Phil greying would been less noticeable considering his golden hair. There would’ve needed to be quite a few grey hairs before it was obvious and even then it would blend nicely with the gold strands. It would add to the American’s charm. Both would carry silver has crowns yet… Nik couldn’t determine that about himself. Couldn’t see himself with it, even as it took residence within his hair.
“I think I need to start investing in hair dye.”
The speed in which Phil turned his head to look at him made Nik fear he would break his neck. John just froze mid bite, eyes looking up to stare at him. Nik kept his usual level of smug confidence about him even though he wasn’t feeling anything remotely similar. Phil swallows his food, taking a deep swig of his water before he glares at him.

Nik blinked in surprise, his facade cracking.

AN: This guide is not meant to encourage you to start loving Russian language or culture. As much as I personally love Nikolai, I'll absolutely understand, there are people out there, that may feel bad, seeing him in CoD franchise, because of everything going on right now. This is not a call to start loving him, not a call to start describing this character as an absolute angel (he is not and never was). Cultural extras to get in the mood
I sometimes meet this take, that Russian, as well as German language, sounds menacing or harsh. And as much as I understand, that it is subjective perception, I have something to add: you can modulate Russian speech as well as any other. You can sound like softest softie, coo and purr in Russian, if you want. Here is a good example: a guy just reads a poem, but you try and tell me, he is not straight seducing you.
Very nice perspective on how non-tourist Russia looks like. The guy travels to places, that still look and feel like USSR and somehow manages to survive. Don't mind him rambling, how good was soviet life - he doesn't mean it, he just says whatever people, he meets, would love to hear.

Price: He knows that trans people exist. He’s supportive of them, but that doesn’t mean he understands what they’re going through. He’s never really had a phase where he explored his gender, he’s always felt comfortable being a man. However, he’s very understanding. As soon as you come up to him and tell him you’re finally getting your shots or your gel, he’s overjoyed. Yes, you’ve always been his boyfriend, ever since you came out to him, but you’re finally getting to go on the journey of getting HRT? He smiles along with you and gives you a big hug when you can barely sit still from glee. However, that joy doesn’t compare to actually watching you transition. You’re slowly growing a beard, your voice is getting deeper, your fat distribution is changing. He’s there to celebrate every step of it with you. If you’re alright with it, then he’d like to take a picture of you every once in a while so you can watch how far you’ve come yourself. However, he will sometimes make you go on a jog with him. Might force you to go to the gym with him as well since he can imagine working out could make you feel even manlier. Since he’s on deployment for months at a time, he always finds it to be a treat whenever he gets home. After all, he gets to see you transition so much in all this time. In order to celebrate all these milestones he will take you out on a lot of dates, with him paying, of course. You’re his most ideal man, you need to know just how loved you are. Lots of praise too, you’ve come so far, you’ve gone through so much, you’re so very strong. You’ve gone through things Price can’t even imagine. He’s definitely extremely supportive of you.
Alejandro: He’s never considered himself anything but a man either, but he loves trans people. In fact, I like to imagine that he’d actively stand up for them if someone is being a dick towards them. Alejandro is a well respected man who can make just about anyone shut up, he will not tolerate any bigotry. So, as soon as you come out to him, he gets a big smile on his face and immediately starts calling you his boyfriend. And, once you go on T, he’s just as happy as you are. You’ve had to live in such an uncomfortable body all this time, finally you get to feel like yourself. He’ll help you with your testosterone as well, if you let him, of course. Every time he delivers your shot to you or rubs the gel in he gives you a hug afterwards, shaking a bit with excitement, always raving about how happy he is for you. Sometimes he jokes about how hormones can also be exchanged through making out, but you don’t have to kiss him if you don’t want to. Again, it’s just a joke. You’re his handsome man and if anyone ever dared to disrespect or misgender you then they’ll end up with a black eye. As mentioned above, he does not tolerate bigotry in the slightest. Sometimes he’ll run his thumb over your beard and tell you just how gorgeous of a man you are, and how happy he is to have you with him. On your dysphoric days he’ll remind you that you’re the most wonderful man to have ever existed. Trans is just an adjective, you are a man, you’ve always been one. Sits you on his lap, wraps a blanket around you and lists all the traits that make you a man. And even if he can’t make the dysphoria go away, he’ll still stay with you and cuddle you until you feel better.
Rodolfo: I think there was a time in Rodolfo’s life where he thought he was better off as a woman, but that phase didn’t last too long, a year at most. He didn’t go through with anything either, but he knows what dysphoria feels like to some degree. Ergo he’ll never be a bigot towards trans people. He respects them quite a lot, being misgendered and referred to by the wrong name feels so disheartening, having to go through all of that for such a long time is horrible. So he feels a bit bad when you come out to him, thinking that he’s referred to you by the wrong name and pronouns for such a long time. He apologizes for that as well. Of course, he wishes you all the best and will support you through whatever you wanna do. In fact, if you wanna get surgery then he offers to split the costs with you, he just loves you that much. Once you tell him you’ve finally gotten the prescription for testosterone he’s ecstatic. On the outside he may seem calm, but on the inside he’s a bit disarrayed from the happiness he feels for you. He picks you up and spins you around because he’s just that giddy. Will also help you administer your shots or help you apply your gel, if you’re comfortable with that. He’s very observant, so after a few weeks he’ll tell you how you’re slowly starting to change. Like Price, he’ll invite you to do workouts with him so you can become stronger. However, he also offers to learn about other things with you. Is not above teaching you how to ride a motorcycle either, if you don’t already know. Riding one always makes him feel very masculine. As soon as you grow your first stubble, he’ll cradle your face in his hands before squeezing you so tight, you’d think he wanted to break a rib or two. Praises you so much when he sees you slowly change, he just loves you so so dearly.
Nikolai: Not trans himself, has never had a phase either, but if he likes you then he’ll actually pay for your surgery. He actually paid for Gaz’ top surgery because he’s like a son to him and wanted him to be well. You’re Nikolai’s boyfriend, so naturally he’ll pay for anything you might need. Top surgery, bottom surgery, testosterone, doesn’t matter, you’ll get it from him because he wants to be a supportive boyfriend. He’s a very observant man, so he likely had a hunch you were a trans man before you even told him. While he may not have said anything, he wasn’t particularly surprised when you told him. Asked you for your preferred name and pronouns and hasn’t referred to you as anything else since. He didn’t make a big deal out of it. Has threatened bigots before, though. When you told him you finally got to be on T, after all those years, he was happy. Again, he didn’t make too big of a deal out of it, but he told you how proud he was of you. Like Alejandro, he also joked about making out with you, though. Nothing serious, if you didn’t want it to be, however. Will also point out the small differences as soon as he notices them. As you change more and more, he subconsciously becomes more touchy with you. You’re just such a sweet man, he can’t help it. No real reason, just watching you become more and more content with yourself makes his heart flutter too, so he falls in love with you even more than he did before. If you want to, you’re more than welcome to wear his clothes too, regardless of whether they’re too big on you or not. Nikolai is a very tall guy, so there’s a good chance they are. As a joke, he teaches you the sacred art of grilling in summer. You’ll be able to make the meanest burgers around.

1. Sigma
Sigma paid his attention to you when he heard you let out a long sigh again, just a few hours had passed and you gave him some signs that you weren’t in a good mood. This did hurt his heart for a bit, because he couldn’t stand your sadness. That was when Sigma approached the couch where you were sitting. Like normal, you just leaned on his shoulder and let out another sigh. Sigma wasn’t feeling good now, his mind came up with lots of questions when you showed off this side of yours.
“Is there anything… okay to you?”
“I’m just… not feeling good, you know.”
You chuckled bitterly, and when your eyes faced him Sigma saw a gleam of darkness was hiding deep in your eyes. So dark, so alone, even so… empty. Then again, you buried your face into your palms and groaned.
“Everythings is just too much for me. And I… am too tired for everything. I think I should-”
I think I should die. You couldn’t say those words out loud even if you wanted to, but when somebody faced their loved one they wouldn’t have any courage to show that person the weakness they had been carrying in their heart. Suddenly, you felt someone’s warmth surrounding your body. When you lifted your head up, Sigma slowly pulled you closer to him, he let your ear close to his heart.
So gentle, so warm, so precious, you thought all of this was too much, Sigma was always there when you needed some help. His arms around you felt more tight, then he whispered.
“Don’t… Don’t say that. It is too much for you, right? Then, will you take a breath in my arms?”
The heartbeat resounded in your ears just like a song, gentle and full of worry. You felt like yourself just like a small child weaving for their parents' love. He just soothed you down by letting you lean on him like this, he was too precious for you now.
2. Nikolai Gogol
You were sitting alone in the empty room. How many times did you lift your head up, looked around then buried it again? You didn’t get it at all, being mental breakdown stole away almost all the happiness in your life. You heard a rustling sound resounding near you, and as you lifted your head one more time, you saw a hand appear from the portal.
It was waving at you like it wanted to say hello. A moment later it pulled out a bunch of flowers and you heard someone was giggling at the door. There stood a young man with white hair, his mismatched beautiful eyes looked at you while still giggling.
He then approached you who were sitting alone in the corner of the room a moment ago. He picked you up with his arms, when you were surprised he put a lot of kisses on your face. You shyly asked.
“W-What’s wrong, Kolya?”
“Huh, nothing. I just saw you were sad a moment ago when I entered the house, so… I thought you might be happy again when I kiss you.”
Nikolai replied without any hesitation. When you were lost in his mismatched eyes, Nikolai’s chuckles pulled you back to reality. And he quickly escaped the room with you in his arms, it seemed like he was going to pull you in another surprise just to cheer you up.
3. Fyodor Dostoevsky
Fyodor had been paying attention to the figure which was sitting on the couch an hour ago, he had no idea what you were doing now. But through the way you acted, he might guess you were having a bad time. He slowly put the tea pot and some cups of tea on the tray, by that way he could easily bring it up to you.
By the time Fyodor put the tray on the table in front of the couch, he finally saw your face. Eyes were full of tears and your hands were trying to wipe it all away but when you saw a pair of violet eyes were looking at you. You hid your face away from him, Fyodor let out a long sigh when he saw this.
A moment later, you felt his cold slender arms wrapped around your body. Fyodor was trying to hug you tightly in his arms.
“Wh-What-”
“Sh, just keep quiet. Rest, my dear. Just rest.”
He said, his other hand gently patted your back like he was comforting a child. You then naturally leaned on his touch, when you closed your eyes, Fyodor was humming a song beside your ears.
4. Saigiku Jouno
“There, do you want something else?”
Jouno said as he put the cup down on the table in front of your eyes. He was always gentle like this, though his eyes weren't able to see your face, but still himself was sharp enough to know what you were needing.
And since he was sharp enough to know about others' feelings through their heartbeat, Jouno always got his way to know that you were alright or not. He already knew that you were too tired and in a bad mood.
“I had just made you some hot cocoa, it may help you to feel better.”
You slowly picked up the cup on the table and took a sip. The sweetness of the drink went through your throat, the warmth made you feel better than just an hour ago.
“Is it good to help you feel better?”
Jouno asked again, this man he knew it clear like the back of his hand but still he always asked. You smiled at him and replied.
“Much better than now, Sai.”
He also gave you a familiar smile as he put a kiss on your forehead then hugged you tightly and said.
“Yeah, just don't push yourself too much next time. Remember that I still got you, okay?”

You woke up early today, and it was intentional. You wanted to surprise your boyfriend, not with some stupid April Fools joke but for his birthday. It was dumb of yourself to wake up at 6am to go gift shopping and get a cake but Nikolai has such a distinct schedule of sleep it's not funny.
You were roaming the store grabbing different things, you weren't sure what exactly to get him, he was a damn clown for fucks sake. You were looking through every aisle until you thought, the pom-pomson Nikolai's outfit and on the end of his braid was getting old.
You rush your way through the stores and make it to the pom-poms, you didn't think Nikolai cared what color so you ended up getting a variety pack. You sigh softly, the basket was filled with little goodies, pom-poms and the cake that read, "happy birthday, Kolya."
The cake was confetti with a silly clown iced on by the words. The sidings were covered in rainbow sprinkles with dollopes of icing circling the top and bottom. It was simple but thoughtful.
You hurry home it was around 7am now, Nikolai would wake up soon and "demand" the usual love and affection you always gave him. You set the cake in the fridge and grab a gift bag to put all the other goodies along with a handwritten card.
By the time you were done Nikolai had gotten up, making his way through the quiet house and now right behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist, nuzzling his face into your creek of your neck. "My dove, you weren't in bed, what're you doing up," he said, he seemed a bit more possessive than usual, maybe he just didn't sleep much.
"Where were you? You're always in bed at this time.?" He asked, his eyes were shut as he takes in the sent of your shampoo that lingered in your hair from last night's shower. "Oh, I went out to get some things." You said, his white haired man pulls away before he eyes the cake on the counter top, a smile spreading on his lips.
"Mhm? You went to go get a cake? For what?" He said cheekily, you knew he knew why you went to go get the cake just from his silly attitude he had and the way he was all giddy. "You know what, Kolya." You said with a soft chuckle, leaning into Nikolai's embrace.
"Yea I guess I do, sweetheart. I appreciate it, I really do." He said, kissing your neck softly. You reach over the counter and grab the gift bag, turning around so now you were face to face with your boyfriend before handing him the bag with a smile. He took the bag and rummaged in it, a bright smile on his face as he sees all the different sweets and the bright colored pom-poms.
"Awe, sweet cheeks, you shouldn't have." He said with a soft sigh, gently picking you up and placing you on the counter, his hands resting on your thighs rubbing up and down them slowly his finger tips grazing your inner thighs. "The pom-poms are very cute, I'll wear them everyday." He said with that usual bright smile he always gives you.
"Now how about we dig into that cake, and make I'll dig into you later." He said with a devious grin before he leans in, kissing you slowly. You kiss back, a soft hum coming from your throat as you close your eyes. "Happy birthday Kolya." You say against his lips, making him squeeze your thighs softly.

Sometimes he’d show up bloody, other times just regular old Nikolai, which to you, isn't saying much. It was fine as long as he did not cling to you, to which he didn't for a while. Forced to go with him whenever he wanted to hang out (which usually ended in someone spilling blood), truth be told it was fun at times even when the threat comments were sent your way. Nikolai once even pointed a gun to your head during one of these outings but pulled back and had a laughing fit over it. Those days always ended in the same process, promising to someday kill you, and overtime you never took them seriously as you should’ve. Sure at first you were on high alert but afterwards, for the 17th time, you chilled back.
Maybe you still should’ve been on high alert as he kept getting more and more clingy, but you grew to appreciate his company at that time. Now as you’re tied down in an uncomfortable position you face the man once again, his giggling getting even closer until you could feel his warm breath on your neck. “Happy valentines~! I wanted to spend time with only you but it seems you had other plans so I had to do something about that!”
Your fists clenched, tearing the skin off and making you bleed while the rest of your body was trembling. Nikolai seemed to find special enjoyment out of this reaction, he finally jumped to see the front of your face. “Aweee don't worry my dove!, I wont do anything to you, physically.”
His eyes slimmed while his grin grew bigger, letting out a few more giggles. The only light allowing you to see was shut off then quickly turned on again, in the middle another soul meeting the same fate as you. But you knew well it was your date and it was only gonna end in them getting gored.

While you knew what was gonna happen, your mouth was open along with your eyes in fear, you couldn't help but start pleading. The cheery tone only worsened your emotional state, everything was getting hazy with tears streaming down your face. It happened quickly, your date started with two arms now they had one, their cut arm falling sloppily on the ground. With another swing, they were left with no arms, and you couldn't help but scream while more tears clogged up your vision. The blood slapping against the floor was a horrible sound to listen to.
