"The poor girl... Flower, as Lady Zoroark had called her, had frozen to death, and turned into a Zorua. It seems she was resentful towards someone, yes. But even in death she had hope that her caretaker would find her against all odds. She called Lady Zoroark, 'Professor', and their demise did not stop her from being happy to see her."
Irida directed her attention to Warden Ingo. "What happened to these people makes me glad that the Pearl Clan found you, Ingo. I wish we could have saved them as well."
A once-departed soul, returned to life in Hisui. The Zorua had perished, unable to survive the harsh Hisuian environment and strife with other Pokémon.

Fic be here-
Sure, Sarahi may have gotten away from those angry, hairy, mini mammoths, but that was at the cost of being separated from Professor Rakepick. In this completely unrecognizable land. And it was getting harder and harder to see in the blizzard by the minute.
Sarahi sighed. Could this situation get any worse? She was cold, alone, and terribly hungry, though the hunger was the least of her concerns. It wouldn't be her first time starving for too long.
"Professor!? PROFESSOR RAKEPICK!?" No answers, even after shouting for a while. After thinking for a bit, Sarahi trudged forward towards the general direction she'd seen the smoke in, hoping that Rakepick would have done the same. If they were lucky, they would both either meet on the way to the settlement, or in the settlement… that is if the people at the settlement would be kind enough to give them some direction.
One problem at a time Sarahi… she told herself. And the first problem was not losing sight of the smoke in the blizzard. She still called for Rakepick between steps, and never received an answer. She hoped her mentor wasn't hurt.
She called for her Professor a few times, trying to understand if Rakepick was anywhere near, and on getting no answer, there was no choice but to assume that she was also lost in the blizzard.
A part of Sarahi wondered whether it was her fault that the two of them got separated. If she hadn't been trying to befriend the small pig thing, maybe the other large hairy pigs wouldn't have attacked. But of course a wild animal would be protective of its babies!
Well, no time to point fingers. Speaking of fingers, Sarahi was beginning to lose feeling on her own. This blizzard wasn't normal, and it almost felt enchanted. It reminded her of when she botched up the Meteolojinx on Christmas and blocked the train tracks. Not her proudest moment.
The girl blew on her fingers, but to no avail. Maybe there would be a cave nearby…? Mountains often have random caves so maybe?
Sarahi wanted to find a cave to shelter in for a while, but she did not fathom that she'd get chased into one, that too by an absolutely terrifying floating snowball with huge teeth.
There is no way we're still on earth, she thought to herself.
And there were many of these huge floating titans that had locked onto her. Sarahi was trying to get away from them, but would collide with another one that would keep blowing blizzards at her. Maybe this was why the blizzard wasn't normal, because it wasn't just the weather, but also caused by these aggressive creatures who could all breathe out cold winds.
Sarahi's legs ached from the cold and the running. Unfortunately, she couldn't see in front of her very well, and before she knew it, she'd tripped and fallen into a hole in the ground. She fell to the icy floor on her left side, and promptly blacked out.
Minutes, or hours could have passed when she woke up. The blizzard was still raging, but it seemed less bad without all the floating snowballs that seemed to have dispersed after she fell.
Though still achy, Sarahi sat up on the cold floor of the pit. The first thing she noticed was the pain in her left arm and wrist. Pressing into the areas just slightly gave enough of a sting to let her know that she had bruises. Climbing out of the cavern was out of the question. Though, looking at the walls, she didn't think she'd be able to climb up these slippery walls even if she was unhurt. On looking around, she saw that there was an opening, leading into a system of caverns.
Well… she was looking for shelter after all. It'll be better to wait inside rather than walking through a blizzard. Sarahi shakily stood up on her feet. Thankfully her feet were fine, and it didn't hurt to walk.
Near the cavern entrance were some odd icy rock-like creatures. Sarahi kept her distance from them, though she quickly found out that they weren't aggressive. They were curious of the new person in their habitat at most, because one of these creatures just walked straight up to her, trilled at her, and then waddled away to play with its friend. It was a cute sight seeing the odd rocks toddle about, and Sarahi finally felt herself smiling.
The baby creatures weren't aggressive, but she had to make sure not to touch them. Lest a repeat of the situation with the pig creatures happens again.
Unfortunately, the aggressive creatures were all deeper in the cavern. And all these aggressive creatures were… ghosts?
They were nothing like the ghosts at Hogwarts. The round black ones with gas around them and large purple ones would disappear and reappear constantly, and would try to attack her if she got too close. Thankfully they would also easily lose sight of her. The smaller ones looked like tiny floating girls, and these ones were timid and just ran away and disappeared if anything gor near them.
Sarahi decided that the baby creatures were not aggressive, and only trying to get away or hide from her. A part of her really wanted to pet the babies and make friends, but she held back. She didn't know a thing about these creatures, and didn't even have her wand for self defense. And there was no way she'd use her spare daggers to harm a creature.
Sarahi made sure not to walk too deep into the caverns, lest she lose sight of the entrance and get hopelessly lost underground. She could hear the blizzard outside still raging. There was an area sectioned off in this cavern, which was completely empty. This cave was a tad misty, but she could still see, so it seemed like a good place to wait the blizzard out. This cave was empty, other than a few of those ghostly girl-looking creatures that once again, disappeared before she even got anywhere close to them.
And in the center of the cave, Sarahi noticed that there was actually another creature she hadn't noticed before. It seemed like a little white fox, but with tufts of red fur that floated around it. It looked almost as ghostly as the other ghost creatures she saw in this cave. Maybe this was a ghost fox?
Assuming that it was a baby and therefore not aggressive, Sarahi walked around the little fox, not even making eye contact so that the baby wouldn't feel threatened.
Lo and behold, it turns out that this particular baby was aggressive.
Sarahi did not turn towards the little fox hoping her presence would be ignored, but when it growled and barked at her, she turned around in a panic, and dodged the array of glowing stars that the fox must have thrown at her while she wasn't looking.
A ghostly fox that can shoot stars… sure, this may as well happen.
This cave was closed off, and this ghost fox, though aggressive, was nowhere near as bad as the big purple ghosts outside the cavern. It just made growls and yips towards her, and occasionally attacked. This was still a better circumstance.
Okay, Sarahi… time to see if your understanding of creatures is as good as everyone thinks it is…
Sarahi raised her hands and stopped moving around quickly. She slowed her steps and stepped back from the ghost fox as well as she could.
"Hush, hush, little fox. I am not going to hurt you." She whispered. She kept speaking softly to the ghost fox, and even gave a little bow. She knew how to treat a Hippogriff, of course, but this was new. Sarahi decided to just use an amalgamation of knowledge and see what this fox responds best to, cuddlebug love or distant respect.
"You are very small and powerful. And I respect your space. I will keep away. But please do not attack. I am lost, and it is cold outside."
Sarahi knew the ghost fox couldn't understand her. She knew creatures don't understand English, of course. But from experience, the tone of her voice was often able to communicate what she wanted the creature to know.
And it seemed to be working on the ghost fox. It had long since stopped attacking, and was now just staring curiously at the human. It tilted its head like a crup pup trying to understand a new command.
Sarahi smiled pleasantly as the little ghost fox calmed down. "I am sorry I intruded on your home. I have some creature feed with me. I don't know what you eat, little fox, but other creatures seem to like it."
As slowly as possible, Sarahi moved her hands to pull out a small bag of feed she had in her pockets. The fox growled for a moment, before sniffing the air, and on detecting food, it looked on. Sarahi slid a part of the feed towards the fox, a good distance away from herself.
"I hope you like it, little one." She said, softly. "I'll look away if you don't want me to see you eat?"
The ghost fox poked the feed with its tiny paw, and gave it a sniff, to see if it was suspicious. On detecting nothing bad from the feed, it bit into it.
Sarahi, out of the corner of her eye, noticed the little fox excitedly nibbling on the rest of the feed, its floating tail swishing back and forth. The fox yipped once it had finished, indicating that Sarahi could look back.
The little fox tentatively waddled towards the human. Sarahi froze, not wanting to scare the baby, but also being scared herself. She still didn't know what this creature was or what it could do.
To her pleasant surprise, the ghost fox poked her foot a few times, and looked up at her face with pleading eyes, as if asking for more. This ghost fox looked just like her crups when they were asking for food.
Sarahi smiled, and went down on her knees. The ghost fox took a cautious step back, but still seemed interested.
"I still have more feed if you'd like, little one." She beamed. "And they say it's not practical for me to always have some creature feed on hand. How else would I make friends?"
The ghost fox tilted its head again. Sarahi giggled and placed another part of the feed on the ground in front of the fox, and stepped back. The little creature excitedly ate, and once it had finished, ran forward to nuzzle its soft hair into her leg. Its tail wagged even faster now.
Though pleased, Sarahi was still unsure how much contact this creature would be comfortable with. Slowly and carefully, she placed a light hand on the fox's head. It felt so strange, like touching a ghost, but a corporeal one. The fox showed no discomfort, and in fact pushed its head harder into her palm to get more pets.
"Oh! You seem to like that, lil guy!" Sarahi giggled and gently booped the fox's snoot. The fox yipped and licked her finger. "You're certainly not just any little fox. You're a bold one. Say, are you still hungry?"
The fox gave a bark, and actually leapt off of Sarahi's lap.
"Where are you going, little friend? There are ghosts outside!"
The fox gave a few little barks, then ran back to Sarahi. In a few seconds, at least four or five more white and red foxes followed it.
Sarahi laughed, a little overwhelmed. "Oh, were you calling your friends? Aren't you all lovely!"
All these strange ghost foxes crowded around Sarahi's feet squeaking and barking up a storm. Definitely a much more pleasant storm than the snowstorm outside.
The next few minutes were spent feeding what was left of the feed to the wriggly bunch of foxes. Before long, the feed was out, but the foxes, maybe not realizing this, continued to paw at her feet.
"Oh… I'm sorry, my little friends. I'm all out of food."
With the bunch now calm, Sarahi silently counted them. There were 6 of these small ghost foxes. On realizing that the human was out of food, some of the foxes yipped in understanding and began playing around.
These creatures no longer meant any harm, and seemed to have already gotten used to her presence. Letting out a breath into her hands, Sarahi walked to the end of the cavern and sat down against the icy wall.
That first fox she befriended sat by her feet, still looking up at her, all confused.
"I suppose the cold must not get to you that much, seeing as you live in this area, huh, lil buddy?" Sarahi asked between heavy breaths.
The little fox whined, as if concerned.
"If you're wondering why I'm here, well… I got lost, little friend. I got separated from my Professor in the heavy blizzard. My own fault, I suppose. I should have been more careful with those… pig things."
Sarahi finished with blowing on her fingers again, and wrapping her arms around herself.
"Well… I'm sure we'll find each other again. Maybe once the sun comes up."
All of a sudden, the little fox began prodding Sarahi, in an attempt to get into her lap and into her arms. Sarahi chuckled and let it. The fox rubbed its fur against her.
Was this… was this little ghost fox trying to warm her up?
No matter what this little one was trying to do, it's friends that were busy playing, noticed this, and ran to Sarahi to partake in whatever their friend was doing. Some of them sat against Sarahi, while some others also tried wriggling into Sarahi's lap.
The fox that was already in her lap began barking at its friends. Maybe it was jealous? The scene was amusing enough though, and made Sarahi giggle.
"You are all lovely creatures, you know? I don't know what exactly you're doing, but it's nice."
The foxes let out little yips at her in answer, and pressed against her dress and began closing their eyes.
Sarahi wrapped her arms around the fox in her lap. This little fox rubbed against her neck, and closed its eyes too.
"Alright alright, little friends. We can sleep. I believe the weather will be better in the morning."
"Zorua! We not cuddle the friendly human to sleep! We cuddle to make her warm. Friendly human die without warm. Very cold!"
"Friendly human give food and sound nice! She no die! We make warm! Zorua make her warm!"
"Alright alright, little friends. We can sleep. I believe the weather will be better in the morning."
“Please try sleep human friend… We Zorua keep you warm.”
“Cold…”
“Human friend?”
“Oh no! Human friend’s paws! They turn blue!”
The human coughed.
“Not warm for friend Zorua!”
“Zorua have to try. Friend cold. Not happy.”
“Oh… Zorua sorry friend.”
“We not warm.”
The human had passed. But she didn’t quite realize it.
“Oh! Please don’t cry little friends! I feel much better now.”
“You Zorua like us. We Zorua.”
“Zorua! Is that what you’re called?”
“We, Zorua. You Zorua. Am sorry. Not warm. Human died. You not happy.”
“I’m… not. But I’ll stay here with you, Zorua. At least until Professor finds me.”
“We sorry, Zorua. Human friend.. Not human. Too cold. Not warm.”
“It’s okay, little friend! I’ll be fine… I know she’ll come for me.”

Pokemon: Legends Arceus gave us the gift of the Hisuian Zorua, the adorable Normal/Ghost type Spiteful Fox Pokemon. I have enjoyed this game so much, I wanted to combine it with Hogwarts Mystery, as I said in the end of the Zoroark Rakepick post.
I mentioned this in that post as well, but again; a fanon interpretation has been that a human dying with a grudge in Hisui would turn into a humanoid Zorua or Zoroark for a short time before completely losing their human appearance and turning into the fox. Rakepick, being older, turned into a Zoroark, while Sarahi being young, turned into a Zorua. HOWEVER, Sarahi not only turned into a Zorua, she turned into a shiny one. A regular Zorua is white with red accents, while the shiny version is grey with blue accents. It's a beautiful shiny and I love it.
Irida is the Leader of the Pearl Clan, and lives in the Alabaster Icelands. Just like Rakepick, she would eventually come to find Sarahi's frostbitten body and have her buried as well, near her mentor.
