do so much.#Ingo is in a gray area of Not Clan and Not Jubilife. He's low-key outside all rules isn't he?#So he decides he's going to step up. That's his friend. That's his kid now. Congratulations Akari you've been adopted#And Akari is confused at the sudden care coming from Ingo. He gives her snacks and pokeballs. Makes sure she's healthy.#She thinks it's just because he's concerned about her after finding her at the peak and her being unconscious for a while#(which is definitely part of it)#It's not until she gets scolded for doing something reckless and one of the security corps laughs#Says their mom used to do the same thing when they did something stupid. Would tell them off and then hug them.#That Akari realizes holy SHIT Ingo is a whole ass dad to her isn't he!!!#And then they have a conversation about found family and each other and Akari absolutely ends up teasing him#She's thankful ofc but buddy you really saw a kid in need and went 'is nobody going to take care of them???'#Didn't wait for an answer before saying 'fine I guess I'll do it myself'

Y'know, if Ford was getting his back blown out in the mindscape all the time for years, then there must have been a point where he felt so comfortable and loved and safe around Bill that he ended up hugging Bill tightly afterwards and sobbing for an inordinate amount of time while he spilled his guts to Bill about how much this relationship means to him. I don't have the energy to write a whole fic about this right now, but imagine him sobbing to Bill about how he's never felt this seen before, about how he's never felt like someone intimately knows and loves everything about him before, and thanking Bill for being the first person to ever make him feel this way and the first person to ever make him feel safe enough to fully be himself around him. Imagine Bill just kinda standing there awkwardly while being hugged at first, feeling wayyyy out of his depth and very ready for this moment to be over, but the longer Ford goes into detail about how impossible it's been for him to fully open up to anyone before, and how grateful he is that Bill has shown him what it's like to be fully loved and understood for the first time, the more feelings rise up inside Bill that he's been in denial about for a long time.
Things like Genuinely Caring About This Human, things like Being Touched By How Much The Human Loves Him. Even things like... jealousy? Bill tells himself that can't possibly be right. But there is still something unsettling about hearing Ford go on and on about how great it is to be completely open with someone and get to completely be himself with no fear of being rejected. There is still a voice in the back of Bill's mind that wants to respond with 'wow, must be nice! I bet that's a wonderful experience! Sure must be fucking nice to be able to do that, huh!'. Ford thinks he is getting to experience it for the first time, but Bill is too far down the road of lying until it doesn't sound like lying anymore for him to ever feel what Ford is describing so intimately to him. He knows it so acutely that it hurts. The way Ford talks about it makes Bill almost want to be able to be completely honest with Ford. It makes him almost want to give up his plans in exchange for the joys of being fully known by someone who loves him so much.
But he can't. So, after Ford talks about his experiences with not being able to be himself around other people, Bill shares only a tiny sliver of the truth about himself. In response to Ford's so sweetly asked question about if Bill thinks they'll spend an eternity together, Bill answers: "No. You are mortal, for one thing, and there is very little that can be done about that. What we have is not going to last very long, and I hope I can come to terms with that when the time comes that I lose you. Unless you come out of left field and do something that surprises me. We'll see."
Ford gives him a sympathetic look, buying into the misleading way Bill phrased it to sound like an immortality problem, rather than one of a clash of moralities. Ford tells Bill that he'll do his damnedest to surprise Bill. Ford tells Bill with a smile that he's full of surprises.
Bill smiles back at Ford. It's a sweet thought, but he doesn't believe it. Instead, he has to grapple with a newly-acknowledged ache in his chest. An ache that makes him almost dread the inevitable moment that Ford discovers Bill's real plans for the portal.

Spoilers Spoilers Spoilers! for the end of Endwalker (heh). Below the cut is a lil drabble. Angst, G'raha/WoL, Canon Compliant.
I was having feelings and ideas, and finally I just had to write them down.
Omicron Base, Ultima Thule.
"Raha, wait!" you cry just as he's stepping towards the omicron. He pauses and is still turning back to you when you grab his face in your hands and kiss him. The sound that G'raha makes can only be described as a squeak as he freezes beneath your hands. A moment later he's sighing and melting into the kiss.
The twins may be saying something, possibly yelling, but if they are you can't hear them. You're too focused on him, his lips against yours, his cheeks beneath your hands, his hands finding purchase on your body as you kiss him. You kiss him and kiss him and kiss him with all the love and fear and desperation you have bursting in your chest. You kiss him for as long as you can before you eventually have to slowly pull back. You open your eyes to see him dazed and blushing furiously. Its adorable, and kind of gratifying.
You keep holding his face even as you ease away, eyes locked on his. Gorgeous red that had taken him from you, only to then bring him back. You watch him as you breathe in the small space between you for just a few more moments. You try to savour them as they slip through your fingers.
"Uh you-- and then I-- But you-- I didn't think--" He fumbles for words, obviously wanting to ask what brought that on. You lean forward to press your forehead to his, closing your eyes against the pain in your heart.
"I promise. I promise okay? I'm promising, and I keep my promises. No matter what it takes, I'll keep this one. So just--" A sob kills the words in your throat. You're crying. You shouldn't be crying. You'd wanted to send him off with a smile. A smile better suits a hero. "Just wait for me, okay?"
Hands coming up to yours, he eases you back gently. You open your eyes as your hands fall to hang interlocked between you. He's looking at you. He looks so gentle, so beautiful, so fond. Your heart squeezes in your chest as he smiles at you. "I'll wait," he says. "So don't take too long, alright?" A wet laugh escapes as you pull away, forcing yourself to let him go. His hands tighten on yours for a second before reluctantly loosening and slipping away. Sniffling, you scrub your arm over your face. You look at him, drinking in the sight of him, whole and healthy and alive, and you smile.
"I'll see you soon," you promise.
"I know you will."
This is so much like what happened at the crystal tower when he sealed it and its killing you. You remember begging him not to go, that you'll find another way, just please don't do this. But he felt he had a destiny to fulfill, and was convinced that you'd be alright without him. He'd sealed himself in that damned tower, and when you saw him again-- Well. There's so much more you want to say to him, but you can't drag this out any longer. You'll tell him once he's back. You will.
You watch as he steels himself and turns. He walks up to the omicron and what he says pierces your already bleeding heart. You want to scream as the dark fog of dynamis swirls around him, hiding him from view, but choke it back. Then it fades away and he's gone. Moments later, luminous crystal bursts forth, shimmering and beautiful and horrible. Of course he would become crystal. How could it have been anything else?
You take a moment. You breathe, bracing yourself against the heartache and the fear and every other emotion you can't afford to feel right now, locking it all away inside you. Finally you look at the twins. Alisaie looks just as upset as you are, and you can tell its as much on your behalf as her own. The sympathy in Alphinaud's eyes has you turning away before he can say anything, looking for the start of the crystal road G'raha had sacrificed himself for.
"Let's go. I don't want to keep him waiting."

"What happens now?"
Nemo has spent unimaginable amount of time staring at his father's skull, its eyes unlit. Was he watching still? Did he see Nemo brought back to life by the forces the man himself did not understand? Or did he no longer care?
And just who exactly was Withers?
"Milord?"
It took a tentative touch to his shoulder for the man to finally turn around. And there they were, the damned, bloodied fools of his father's unholy assassins. The best of the best, the worst of the worst.
Staring at him like sheep brought to the slaughter.
"Yes?" It took all of his composure to simply shake the hand off and not break it; but composure was something he had a long good time of practicing.
And without the urge it was almost...easy. Almost like violence was something he didn't have to perform anymore.
"What will happen now?" Asked the girl, and Bhaal beneath, how didn't he notice how young they all are? None of the assassins looked older than forty and it said something about this whole business. Probably something very unsavory.
Nemo took a deep, steadying breath.
"Now," his voice echoed from the walls, multiplying it in a rather menacing manner. "You will renounce my father. You will lay down your weapons and your faith and will do no more of his bidding. Either you walk out of this godless or-" and at that he sent a glare more suited to be accompanied by a knife than by simple words. Seven hells, words were hard. "You will not walk out of it."
"Are..." another assasin raised a voice. "Are you asking us to forsake Bhaal?"
"Yes."
"And the alternative is..?"
"Joining his ranks on the other plane, of course," Nemo smiled his best, 'charming' smile. "But you all should be ready for that, everyone who kills should be ready to meet their own death. Or are you the cowardly kind?"
"So you will just kill us?" Oh, they argue now. Stupid lot. "As simple as that?"
"As simple as that," he gestured back at where whatever the fuck was left of his sister dearest lay. "Just like her. Though, I suspect, you'd throw less of a fuss over it. Or will you?"
"But we did everything Bhaal asked of us!" Another of his bunch of stupid idiots complained. "Everything you asked of us! And you will just...discard us?"
Of course he will. Did they not realize what kind of place it was, what kind of a "family"? Murder was what they did, all of them.
Him - more than the others.
"If, notice the emphasis, you do not reject Bhaal. But tear him out of your hearts - and you can walk out of this alive."
"And what about our contracts?"
That actually made him pause.
"Your...what now?"
The girl, the brave foolish girl who dared to touch him, spoke.
"Our murder contracts, you know, the ones we earn our wages from?"
They earned their wages? No, scratch that, they had wages?
He was sure he would not be able to forget that.
"Remind me for a moment, what's the deal with these," he winced. "Contracts?"
"Well...People ask us to kill someone," the girl shrugged. "We kill the target and get paid for that. Don't you remember? You set up the whole deal, said murders won't pay for our food unless we do something about it. And we did something about it," she grinned, obviously proud of "the whole deal."
"It was such a smart thing to do too, Lady Orin would never! All she wanted us to do is to perform the murders...fancily."
"By playing her corpse-dollies, I see."
Someone snickered. The girl frowned.
"Something like that. We had to run the operation in secret, but what else we were supposed to do?" She gestured around wildly. "The temple might provide us shelter, but the food? And what of our families? Some of us have children, you know, parents. Who will support them?"
Alright, now this was becoming weird.
"You're saying you've killed people...to feed your families?"
"I have a pet," someone from the crowd shouted. "It's an alligator and let me tell you, providing for this thing is costly."
"You have a pet alligator?"
"Yes," the man stepped closer. "His name is Minty, you've met him! Said he's a mighty beast and what I'd better feed him the corpses of my victims, that'd save the costs."
Despite his best judgment Nemo could feel a smirk crawl up his lips and firmly settle there.
A pet alligator Misty. Ridiculous.
There was a bunch of freaks and weirdos standing in front of him.
But again, wasn't he the same as them? A blade made of flesh, a man knowing how to take life and little else.
Maybe something could be salvaged here yet.
Maybe.
"Alright," the sigh he let out didn't feel forced, yet there was some anticipation too. Murder was familiar. Murder what brought money was...prospective. "Show me these contracts."
