Greetings, fellow gremlins and gremlin fellows.
This year, we’re bringing back the classics for a little fun around spooky season: A ghost and his skeleton chum (affectionately dubbed Hewie and Bones by us, but you can call ’em what you want).
Right now, all you have to do is choose your fighter (or lover), as it were. You can, of course, create your own character for this challenge. We’re not the boss of you. You’re the boss of you.
Once you’ve chosen your little charge, take a look at the prompts below, and brainstorm, moodboard, or headcanon to your heart’s content. Do some sketches, write a character sheet, and generally get a little bit excited.
In the final full week of October (Monday 23–Friday 27 October), we’ll be running the following prompts for you to “dress up” your chosen buddy daily:
Monday 23: Best baddie of ’em all
Tuesday 24: Your favorite Barbie or Ken (or just Allan)
Wednesday 25: Pirates!
Thursday 26: Tour costume
Friday 27: Shape-shifter
Use the tag #cursed costumes for a chance to be included in our Halloween parade dashboard tab or on a Tumblr Tuesday post on 10/31 (a reminder to use your reblog controls if your Hewie or Bones prefers to dance in the dark).
So, come. Create some frightening, flamboyant, fiendish, or downright funny frippery. Enter if ye dare, and join us in building a nice, friendly masquerade ball of pallid pals to dance across the dash.

В этом году мы решили классически поразвлечься в самый жуткий сезон. Впереди вас ждут призрак Хьюи и его приятель Скелет (мы ласково прозвали их так, но вы можете называть их как хотите), встречайте!
Прямо сейчас вам нужно только выбрать своего героя (или любимчика), так сказать. Конечно, вы можете создать собственного персонажа для этого состязания, как вам угодно! Мы вам не указ. Вы всё решаете сами.
Определившись с персонажем, посмотрите подсказки ниже, проведите мозговой штурм, создайте мудборд, хэдканон, всё что вашей душе угодно. Сделайте наброски, подготовьте описание персонажа, подогрейте свой интерес.
Всю последнюю неделю октября (с понедельника по пятницу 23–27 октября) мы будем ежедневно подсказывать вам, как принарядить выбранного вами приятеля:
Понедельник 23-е: лучший злодей из всех
Вторник 24-е: ваши любимые Барби или Кен (или Аллан)
Среда 25-е: пираты!
Четверг 26-е: сценический костюм
Пятница 27-е: оборотен��
Добавьте к своим постам тег #cursed costumes (прямо так, на английском), чтобы получить шанс попасть в наш Хэллоуин-парад на отдельной вкладке ленты или в наш еженедельный пост Tumblr Tuesday 31-го октября (не забудьте использовать элементы управления реблогами, если ваш Хьюи или Скелет предпочитают уединение). Desafio artístico: Fantasias Assustadoras
Saudações, aparições espectrais!
Este ano, estamos trazendo de volta figuras clássicas para oferecer um desafio emocionante nesta temporada assustadora. Apresentamos Fantasminha e seu amigo Esqueleto. Mas vocês podem chamá-los do que bem entenderem.
Para este desafio, tudo o que vocês precisam fazer é escolher o personagem que preferirem... ou criar o seu. É vocês que mandam!
Depois de escolher, deixem seus miolos, corações e esqueletos falarem! O desafio é criar um esboço de seu personagem e a ficha de descrição, fazendo com que use uma “Fantasia Assustadora” correspondente ao tema do dia.
O desafio acontecerá na semana de 23 e 27 de outubro, quando apresentaremos os temas:
Segunda-feira, dia 23: O melhor vilão de todos
Terça-feira, dia 24: Sua Barbie ou Ken favorito (ou apenas Allan)
Quarta-feira, dia 25: Piratas!
Quinta-feira, dia 26: Traje de passeio
Sexta-feira, dia 27: Metamorfo
Use a tag #cursed costumes (em inglês) para ter a chance de aparecer em nosso painel dedicado ao Halloween ou no post do Tumblr na terça-feira, dia 31/10 (lembrem-se de usar os controles de reblogue se seu Fantasminha ou Esqueleto preferir dançar no escuro).

Saluti, amici gremlin e gremlin amici.
Quest'anno abbiamo deciso di riproporre un grande classico per divertirci un po' durante il periodo più spettrale: un fantasma e il suo amico scheletro (da noi affettuosamente soprannominati Hewie e Bones, ma puoi chiamarli come vuoi).
A questo punto, tutto ciò che devi fare è scegliere un personaggio, o, ovviamente, crearne uno per questa sfida. Non siamo il tuo capo: comandi tu!
Una volta scelto il personaggio, dai un'occhiata alle istruzioni seguenti e prepara un piano usando la tecnica che preferisci. Fai alcuni schizzi, scrivi una scheda del personaggio e, in generale, emozionati un po'.
Nell'ultima settimana di ottobre (lunedì 23-venerdì 27), daremo le seguenti istruzioni per "vestire" quotidianamente il tuo amico prescelto:
Lunedì 23: Il miglior cattivo di sempre
Martedì 24: Barbie o Ken (o semplicemente Allan)
Mercoledì 25: Pirati!
Giovedì 26: Costumi da palcoscenico musicale
Venerdì 27: Mutaforma
Usa il tag #cursed costumes (così com'è in inglese) per avere la possibilità di prendere parte alla nostra scheda dashboard della parata di Halloween o in un post di Tumblr del martedì del 31 ottobre (ricordati di usare le opzioni del tuo reblog se il tuo Hewie o Bones preferisce ballare al buio).

Défi artistique : Déguis3ments maUdits
Oyez, oyez, apparitions spectrales et autres amig-os !
Cette année, nous sortons de notre chapeau magique de grandes figures classiques pour vous proposer un petit défi artistique en cette saison du frisson. Place aux présentations : voici Hewie le fantômblr et Bones le squelette (violet). Mais… vous pouvez les appeler comme vous le souhaitez !
Pour ce défi, commencez par choisir le personnage vous plaît le plus ou donnez libre cours à votre imagination pour créer celui de votre choix. C'est VOUS qui décidez, vous savez.
Dans la suite de ce billet, nous allons vous proposer des thèmes pour faire parler vos méninges, vos sens, vos émotions. Bref, votre âme d'artiste ! Voilà le défi : réalisez un croquis de votre personnage ou imaginez sa fiche descriptive en lui faisant revêtir un "Déguis3ment maUdit" correspondant à la thématique du jour.
Le défi se déroulera durant la dernière semaine d'octobre (du lundi 23 au vendredi 27), avec, pour chaque jour, sa thématique :
Lundi 23 : un vilain pour les gouverner tous
Mardi 24 : votre Barbie ou Ken préféré⸱e (ou simplement Allan)
Mercredi 25 : attention, pirates !
Jeudi 26 : en costume de tournée
Vendredi 27 : le métamorphe dans tous ses états
Publiez vos billets en utilisant le tag #cursed costumes (en anglais) et en l'accompagnant bien entendu des tags de votre choix. Vous aurez peut-être une chance de figurer dans notre onglet du tableau de bord dédié à la parade des déguis3ments maUdits d'Halloween, voire d'être sélectionné dans le fameux billet "Tumblr Tuesday" qui sera publié le 31 octobre par le @staff. Your favorite Barbie or Ken (or just Allan)
This one’s deceptively simple. Roller-skating Barbie or Cowboy Ken, you decide. Want to make up a Barbie/Ken/Allan that doesn’t actually exist yet? Or edit the look you’ve chosen to suit the season? Let your creativity run wild, like Ken’s love of horses.
