Canon worldbuilding lore on the MCU Kree to help you with your fanfic

They rule over multiple planets. Hala is the capital.

Hala's star is called Pama

In the comics there are around five known planets in Hala's system - it's unclear if Hala is 4th or 5th planet because it's been confused with another planet, Turunal.

Hala is located in the Larger Magellanic Cloud

Hala had oceans and forests (rip to those tho lol)

Leader of the Empire is called the "Supremor"

The Supreme Intelligence was basically god

The collective is one idea of the afterlife — if your brain is worthy it joins the Supreme Intelligences database when you die.

The spiritual afterlife is called the Etherplex or something idk

Their technology is somewhat water based (need more info on this)

Architecture is heavy on metal and stone and is very geometric. Buildings are detailed but there generally isn't too much furniture.

Cyan and purplish lights for a big chunk of Hala, golden lights for the Supreme Intelligence.

No hanging paintings... If you want art you have to hire someone to paint your wall lol

Starforce generally have one room apartments, I couldn't see a kitchen in them.

Stuff like wardrobes, book shelves, cupboards and drawers are more likely to be inserted into the wall to save space.

Like Carol literally lived in a single room with a bed, nightstand and a hexagonal cup. The ideal female living space.

They have hexagonal cups (I just thought that was cute)

The military is a big deal! Other respectable careers involve teaching, medicine, typically intelligent jobs that give something to society.

Kids are trained from a young age in the military. They're called "recruits". There's a deleted scene of Yon-Rogg teaching some.

The military hierarchy is likely Supremor > Accuser > Starforce > Kree Army > Non Kree Army > War slaves.

The Accusers aren't just extra bad military. They uphold the law, make arrests, hold trials, decide punishments, etc. I'd imagine that this is typically done for more important criminals or prisoners of war. That's why Dar-Benn holds an Accuser hammer as Supremor — she's upholding the law.

Kree Law is vaguely structured around the Tablets of Koth — they aren't definitive but they are the main basis.

Questioning your leaders is technically illegal

The worst crime of all is being "un-Kree".

Kree supremacy is big. In the comics it's illegal for Kree to have children with other species. They will tolerate other races if they’re feeling nice about it, but ultimately the Kree come first. This is important in the context of Carol's relationship with Yon-Rogg.

There's racism of blue Kree > non blue Kree in the comics but it doesn't appear to be present in the MCU. Keep it in mind though.

The Kree originally evolved to have blue skin because of low oxygen levels on Hala. Non blue kree came later as a result of mixing with other species. Since making babies with another species has been illegality for probably millenia, non blue Kree are now just another skin tone of the species.

Sexism isn't a thing. Yon-Rogg isn't sexist to Carol he's being racist too her lol

There are groups of noble families with some quite strict rules about battle. If a noble is cornered in battle with no way out they have to drink the special suicide juice or else they are shamed.

The suicide juice is called Odium, which means hate in Latin. If you sip it you go crazy with rage, get super strength and start trying to fight everything until it makes your heart explode

In the comics the Kree have double that of human organs — ie two hearts, four lungs. Brain is probably an exception. They have stronger bones and heavier muscle mass.

Kree blood has healing properties strong enough to bring a species with simple DNA (like humans) back from the dead but it's super duper painful and like 7/8 of the people that have received it have been given some kind of amnesia afterwards

Carol was one of those humans lol rip queen

Apparently the amnesia thing isn't even hard to do? In Agents of Shield a Kree had a tiny little hammer and he'd slap people with it and they'd loose their memories (I doubt that Carol was slapped with a tiny hammer but you never know this might help you)

Propaganda art - there are some gorgeous statues and murals in the Captain Marvel concept art.

Fashion is generally dark. Black, grey and brown for most people. It's not too complicated. White appears to be for underclothes/sleeping wear.

Well it's not too complicated unless you are the Supremor. Remember, Dar-Benn is succeeding the position from their idea of god. She's dressed to the tens and stands out the most from literally everyone. Her stuff is more detailed and metallic and she's wearing a lot more jewellery.

Also notice how Dar-Benn changes outfits literally every ten minutes. I need Marvel to stop killing all the cunty villains because I deserved to study her entire wardrobe thank you very much

A few Kree women (including Carol) have the style of one side being braided and the other let down.

The Kree are encouraged to experiment with as many genders as possible

Some people grow babies in big tanks. Why? To make them strong or something idk. Carol's comic half sister was born in a big tank bc they wanted her to be strong asf to serve as an Accuser

Normal space currency is called credits. Kree currency is called kreedits. If that's not the funniest fucking thing ever I don't know what is.

Kree names are "your name-family name". Eg Yon-Roggs given name is Yon, but his surname is Rogg. His daughters name is Una-Rogg.

You generally don't separate the name. Yon-Roggs name isn't Yon, it's Yon-Rogg. Obviously there's exceptions, but that's the general naming rule. It wouldn't be outright wrong to call him Yon, it would just be uncommon and slightly weird.

The Kree have beef with every species ever. They had multiple wars with the Asgardians and the Xandarians.

This is the guy behind charging Palestinians thousands of dollars to flee Gaza. It isn't 5000$ right now though, it's actually 10,000$

His name is Ibrahim Arjani 🧵

By the way, all what I'm talking about is only available in Arabic. I only translated and summarised from another thread that was in Arabic.

Hala is part of Organi Group whose CEO would be Ibrahim Arjani. He is really close to the current regime and has a complicated history.

Ibrahim Arjani was born in northern Sinai to the Tarabin tribe. His father is called Gom'a Arjani from the Tarabin tribe. His mother is Sabiha Sha'er who is from Gaza and he was actually raised with her in Khan Younis before moving back to Sinai.

In 2008, some Police officers clashed with the Bedouins of northern Sinai in suspicion of involvement in the 2004 and 2005 bombings and 3 guys from the Tarabin Bedouin were killed. Those officers left their bodies beside a trash can and no investigation was done regarding this.

Arjani was released in 2010. Now we jump to May 2014, when Sisi met up with Ibrahim Arjani (who appeared as the sheikh of the Tarabin tribe) as part of his campaign during the 2014 elections. He even dressed him in the Sinai abaya.

From here, the relationship between him and Sisi starts He founded the Misr Sinai company for investment which he became its CEO with the help of the military. This company's capital is HUGE with the military contributing to it by 51% while the other 49% are Sinai businessmen

This company's name was later changed to Organi group and he was involved in hundreds of projects with Sisi outside of Sinai.

And in exchange, Sisi helped him form his own armed militia in Sinai. In 2015, Arjani founded Sinai Tribes Union which tens of Sinai tribes are involved in. And part of this Sinai Tribes Union is the Knights of Al-Haytham brigade which serves the interests of Arjani.

And during the Sinai insurgency, these militants helped the Egyptian army and were accused by Sinai for Human Rights of using 37 schools in Sinai as military bases and destroying 59 more schools and there is actually a report by The Guardian about this. theguardian.com/world/2023/mar…

And as a side note, this isn't the only thing they did in Sinai. There was almost no media coverage of what was happening in Sinai as it was hidden from the public so it's been hard to determine the toll on civilians there. But sometimes, vids were leaked:

As well as many testimonies and like hundreds of videos and info leaked by Sinai for Human Rights but it really needs a whole other thread. Sinai for Human Rights is the one who revealed that refugee camp they were building as well.

In any case in 2014 after the aggression on Gaza, the only company that obtained authorization to enter building materials into Gaza during the reconstruction was the Organi group and they monopolized this and became the biggest beneficiary in Gaza out of this aggression.

Zvi Bar'el, a political analyst for Haaretz, said that the main beneficiary from rebuilding Gaza is the Organi group and that Egypt's monopoly benefits Israel's policies. He also said that Arjani does this on behalf of the Egyptian gov't so they don't "get their hands dirty."

Arjani basically controls all the crossings between Sinai and Palestine and Israel. There were even instances of him using these crossings to smuggle drugs and for human trafficking, according to one of the sheikhs in Sinai.

And on the 7th of November 2023, Resolution No. 234 was published on the official Gazette appointing Arjani as a member of the National Authority for the Development of the Sinai Peninsula which means Arjani's control of ALL of Sinai was complete.

This is the same Sinai whose people were displaced and God knows what else happened there because of the heavy media blackout during the insurgency.

Anyway after all of this, the Egyptian media wants us to believe that he is just a businessman. Does this look like "just a businessman" to you? This is one of the reasons why many Egyptians call him the Hemedti of Egypt.

They're so heavily armed from the gov't. Absolutely doesn't look like he just formed his own militias in Sinai with the help of the gov't or anything.

speaking of film controversies and the fact that i was thinking about the jihad rehab shit again, it all reminds me that muslim female filmmakers of color maïmouna doucouré (director of cuties) and minhal baig (director of hala) were both accused of trafficking in islamophobic stereotypes for being even mildly critical of their own culture and religion. minhal baig was accused of laziness and islamophobia for writing a narrative around a young woman deciding to stop wearing hijab after being in a taboo and interracial relationship behind her parents’ back. and i don’t need to rehash every horrific thing that happened to maïmouna doucouré, but lost in the ruckus were the callous accusations of islamophobia against a filmmaker who was literally representing elements of her own upbringing in the film. writing for CAIR on medium (while also accusing doucouré of pedophilia), edward ahmad mitchell said this:

For me and other Muslims, this storyline sounds familiar, for it represents how anti-Muslim bigots typically think of the Muslim community — especially immigrant Muslim communities. Polygamist fathers, abused mothers, oppressed young girls, religious zealotry.

Because we have seen this story on the big screen and small screen many times before, we also know how the story unfolds.

Praying and wearing hijab supposedly represent symbols of oppression, so the oppressed must find liberation by disregarding prayer and casting off their Islamic clothing. For anti-Muslim bigots, the less you pray and the less clothing you wear, the more liberated and civilized you are.

doucouré is the child of senegalese immigrants and literally grew up in a polygamous family. and mitchell even acknowledges this, but still accuses her of bigotry and even complains that she equally condemns religious conservatism and secular sexualization.

this section in his article is particularly striking:

If you have any doubt about the film’s potential to reinforce negative stereotypes about Muslims and African immigrants, consider Cuties’ most vocal supporters.

According to Time, “Doucouré…has the support of the French government, who have expressed their wish to use Cuties as an educational tool for teachers, and have invited her to be part of a working group to combat the hyper sexualization of children in society.”

This is no surprise. The French government is openly hostile to Islam and Muslim immigrants. So is a large segment of France’s population. A film about a Muslim immigrant who liberates herself from her devoutly religious family fits perfectly into French stereotypes and expectations of Muslims.

Indeed, Doucouré should ask herself why French and American film studios were willing to fund, distribute and elevate her script over the many other positive stories that could be told about Muslims and immigrants in France. Other filmmakers who find Hollywood success with scripts about Muslims who disregard their faith traditions should ask themselves the same question.

that is exactly the kind of criticism jihad rehab got. like exactly to a T, from the initial criticism that got it censored, to the later open letter from 5 former guantanamo detainees.

doucouré was also accused of, essentially, white feminism in filia, by natalya vince:

The fact that it is a young, Franco-Senegalese female director who has made a film which reproduces stereotypical representations of Black and Muslim women and girls in France makes it even more important to underline that Mignonnes is the product of something much bigger than its director. That is to say, it is the product of a structurally racist and sexist French film industry which ultimately decides what kind of stories get out there and which don’t see the light of day and which has an unenviable track record in putting women and girls in exploitative situations on set. Mignonnes is a deeply reactionary film, whose uncritical hypersexualised representation of 11-year-old girls is the dangerous but logical result of a half-digested message about individual empowerment and agency which fails to engage in structural power imbalances of age, sex, race and class.

vince also accuses her not only of being a stooge for the french government (because her film received funding from them, which is completely normal for small indie films. plenty of films by britons of color are partially financed by the british government’s film programs), but she also accuses her of exploiting the young actresses in the film, and cites the fact that there was one child psychologist on set, even contrasting it with the fact that there were two dog handlers. she claims that doucouré cared more about the dogs (twice as much she says!) than the children; it never occurs to her that a dog handler and a child psychologist have very different roles on a set, that dog handlers are not employed for the dog’s benefit, and that perhaps a small indie film could not afford to employ several fucking psychological professionals.

i’m going to stop because this post got way longer than i intended but my point is. people pretend when they advocate for censorship of white women’s works or are unfair in their treatment of films by or about white women that it is only about anti-racism. but you would be a fool to pretend like you don’t notice that women of color are subjected to the exact same sexist bullshit and often with more extreme backlash. other women of color subjected to this kind of shit: misha green, lena waithe, chloe zhao, and the list goes on. chloe zhao at least avoided a backlash that derailed the success of her film (nomadland), but her marvel movie had the worst showing of the 2022 releases (it was bad but they’re all bad). misha green’s show was unceremoniously cancelled (again) and lena waithe still enjoys success in television, but queen & slim was derailed by the backlash.

Just watched The Marvels and decided to write a fic about Dar-Benn. She really deserves more attention.

Summary

They say she’s cold and ruthless. Unfeeling. Your typical wayward Accuser. Her sole life purpose: hunting down Captain Marvel - a reckless obsession consuming everything she once held dear. But here’s the truth; Dar-Benn was once a lot like Vers. A Starforce recruit with a heart full of ambition and every opportunity to excel.

The destruction of Hala changed everything.

For all “Emmet is accused of and put on trial for murdering Ingo” is great whump fodder, the fact is, there’s evidence that incarceration or even what we think of as traditional criminal justice isn’t really a thing in Pokemon Earth. One of Team Plasma’s Sages, Rood, is given the opportunity to atone for his crimes alongside other former members of Team Plasma to return Pokemon they stole to their trainers. In USUM, Lusamine and Guzma endanger all of Alola with their actions and Lusamine doesn’t appear to face any legal consequences and Guzma starts working under Hala.

And Chairman Rose is particularly egregious, imo. While it’s never said outright what happens to him after the main story, Oleana makes a cameo appearance in the DLC where she’s shown looking for Rose, having heard a man who looks like him (actually Rose’s younger brother Peony) was in the area, implying that Rose is a free man. I suppose he could be on the lamb but that doesn’t seem likely, he lost most of his resolve after being defeated. And the postgame antagonists of SwSh, Sordward and Shielbert, are explicitly free and atoning for their actions using their wealth.

Anyways. Point is, Pokemon Earth is a lot kinder than our world, and Emmet’s not going to get falsely accused, probably.

Chapter 14 - The Chase

Summary : A space adventure where we follow Bucky Barnes around the universe as he struggles to reclaim the love of his life amidst the backdrop of war between humans and the Kree race.

Adriana confronted Bucky and accused him of lying to her about her ancestry. Dumbfounded at her accusation, they didn't have the chance to do anything about it because they continued to be hunted by the Kree. Will they survive the chase or will they finally be killed?

Supreme Intelligence Temple, Hala, Capital of Kree Civilization - May 2025

Zogg-Larn climbed the steps towards Supreme Intelligence's Temple. He was hoping Supreme Intelligence wouldn't summon him so he could slip out with a new team to continue his hunt for James Buchanan Barnes unnoticed. But of course it was wishful thinking. Supreme Intelligence knew everything that was going on in Hala, maybe even the whole universe. He couldn't possibly escape his notice. So with dread in the pit of his stomach he entered the Temple.

He stepped onto the hexagonal shape on the floor, right in the middle of the temple. Soon blue worm-like light crawled out from the floor and connected to his fingers and temples. He closed his eyes and when he opened them again he saw Supreme Intelligence, in the form of his older self but his face looked in so much wrath.

Without saying anything Supreme Intelligence turned to him and raised both his hands. Bright blue electricity beam came crackling out of his hands and zapped Zogg-Larn, making him fell down in agony. His body felt like it was on fire.

"I told you Zogg-Larn, if you fail you will be punished." Supreme Intelligence said as he continued zapping him and walked closer to him. His eyes glowed bright blue, rage filled his expression.

After what felt like forever, Supreme Intelligence finally stopped zapping him, the bright blue electricity beam extinguished from his hands.

Zogg-Larn knelt on the floor on all fours as he said a silent prayer in his heart, thankful the pain was finally gone. He could still feel the remnants of the burning pain but it was slowly diminishing.

"How hard could it be Zogg-Larn to kill just one human? Huh?" Supreme Intelligence asked cynically.

"My apologies Supreme Intelligence. But he isn't a normal human. So.." he trailed.

He didn't have the chance to answer because Supreme Intelligence zapped him again.

"He is not a normal human but he is not stronger than you. Or perhaps you have gotten weaker, Zogg-Larn?" Supreme Intelligence sneered after finally stopped zapping him again.

Zogg-Larn didn't respond. He just looked down to the floor as he felt the remnants of the pain in his body.

"You are in luck today, Zogg-Larn. I am in somewhat a good mood today. So I won't kill you." Supreme Intelligence said.

Zogg-Larn looked up and saw Supreme Intelligence giving him a side smile. Whatever made Supreme Intelligence happy that day, he was so grateful for it.

"Thank you, Supreme Intelligence." He croaked.

"Yes, Zogg-Larn. It's almost done. The weapon of destruction. The Nega-Bomb. All it needs is just one more component. Then it's ready to be unleashed." Supreme Intelligence said, rubbing his hands together gleefully.

"But, it is none of your concern. You still have a crucial mission to follow through Zogg-Larn. I decided to give you another chance." Supreme Intelligence said.

"Oh, thank you Supreme Intelligence." Zogg-Larn said. He couldn't believe his luck. It was very rare for Supreme Intelligence to give second let alone third chances. The fact the Nega-Bomb was almost finished must have made him very happy.

Supreme Intelligence then turned his back on him and made a sweeping gesture with his hand in front of him. A scene from a forest seen from above was shown. Supreme Intelligence was apparently showing him the scene from earlier that day when he was chasing down James Buchanan Barnes and the female Torfan at Torfa's forest. The footage was taken from his ship's camera.

He continued to watch as James and the female ran in the forest, avoiding his shots.

"Do you see that woman, Zogg-Larn?" Supreme Intelligence asked.

"Yes, Supreme Intelligence." He nodded.

"That woman is Adriana Weaver, James' fiancee who is supposed to be dead. I instructed Yon-Rogg to kill her right after our first invasion attempt to earth failed. But he apparently didn't kill her. He even faked his own death and defected from us. All for that woman." Supreme Intelligence spat.

Suddenly the footage changed and he saw a flying ship close to the camera. Yon-Rogg was inside that flying ship with the woman sitting next to him. Supreme Intelligence just showed the camera footage from Ka-Loss' ship.

A voice could be heard coming out of the footage. He noticed that it was the voice of Yon-Rogg.

"I failed a mission Supreme Intelligence gave me, Ka-Loss. I'm much too ashamed to go back. So, I decided to stay here and live the rest of my life as a lowly peasant."

"Hmm.. I see. Well I'm really sorry, Yon-Rogg but we have orders from Zogg-Larn to find you. So if you could just follow us, that would be great." Ka-Loss' voice could be heard.

He saw Yon-Rogg gave Ka-Loss a salute then he heard him sigh.

"Ka-Loss, I'm afraid I can't do that. I have my own life here. I have a wife now. I'm starting a family, would you believe it? After all these years, I'm finally settling down. I just don't think Kree military life is for me anymore." Yon-Rogg responded.

The footage was then paused and he could clearly see Yon-Rogg's face looking sad through the window of the ship.

"As you can see, Zogg-Larn. Yon-Rogg had defected. He disobeyed my order, faked his own death and continued to live, even married the woman I asked him to kill!" Supreme Intelligence roared in anger, making him cowered back in fear.

"Ka-Loss seemed to have been killed after this." Supreme Intelligence said as he fast forwarded the footage until it showed Ka-Loss' ship hitting a canyon and exploded.

"I haven't been able to track Yon-Rogg down. Somehow the woman ended up meeting his fiancee while Yon-Rogg was nowhere to be found. I suspect James might have killed him." Supreme Intelligence continued.

Zogg-Larn raised his eyebrow. Yon-Rogg was a strong warrior, the only one who could beat him in training when they were both in military academy together. So he doubted James could kill him. But then again, James was supposed to be a super soldier. So it wasn't entirely impossible.

"In any case Zogg-Larn. I'm giving you a third chance. Your focus right now should be on killing them both, James and Adriana. If you fail.." Supreme Intelligence said as he walked closer to Zogg-Larn and lifted his chin up with his hand.

"I will give you a punishment worse than death." He said, his voice cold and cruel, striking fear in Zogg-Larn's heart.

"Very well, Supreme Intelligence. I will try not to fail you again." He said, looking up and meeting Supreme Intelligence's cold gaze.

"You better not." Supreme Intelligence spat as he pushed Zogg-Larn's chin to the side and dropped his hand from Zogg-Larn's face in disgust.

"Now go. They're in Yahiri." Supreme Intelligence continued.

Zogg-Larn nodded and slowly got up to his feet. He gave Supreme Intelligence a salute then closed his eyes. Once he opened it the worm-like light detracted from his temples and fingers, then went down onto the floor. He turned around and slowly walked out of the Temple with weak knees and remnants of the pain from the electricity beam still coursing through his body.

Supreme Intelligence watched as Zogg-Larn's body disappeared. After years of seeing him always succeeded in every mission he gave him, it was somewhat disconcerting to see him fail again and again in killing James Buchanan Barnes. Apparently James was stronger and luckier than he thought.

Well, if Zogg-Larn failed one more time, he might have to take matters into his own hands.

Not many Kree knew, let alone other alien races. But he was not just a bodiless entity living in a giant mainframe computer like everyone thought he was. He had a body. A body he could use if he wanted to. Lying down inanimate inside a glass tube. Far under the ground of the Temple.

If Zogg-Larn failed again, he could inhabit the body and hunt James Buchanan Barnes himself. In fact, that was probably the only thing that could prevent the prophecy from coming true. Maybe he really needed to kill James and Adriana himself.

But he needed to focus on the Nega-Bomb first. It only needed one more component.

It was time to contact his mole on earth.

His consciousness went into the web. The web that connected all AI and computers around the universe. Soon he connected with his mole's computer inside the mole's cellphone. He made what seemed like a phone call on that cellphone, which the mole immediately picked up.

"Hello." A female voice answered his call.

"It's time to take what's mine back, Sharon." Supreme Intelligence said.

"Of course. I'm on it." The woman named Sharon answered.

"Good. Take the bangle and kill her. Getting rid of an Avenger will help when we attack earth again." Supreme Intelligence said.

"Very well, Supreme Intelligence." Sharon responded.

He disconnected the call and his consciousness went back to his temple in Hala, leaving Sharon's cellphone back on earth.

Soneva Fushi bungalow, Soneva Jani Resort, Yahiri - May 2025

Adriana was half-Kree?!

The information echoed in Bucky's head as he stared dumbfounded at Adriana's angry face.

"You lied, Bucky! Yon-Rogg was right! I am half-Kree! It's you that have been lying to me, Bucky!" Adriana yelled.

"No no, that can't be true Una. You're fully human! Who told you you're half-Kree?" Bucky asked curiously.

"The Sovereign I met at the restaurant." She replied.

"The Sovereign?" Bucky asked with eyebrows raised.

"Yes, I met two Sovereigns at the Titan restaurant earlier. A couple. I saved the female Sovereign from a bug eyed alien who was going to kill her. I ended up talking with them. They told me they have the abilities to know a person's genetic make up by just looking at them. They told me I have human and Kree genes." She explained.

"Okay. First of all I haven't learned much about the Sovereigns. But there's a possibility that they could be wrong, you know. I mean, it's such a weird power that they have. It doesn't make sense." He said.

"The universe is filled with weird aliens we don't know Bucky. I mean, did you know the native inhabitants from here can make other people feel happy just by being near them?" She responded.

"Oh.. so that's the reason why I felt so happy earlier and the feeling was gone once that bell boy went out."

"Exactly." Adriana said, looking up at him as if challenging him.

"Look, Una.. I never lied to you. Even if you're half-Kree I didn't know. Please.. believe me." Bucky said with desperation in his voice.

Adriana didn't respond immediately and just looked up at him, conflict in her eyes.

"Please.. I love you, Adriana.. I mean, Una. I would never.. lie to you.. ever.." He said gently as he went closer to her and placed his hands on the sides of her arms.

For a moment they just stared at each other. One pair of hazelnut eyes stared at one pair of ocean blue eyes. One filled with doubt while the other filled with love and hope.

Her eyes slowly showed recognition and he could feel that she believed him but then suddenly her eyes spaced out, as if she wasn't seeing him. It seemed she was in a trance. He remembered seeing the same look on Wanda and then on Adriana too back on earth whenever she had a vision. His heart pounded hard in his chest as he waited for Adriana to snap out of the vision.

After a while she blinked several times and her eyes stared back at him.

"What did you see?" Bucky asked gently.

"We have to go. Now." She said as she turned around and quickly headed towards the bedroom.

"What?! What's going on?" Bucky asked in confusion as he chased Adriana to the bedroom.

"I think I saw the future, Bucky." Adriana said as she walked towards the walk-in closet and opened the closet door.

She picked up a shopping bag from the closet and rummaged her hand in it.

"Back in Torfa I had a dream that you killed Yon-Rogg." She said slowly as she paused her movement. Her eyes immediately turned sad and making Bucky feel a pang in his heart.

"And then it came true." She sighed. "I just saw us being chased by the Kree right here on Yahiri. So I think it's better that we leave now. In case I really saw the future."

"You do have that ability, Una. I'm glad you realize that." He smiled as he approached her.

"A precognition ability?" She asked, her eyes wide.

"Yes." Bucky nodded.

She stared at him with a meaningful look on her face but then her eyes showed sadness again.

"It's a really cool ability to have. But it's hard too." She sighed.

He realized what she was talking about and felt the guilt again in his heart.

"I'm sorry again, Una, for killing Yon-Rogg." Bucky said.

He wished he could take the sadness away from her eyes. Even it meant that she was still with Yon-Rogg and not with him. He couldn't believe that he could think like that, but he preferred not to see her sad. Especially not because of him.

"I know you are. But I.. I still don't know if I can ever forgive you, Bucky. Just so you know." She said in regret.

"Okay.. but I really hope you will one day. Once you gain your memory back you will understand why I killed him." He said.

Adriana didn't respond and just stared at him. Then she averted her eyes and continued to rummage inside the shopping bag. Finally she produced a black leather jacket from it and gave it to him.

"I bought this for you." She said.

"Oh, thanks." Bucky said, surprised at the sudden change of behaviour from her.

"Yeah, I saw you wore that when we were being chased." She smiled.

"Oh! Well then we should get going." He said.

"Just a minute, I need to change myself." She said as she picked up a pair of trousers, a shirt and a leather jacket similar to his from the inside of the shopping bag.

"Umm.. could you get out while I.." She said, blushing a little.

"Oh.. yeah.. of course. Sorry. I'm just going to get ready myself." He said, blushing as well.

He turned around and quickly left her. He closed the door of the closet behind him and went to get his holsters and some knives which were still attached to his old jacket. Unfortunately he had left the Kree's laser gun back in the ship as he didn't want to scare the Yahirians, bringing weapons into their planet. His knives were small so he felt more comfortable bringing them.

He removed the holster from his old jacket. He then put on the leather jacket Adriana gave him, zipped the front up then put on holsters on his back and waist. He tried to move his arms around and realized he couldn't freely move his Vibranium arm. So he ripped the left sleeve of the jacket, revealing his Vibranium arm and started to move it around. Feeling satisfied at how he could move his Vibranium arm, he started to put on his boots.

He was just finished putting on his boots when Adriana opened the closet door and came out.

His jaw dropped as he looked at her.

Adriana came out looking so bad ass in an all black ensemble with black trousers, black leather jacket and black boots. Her hair was put up into a ponytail at the back of her head. She reminded him of Natasha, the Black Widow, somehow. The thought made him feel sad a little. But then it was not the time to feel yet another grief. He shook his head and smiled at her.

"Wow.. you look amazing." He complimented her, making her blushed again.

"You look.. amazing too." She replied and this time Bucky could feel himself blush.

They didn't have the time to admire each other longer because the front door of the bungalow was kicked open and several Krees came barging in. They didn't notice them in the bedroom yet so Bucky pushed Adriana gently back into the closet and quietly closed the door, hoping he could hide them both in there.

They froze inside the closet and stood facing each other. Their bodies were so close to each other that he could feel her warmth radiating out of her. They waited with bated breath as the Krees explored the bungalow.

He looked down at her and felt his heart rate quickened as he gazed at her eyes. So close, she was so close that it reminded him of those times he looked into those eyes and found love there. He glanced at her lips and felt the urge to just kiss her like he had done numerous times before. The way she gazed at him didn't help. He could see recognition and love in her eyes too.

Suddenly he felt the hair at the back of his neck stood up as one of the Kree was seemingly standing right outside the closet. Adriana looked at him in fear as the door of the closet was slowly opened.

With his super soldier speed Bucky rammed his Vibranium arm through the closet door, destroying it in the process, and caught the Kree's neck in his hand. He choked the Kree until the life was extinguished from his eyes and threw him down onto the floor. He quickly knelt down and picked up a laser gun which was in the Kree's hand and stood up.

Shots of laser beams suddenly rained down on them as the other Krees realized what just happened. Apparently they were also inside the bedroom.

Bucky deflected all the shots with his Vibranium arm and shot back at them. He successfully hit three out of five Krees, making them all fell down. The surviving Krees shot back at him and he ducked down.

"Go.. go..!" He yelled and pushed Adriana towards another door of the closet that faced the bathroom.

Adriana opened the door of the closet and immediately ran out into the bathroom. Bucky followed her with the Krees hot on their tail. Unfortunately the Krees were fast and were able to successfully caught up with them.

One of the Kree knocked the laser gun from his hand and Bucky ended up fighting one of them with his bare hands while the other one attacked Adriana.

He quickly pulled out his knife from a holster on his waist and started to attack the Kree with it. The Kree tried to block him but Bucky was fast. He successfully stabbed the Kree on multiple parts of his body. Eventually he succeeded in stabbing the knife on the side of the Kree's neck, killing him in the process and the Kree fell down onto the floor with a thud.

Bucky pulled out the knife from the Kree's neck and looked up to see Adriana, fighting with the other Kree. She was kicking the Kree's stomach and groin, making the Kree fell over in pain. She forcefully grabbed the back of the Kree's head and slammed it hard onto the nearby sink. Bucky heard a crack as the Kree's head hit the sink and he fell down onto the floor, dead.

Awe. That was the only feeling he could feel as he saw Adriana looking down at the Kree with disgust on her face. She had gotten really strong and skillful. She really was a force to be reckoned with. He thought in admiration.

"Come on, we should go." Adriana said, looking at him.

Bucky blinked and nodded. He put his knife back into the holster on his waist after cleaning it with a nearby towel. He then picked up a laser gun from one of the dead Kree and put it into the holster on his waist.

They ran towards the front door but as soon as they arrived they bumped into four more Krees who just came in from the front door. The Krees started to shoot laser beams at them as they quickly made a turn and ran towards the stairs.

They climbed up the stairs as the Krees continued to pursue them, shooting laser beams at them. Bucky ducked as the laser beams ricocheted around the walls surrounding the narrow stairs.

The stairs led them to an open terrace on the second floor where the only way out was through a slide that ended up onto the freshwater pool down below.

Seeing no other option, Adriana sat on the slide and quickly slid down, screaming on the way down. Bucky didn't have a choice so he sat on the slide and slid down too but not before pulling out the laser gun from the holster on his waist and putting it on top of his head. He hoped the laser gun would survive being wet. He didn't have any more weapons except some small knives.

With a splash he landed into the pool below and he quickly swam out of it, holding the small laser gun up on his head as he tried not to let it get wet. As he got out of the pool he could see two Krees sliding down as well.

"Bucky, come on!" Adriana yelled.

But in a split second Bucky knew what to do. He pointed his laser gun at the sliding Krees and shot at them. Thankfully the laser gun was still working. His shot hit one Kree on his chest while another hit him on his arm. The Kree that was shot on the chest landed in the water and once he did, he floated on the pool with his face and body facing down, dead. The other one landed in the water with a splash and Bucky quickly shot him multiple times before he had a chance to do anything. Soon the Kree stopped moving and floated on the pool too, dead.

"Bucky, come on! Let's go!" Adriana shouted as she extended her hand towards him.

He took Adriana's hand and they ran into the living room where he could find two other Krees standing, waiting for them.

They stood frozen side by side, facing the two menacing Kree. The Krees were both blue skinned. One had long black braided hair styled in a half up half down style while the other had short cropped black hair. Both had yellow creepy eyes.

"James.. we finally meet." The Kree with the braided hair tilted his head to the side and gave him a creepy smile.

"Yeah.. and who are you?" Bucky asked, staring at him defiantly while pointing the laser gun at him.

"Your worse nightmare." The Kree said as he started to quickly charge at Bucky.

He didn't have the chance to shoot the Kree as the Kree knocked the laser gun out of his hand. Soon they were fighting with their bare hands, throwing punches and kicks at one another. The other Kree attacked Adriana and they fought with their bare hands too.

Bucky managed to punch the Kree on his jaw and nose but the Kree was strong and he managed to punch Bucky on his head, making him see stars. The Kree caught his neck and started to strangle him, a deranged look on his face.

"You will die this time, James. You will not be my failure." He hissed.

Bucky choked as the Kree continued to strangle him and levitated his body off the floor a little. Then he remembered the lesson he told Sebastian to get out of a choke hold. He put his hands underneath the Kree's outstretched arms, put his thumbs on the Kree's eyes and his other fingers behind the Kree's head and he slammed his head onto the Kree's head. The Kree immediately let him go and grunted as he held his head in pain.

Bucky saw stars again as he fell down when the Kree dropped his neck from his hold. He shook his head to try to see clearer and once he did he quickly got up and picked up a knife from the holster on his waist. He attacked the Kree with his knife but the Kree blocked him. He switched hands and managed to stab the Kree with his knife on multiple parts of his body. The Kree continued to try and attack him but Bucky was fast. Eventually he managed to stab his knife into the Kree's left shoulder and the Kree fell on his knees, grunting in pain. Bucky pushed the knife harder into the Kree's shoulder, staring at him with a death stare as the Kree stared back at him with fear in his eyes.

"I guess I will be your failure after all." Bucky said coldly as he twisted the knife deeper, making the Kree scream in agony. Then he threw a punch onto the side of the Kree's head with his other hand, knocking him out and the Kree fell down onto the floor with a thud.

He turned his attention to Adriana and saw her still fighting with the other Kree. Unfortunately the Kree seemed to be winning. He picked up a laser gun from the ground and with precision shot the Kree on his head. The Kree stopped moving and fell down onto the floor, his eyes looked up at the ceiling blankly.

"Are you okay?" Bucky quickly rushed to Adriana's side and held both her arms tight.

Adriana nodded. He could see some bruises and cuts on her face but she didn't seem to have major wounds anywhere else on her body and he was really grateful for that.

"Let's go. We should get out of here." Bucky said and he gently guided Adriana out of the bungalow.

He was going to take her towards the reception building of the resort, intending to borrow their hover car to get to the hangar. But Adriana pulled him to the opposite direction, way towards the edge of the bridge, onto the open sea.

"Una.. where are we going?" Bucky asked, dumbfounded as she started to run.

"Trust me!" She yelled, glancing at him with a meaningful look on her face.

Bucky didn't have a choice but to follow her so he ran with her towards the edge of the bridge.

Shots of laser beams suddenly flashed by them again, making them duck their heads as they continued running. Bucky glanced back and his eyes widened as he saw a Kree stood up in front of their bungalow and pointed a rifle like laser gun at them. He wasn't sure which one the Kree was but apparently they didn't succeed in killing them all.

The Kree seemed to be badly injured so he couldn't run and chase them. But he continued to shoot at them, dragging his feet slowly towards them, as they ran towards the edge of the bridge. Soon they reached the edge of the bridge and didn't have anywhere else to go but to jump into the dark water.

"Come on, Bucky. Jump!" Adriana yelled, reaching out to hold his hand and they jumped into the water holding hands while laser beams were still being shot at them.

The shots from the Kree stopped as soon as they entered the water. Without any diving equipment they couldn't stay underwater too long so they had to come up to the surface.

Bucky panted as he finally reached the surface of the water. Adriana was swimming next to him but he noticed she looked a little pale.

"Are you okay?!" Bucky asked.

Adriana didn't respond but she glanced down to her left shoulder and Bucky saw that she had a wound on her left shoulder. The laser beam shot by the Kree managed to hit her shoulder.

"Adriana! Stay with me!" Bucky yelled as her eyes started to droop.

"You're gonna be okay!" Bucky yelled as he felt dread seeped into his stomach.

He couldn't. No, he couldn't watch her die yet again.

Please God, no.. please don't let her die. He thought in anguish as he continued to hold her tight in his arms, preventing her from drowning.

He looked back towards the bridge and saw the Kree standing near the edge of the bridge, pointing a laser gun at them.

He started to swim away from the bridge, dragging Adriana with him as laser beams were being shot at them.

He felt his body lifted up all of a sudden and a bright golden light showered them. The golden light levitated them up into the sky. Bucky looked up and saw a ship, hovering above them. The underbelly of the ship was opened wide and the golden light pulled them up towards it.

He closed his eyes as the golden light blinded him and took them into the ship, taking them somewhere safe from the Kree's attack.

Torfa, Outskirts of Greater Magellanic Cloud - May 2025

Bright blue light flickered on and off on top of a hill deep in the forest. He could see it from far away. He remembered the bright blue light seemed to come from a device only his race could make. Could it be that there were other Kree on the planet? He wondered as he steered his ship nearer to the source of the light.

Well, he did find a destroyed Kree ship that looked a lot like his old enemy's ship up near the Pentatigra's nest. He tried to find out who the ship belonged to. Despite being destroyed, the ship's main controls didn't seem to be too damaged so he had tried to turn it on. It was successfully turned on for a while but then it died and wouldn't turn on again. Eventually he left the ship and decided to look around hoping to find the ship's owner. And it seemed he might have found him.. or her.

The light suddenly stopped flickering and he could see another ship flying not far from him, a Kree military ship! He was thankful that his ship was in invisible mode. He really wasn't in the mood to fight with the Kree soldiers. The ship landed not far from the hill and he decided to land his ship as well. He thought it was better to investigate things on foot as he could get into places more discreetly.

He got out of his ship and swiftly walked towards the hill. He arrived moments later just as he saw a body falling down from on top of the hill and fell down with a splash into a small lake in front of him. He walked towards the lake fully expecting whoever it was that had fallen down into it to appear to the surface of the lake. But moments passed and no one came up from inside the water. So he took a deep breath and jumped into the lake.

He dove deep down into the lake and saw a body lying down immobile at the bottom of the lake. He quickly approached it and his eyes widened as he saw who the body belonged to.

He pulled the body and swam up onto the surface of the lake. He finally reached the surface of the lake and he continued to drag the body to the shore.

As soon as he arrived on shore he laid the body down on the ground gently and studied the face. There was no mistaking it. The body belonged to his mortal enemy, Yon-Rogg.

He checked Yon-Rogg's pulse and found it to still be beating but the pulse was very weak. He studied Yon-Rogg's whole body and found a wound on his stomach. He seemed to be injured badly. So he needed to move fast if he wanted to safe Yon-Rogg.

For a second he contemplated on not doing anything and just let Yon-Rogg die. Besides, Yon-Rogg was responsible for almost killing him multiple times in the past. But he couldn't do it. No matter how much he hated Yon-Rogg, he couldn't let him die. So he turned on a device on his wrist and directed it towards Yon-Rogg. Blue beam came out of the device and enveloped Yon-Rogg in its light. He then lifted his hand and Yon-Rogg's body was lifted as well. He directed Yon-Rogg's body towards his ship, walking as fast as he could and hoping he could still safe Yon-Rogg's life.

Earth-Yeerk War

Alien invasions have been a common occurrence and usually they prove to be quite flashy. The Molluscs came down with tripods firing like crazy. The Triffids rampages like monstrous beasts throughout the world. The Harvesters obliterated entire cities. The Furons abducted thousands and razed buildings into ashes. Even the Kanamits made a big show of how benevolent they were as a ploy to subjugate the world without resistance. However, not all aliens have attacked in such overt ways. Infiltration has been a common approach. The Pod People, Skrulls, Zygons and Visitors all attempted to conquer Earth by shapeshifting into humans. These attempts failed but another race attempted a similar strategy: the Yeerks.

The Yeerks as a species resemble a slug and on their homeworld they largely remained in aquatic environments, feeding off of Kandrona rays emitted from their local star. Their sentience was not fully harnessed until they began taking hosts in the form of the less-intelligent and short-lived Gedds. This allowed them to form a civilization that ultimately made contact with the Andalites. Ironically Andalite paranoia about the Yeerks seeking to conquer other races and take them as hosts would ultimately lead to the Yeerks pursuing exactly that course. In the Earth year 1966, the Yeerks entered a war with the Andalites and began working to subjugate other species. They successfully overtook the Hork-Bajir, the Taxxons and the Race. Andalite efforts to combat and contain them were assisted by the Galactic Federation, the Vulcans, the Nova Corps and the Green Lantern Corps, who successfully kept the Yeerks from large-scale infiltration of Hala, Remulak, Ork and Mesklin. The Vulcans pulled back from this alliance, however, after the Andalites carpet-bombed the planet Gor preemptively when Yeerk scout ships were discovered to have landed on the planet’s surface. The Yeerks, meanwhile, were given support in their efforts by the Goa’uld Empire. The Goa’uld, while viewing the Yeerks as lesser than them, suspected they shared a common evolutionary ancestor with the Yeerks and if nothing else they may at least offer a trial run for Goa’uld conquests.

It was shortly after Gor’s bombardment that the Yeerks made their way to Earth. Being made aware of the planet after intercepting an old broadcast of Galaxy Quest, the Yeerks began an infiltration of Earth in the late 1960’s. This initially proceeded slowly owing to the widespread proliferation of superheroes on Earth coupled with Yeerk worries about a nuclear exchange breaking out between the US and USSR with the Yeerks being caught in the crossfire. The Yeerks formed a front organization known as the Sharing to lure people to become hosts. The Sharing was consciously modeled on groups like Keith Winton’s Church of Practiology and Valentine Michael Smith’s Church of All Worlds, both of whose groups were growing in this era. More religious elements were phased out after an attempted lawsuit by Lancaster Dodd, who accused the Sharing of deliberately modeling itself after his own group The Cause. The Yeerks feared this could draw unwanted attention and expose their infiltration too soon, especially as the Skrull invasion was a recent memory. Early Yeerk infiltration also had to contend with the supernatural, discovering how widespread it was on Earth after making the witch Dolores Umbridge a Controller. As this was all new to Yeerks, some argued it was not worth it to proceed with a large-scale takeover, though this faction ultimately lost out.

The Yeerks additionally squabbled over how thorough an invasion of Sol should be. The 10th planet Mondas was considered a target until the mechanization of the native population made it seem impractical. Back when the planet was known as Mongo, the population would have likely been suitable hosts to Yeerks but the Cybermen’s mechanical forms offered them ample protection. The Yeerks would periodically raid Mondas to avoid the Cybermen becoming competition for Earth. The Mi-Go of Yuggoth and the Ganymedans were ultimately deemed unsuitable hosts, the Mi-Go in particular having driven Yeerks who infested them mad before rejecting them. An attempt to form a deal modeled on the one made with the Taxxons with the Vermicious Knids hit a snag when the Knids proved less reluctant with their ravenous hunger, which they quickly demonstrated to the Yeerk envoys who attempted to make a deal with them. The Yeerks retaliated with a bid to destroy all Knids, overseen by Vissser 2 whom was consequently absent from the invasion of Earth. However, there was a major debate in the Yeerk Council of 13 about trying to infiltrate Mars or the Moon. These plans soon ran into snags, however. A Yeerk scouting expedition to Mars headed by Hork-Bajir hosts was slaughtered by Barsoomians. A more successful effort was made to infiltrate the Moon, with Yeerks infesting a number of Selenites, Vespertillo-homo and Lunites. The Lunar Controllers would discover the ruins of the ancient Silver Millennium on the Moon, which was of immediate interest to the Yeerks. However, their investigations into the site drew the simultaneous attention of the Inhumans of Attilan and a Nazi moonbase on the far side of the planet. The Inhumans proceeded to mount an attack that killed many Controllers and destroyed the local Yeerk pool, leaving the remaining Yeerks on the planet to slowly die due to lacking Kandrona rays. An attempt to evacuate the survivors was repelled by a mecha originally created by Wilhelm Strasse, leaving the Yeerks to ignore the Moon in favor of Earth.

After the end of the Cold War, the Yeerks began drastically ramping up their infiltration, going from a few thousand controllers in 1990 to over 6 million worldwide by 1995. The Earth-Yeerk War’s official beginning in 1996 is attributed to that being the year humans not under Yeerk control first took real notice of the invasion. A group of teenagers in Bahia Bay, California were the first to end up in this war after encountering the Andalite Prince Elfangir who gave them access to an Escafil Cube that let them gain the ability to morph into animals. While this team fought a largely secret war against them and dealt major blows to their operations, they were not the only ones to be aware of or combat the Yeerks. UNIT, the UN’s alien defense body, would become aware of the Yeerks after a group of Controllers failed in a plot to place a Yeerk in the mind of Secretary-General Diana Palmer. UNIT advocated a large-scale investigation to root out the Yeerks but were constrained by resource limitations. The presence of the Tiberium element and the rise of the Brotherhood of Nod from former Augment-aligned groups aiming to seize it meant the UN was fixated on the Global Defense Initiative. The Exalt and their allies in the Syndicate likewise became aware of the Yeerks in 1997. The Exalt ordered their Syndicate allies to prevent the schismatic Men in Black faction as well as other groups like the SCP Foundation and Torchwood Institute from finding out about the invasion. While the Exalt did not truly want a Yeerk-ruled Earth as it was antithetical to their own agenda, they saw an opportunity to soften the Earth up for their planned 2012 conquest by helping the invasion grow. Stargate Command was made aware of the Yeerks in 1997, but owing to limited intelligence presumed they were simply a faction of Goa’uld and thus only had limited engagement against them prior to 1999.

While the Yeerk infiltration was global, the Yeerks prioritized securing California as their main fiefdom. By 1997, virtually every major town in California had a Yeerk presence. Sunnydale was the largest exception, as that town’s mayor Richard Wilkins had, after an attempt to forcibly make him a host at a meeting with leaders of The Sharing, absorbed the Yeerk in his head and threatened to unleash demonic forces on the invaders if they set foot in his fiefdom. In a bid to draw American security operatives to the state, the Yeerks made the leadership of the white nationalist group the Order into Controllers, who then stoked Earl Turner’s attempt to trigger ‘the Day of the Rope’ as part of a gambit to make FBI and military personnel into Controllers. This scheme would ultimately largely be unsuccessful. An attempt to infest the G8 leadership (Josiah Bartlet, Adam Lang, Sergei Karpov, Hayato Igashari, Clark MacDonald, Martin Schormann, Grace Bellanger and Marco Abiatti) during a conference in San Diego was foiled by the aforementioned teenage team. The war with the Yeerks remained a low-level guerrilla affair until the Yeerks attempted to make California Governor Eleanor Watson into a Controller after infesting her second husband (whom she had married shortly after he saved her from an asssassination plot headed by her first husband Brendan Grant). Governor Watson was saved from the Yeerks and publicly revealed them to the world in 1999.

With their exposure, the war with the Yeerks became public. The Yeerks destroyed Bahia Bay, though many were able to escape the city. Open conflict with UNIT and the US military took place across the globe. UN space assets discovered the Yeerks were dispatching a large space force to reinforce the Yeerk pool ship in orbit, with a secondary goal of crushing human defenses. With an Andalite presence at the time lacking, a human-led space fleet was formed. The flagship was the vessel the Archangel Michael, the ship that had brought humanity victory over the Fithp. That race, ironically, also was a participant in this fleet. The Chtaptisk Fithp herd viewed its loyalty as now belonging to the ‘herd’ who had defeated them which they viewed as the United States. Rounding out the force was a collection of reprogrammed Harvester spacecraft, an orbital weapons platform created by Tony Stark and several superheroes led by Captain Future. While the Yeerks had a technological advantage, they were taken by surprise by this force which bought enough time for support from the Coalition of Planets (an ally of the Andalites formed originally to resist the Viltrumites) to wipe out the remaining Yeerk fleet and the Pool Ship was denied crucial reinforcement as it was targeted from the Earth. The Yeerk defeat was triggered shortly after when Jake Berenson, the leader of the guerrilla fighters on Earth, blew a hole in the ship that sucked an estimated 150,000 Yeerks into the vacuum of space. This act, while a war crime, did force the Yeerk forces to surrender. Esplin 9466, the Yeerk leader who held the title of Visser One, was captured and tried for war crimes in The Hague. Remaining Yeerks were forced to leave human hosts and the planet as well.

The war produced a number of consequences for humanity. The Hork-Bajir and Taxxon aliens used as hosts for the Yeerks remained largely on Earth, the latter using the Andalite Escafil Cube to morph into less ravenous life forms. The UN declared reservations for the Hork-Bajir in Jellystone National Park and the Taxxon nothlits in the Amazon. Both species’ presence would help fuel human supremacist sentiment. The Hork-Bajir joined the Tectonese as a common punching bag for the American far right. Senators Bob Roberts and Kevin Keeley would for the remainder of their respective careers introduce bills calling for the Hork-Bajir settlement to be dissolved. Andalite advocacy and relations with them helped stave off the mainlining of this prior to 2009, when contact with them was lost. The cause of the Andalites’ disappearance remains unclear, with rumors including Dalek attack, devouring of the planet by Galactus, Viltrumite conquest or something more local. Since then, tensions with the other aliens met via the Yeerk War have risen and following Adams’ ascension by coup to the presidency anti-alien groups like the Sons of Jacob and the Defenders have begun raids into their Jellystone colony. The Escafil Cube technology was shared with the human race by the Andalites and used for both military and civilian purposes (including largely replacing hormone replacement therapy for transgender people) but after the loss of the Andalite homeworld, the Syndicate seized all of the Cubes present on Earth into their custody and it is believed the Exalt had them destroyed. As the Andalites kept secret how to replicate the Cubes, morphing technology is largely considered lost to Earth. Of the original team of teenage guerrilla fighters, only one is known to still be alive but her exact whereabouts remain unknown as she has sided with anti-Adams rebels.
