in that specific section, I meant the opposite - instead of that well-mannered and polite gentleman persona he puts on for his patrons, FMN is so shaken by these new feelings that he's THIS 🤏 close to ruining his plans of revenge because he simply can't keep up the façade around you.

When Forget Me Not falls for someone, he becomes impulsive and reckless, not a lot but just enough to be noticeable by those who see him regularly - there is this slightly intense and unhinged feeling to his words, as opposed to the suave and smooth talk he casually dishes out, like he's itching to unravel and show his true nature right there and then. It's something that you still pick up on, long after that conversation has ended, something that you must've heard incorrectly because it's a little out of character, coming from him.

part of him seeks out the worst outcomes at the worst opportunities, so during his initial crush he loses focus and might blurt out stuff that is wildly "out of character" - in the context of that façade he puts on - and gives small glimpses into the deranged, weird man that he actually is!

so he doesn't struggle to say what he wants nor does he hold back, instead he might just drop something honest in the middle of a regular conversation with you that only sounds out of place IF you stop to think about it, like his whole act slips just for a second because this crush is a whole new world for him

First: I just wanted to say that I really love your art! Especially your discworld stuff!!!! As I scrolled through your art tag, I think you said somewhere that you love rendering, and that made me realize that I have no idea what rendering means.

If you have the time and if you want to, could you maybe explain the process a bit? Or are there any tutorials you would recommend? Anyway, thank you!!

Rendering in drawing is when you add lights and shadows on a character, it serves to make the character fit more naturally with a background (if there is one), and pretty much adds details and 'finalizes' the drawing.

When the characters are not 'rendered' in a drawing but still have colors, it's called 'flat colors'.

This isn't Discworld but i think this is the best exemple I have:

It's been a while since I watched the show, what's currently going on with it? How many seasons so far and is it still going on or has it ended. I think I stopped at Season 2 and remember that there was a movie.

So at current there are 3 seasons subbed, with the first two seasons having an English dub. There are actually three movies out as well (fourth one on the way this July in Japan). My prediction is if this latest movie does well in theaters, they'll make a fourth season. Can I ask when you first got into the kawaii aesthetic and how you did so? Sorry if you've answered this before!

i discovered the kawaii aesthetic when i was in my sophomore year of college, so 10 years ago now. i didn't have a ton of money to dress like that or buy cute things ( since a lot of that stuff is unnecessarily expensive, especially lolita clothing ), but i did my best with what i had.

when i started working i finally had enough money to start buying stuff for myself, and that was when i was 21 so 8 years ago.

i'm trying to remember how i learned about that kind of style, and tbh i think i just stumbled across like, kawaii hair and makeup tutorials on youtube?? people like kotakoti and venus angelic were my inspirations back then, but i don't follow them anymore

How do you write smut w/o the screen being redundant in every piece you post ? I feel like my scenes just copy each other and I’m like booooo👎

Lmaooooo my smut scenes are all repetitive. That’s fanfiction baby.

We’re all just doing the same things over and over. The character fucks you over a desk. The character takes you from behind. You sit in the character’s lap. You give him head. He gives you head. Sweet sex on a bed or couch. Dirty sex in a bathroom at a bar. Quickie in an empty room at a party.

^I have written at least 4 or 5 versions of every single one of those things. What changes is the mood, the context, the dialogue.

Is someone being comforted? Is someone being teased? Is there jealousy involved? Where were you and the character and what were you doing 5 mins before the smut scene started? Is there a kink or a fantasy being played out / brought to life / discussed?

Are the characters fighting and do they hate each other but the tension is just so strong they have to pull each other’s clothes off?

Are the characters best friends and they are tiptoeing around feelings because they are deathly afraid of ruining the most important relationship they’ve ever had?

Is the character cocky and brash? Or are you? Is the character shy and self conscious? Or are you?

All of these might seem like things that happen around smut, not during it, but trust me - all of this goes INTO the sex scene. It’s how you end up with a character sliding a finger down the column of your neck, over your collar bone, down your sternum to lay a flat palm on your abdomen, never breaking eye contact. It’s how you get a character who says “That’s it, you’re taking me so well” or “you’re making me lose my god damn mind” or “I…I’ve thought of this a million times but you’re even better than I imagined.”

It’s about knowing the pieces of a smut scene and just rearranging them to fit what you’re going for each time!

Hi! Awesome gif tutorial, I haven't giffed in years so I really needed it. I also have a question. After importing the frames at the beginning, when I go ahead and delete the frames that are not needed, let's say I delete 10 frames from the original 40 frames, the layers on the side remain the original 40. So even tho I delete unneeded frames, their layers still remain there. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance!

Hi anon! That's great to hear that the tutorial was useful, happy you liked it!

As for your question, you aren't doing anything wrong. Even if you delete a frame, the corresponding layer will still remain there in the layer view. It's just how Photoshop works, I don't know exactly why that is. It doesn't work like that the other way around, so if you delete a layer, its corresponding frame will go blank.

This is one of the reasons why I like to create a fresh new file with just the frames I want in the final gif. That way when I copy the frames over, only their corresponding layers will come along and it's a bit more tidy and organized. Also having a ton of extra layers can make the file heavier for your computer to run so it helps with that too.

So in your situation you can continue with the steps in the tutorial and those extra layers will be left behind when you create the new file. Or if you'd like to stay in the same file, you can just delete the extra layers. Be careful not to delete any that are linked to frames you want to keep. So if for example you are deleting layers that come before the frames you are keeping, make sure that the first frame you're keeping is selected. Then it will show as the little eye icon in its corresponding layer and then you know that you can delete the layers below that. Here's a little screenshot to help show what I mean:

I'm kinda self conscious about my computer nd now I can't stop thinking about it with all this gross talk, is it normal to wear down spaces in your keys, bc I've had this one for four or five years now and a lot of the keys are sorta gross and smooth. I try to wash my hands most of the time before I use it but I still feel like a little dirty grease demon every time I see my keyboard under decent light

oh no thats completely normal just from like. Wear. not even necessarily your fingers being oily or anything its just the repeated motion that wears the plastic down from the matte finish and makes it smooth and shiny thats 100% normal i prommy. it even happens on like touchpads and palmrests and basically any kind of button that has a finish on it like the ones under touchpads if they have the rubberized stuff on them. its basically just like. paint/top coating of plastic/etc rubbing off from friction pretty much it just inevitably happens with use

i will say though, dunno what kind of computer you have, but as a psa: keyboard covers are kinda bullshit. theyre good for keeping crumbs and god forbid liquids out of your computer, but- i cant really speak for All Computers on this, just macbooks, and even then im not 100% sure about NEW new ones and on like... All post 2017 or so models its inadvisable to have anything thicker than a piece of paper between the keyboard and screen at all because it can and WILL crack the screen. INCLUDING webcam covers. and of course apple does not tell you this in any meaningful fuckin way. those screens are almost always north of $500 to do if you dont have apple care. literally treat them like infants.- but on some screens with protective glass in front (again, mostly macbooks that im 100% sure on), the oils from your hands that will inevitably get on the cover will gradually cause the screen to kinda deteriorate, which is to say it wont be like... rendered unusable, but it will have an imprint shaped like the keyboard from the cover. which is a shame cause some of them are really pretty but alas i suppose
