Was your inspiration when creating Haruko Ren Sangonomiya Kokomi? Since they’re my two faves I just thought they looked quite alike

✦゜ANSWERED: Ren was originally based off of my old UTAU/Vocaloid OC, so there are no real visual inspirations for his design!! ^^ I just like creating pink/white-haired scrunklies who are perhaps a bit unhinged lmao

Also this isn't directed at you by any means, but just so others are aware: I'm not really comfortable with people comparing Ren to other characters (it diminishes all the effort I put into making his design and personality unique, and oftentimes leads to people mischaracterising him (i.e. if he looks like Kokomi then he must act like Kokomi as well)). It's not fun being put in another character's box when I wasn't intending to be there in the first place ;v; /nm /lh

#I've received so many asks in the past comparing Ren to Gasai Yuno or Ramuda; but usually I just delete em or turn it into a /lh joke ;v; #But yours was by far the sweetest out of them all so I don't take any offence!! /gen #Anyways.... Lotor, of course, is not only quite handsy with Keith—long fingers carding through his hair or curling around his shoulder or falling to rest, sweetly possessive, at the small of his back—but exceedingly verbally affectionate too; the prince seemingly harbours no qualms at whispering teasing sweet nothings into Keith’s ear just low enough that he cannot be overheard, but not nearly so much that anyone around them can convincingly feign ignorance. Then, of course, there are the petnames—darling, sweet-thing, beloved, b’aakhitah—whether they translate or not completely redundant when so obviously  d r i p p i n g  with the adoration that coats Lotor’s expression and silver-tongue both.

Keith, as I’ve said many a time before, never learnt to rein in his innate physical tells due to not having grown up around other galra, because humans simply don’t pick up on the subtleties of his alien half’s body-language; therefore the marmorite very frequently, shamelessly, and yet //entirely unintentionally// parades his desire for Lotor about for all the Empire to witness... he’s seen as an effortlessly charming (and perhaps even flirtatious) figure, for how genuine and emotive he is, not to mention the candor with which he bares his throat for the prince at merely a look.
