I wanted to get hair twists but I couldn’t find one that I liked to buy. So of course I decided to get the some supplies and try making it myself aha (^_^;).

I got the rose gold wire in 16g and I got charms and like rose gold chain. Tho I am struggling. I didn’t know that the wire would be hard to bend

And my hands get sweaty and slippery quickly. That and I need to find a way to straighten the wire bait so I can measure it so I can make more.

Tho it’s very hard to get it straight.

like damn I know I’m queer but getting it straight shouldn’t be that are that difficult hahahahhhh

Anyway here was my first attempt

And my second attempt didn’t do great either but this is something I was new at so make sense it not gonna come out perfect.

And I Third attempt came out nice but shorter than I wanted it to be and the twist is going the wrong way for me.

As you can see the my third attempt twist was much better so I added the charms to it and it looks great in my hair. But I will be making another longer one and add the charms there.

My forth attempt the wire is straight-ish. It still a little… not straight but I did the best I could lol.

The other reason why I want to make my own is cause I want to get like polymer clay? I think it’s called and make like a little Victoria punk charms and make a hair twist with that or like earrings or something.

But you see with same as working with jewelry wire, I’ve never worked with polymer clay and I’ve never sculpted before so idk how I would go about it cause I don’t want to accidentally make it too big. And I have references of how to Victoria punk looks. And maybe make a little charm of Killer’s mask. OMG I THINK THAT BE SOO CUTEEEEEEE. Ahh I love Killer a lot.

Tbh now that I think of it Killer would look nice with hair twists in his hair. Since it long enough to hold a hair twist. And I can just image what type too. Like with charms of maybe their Jolly Roger flag, his own Jolly Roger, a mini version or his mask or his punishers, or even the fish head of the Victoria Punk.(these are ideas I will probably try to make myself with the clay) and the metal of the hair twist themselves would probably be made by Eustass lol and in some colors like Gold, red, blue. Heat would also look good in them. I’m sure the girls in the kid pirates crew would wear things pertaining to them or even like punk stuff like spikes or something. Idk I think it’s neat.

And I would like other one piece charms that aren’t obviously too big so they’re not bulky on the hair twists but I wouldn’t know where to find that.

Tho I am having fun and I have other ideas of what I want to make hair twist of too.
